He refuses to call it ''DBZ TheAbridgedSeries'' because every other parody series calls itself "The Abridged Series" (just like [[WebVideo/DragonBallAbridged Team Four Star's series]]). Unlike ''[[WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries Yu-Gi-Oh!]]'' and ''[[WebVideo/NarutoTheAbridgedSeries Naruto Abridged]]'', Gozar separates the story into different situations. However it begins to take a turn like ''Anime/YuGiOh'' and ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' with doing it like a series. Similar to the other two, it mocks certain aspects of the storyline, the characters and even some lines from the original dub. However, this series is on par with ''WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries'' and ''[[WebVideo/NarutoTheAbridgedSeries Naruto Abridged]]''.
