* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Just about everyone. For example, Death is kind of a material girl who's bored by Thanos trying to impress her, but the moment she sees [[spoiler:Deadpool flying a ship loaded with gold]], she's right into his arms.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment:
** A few of Stan Lee's cameos, such in ''Star Trek'' where he's [[spoiler:teleported into the transporter room, dressed in a tuxedo and singing "Hello, My Baby!"]], or in the second ''Iron Man'' episode, where he's [[spoiler:sitting on a tiny planet in outer space]].
** Captain America somehow pulls out and blows a conch shell when Bruce Banner [[HulkingOut Hulks out]] in the bowling alley.
* HarsherInHindsight: Ant-Man's episode came out when it seemed like the producers of [[Film/AntMan1 his first movie]] were also having a bad day or two -- [=CineFix=] posted the teaser one day after Creator/EdgarWright quit the project, and released the episode on the same day that Adam [=McKay=] turned down an offer to become the new director.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** After the release of ''Film/IronMan3'', it seems ironic that Iron Man's second episode makes the Mandarin resemble Creator/BenKingsley. [[spoiler:''[=IM3=]'' exposes Kingsley's character as an imposter of the Mandarin.]]
** Stan Lee's cameo in the ''Justice League'' episode gave a StealthInsult to their movie languishing in DevelopmentHell, insincerely assuring the League that they'll "...get it right someday." [[Film/JusticeLeague2017 Four years later]], the ''Justice League'' movie finally hit theaters, but to disappointing critical and audience reception. Four ''more'' years later, Creator/HBOMax's ''Film/ZackSnydersJusticeLeague'' gave DC a second, better-received chance to prove they could "get it right".
** ComicBook/{{Magneto}} shooing away ComicBook/{{Quicksilver}} in the ''Days of Future Past'' spoof was supposed to be a TakeThatScrappy, but Quicksilver ended up becoming an EnsembleDarkhorse after the movie's premiere. Now, it can seem like a spoof of the X-Men wasting chances to use his StoryBreakerPower.
** [[ComicBook/HowardTheDuck One of the characters]] who cameoed in the ''Guardians of the Galaxy'' short becomes a recurring character of the ''Franchise/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy'' movies. In the commentary (also released before the first movie), Junaid explains his ''Bad Days'' cameo with simply, "...because he's weird." The ''Bad Days'' crew also correctly predicted a cameo by some ''Film/{{Slither}}'' slugs, and [[Creator/DavidHasselhoff another celebrity]] showing up to sing seems to unintentionally [[Music/GuardiansInferno foreshadow]] ''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol2''.
* NauseaFuel: The {{Vomit Indiscretion Shot}}s.
* SeasonalRot: Season four disappointed viewers who thought [[OnlyTheCreatorDoesItRight the animation quality declined without Junaid and Davor]]. The only episode released from that season, ''Glass'', also runs so short, that it doesn't boast as many funny gags or clever references as the best shorts from the first three seasons did.
* {{Squick}}:
** Wolverine's attempt to eat sushi off of his blades causes him to slice his face open. [[GoodThingYouCanHeal Good thing he can heal]].
** In ''Ant-Man'', [[spoiler:TheReveal that the female ant had sex with an unconscious Ant-Man.]]
