A Website/YouTube web series based on Franchise/TheSlenderManMythos, it follows three girls; Ellie, Avery, and Macy, who find themselves haunted and hunted after an experience involving a camera. In the ensuing episodes, dosed with heavy ParanoiaFuel, their friendships and sanity become more and more frayed, as it becomes clear that there is no real "escape". Even for the viewer, nothing is quite as it seems....

!! This series provides examples of:

* AlienGeometries: The girls flee from the Slender Man to a car and end up in an abandoned building and then next to a train in ''Two''. There are several more instances throughout the series, most notably in episode 27.
* AnachronicOrder: The videos jump around a bit in their timelines.
* AndYourLittleDogToo: Implied to be the next step of the Antibody Squad after their failed attack on Bowie in ''Thirty''. Avery says they will now go to his house, with the implication that they will attack and kill his family.
* AndYouThoughtItWasAGame: Macy asks if this is a prank in ''One'', and then jokingly threatens to punch everyone if it is.
* BandagedFace: Macy in the beginning of season two. It appears as though she has been in a car accident.
* TheBlank: Guess who.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: Ellie, Avery, and Macy... in that order.
* BreakTheCutie: This, children, is "BreakTheCutie: The Web Show".
* ComeWithMeIfYouWantToLive: Avery tells Bowie to come with her rather than attempt to return to his house after he is attacked in ''Thirty''.
* ConfessionCam: Ellie's parts of ''Eighteen''.
* DefeatEqualsFriendship: Implied with the Gas Masked Man, as he seems to be helping, and possibly protecting, the girls after their confrontation with him in ''Sixteen''.
* TheEndingChangesEverything: The first season ending ''[[WhamEpisode Eighteen]]'' is like a punch in the face in this regard. [[TheWoobie Poor Girls]]! [[spoiler:More like [[TakeThatAudience poor sucker on the internet]].]]
* TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou: [[spoiler:The characters at least [[InvokedTrope counted on this]]. As much we see it [[SubvertedTrope didn't work]].]]
* HauntedHeroine: In ''One'', Ellie leads her friends to a very interesting [[Franchise/TheSlenderManMythos ghost]] that has been bothering her.
* IncurableCoughofDeath: Macy and Chris.
* InformedAttribute: Macy states that Ellie constantly wears dark clothing and is surprised at the variety of color in her wardrobe when the girls all stay at Ellie's house. However, Ellie is most often shown wearing earthy tones and bright red glasses. In actuality, it is Avery who usually wears the darkest tones of the group.
* JumpCut: It's hard to tell whether it's edited in or if it's just His effect on the tapes, but either way this series is notorious for a copious amount of them.
* LaughingMad: [[spoiler:Ellie.]] {{Lampshaded}} in ''Nine'' when Avery tells [[spoiler:Ellie]] to stop laughing like that, as it creeps her out.
* MadeOfIron: Implied with [[spoiler:Bowie]] in ''Thirty''. The Antibody Squad attack with a metal baseball bat, which goes flying away after one of the Squad swings it at the camera.
* MalevolentMaskedMen: The recurring Gas Masked individual.
** Possibly {{Subverted}} in that once he is unmasked, he tries to offer them help.
** In Season Two there are several reoccurring instances of masked individuals; they seem quite malevolent.
* MamaBear: Macy is shown as one of the few characters in the Mythos to willingly run ''towards'' Slender Man when her sister is seemingly under his thrall.
** Gas Mask Man has Macy cornered and is raising his mallet to induce YourHeadAsplode. Avery's reply: she tackles, disarms, and unmasks him before backing him against the wall with her DeathGlare.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: The Antibody. [[spoiler:The man in the gas mask, if anyone is wondering.]]
* OffScreenTeleportation: Used by the Slender Man and the Gas Masked Man. The latter even used On Screen Teleportation to take the girls to a warehouse in ''Sixteen''.
* OnlySaneMan: Avery overall tends to be the most rational of the three.
* ARealManIsAKiller: The Antibody [[spoiler:tried so hard but failed so ''spectacularly''. He wasn't cold blooded enough to murder Avery in her sleep and in a fair fight the girls managed to overpower him.]]
* PrecisionFStrike: Bowie lets out an "Oh shit!" in ''Thirty'' when [[spoiler:the Slender Man morphs into a member of the Antibody Squad, complete with an On Screen Teleportation from the woods to an alleyway.]]
* SanitySlippage: Ellie. Macy shows signs, but her decent is slower.
* ScreamingWoman: Avery, once she finally sees the Slender Man in ''Two''.
** Ellie in ''Twenty Three'' when [[spoiler:she sees Slendy outside. And again when he appears in the hallway.]]
* ShoutOut: In ''Six'' the [[WebVideo/MarbleHornets Operator symbol]] is drawn on Avery's face [[spoiler:in blood,]] and since then has become a recurring theme within the show.
* ThereAreNoGirlsOnTheInternet: Averted. All three of the main characters are girls.
** Even with the cast almost doubling in the second season, the ratio remains 3-2 in favor of girls.
* TraumaSwing: All three of the heroines in ''Three''.
* UnreliableNarrator: In a Slenderseries this is more or less expected. [[spoiler:But Subverted. They told the story to the best of their knowledge. The ''why'' is the true reveal... which comes at the exact point in the story where ''they'' figure it out.]]
* VaderBreath: The mysterious masked man in ''Five''.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: Ellie seems to have this due to the distortion in ''Twenty Three''.
* WhamEpisode: ''Eighteen'' (Season one finale) [[spoiler:It has Ellie [[ConfessionCam monologuing to the camera like a madwoman]], that they made the series to give the Slender Man [[WeNeedADistraction more targets]], ''[[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou us]]''. She ''is'' really sorry, but better we than them.]]
** Also ''Twenty Nine'' when the WoundedGazelleGambit gets revealed.
* WoundedGazelleGambit: What [[spoiler:Macy]] pulled to get Bowie involved according to the DVD footage shown in ''Twenty Nine''.
