--> ''They would become the world's ultimate fighting champions. But first, they had to survive high school''.

''Street Fighter High'' is a WebVideo series that was created by Jennifer Zhang and released in 2010, depicting the cast of the ''Franchise/StreetFighter'' video-game series (or younger versions thereof) as students in high school, going through the usual (and not-so-usual) trials and challenges of high school life. The characters aren't portrayed very faithfully as according to the actual series' canon, but it's all PlayedForLaughs.

At current, the series consists of two videos, ''Street Fighter High: Original'' and ''Street Fighter High: The Musical'', both of which are presented in the format of extended movie trailers. There's also a trailer video for ''The Musical'', plus behind-the-scenes videos and interviews with the creative team.

The series has its own website where all the videos are placed, which can be accessed [[http://www.streetfighterhigh.com/ here]], and the videos are also available on Website/YouTube (there, ''The Musical'' is split into two videos). It's also got a Facebook page, where updates are regularly posted.

!!Tropes present in the ''Street Fighter High'' series include:
* ActingForTwo: A number of the actors get to do this. For example, Matthew Lewis plays both Vega and El Fuerte, while Megan Marsh plays Shadaloo doll Juni and a random cheerleader.
* AdaptationDyeJob: In ''The Musical'', Fei Long has a blond skunk stripe in his hair (in the games, he's brown-haired). [[spoiler:In the same video, Guile's hair is a very messy black [[JustifiedTrope due to his being despondent over his break-up with Chun Li]]]].
* AffectionateParody
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Ibuki is excited at the very existence of Cody, who's just gotten out of juvie.
* AllGuysWantCheerleaders: Guile and Ryu both certainly want Chun Li.
* AllWomenAreLustful: Juri definitely is.
* AngryDance: Chun Li, Cammy and Ibuki vs. [[ComicBook/XMen Psylocke, Rogue and Jubilee]].
* AnimeHair: Although in Guile's case, it's more realistically styled here than the broom-head he's famous for sporting in canon.
* AxCrazy: Juri, though probably not quite as much as her canon counterpart (and even then, that's still not saying much).
--> '''Balrog:''' That girl is five flavors of messed-up.
* BerserkButton: Being mistaken for a boy doesn't sit well with Makoto.
* {{Bifauxnen}}: Makoto is mistaken for male by Ibuki and Gouken. [[spoiler:She wins the title of ''Prom King'' in the latter case]].
* BigEater: Rufus. In one scene he's shown to be carrying an entire case of sodas all for himself, while yelling at Principal Gouken to refill the vending machine.
* BookDumb: WordOfGod says this version of Dan has been held back in the school system for ''[[EpicFail 10 years]]'' and [[ButtMonkey will never graduate]].
* TheCameo: Professional ''Street Fighter'' player Justin Wong appears in ''The Musical'' to challenge M. Bison for the role of class president. The best part? He's cast here AsHimself.
--> '''M. Bison:''' Who are you?
--> '''Justin Wong:''' I think you know who I am.
--> ''({{Beat}}, then Bison backs up a little as [[OhCrap a look of recognition]] comes over his face)''
* CampGay: The football coach, who's not exactly subtle about his affections for Ryu, going as far as to slap Ryu's butt and then make the "call me" gesture. Ryu is suitably uncomfortable.
* CanonForeigner: Quite a few.
* TheCastShowOff: Although the characters haven't actually had any on-screen fights so far outside of the second video's ending credits, some of their actors have been trained in martial arts. For example, Jennifer Zhang (who plays Juri) is trained in Bak Fu Pai, a Southern China Shaolin-style kung fu; Matthew Mercer (Dan) is a Taekwondo and Hapkido student; and Will Magno (Guy) is not only a Wu Shu (kung fu) master, but choreographed the fight scenes in said ending credits.
--> '''Jennifer Zhang:''' ''(about Magno)'' He will wu the hell out of your shu.
* TheDitz: Ibuki, who is so ditzy she's reading a book on attention-deficit disorder while holding the book ''upside down''. Then there's C. Viper, who's apparently slow to recognize the signs of pregnancy despite being ''eight months pregnant'' herself.
--> '''C. Viper:''' So, um, I think I might have an issue. I haven't had my period in eight months...I'm always hungry, but my boobs hurt all the time.
* FatSlob: Rufus, naturally. Also Ken Masters, who in this universe seems to have put on quite a bit of poundage.
%%* ForeignExchangeStudent: Cammy.
* GroinAttack: Juri does this to Guy at one point via knee to the crotch. [[spoiler:And Makoto pulls it on Principal Gouken after he gives her, a girl, the Prom ''King'' award]].
* HighSchoolAU: The name should've tipped you off...
* HopelessSuitor: Sakura admires Ryu and even tells him as much (in not-quite-subtle tones) as she openly admires his physique and uniform. Unfortunately for her, though, Ryu's only got eyes for Chun Li.
%%* HulkSpeak: Blanka.
* HurricaneOfPuns: The series is full of them, but the crowner (and an [[IncrediblyLamePun incredibly lame one]] at that) is arguably when Ryu asks Chun Li to the prom in ''The Musical''.
--> '''Ryu:''' Can I take you to the prom?
--> '''Chun Li:''' Sure you can!
--> '''Ryu:''' Did you say...''{{Shoryuken}}?'' ''(does the famous motion)''
--> '''Chun Li:''' ...huh?
* HypocriticalHumor: In ''The Musical'' Cammy criticizes Makoto for [[spoiler:flashing her breasts to prove her gender]] while apparently forgetting that she herself did something far worse in the previous video.
* JerkAss: Juri.
* LampshadeHanging: Done by Ryu in reference to Cody's constant supply of rocks to throw no matter what kind of environment he's in (in the games, throwing rocks is Cody's projectile attack).
--> '''Ryu:''' Where do you get those rocks?
* LoveTriangle: Ryu, Chun Li, and Guile.
* MaleGaze: In ''Original'', Cammy is quick to find out that her Delta Red outfit...doesn't quite work in a high school setting.
* MartialArtsHeadband: Ryu and Sakura, natch.
* MeanCharacterNiceActor: Anyone familiar with Juri knows she's an absolute bitch in canon, and here she's not much different, albeit trimmed somewhat for the high school setting the story's placed in. Her actress Jennifer Zhang, who's also the series' creator, once co-authored a book on childhood attention-deficit disorder (the same book Ibuki's reading in one scene) as outlined in [[http://buckonstuff.com/?p=1401 this interview]].
* MistakenForGay: Hakan gets this treatment from the other wrestlers in the cast when he offers some of his oil for them to use on themselves.
--> '''Hakan:''' What's the matter with you? This is the only way we wrestle in Turkey!
* MistakenForRacist: In ''The Musical'', Dan is rapping a song that includes the word "Oreo" just as Dudley and Cammy (black and white, respectively) are walking past; both immediately turn on him to give him a thrashing. [[note]]The word "Oreo" is used to describe a black person who is perceived as acting white; in other words, black on the outside but white on the inside, like the cookie.[[/note]]
* MythologyGag: This being a ''Street Fighter'' parody, it's to be expected. For example, in one scene a frustrated Ryu beats up a car, in a send-up of the bonus stage from the games where you have to destroy a car by beating on it.
* NarratorAllAlong: [[spoiler:Ken Masters, played by a different and skinnier actor who also provided the voice for Fat!Ken]].
* NoGuyWantsToBeChased: Especially if Juri Han is the chaser.
* PowerPerversionPotential: Discussed in the case of Dhalsim's RubberMan abilities.
--> '''Juri:''' They say you're really...''stretchy''.
--> '''Dhalsim:''' ''(uncertainly)'' Yeah...?
--> '''Juri:''' Is ''every'' part of you really stretchy?
--> '''Dhalsim:''' ''(even more uncertain)'' Yeah...
* OhCrap: Four instances in ''The Musical'': Bison has a moment when Justin Wong challenges him for the class presidency, Dhalsim has one [[spoiler:right before he's raped by Juri]], and Dan has TWO, the first when Dudley's about to beat him up [[MistakenForRacist for a perceived racist remark]], and the second during the end credits [[spoiler:when his Gadouken attack doesn't go far enough to hit Sakura during their fight]].
* RecordNeedleScratch: When Guile shows up in ''The Musical'', his familiar stage-theme starts playing...then this trope comes into effect [[spoiler:when it's revealed his hair is now black and very untidy]].
* RedheadsAreUncool: Apparently, this is why Blanka can't get any dates.
--> '''Blanka:''' No-one want go party with me!
--> '''Dhalsim:''' I hate to tell you this, man, but it's because you're a ginger. How many red-headed dudes do you know that score chicks?
** [[spoiler:Later subverted with Ibuki, who ''loves'' gingers]].
* TheRival: Ryu has a football rivalry with Ken instead of a martial arts rivalry. Unlike canon, however, the rivalry here is less than friendly.
* RomanticFalseLead: In ''Original'', Chun Li is in a relationship with military-minded Guile, but by ''The Musical'' they've broken up and she's started dating Ryu instead. We're never told what led to her breaking up with Guile, either.
* ShoutOut: Oh, so very many, mostly in the background musical pieces. As early examples, the theme for ''[[Series/BeverlyHills90210 90210]]'' plays at the beginning of ''Original'', as does the theme for ''Series/{{Smallville}}'' at one point later in the same video.
* StalkerWithACrush: Ryu hides behind trees to look at Chun Li...while Sakura does the same thing for ''him''.
* UnsettlingGenderReveal: A character-reaction example in ''The Musical''--in her boy-crazy state, Ibuki mistakes Makoto for male and glomps her as a result, and Makoto has to forcefully push her away and correct her.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Played with. Blanka's got green skin, spiky red hair and fangs and talks in HulkSpeak...but the only thing anybody really notices about him is [[RedheadsAreUncool the fact that his hair is red]].
