A reviewer out of Australia who hosts three main segments: ''Infamous Queer'', [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin obviously]], focuses on [[{{QueerAsTropes}} queer media]], be it good, bad, or [[{{ValuesDissonance}} uncomfortably archaic]]. ''Period Drama Drama'' examines {{Costume Drama}}s from narrative, historical, and design perspectives. Her third segment stars her alter ego, the Gender Hipster, an [[{{AmbiguousGender}} androgynous]], possibly genderqueer, SoapboxSadie who does shorter, much more blunt reviews specifically focused on characters who subvert or play with conventional gender roles, that is, when [[{{OddCouple}} ze isn't getting on Infamous Sphere's last nerve]]. Because most gender-bending movies and a surprising number of {{Costume Drama}}s actually have gay characters, the segments frequently overlap.

!!Tropes used and/or examined in ''Infamous Sphere Reviews'' include:

* AdaptationDistillation: Inverted with the 1983 TV version of ''Literature/JaneEyre'' starring Creator/TimothyDalton. Pretty much every scene from the book is kept, grinding it to a snail's pace.
* {{Bifauxnen}}: Gender Hipster in particular ''loves'' women in men's clothing.
* BrainBleach: literally has a bottle on standby during her ''Film/BenAndArthur'' review.
* ButNotTooGay: A frequent source of ire.
* TheCameo: WebVideo/DiamandaHagan has a couple.
** She was one of the five (non-Website/ChannelAwesome) reviewers to appear in [[WebVideo/DiamandaHagan Hagan]]'s 50th episode [[spoiler: as part of an assassination plot.]]
* CaptainErsatz: Parodied with "[[WebVideo/DiamandaHagan Diamanda Fakin']]" and "[[WebVideo/BrowsHeldHigh Fauxancitizen]]".
* CrosscastRole: Gender Hipster, although ze doesn't really have an "opposite" gender.
* DeadpanSnarker
* GeorgeJetsonJobSecurity: Gender Hipster was terminated from zir job for being too difficult to talk about in the third person.
* HollywoodAtheist: Defied. She states plainly that she has no problem with Religion so long as it doesn't harm anyone. She berates ''Film/BenAndArthur'' for its baffling depiction of Christianity.
* HonorBeforeReason: Her major problem with ''Film/{{Bent}}'' was that it was trying to present a GayAesop about [[BeYourself being true to your sexual identity]] when the characters could have been looking for a way to escape UsefulNotes/NaziGermany.
-->"The Holocaust is not the time for gay pride!"
* Creator/KeanuReeves: Her favorite [[SoBadItsGood "Bad"]] actor.
* LittlestCancerPatient: The long sequence from ''Film/WarHorse'' featuring the "precocious orphan girl who lives with her Grandfather like fucking Literature/{{Heidi}}" tries to add to the drama to the war narrative but ultimately goes nowhere.
-->"Apparently she's got some kind of serious disease like glass bones, TB or something, but it [[SoapOperaDisease doesn't seem to stop her from looking surprisingly healthy]]."
* MedalOfDishonor: "Heterosexual for 3 weeks!"
* NoBiologicalSex: The Gender Eliminator, an alien who wants to [[{{KnightTemplar}} conquer earth and eliminate all gender expression completely]].
* NoMrBondIExpectYouToDine: One scene in ''Film/BenAndArthur'' depicts the heroes and villains dining together, only eating one cracker each. Bad manners, even for a movie villain.
-->WebVideo/DiamandaHagan: ''I'' would have served croissants.
* PronounTrouble: Gender Hipster was fired because people at zir workplace got tired of saying "he or she" all the time.
* TheQueensLatin: A big pet peeve of hers. ''Film/{{Bent}}'' and ''Film/WarHorse'' in particular.
* RedOniBlueOni: Although they have similar reviewing styles, hers is more level-headed while Gender Hipster's tends to be more judgmental.
* RummageSaleReject: Gender hipster enjoys wearing a rainbow tutu with a tank top, flats, and, occasionally, a mustache.
* SceneryPorn: an entire musical Montage is dedicated to the art direction and scenery of ''Film/FarFromHeaven'', all be it with a WebVideo/TheyMadeMeWatchThis style text-rant.
* SharedUniverse: Because of the cameos, she's part of the Reviewaverse.
* ShownTheirWork: Episodes of ''Infamous Queer'' and ''Period Drama Drama'' typically come with history lessons for those unfamiliar with the context of the film.
