It chronicles multiple {{Creepypasta}} characters, such as [[Franchise/TheSlenderManMythos Slenderman]], [[Literature/JeffTheKiller Jeff the Killer]], and [[WebVideo/BenDrowned BEN]], as well as [[CanonForeigner original characters]] such as [[CatsAreMean Grinny]] and [[CuteWitch Priscilla, as known as Ms. P/Pencilneck]], as they go to retrieve Smile Dog from the Over-world (human realm).

13	* AdaptationalDumbass: All of the characters, save Slender Man and Zalgo are far more comedic versions of their original creepy pastas, which were originally intended to be unironically frightening.

He also demotes Slender Man after he finds out his sending Jeff to find supplies caused Jeff to bring Grinny to the Under-Realm, which, in his own words, could "threaten the balance". 37	* {{Jerkass}}: Nearly ''every'' single character could qualify. The most notable examples in the Under-realm are Jeff, Zalgo, and Slenderman. In the human world, Jake is a toxic boyfriend to Lara, passive-aggressively pressuring her into getting a job at only 16 years old and telling her "At least you're doing ''one'' thing right!" when she tells him she's heading inside the church.
38	* LighterAndSofter: Compared to the canon ''Creepypasta'' stories at least. This series has been designed with a conscious push for less cynicism and seriousness.
39	* LoveAtFirstSight: The moment he sees her, Grinny figures out that he is in love with Ms. P, causing him to start blushing with tiny hearts floating over his head. He even calls her "my love" once he, in anthro-cat form, finds her and Jeff tied to a tree by the Seed Eaters.

It is because of this green drug injected inside him that he is suspected of being the "green surge"/"intrusion" by Zalgo, who senses his presence somewhere in the Under-realm and instructs Shadow Lurker, his most loyal servant, to find and destroy it.
