''Perfect Kirby'' is an internet flash series that is somewhat of a crossover between ''VideoGame/PerfectDark'' and ''Franchise/{{Kirby}}''. Kirby is a vigilante, and one night, receives a mysterious phone call and is taken by force to become a secret agent for an organization known as The Institute. He thus gets involved in crazy schemes such as Xboxes being smuggled into England, kidnapped Aliens in Area 52, and saving the president in Alaska.

There are many cameos from video game characters and some surreal humor. The series is a three part epic made from 2002 to 2003, alongside a few bonus episodes produced following Episode 3. The series can be viewed on Platform/{{Newgrounds}}, on [[https://pikanjo.newgrounds.com/movies the creator's profile]].
----
!!This series provides examples of:
* TheAce: Ian the Penguin, Kirby's new partner introduced in Episode 3.1.
* AntiHero: Kirby is Type V; while he is ultiamtely on the side of good, he is a complete ''nutjob'' who relies on violence and gun use as a primary approach to everything.
* ArtEvolution: Compare the animation and art from Episode 1 to Episodes 2 and 3. It gets better over time.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: From episode 1.2:
-->'''Kirby:''' (''noticing a large object under a blanket in Bill's apartment'') Ohp- Bill must've got me a birthday present! (''removes the sheet to reveal the object as being a pile of packaged Xboxes'')Just a bunch of boxes. Wait a minute - Bill, Xboxes, England, waffles, Xboxes, Bill, Bill, Xboxes, England, SMUGGLING... Oh my God! '''''OH MY GOD!''''' A penny!
** However, he does realize what's going on the next second.
* BigBadFriend: Defied with Bill, Kirby's next door neighbor and the BigBad in Episode 1. When Kirby confronts him, he insists that they're friends, but Kirby points out that they've known each other for ''two weeks'', and he indicates that he finds Bill an annoyance.
* BigNo: Bill when being hauled off.
* BigWhat: Kirby's reaction to [[spoiler:Joanna and Ian sitting together during movie night at the end of Episode 3.3]].
* ButtMonkey:
** Neil, the head of the institute, is the "prime target for cheap jokes" as said in the post-3.3 cast lineup.
** Co-creator John Zirbes, who makes recurring cameo apperances and gets killed off every time.
--->"I'm glad I got to be a pilot in this movie. This will be my big chance to finally show everyone I [[KilledMidSentence can]]-" ''([[DroppedABridgeOnHim gets hit in the head with a stray bullet]])
* TheCameo:
** The harem of girls that surround Kirby following the defeat of Spanish Godzilla include [[Franchise/SuperMario Princess Peach]], [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII Tifa Lockhart]], [[Anime/PokemonTheOriginalSeries Misty, Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy]], [[Franchise/TombRaider Lara Croft]], and [[Franchise/ResidentEvil Jill Valentine]].
** VideoGame/{{Pico}} appears briefly in the bonus outtakes of 3.3.
* CatchAFallingStar: [[spoiler:Mario catches all the heroes as they fall out of Air Force One]].
* ChickMagnet: Ian is this, much to Kirby's chagrin.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Roy fires Professor Oblivion because the coffee he serves him at the beginning of Episode 3.1 is "bland and cherry-flavored" (it turned out to be Kool-Aid). [[spoiler: In 3.3, he's revealed to be the BigBad, who wants to take over the world so that he can use his new power solely to rid of Oblivion and his coffee.]]
* EvilIsPetty: Roy, the BigBad of Episode 3. His plan involves obtaining a blood sample from then-President George W. Bush, extract a rare "funky" gene that can create controllable replicas of said person Bush has in his blood, put the cloned Bush in office, have it put him in charge of the nation's military agencies, conquer every nation of Earth, and use his new position as undisputed ruler of the world to get rid of Professor Oblivion, all because the professor accidentally gave him cherry Kool-Aid instead of coffee. Kirby outright calls his plot the stupidest motivation for world domination he's ever heard.
* FailedASpotCheck: For how often Kirby has likely been in the cafeteria, he seems to have done this involving one of the workers there.
-->'''Kirby''': Wait, wait. There are ''aliens''?\
'''Neil''': Of course there are aliens. '''You're''' an alien.\
'''Kirby''': Oh, I knew they existed. I just didn't know they worked for us.\
'''Neil''': (''confused'') What're you talking about? There's lots of aliens that work here. There's one working in the cafeteria.\
(''cut to Phil in the cafeteria, talking to a giant, multi-tentacled alien'')\
'''Phil''': Yeah... I'll have the... double bacon Swiss mega meal.\
'''Alien''': (''reading from a copy of "Human Language for Dummies"'') Yer a gangster. Yer so hippin' jippin' in yer mouthwash. Super cowabunga tasty paste.\
'''Phil''': ([[StunnedSilence "What the heck" face]])
* FatIdiot: Lenny, based off the character of the same name from ''Mice and Men.''
* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: [[Franchise/{{Metroid}} Ridley and some space pirates]] invade the plane Kirby and Ian infiltrate in Episode 3.2. Per tradition, Samus jumps on and assists the duo until Kirby inhales her and copies her suit's powers, forcing her into fighting guards bare-handed as Zero Suit Samus.
* GoodAllAlong: Professor Oblivion is thought to be the BigBad of Part III, but it turns out that he's trying to thwart Roy's evil scheme.
* HeroicComedicSociopath: Kirby.
* HilariousOuttakes: Many, from a mishap with a wire to Roy saying that he "[[FreudianSlip fried]]" Oblivion.
** There's another one in where the man subjected to the test of the Hippin' Jippin' Gene/Kool-Aid gas is spared instead of killed, and starts rejoicing. Kirby, without even leaving his seat, puts a bullet in the guy's head.
--> '''Kirby''': Well '''''someone''''' had to ''shut him up''!
** Kirby had some "alternate reactions" to Professor $1.99's lab being a mess.
--> '''Kirby''': Jeez, what a mess! Look's like Neil's last date. Jeez, what a mess! How stoned ''were'' you, Neil? Or, uh... Jeez, what a mess! Uhhhhhh..........'''NEIL SUCKS!''' (offscreen laughter)
** Professor $1.99 accidentally calling his Kool-Aid ''triple'' cherry.
--> '''Offscreen Voice''': It's ''Double'' Cherry.\
'''Professor $1.99''': What?! ''Double'' Cherry?! (''glances at script'') Who the hell wrote '''that?!'''
** Kirby discovers that the briefcase full of gadgets is filled with muffins.
--> '''Kirby''': Ooh! A muffin! (begins stuffing his face with muffins; Neil walks on set; with his mouth full) There's no more! Neil! These aren't for you, you ball of fat! AAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!
** And of course, there's this one. It may not have even been in the actual episode.
--> '''Kirby''': Hey, Neil! What do you call a washed up jerk who can't get a date?!\
'''Neil''': What the? That's not your line, Kirby!\
'''Kirby''': Ya call him '''Neil!'''
* LaserHallway: Some laser sensors protect one objective in the Alaska air force base. Ian gets by them easily, but Kirby blunders right into them.
* LudicrousGibs: Ridley's brief appearance at the end of Part 3.2. Kirby takes him out in one shot, causing his guts to erupt everywhere- even on Kirby himself. Good thing he was wearing the Varia Suit.
* MadeOfPlasticine: People bleed a lot, and sometimes get liquefied, when they get hit by gunfire.
* MsFanservice:
** Joanna, though not much since she's given very little screen time.
** Zero Suit Samus in Episode 3.2, after Kirby copies her Varia Suit and leaves her to fend off some guards in a bikini.
* MundaneUtility: Kirby's inhale and [[PowerCopying power-copying]] abilities are seldom-used and if they are, are usually only used to obtain disguises and not copy the powers of his enemies. Justified since he's in a world where the inhabitants are normal human beings that wouldn't bestow some kind of special power onto Kirby.
* NoodleIncident: When getting his first phone call from Neill, Kirby insists that if he's calling about his TV, "the old lady was dead when (he) got there." There's also how Ian knows President Bush.
* OnlySaneMan: Kirby in episodes one and two (though he shares this role with Neil in the former); Ian in episode three.
* OrphanedSeries: The Perfect Kirby 4 progress bar has been at 50% completion for the last ten years.
* PaperThinDisguise: In a flashback in Episode 3.1, Kirby and Joanna Dark were seen attending a villains' conference led by King Dedede, and Kirby's only disguise was Luigi's hat. It fell off and everyone immediately identified him.
* RedHerring: The Hippin' Jippin' Gene from Episode 3 creates a lethal gas when combined with Professor $1.99's experimental Double Cherry Kool-Aid formula, and after seeing surveillance footage of Professor Oblivion stealing the formula and discovering that he had apparently researched the gene on $1.99's computer, everyone assumed that he was planning to use this gas to terrorize the world's populace as revenge for being fired. It turns out ''Roy'' looked up the information as part of his own plan to take over the world, since the gene creates clones that are easily manipulated, such as then President of the US, George W. Bush.
-->'''Kirby''': So you didn't know that when the Hippin' Jippin' gene and the Double Cherry Kool-Aid are combined it creates a deadly gas?\
'''Oblivion''': I had no idea.\
'''Roy''': Me either.\
'''Kirby''': Huh. I guess that whole deadly gas discovery was just a coincidence.
** Though when Ian "asks" why Oblivion still took the Kool-Aid formula after discovering that the gas was a coincidence, Oblivion states that Roy hates cherry flavored things, so he used the formula to create Roy's worst fear... ''the Kool-Aid Man!''
--->'''Kool-Aid Man''' (bursts through wall) Oh Yeeeeaaaahhh!\
'''Roy''': Noooooooooooo!\
'''Kirby''': '''HO!''' I did ''not'' see ''that'' comin'!
* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: While Kirby's out on missions, nearly getting killed and finding out secrets, people at The Institute are sitting around, playing board games or doing something else. Part of it is most of them aren't agents, but have adminsitrative dutites (Mario is a chef, Neil oversees the operation, Phil is in charge of combat training, Professor $1.99 is a scientist, etc. Not to mention, any agents (besides Johanna and Ian) have met grisly ends.
* StupidestThingIveEverHeard: Kirby says that Roy's vendetta against Oblivion for making bad coffee is the stupidest reason for world domination that he's ever heard.
* StylisticSuck: During Episode 1.3, Kirby accidentally kills the animator, but he's not worried -- the management will cover for him. At that moment, Kirby turns horribly drawn. After ''one'' shot of Kirby kicking another poorly drawn {{mook}}, he declares that he can't take it any longer, and proceeds to revive the animator.
* TriggerHappy: Kirby, before his induction into the Institute. Kirby was nabbing crooks nonlethally. But once he had a gun, it became the only way to solve ANY problem.
* TookALevelInDumbass: In the first part of the first episode, Kirby is moderately normal, even presented as an OnlySaneMan. The very next part, however, he instantly becomes more of a {{Cloudcuckoolander}}, with just his very first two lines:
-->'''Kirby''': You call [the Institute's base] secret? I've been here lots of times...they have great hamburgers!\
'''Neil''': No, no, no. There's a secret sub-level in the building.\
'''Kirby''': (''nonchalant'') Oh. (''realization hits'') '''OH!''' Gotcha!\
'''Neil''': We have arrived. (''is let in'')\
'''Kirby''': (''sees himself on the base's monitors'') Hey Neil, look at me! I'm on television! (''appearing to throw up peace signs''} [[UsefulNotes/RichardNixon I am not a crook!]]\
'''Neil''': Kirby! Stop it!\
'''Kirby''': Sorry.
* WhamLine: Episode 3. Roy shows up unexpectedly on Air Force One, and Kirby then recaps Professor Oblivion's EvilPlan to him. Roy then does a DramaticGunCock and says this line, saying that he's the real villain.
-->'''Roy''': Then you know too much!
* WhatMeasureIsAMook: Kirby and Ian kill many of the guards on board Air Force One. In the actual ''Perfect Dark'' mission, you fail the mission if you kill any of them.
* WhatTheHellHero: Kirby gets called out for almost getting himself and Joanna killed on one mission when he blows their cover going for food. Kirby points out the argument only happened because Joanna tried to keep him from getting something from the buffet (their spat) and her attempt to stop Kirby revealed his disguise.
