->'''K:''' ...God is so fucking me.\
'''Liz:''' Dude, you have no idea.

''Blip'' is the story of K, a girl that was never meant to exist, and is, according to [[{{Satan}} Lucifer]], a great cosmic mistake on God's part. Because her actions have serious effects on other people and can greatly change the path of destiny, God has angels look after her and make sure she does not become anything special.

Among the cast are K's friends, most of whom are involved with the supernatural in one way or another, a couple of {{Chibi}} angels whose job is to censor K, a couple of little demons who like to beat up the angels, and a strangely {{Bishonen}} Lucifer.

[[OrphanedSeries As of July 25th, 2013, there has officially been a year since the comic has been updated.]] [[KeepCirculatingTheTapes As of April 26th, 2014, closing in on two years of inactivity, the hosting account has been suspended.]] The author's other works drop off around the same time the comic stopped updating. An archive of the comic can be found [[https://web.archive.org/web/20131015223833/http://blipcomic.com/index.php here.]]

As of January 2016, Blip appears to be back on a [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/ new website.]] A few days prior there was activity on the author's Website/DeviantArt page and emails seemed to confirm that the author had returned.

----
!!''Blip'' contains examples of:

%%* AffablyEvil: Lucifer. [[spoiler: K calls him Uncle Luc.]]
* AlienBlood: The Incubus bleeds black blood [[spoiler: after Lucifer tries to kill him]].
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Hester has a StalkerWithACrush and a [[spoiler: demon, to whom she gave a human heart,]] in love with her.
%%** On a darker note, [[spoiler: K and Bishop and Bishop and Terry's relationships.]]
%%* AlwaysChaoticEvil: The chibi-demons.
%%* AmbiguousGender: The author, Sagedono.
%%* AmbiguouslyBi: K says this about [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/45/ Liz]].
* ApocalypseMaiden: K via AscendedFridgeHorror; her interactions with people and her creative projects have altered the cosmic scheme and the cosmic powers that do exist have absolutely no idea what is going on.
* ArtEvolution: Compare [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/8/ this]] to [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/568/ this]]. The style of the faces and bodies have become less [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/14/ realistic]] and much more [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/610/ cartoon-like and stylized]].
* ArtShift: When Bang draws some silly comic strips.
%%* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Between K and Bang.
%%* AxCrazy: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/632/ K's inner child]].
* BeardOfSorrow: Bishop [[spoiler:grows one as he takes care of Terry and later mourns her death.]]
* BerserkButton: Don't say the H-word to Hester. Girl might have been called [[spoiler:[[NeverHeardThatOneBefore "Hermione"]]]] one too many times in the past.
%%* BewareTheNiceOnes: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/730/ Angela]].
%%* BigOlUnibrow: Atlantes.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead:
** Sort of. One blonde, two redheads, one with blue hair.
** K seems to be brunette now, so it's played straight.
%%* BreakingTheFourthWall: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/729 Comic 729]] is nothing but an excuse to do this.
* TheCameo:
** Fellow webcomicker [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/155/ Allan]] shows up as himself. [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/105/ Myst]] and [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/353/ the unnamed vampire hunter]] are modeled after people who posted on the forum.
** Who's that young man in the college library stocking books in [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/1016/ this strip?]] If you read ''Webcomic/QuestionableContent'' I think you know the answer to this already.
%%* CasanovaWannabe: Stephen.
%%* CharacterDevelopment: ''Very'' good development.
* ClusterFBomb: Used by K a lot early on, but as the comic progress [[CharacterDevelopment she begins to make a conscious effort to tone down her language.]]
%%* CosmicPlaything: K.
%%* CreepyChild: K's inner child is pretty much insane.
%%** [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/668/ This evil being (antichrist?)]]
%%** The recently introduced set of angels.
* CreepyTwins: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/757/ The two little blond angel boys]] that replaced the cherubs.
%%* CuteWitch: Hester.
* {{Cyborg}}: Mary is described as one early in the strip, but later (and especially once her full back-story is revealed) it becomes clear that she was always [[RobotGirl entirely robotic]].
* DarkIsNotEvil:
** LIZ. Though, she ''used'' to be evil.
** The forces of Hell are sympathetic to K, although they are trying to manipulate her.
** [[spoiler: The coalition of monsters Liz builds to help K]]
%%* DeadpanSnarker: K.
* DeliberatelyMonochrome:
** Most of the strips are in color, however there are several done in black and white due to [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/152/ "budget cuts"]].
** Also done in the {{Flashback}} that entails Mary and K's original falling out.
* DespairEventHorizon: [[spoiler: K goes through one when she thinks that Bishop is cheating on her with Terry.]]
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/325/ here]]
* DoubleEntendre: Many brands of food and restaurants are given names that resemble swear words. Examples: "Pho King", "Fuku Sushi", and "Chitos."
* {{Fainting}}: Bach faints multiple time at the sight of his own blood.
* EroticDream: K's dream about making it [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/832/ into the Mile High Club]].
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: K underwent a rather [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/1019/ interesting reaction]] upon getting a good look at Mary for the first time.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/584/ The]] [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/81/ prostitute]] Stephen talks to is only referred to as "Whore.", until she made good on her [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/695/ promise]].
* EvilTwin: Inverted (Maybe) with [[spoiler: Camael, an angel who looks exactly like Lucifer.]]
%%* ExpressiveHair: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/447/ Oh, Bang.]]
%%* FireAndBrimstoneHell: As seen [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/26/ here.]]
%%* FishOutOfWater: Atlantes when he comes to the city to visit Hester.
%%* FluffyCloudHeaven
%%* FunbagAirbag: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/328/ K trying to rescue Hester from a bad date]].
%%* FunnyAnimal: Maggie, Hester's cat.
* GenderBlenderName: [[spoiler:[[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/695/ The prostitute's name is revealed to be Quincy.]]]]
* GenreBusting: SliceOfLife about a girl [[{{Masquerade}} unaware]] of the fact that she was never meant to exist, is central in the battle between heaven and hell, that her best friends are a [[OurVampiresAreDifferent vampire]], a [[CuteWitch witch]], and a {{cyborg}}, and that her [[spoiler: ex-boyfriend is apparently a MessianicArchetype, which is something he is also unaware of]]. And that's not even addressing every story thread: a demon is now [[spoiler: [[AllLoveIsUnrequited in love with the witch]] after she saved his life because the devil [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness tried to kill him]]]], so now he and his sister are [[spoiler: [[LaResistance recruiting for a war to rebel]] against hell]], the protagonist's ex-boyfriend's ex-girlfriend ended up [[spoiler: [[LittlestCancerPatient having cancer]] then [[TearJerker died]] so [[ValuesDissonance heaven could punish her parents]]]]...you know, let's just say that this comic can be full of amazing surprises.
* GirlOnGirlIsHot: After K and Hester's FunbagAirbag moment, [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/328/ Atlantes wonders if they will "kiss like in those moving pictures]]".
* TheGoodTheBadAndTheEvil: Heaven is willing to screw our protagonist over for the sake of preserving order. Hell is trying to help her -- because they're hoping she'll bring about TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt. Most of the real good guys aren't allied with either side.
%%* GratuitousJapanese: Angela.
%%* TheGrimReaper: He's short and kind of panicky.
%%* GuardianEntity
* HappilyAdopted: [[spoiler: K loves her mom, who she called the best mom ever, and her uncle]].
* HeadlessHorseman: He was screwed over by the devil and decided to help the [[spoiler:succubus and incubus]] in their revenge against him.
%%* HeterosexualLifePartners: Mohag and Bishop.
%%* HeWhoMustNotBeSeen:
%%** K's [[strike: unnamed]] roommates.
%%** [[spoiler:The Adversary.]]
* HiddenEyes:
** Also Bishop when [[spoiler:[[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/122/ he thinks K is cheating on him]]]].
** [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/701/ In a flashback, Angela]] is shown to have bangs that obscured her eyes, signifying her previously shy nature.
%%** Liz.
* TheIgor: Mary's inventor father [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/854/ has one as a servant.]]
%%* ImagineSpot: Used quite frequently.
* ImmuneToFate: K. The only way Heaven averts her completely toppling the order of destiny is by actively censoring and sabotaging her life. [[spoiler: With God being "away", this may not actually be the case.]]
* IndulgentFantasySegue: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/65/ K's reaction to Bishop asking for her phone number.]]
%%* LastHetRomance: K to Bang.
* LightIsNotGood: The forces of "light" actively seek to ruin an innocent person's life.
* LivingShadow: Liz has the power to become this. By incorporating herself into someone else's shadow, she can follow them around, even through daylight.
* LouisCypher: My who's that mysterious, suave, blonde man who keeps appearing in the background?
* MagneticHero: K in general. Elizabeth is one of the most powerful vampires on Earth, Mary is a unique RobotGirl who was built by Frankenstein, Hester is a very powerful witch, Angela is a saint, and Bishop is [[spoiler: messiah]].
* {{Masquerade}}: How the series has (so far) balanced mundane SliceOfLife with UrbanFantasy. The non-supernatural characters are completely unaware of the forces at work around them, and the fact that their actions have cosmic consequences.
%%* MesACrowd: Mary's robot doubles.
* MindRape: Hester, Liz, and Mary's plan for [[spoiler:punishing Bishop for supposedly cheating on K]].
* MomentKiller: Deliberately invoked by Hester and K with "Operation Third Wheel", to prevent Hester's unwanted date from getting too awkward.
* MostCommonSuperPower: Parody in [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/160/ Bang's drawings of superheroes]].
* MediumAwareness: More common in the early strips. For example, [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/31/ here]] K complains about how she was drawn in a prior panel, and [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/49/ here]] she argues with the narrator.
%%** [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/729 The entirety of comic #729.]]
%%* MuggingTheMonster: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/276/ Here.]]
* MultilayerFacade: The Adversary uses in-universe {{Pixellation}} to hide his face, and wears a mask underneath that.
* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: In her dreams, [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/639 K fights a pirate rabbit transvestite robot.]] While armed with weapons and powerups from ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'', ''Franchise/StarWars'', ''Anime/DragonBallZ'', and ''Franchise/SailorMoon''.
* {{Nosebleed}}: This happens when Bishop is [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/220/ with his ex Terry]]. And when [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/434/ he gets a look down K's shirt]].
%%* NoNameGiven: K's roommates.
%%** One roommate's name is [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/728/ Wilson Hollie]].
%%* NotAMorningPerson: K.
%%* NotThatTheresAnythingWrongWithThat: Used [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/45/ here]].
%%* OccidentalOtaku: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/687/ Angela]].
%%* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: K.
* OnlySaneMan: Bishop. So far, the only real weirdness he's really shown is when he [[BerserkButton "unleashes the dragon."]]
* OpenTheIris: Hester's default state. [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/22/ "Goodness! My eyes are huge!"]] So [[WideEyesAndShrunkenIrises when they shrink]], you know she's ''really'' freaking out.
* OurAngelsAreDifferent: They're chibi. And are apparently mass-produced.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: [[spoiler:Liz (finally confirmed in comic #356)]]. Also a FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire, but she wasn't always so nice.
%%* PensieveFlashback: Liz's portion of TheRashomon.
%%* GayBestFriend: Bang.
* PowerLimiter - Stated recently to be the reason why people like Hester have magic, and others do not. In K's case, this is apparently a good thing because she has a vast reservoir of magic within her.
%%* PowerPerversionPotential: Deliberately exploited by Liz.
* PretenderDiss: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/252/ Here]] the girls watch a marathon of ''Film/HarryPotterAndTheOrderOfThePhoenix'', ''Film/{{Twilight}}'', and ''Film/TerminatorSalvation''. The girls in question are a witch, a vampire, and a cyborg. Their reactions are priceless ([[http://harmful.cat-v.org/journalism/gell-mann-amnesia-effect Gell-Mann amnesia]] is at work).
%%** Liz does like ''Literature/LetTheRightOneIn'', though.
%%* PsychoForHire: The chibi-devils.
* RashomonStyle: Deliberately [[InvokedTrope invoked]] and {{lampshaded}}. Surprisingly, we actually find out ''exactly'' what happened, due to the fact that Mary is a robot, and as she put it, "Free of errors and inconsistencies of the hippocampus."
%%* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: Liz and Mary.
%%* RedEyesTakeWarning: The Succubus.
%%* RelationshipUpgrade - K and [[spoiler: Bishop]].
* RobotGirl: Mary. Liz also has a robot body, supplied by Mary, which she can possess when she needs to go out in daylight.
* RoomFullOfCrazy: [[spoiler: The interior of Bishop's mind manifests itself as a dark little room with four endlessly tall walls with every little secret he's had throughout his life scribbled on them.]]
* RunningGag: Someone {{sneezing}} when other characters talk about them, a common superstition in Japan.
* {{Satan}}: Interestingly enough, two separate characters. [[spoiler: Lucifer is (loosely) the Christian concept (i.e. the angel rebelling against God) while The Adversary is (loosely) the Jewish concept (i.e. the loyal opposition in God's court).]] [[spoiler: However, closer to the original ideas of Satan, Lucifer is vastly out matched by Heaven, as opposed to more modern conceptions where Satan is nearly an equal force to God.]]
* ScheduleSlip: After managing to go one strip per day for ''ages'', the comic eventually dropped to a strip every few days, and then stopped altogether. Apparently, [[JustifiedTrope the author was in a car accident, and was unable to draw for two months.]] After two months, the comic resumed on December 15, although updates have slowed down to almost a monthly basis now, as of March. As of 06/04/2014 the comic hasn't updated in a long time, and the author's other accounts and works dropped off around the same time. Fans are very worried.
%%* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Bishop and Mohag respectively.
%%* SexySantaDress: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/125/ This strip]].
%%* ShadowDiscretionShot - Lucifer, before TheReveal.
* ShaggyDogStory: K and Mohag driving several hours to help [[spoiler:Bang]] who they thought had been brutally attacked. [[spoiler:He was OK, he only got stabbed in the arm and broke his phone. His attacker ended up much worse, possibly dead.]]
* ShoutOut - To several different {{anime}}s, notably ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'' [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/348/ here]], and ''Manga/DragonBall'' [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/347/ here]]. There are several to movies and TV shows as well.
* ShutUpKiss: [[spoiler:[[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/80/ Between K and Bishop]].]]
* SliceOfLife: Surprisingly, while the strip does focus on the fantastic plot, K's daily life and relationships are cataloged quite a bit.
%%* SpockSpeak: Mary.
%%* StalkerWithACrush: Hester has one.
%%* StoicSpectacles: Liz.
%%* SugarBowl: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/310/ Heaven]].
* SuperDeformed:
** The angels and minions of the devil.
** Also [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/266/ K and Mary]] arguing and cursing each other out. They are quite adorable.
* SuperSmoke: Another of Liz's powers.
* {{Squee}}: During a long car ride [[spoiler:to save Bang]], [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/482/ K lets one out upon discovering there is food in the car]].
* TheStoic: [[spoiler:[[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/580/ The angel who gets attacked by an oni doesn't even flinch.]]]]
* TakeThat:
** Hester and Maggie laugh over [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/131/ a copy of Harry Potter and its "incorrect" interpretation of magic]].
** Many comics feature some character mocking a movie or band they dislike, only for TheRant below the strip to say something to the effect of, [[IJustWriteTheThing "They're crazy, that movie or band is awesome."]]
%%* TalkingAnimal: Maggie the cat.
%%* TallDarkAndHandsome: Kei.
%%* TitleDrop: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/39/ Strip #39.]]
%%* UrbanFantasy
%%* TheUnchosenOne: K herself. She has no idea.
%%* TheUnreveal: K's full name.
%%* VampireHunter: One goes after [[spoiler:Liz]].
%%* VoluntaryShapeShifter: Maggie.
%%* WhiteMaskOfDoom: [[spoiler:Used by [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/209 The Adversary]].]]
%%* WithFriendsLikeThese[=/=]VitriolicBestBuds: K and Bang.
%%* YouNeedToGetLaid: [[http://rakugakiwall.com/blip/archive/117/ Bang to K]].
