* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Any piece of music created by BLR is guaranteed to be this, thanks in no small part to the man behind Bad Lip Reading actually being in the music production industry. As one Website/YouTube commenter put it, "I've noticed that BLR songs have an awkward tendency to be better than the originals."
** "Rockin All Nite Long" actually sounds like a real pop song... [[spoiler: Until Wiz Khalifa comes in.]]
--->"I'm an alchemist, the beat is my base metal!"
** "Gang Fight", "Everybody Poops" ([[{{Squick}} subject matter aside]]), "Time To Rock", and "Dirty Spaceman" are around a million times catchier than their originals.
** "Russian Unicorn". If being the first to be approved by WordOfGod doesn't count...
** "Morning Dew"'s bizarre, goofy lyrics somehow cohere perfectly into insane badassery, as do "Dirty Spaceman"'s.
** "Kicked Your Monkey." If Bad Lip Reading were to do a live performance, this song would be a showstopper.
** "Eye of the Sparrow", short though it was. The last [[TheStinger fifteen second reprise]] is ''epic''.
** That little foreign ditty in ''Shadow Pico'' was pretty awesome too.
** BLR have returned to their musical roots with the extended version of "Carl Poppa" from "More Walking (And Talking) Dead" and "OBSIDIOTS: Live from District 11", and by including at least one musical number in each of their more recent videos.
** "I see one wittle wee-wee, yeah, every mouse has a weenie! ('''In AMERICA!''') If we could catch a little mouse, man, then we could see some little feet, too! ('''Little Mousy FEET!''')"
** The short, but incredibly catchy "Watch Out Rinaldo!" sung by Floyd Mayweather.
** "Sample of My Pasta" proved surprisingly popular with Music/{{BTS}}' famously vocal fandom.
** All of their ''Franchise/StarWars'' songs, which, with some creativity, could be string together well as a concert or musical.
*** "Bushes of Love" is a low-key but surprisingly grooving piece about Ben Kenobi spreading his PTSD-based paranoia to Luke.
*** "Hostiles on the Hill" is a gloriously stupid rap battle/diss track that works almost too well with the Battle of Hoth.
*** "Seagulls! (Stop It Now)" covers a silly topic, but it also delivers a bouncy, jazzy feel and serves as a motivational track from Yoda to Luke.
*** "Not the Future" is a nostalgic and epic pop song musing on the iconic phrase that opens each film.
*** "It's Not a Moon" takes the role of a rather upbeat VillainSong for Tarkin and the Death Star.
*** "My Stick", a sequel to "Seagulls! (Stop It Now)" is just as catchy and upbeat as the original, with several [[ContinuityNod Continuity Nods]] to keep fans happy, with Yoda's spirit telling Luke about his stick.
** "Chocolate Lagoon", as nonsensical as it is, is catchy and has great vocals.
** "[[https://youtu.be/nranUeNkXpM Christmas Is Here]]," an odd Christmas song sung by Donald Trump which, firm handshakes and robotic Trumps aside, is a pretty upbeat celebration of the holiday.
** The soundtrack of ''Axe Assassin Albertson'', which has extended versions of the tracks.
*** [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=6yLgO19VfEA The main theme]] (linked is a version that combines the original and the reprise) only has the first lines come from an actual lip reading, with most of the song being from whole cloth. This allows the song to be both [[BizarroEpisode uncharacteristically coherent]] with none of BLR's typical WordSaladLyrics in sight, and [[UnexpectedlyDarkEpisode uncharacteristically tense]] as it tells about life in the AfterTheEnd setting. It keeps the comedy relatively low (though not nonexistent), and summarizes the hints of the story that appear throughout the segments.
*** [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=_7jOSS7GyKg Sassafras]] from [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=kDI_IN6pD7U Segment 2]] is pretty nonsensical as is to be expected, but the tone makes it come off as a PissTakeRap from Angela to Albertson, with lyrics ranging from silly ("Hey, what's going on with those teeth?!"... to UsefulNotes/GeorgeWashington) to badass ("My hawk is flying while the world's in flames")
*** [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=tevzuG5JlRo Sweet Fueling]] from [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=pCVyzgkPzO8 Segment 3]] starts out soft and swinging, then gets surprisingly passionate-sounding.
*** [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=WnbPNsVk0ts Elven Bodyglove]] from [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=Tm-TMBoKu60 Segment 5]], King George's VillainSong, takes the typical BLR nonsense and twists it into WordSaladHorror. The effect is bigger with the visuals, but the song itself is chilling on its own.
* BrokenBase: Fans of the music videos vs. fans of the political videos.
* CrackPairing: [[Music/{{Coldplay}} Chris Martin]] and... [[spoiler:a yeti that looks like [[Franchise/StarWars Chewbacca]]?!]]
* FetishRetardant: Fergie's dance in SensualSpandex while talking about her bowel habits can be this. The toilets that appear do not help.
* GrowingTheBeard: The later videos cut down on the WordSaladLyrics a lot and focus on lip readings that are, coincidentally and hilariously, coherent dialog.
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BiODEobbug&list=UU67f2Qf7FYhtoUIF4Sf29cA deleted scenes]] of "MEDIEVAL LAND FUN-TIME WORLD" reveal that the reason Eddie needs the park to raise money is so that he can afford surgery for his daughter.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** One line from "Party in the USA" (which was turned into "Black Umbrella") mentions that "the Jay-Z song was on".. think she meant "Empire State of Mind"?[[note]]Which was turned into part of "Morning Dew".[[/note]]
** ''Russian Unicorn'' becomes even funnier when you find out that the girl in the video is ''his wife''.
** After Rick Perry becomes the first "target" for BLR soundbytes, Rick Perry gets famously tongue-tied for real.
** Mitt Romney's line "In America, we have a song." He later recited "America the Beautiful" during a speech.
** Apparently [[Music/{{Coldplay}} Chris Martin]] didn't take losing Creator/GwynethPaltrow to [[Film/IronMan Tony Stark]] all that well...
** "Rockin' All Night Long" actually predicted Music/TaylorSwift's more pop direction and her collaborating with a rapper (specifically on the remix of "Bad Blood" with Kendrick Lamar).
*** Likewise, "Black Umbrella" predicted Music/MileyCyrus' raunchier style. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, she also admitted that she was [[TheStoner smoking the right stuff]].
** "Hot Jumping Beans" has a section where Music/JustinBieber offers an unseen girl some of the title beans while saying "I think you want 'em," while [[Music/RascalFlatts Gary LeVox]] follows up with "She might ''not'' want 'em." Come to find out, as of January 2013, [[Music/SelenaGomez she]] doesn't.
*** In 'Asian Baby', Bieber says "What do you mean?" and "Sorry!" Four years later, both lines became official Bieber song titles.
** A couple of years after "Black Umbrella", Music/MileyCyrus and Music/SnoopDogg actually ''did'' collaborate on a song - "Ashtrays & Heartbreaks", which Snoop released under his current moniker of Snoop Lion. Miley tweeting "Black Umbrella" to Snoop ''had'' to have had something to do with it.
** Herman Cain: "I'm gonna teach you an expression: I quit." Not long after the video was released, Cain dropped out of the presidential race.
** James Blunt's song "You're Beautiful" was turned into "Beard with glue". The second video of "More The Walking (And Talking) Dead" has Rick say that Daryl glued a beard to a mannequin.
** After the countless references to ''Franchise/StarWars'' over the years, [[Film/ANewHope all]] [[Film/TheEmpireStrikesBack three]] [[Film/ReturnOfTheJedi films]] in the original trilogy finally got lip readings of their own, to coincide with the release of ''Film/TheForceAwakens''.
** a Crossover featuring "''Series/GameOfThrones''" and ''Series/WestWorld'' was planned with the former being a theme park.
** Bruno Mars ends the bridge of "Morning Dew" with the lyrics "Mirror, mirror, on the floor/Am I the prettiest at the store?" Cue "That’s What I Like" years later involving Bruno taking a girl on a shopping spree and flirtatiously asking her to "Take a look in that mirror and tell me who’s the fairest - is it you? Is it me...?"
* HoYay:
** In "Hostiles on the Hill", there is some between Luke and Wedge.
--> '''Luke:''' I wish I wasn't so dang sweet.
--> '''Wedge:''' You are like cinnamon.
** Mike Pence refers to Donald Trump as "my prince" in "Inauguration Day".
* MemeticMutation: [[http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110329055430AAD1ySS Have I brought this chicken for us to eat?]]
** [[spoiler: No, but you've brought this chicken for us to thaw.]]
** From ''The Right Stuff'': "Meshuggeneh Vinny had a hoopty".
*** Also from ''The Right Stuff'': "And I'm pregnant".
*** Dirty Spaceman: TIE DYE EINSTEIN TAKES STOP SIGNS!
** It's becoming more and more common to see quotes from the BLR versions of the videos posted on the ''original'' videos.
** [[http://beholdtheb-hol.tumblr.com/post/147291799446/please-unmute-this This segment]] from the ''Film/HighSchoolMusical'' video.
** From "Time To Rock": "Fuck this, I can't hear you in the market."
** "YOU TOOK A SAMPLE OF MY PASTA!", from "Sample of My Pasta". Especially since that line matches perfectly with Jimin's lips. People compared it to the famous "Jimin, you got no jams" line.
* NauseaFuel: "Diarrhea is OK. I once let it shoot out for half a block."
* NightmareFuel:
** Considering how ridiculous "Gang Fight"'s lyrics were [[BreadEggsMilkSquick immediately before]], "Gonna' pay by blood, I'm gonna' see it get nasty", paired with the minor [[{{Tonality}} key]] and Rebecca's SlasherSmile AsideGlance, is a ''very'' chilling line.
** Obi-Wan's description of Anakin's death in "Bushes of Love." The chicken-duck-woman-thing ''ripped his face off''. He was still conscious and screaming afterward, and bled so much that Obi-Wan had to replace the floorboards ([[SkewedPriorities which, to Luke's horror, is the part he seemed more concerned about]]). To make matters worse, the song seems to indicate that two Jedi Knights failed to kill the beast after more than four dozen attempts, and Obi-Wan believes [[ParanoiaFuel it's just waiting to kill him too]].
** "Monster Run" wastes no time in describing what the titular monster can do to you. They can steal your skin, line their palms with cheetah coats, can rip your soul, have twin tentacles that can go up your nose, and they can hang your spine up on a tree. You should be afraid, indeed.
** "Elven Bodyglove" from "Axe Assassin Albertson (Segment 5)" turns [[Theatre/{{Hamilton}} King George III]] from FauxAffablyEvil to ''unhinged.'' The lyrics are ridiculous as usual, but paired with his UncannyValley movements and the dark melody, as well as WordSaladHorror moments like a sudden outburst of DaddyIssues and [[EatsBabies listing the names of children that he's turned into drumsticks]], it still comes across as a legitimate VillainSong.
** The otherwise upbeat and silly "Seagulls! (Stop It Now)" ends on an unexpectedly creepy note by way of Yoda ominously warning Luke not to fall asleep.
** Their depiction of Kylo Ren from [[Film/StarWarsTheForceAwakens The Force Awakens]]. Vader was made downright affable, Palpatine as just eccentric. Kylo? He makes it clear he wants to have sex with Rey, and quotes the "it puts the lotion on its skin" line from ''Film/SilenceOfTheLambs.'' Summed up best by this exchange:
-->'''Finn:''' Why is your neck wet?
-->'''Rey:''' (''terrified'') I don't wanna relive it...
* PortmanteauCoupleName: Some people have been calling the High School Musical dub pairing of [[TheDitz Chorky]] and [[RobotGirl Lumpkinella]], "Chorkinella".
* SignatureSong: "Gang Fight." "Russian Unicorn" is also a contender.
** "Seagulls! (Stop It Now) is a ''very'' strong contender, it being BLR's most popular video at ''one hundred million'' views and counting. It has also been doing the rounds on sites such as Tumblr for the last year or so, and Music/DevinTownsend covered it live in 2019.
* {{Squick}}:
** The "Everybody Poops" video has a character say "Open wide." It is about ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin. It also mentions pooping on the floor. Also "greenish potatoes with them soggy fish sticks" could be referring to what Fergie puts on the floor.
** "Dirty Spaceman" has the lines "Can you leave your wrinkled willie glue inside my ocean, please?" and "every grandma oughta freak when they see me and my brown one-eye". The Music/NickiMinaj reaction shot after the "wrinkled willie glue" line is priceless.
** The Yeti is described as "wet and furry ''and funky''". [[spoiler:And that's before we learn just why it's like that...]]
** Just the mere thought of Rick Santorum shooting out diarrhea half a block long is just... [[BrainBleach OH GOD!!!]]
** Ted Cruz likes to eat human hair.
** "Last night I pooped out glass." You're right, Fergie, that ''is'' {{TMI}}.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: "Don't Stare at the Sun," the dub of "We're All in This Together," has several sections that sound like "We Go Together" from ''Theatre/{{Grease}}'', particularly at the beginning and during the sections with nonsense lyrics. This is likely intentional, since both "We Go Together" and "We're All in This Together" have similar titles and themes (both being the finale number of a high school musical in which the cast sings about their friendship).
* TearJerker:
** Despite the ridiculousness of it, the scene where Peter Parker admits he ate Gwen's pet Pig and Duck can be quite sad. He ate 'em ''both'', man.
** The DarkReprise of "Axe-Assassin Albertson" theme seems to be at least in part from the point of view of KASCAID, an AI that's the last remaining being on [[EarthThatWas a dead Earth]]. It clearly isn't happy about this.
-->"''Oh, how beautiful the human race is. Never knew how much I'd miss their faces."''
