1	* {{Anvilicious}}: This manga will jackhammer the notion that "'''KILLING ANYONE FOR ANY REASON IS WRONG!!!!'''" into your skull every chance it gets.
2	* AngstWhatAngst: Heike doesn't seem too bothered by [[spoiler: losing an arm.]]
3	* AssPull: During the Hunt for the Arm Arc and after you get the feeling that the story is just making up a lot of the things that happen on the fly and heavily {{RetCon}}ning a lot of the past rules and statements mentioned before (such as Sakura and her father being LastOfHisKind, the overuse of one's ability will kill them, what one's powers is capable off, and the level system of the Code:Breakers where the numbered ones are supposed to be the strongest). It almost feels like the manga was supposed to end with the [[spoiler: death of Rei's brother]] but decided to keep going so it needed to do a lot of changes to do so.
4	* DesignatedEvil: Rei's actions at the end of Episode 1. While it certainly wasn't pretty, the facts are: 1.These utter monsters murdered an old man, beat the shit out of Sakura, beat her dog to the point of death for trying to protect her, ''and'' to top it all off, were pretty clearly about to rape and kill her. 2.It was specifically stated that the law couldn't touch them, to the point where Sakura's threat to call the cops on them was met with derisive laughter. 3.Rei gave them the option to turn themselves in, and they responded by trying to kill him, too. Brutal as it was, Sakura treats him way, way worse than he deserves. Granted, finishing off the dog, who, unbeknownst to her was beyond saving probably didn't help, but still...
5	* HoYay: Just a bit, but it might be due to the translations. Calling someone "loved" or "beloved" in Japanese can be surprisingly more platonic than in English. That being said, it's definitely still there.
6	---> [[spoiler: '''Yuuki:''' My...My true feelings for him...are a whole lot stronger...than yours...]]
7	** He's saying this as he tries to [[spoiler: kill Ogami,]] the guy in question who Yuuki's referring to in that quote. It's...complicated.
8	** Heike fanboys over the Code:Emperor. But, considering he seems to want to kill him now.... there's a pattern here isn't there?
9	* {{Moe}}: Sakura's mom: she's the size of a small child and loooooves playing dress up [[spoiler: since she's Sakura's adopted mom, who knows how old she is (though when Sakura was shown in a flash back as a little girl, she looked the exact same). Sakura's biological mother is just an older version of Sakura]]. There's also Sakura's schoolmate [[CloudCuckooLander Nenene]], who is also very tiny (yet two years older then Sakura), has [[{{meganekko}} glasses]], and loves groping Sakura's breasts (she even ''names'' them).
10	** Chibisakura, who looks more like a stuffed toy than a child [[spoiler: who has fatal power-nullification powers and doesn't see killing as a "thing"]]. Ogami laughs at the idea of Sakura being a threat.
11	** Yuki's so huggable!
12	* NauseaFuel: The [[Franchise/StreetFighter Vega]]-expy murderer left diamonds with his victims' neatly sliced corpses; it's later revealed he can spit gems... I mean, that ''was'' spit, wasn't it?
13	* SeasonalRot: Many of the fans comment that the series has gone downhill since the end of the Re:Code Arc. It doesn't help that the series itself seems to be [[AssPull making up things out of the blue]] and [[RetCon changing elements of the story with little to no warning]].
14	* TooBleakStoppedCaring: It can be very hard to care about the plot when practically every other character is a sociopathic JerkAss who's answer to everything is murder. Sakura doesn't help much since she's super sanctimonious and idiotic at times.
15	* TooCoolToLive: [[spoiler: Emperor-dono, we hardly knew ye. And probably Code:Seeker (AKA "The one being sought" AKA Ogami's brother) and Hitomi (Ogami's mentor), who were both killed at the end of their arcs.]]
16	* ViewerGenderConfusion: One-armed renegade Haruto, who's referred to as "he" and "she" on the same page.
