* "[[http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?chapter=8#begin Vampires]]" is probably the first major WhamEpisode in the series. Valerie and Sam are revealed to be vampires, with the former being killed and the latter ending up PutOnABus. Valerie's death and Sam's departure resolves the LoveTriangle, but Riff getting a kiss from Zoe at the end results in more drama down the line. The arc even begins with a LoveChart to recap the cast's relationships, only for the narration to point out that many of those relationships will change in the near future.
* The comic gets a big one when [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20041119 Alt-Zoe is killed]] during the "[[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/040519 That Which Redeems]]" StoryArc.
** The ending of "[[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20081201 bROKEN]]" was a whole string of these: [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090612 Oasis being revealed as a pyrokinetic and charbroiling Bun-Bun]], [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090727 Zoe realizing that Torg's in love with her]], [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090728 Zoe realizing]] [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090729 that she's in love with Torg, too]], [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090804 Zoe getting burned]], [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090810 Sasha returning to the series]], [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090819 Torg being revealed]] [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090820 as an Unreliable Narrator]], and, of course, [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20090821 the cliffhanger]].
** Let's not forget the "[[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/050124 Oceans Unmoving]]" storyline, which featured [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20050131 the triumphant return of Bun-Bun]].
** Or "[[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20020513 Dangerous Days Ahead]]" which [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20020526 revealed that Riff was working for Hereti-Corp]] and that [[http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/20020526 the evil Aylee wasn't the real Aylee]].
* "Hi honey!" Let's be honest, nobody saw Sasha being a traitor coming.
