* ActorShipping:
** There are several ships, of which Jierra (Creator/JakeShort[=/=]Creator/SierraMcCormick) is probably the most popular, followed by Chake (Music/ChinaAnneMcClain[=/=]Creator/JakeShort). Bonus points that in the latter ship, one of two is in love with the other (China Anne towards Jake).
** Jaffanie (Jake/Stefanie) is another major one, mainly fueled by the actors' own actions behind-the-scenes.
* Anvilicious: The Black History Month episode has shades of this not only for black heritage but also a little bit of women's heritage.
* BaseBreakingCharacter:
** Lexi. Does she have a hilariously exaggerated AwesomeEgo? Or is she just a genuine AlphaBitch who goes way too far?
** Olive became one in season 3, largely due to her taking a level in jerkass.
%%* CrossesTheLineTwice: A lot of Lexi's Jerkass moments are so exaggerated that they're funny rather than mean spirited.
* DesignatedHero: One episode has the cast scamming a guy into buying Fletcher's paintings at inflated prices and managing to get away with it.
* EnsembleDarkHorse:
** Paisley is hugely popular, especially for a supporting character. Granted, that probably has less to do with the character itself and more with who plays her.
** Violet also has a fairly large following (especially considering she was only in six episodes).
** Cameron, whom many consider the most likable and relatable character in the cast.
* GeniusBonus: In "Some [=EnchANTed Evening=]", Gibson recalls an incident involving a cheerleader named Samantha Herkimer. Those familiar with the sport of cheerleading will recognize that the character is named after Lawrence Herkimer, the founder of the National Cheerleaders Association.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** The episode "[=ScavANTger=] Hunt" features a lot of references to the Franchise/StarWars franchise and George Lucas - right around the same time Disney (owners of The Disney Channel) bought the Star Wars franchise and [=LucasFilm=] Licensing lock stock and barrel. Further interesting as it's a case of this trope before the episode actually aired.
** The episode [=EndurANTs=] has Billy Unger guest-star as a rival to Fletcher. He is also Jake Short's future costar on Series/LabRatsEliteForce and their characters are (sometimes) also rivals.
* JustHereForGodzilla: A fair amount of males are only watching for Lexi & Paisley (and, to a degree, Chyna & Olive).
%%* LauncherOfAThousandShips: Fletcher.
* LesYay:
** The end of "You're the One That I wANT" has Lexi playing the male lead to Chyna's female lead. They sing a romantic song somewhat similar to "Summer Nights" that was originally supposed to end with a kiss. They don't kiss, but still...
** The IdolSinger episode has Chyna singing "You are beautiful, no matter what they say..." The fact that Lexi mistakes this as Chyna singing the song to her is played as a joke, but the scene is seriously played out like Chyna is singing it to Lexi!
* MemeticMutation:
** That fucking COCKBLOCK BOOMERANG! Chyna was about to confess that she liked Fletcher in "endurANTs", then the boomerang hit her head and she collapsed. Fletcher badly wants to know what she was about to say. The phrase borrows from a Series/Glee meme, which had fans yelling at a "cockblocking piano" that blocked the view of Kurt and Blaine kissing
** A clip of Jake Short as Fletcher being interviewed about the show went viral in 2022 when it was captioned with "unpopular opinions" or awkward situations.
* MoralEventHorizon:
** Hashimoto and Winter Maddox crossed it after taking over the company by turning the [=ANT=]s into unpaid employees and forcing them to sleep in tubes.
** Winter (or rather, her monster-verse equivalent) crosses it even moreso in "MutANT Farm 3" when she forces mutant-Chyna to use her Medusa powers to turn other students into stone, so that they can be broken down into aquarium pebbles by other students under slavery.
* RetroactiveRecognition:
** Music/ChinaAnneMcClain and Creator/SierraMcCormick both appeared on the Series/HannahMontana episode "Welcome to the Bungle", both playing confused and distraught audience members on a talk show that were fans of Hannah that mindlessly did whatever Hannah said she liked, and whose parents were concerned enough about the mixed signals Hannah gave the kids to bring them to a talk show featuring Miley so their daughter's could put her on the spot.
** Fletcher changes his name to Oliver and Took a Level in Intellect when he leaves the ANT program to become a doctor at a superhero hospital for $100 per week with Gabe Duncan.
** Stefanie Scott's appearance in "Beethoven's Big Break" might also count since it was her first film role and she was roughly the same age as (if not younger than) the [=ANTs=] are in-universe.
** Sierra [=McCormick=] was also a regular on Series/AreYouSmarterThanA5thGrader
** Tasmanian Neville, who you probably know better now as Chase Davenport.
** Creator/PiperCurda of Series/IDidntDoIt had a recurring role in season 3.
** Creator/KayleeBryant, who would later become known for her work as Josie Saltzman on Series/Legacies, appeared as minor character Tina Garcetti, whom a young Zoltan had a crush on.
* RootingForTheEmpire: Later seasons have more people rooting for Lexi due to it gradually being shown she's insecure and feels she plays second fiddle to Chyna. Not helping is how Olive and Angus TookALevelInJerkass right as she TookALevelInKindness.
* TheScrappy:
** Gibson frequently draws complaints of being an annoying ManChild, which also applies to Zoltan (albeit to a lesser degree).
** Angus has been turning into one, due to his FatBastard traits and being used as an outlet for fat jokes. The fact that he's replaced the far more likable Cameron doesn't help. He's also a borderline CreatorsPet. No one ever calls him out for being rude, he gets away with being a cretin, and in a Season 3 episode he is related to royalty.
*** It certainly doesn't help that the first episode centered around him in the 3rd season had him acting like an entitled, self-centered sleazebag. Some people wished that Chyna should have just let him crash and burn.
** The group of orphans, due to being whiny, selfish, for harassing people for no particular reason and getting away with it scot-free.
** Tazmanian Neville is hated for being a clueless Jerkass and for taking credit for Fletcher's SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome and belittling him in front of everyone on live TV.
* Squick: Secret AgANT has the newly-introduced recurring character, Dixon, date Chyna, Olive, and Lexi all in the same episode. Keep in mind that, according to TheOtherWiki, Lexi is 5 years older than both Olive and Chyna.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Fletcher's talent is rarely used in the series, and if so, it's generally unimportant. The traits that the show most focuses on is his ButtMonkey status and ditziness. In a lot of plots, he's rarely even used at all for anything other than humor.
* TheWoobie:
** Cameron. He's acknowledged to have absolutely no talents other than playing Donkey King (stated in the above quote). It's also revealed that he enjoys his job as the school announcer because it's the one time a day that people are willing to listen to him. Also everyone calls him short.
** Fletcher, Fletcher, Fletcher. He is called dumb by everyone and it's always made fun of that his talent (art) is downright useless. The few times where his art is valued is by a guy who was implied to be high on cologne fumes and by his idol who takes Fletcher's gift and claims that it's his art. His SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome in the Australia episode is also downplayed by Tazmanian Neville, who claims that he rescued Fletcher from the outback and belittles him in front of what is likely a national audience. Damn, he makes Freddie Benson & Robbie Shapiro look like Leprechauns.
** Paisley in "[=ANTswers=]".
