->Cat Face. He's got a big cat face. He's got the body of a cat and the face of a cat. And he flies through the air 'cause he's got a cat face. Cat Face!

''Cat Face'' is a series of funny animated shorts starring a strange, floating, talking cat named Cat Face who gets into various misadventures in his neighborhood, together with his housemates Old Lady and Box Cat. Later episodes include one of Box Cat's offspring, Tiny. Made by Jonti "[[WebAnimation/WeeblAndBob Weebl]]" Picking, the episodes are on [[http://www.weebls-stuff.com/ Weebl's Stuff.com]] and the Cat Face [[https://www.youtube.com/user/BigCatFace YouTube channel]].

!!''Cat Face'' provides examples of:

* AndKnowingIsHalfTheBattle: Each episode ends with Cat Face giving some bit of advice to the "kids" watching the show, which is played for laughs because his tips never have anything to do with what happened in the episode.
* AnimalFacialHair: Posh Tom has fur which resembles a moustache.
* AnimalsFearNeutering: Cat Face tries to have Box Cat neutered after the latter ends up getting every female cat in the neighborhood pregnant. Box Cat manages to avoid this, however, and tricks Cat Face into getting ''Gordon Ramsay'' neutered instead.
* AnotherDimension: Cat Face has a cat flap leading to one. His counterpart there is named Facecat.
* ArtShift: "Cat Banana", Tiny's animation in "Movie Moggy", was drawn in crayon.
* BlankWhiteEyes: Cat Face gets these whenever he's surprised or shocked by something.
* BlatantLies: The dog in the dating video:
-->'''Dog''': Hello, I am a ''cat'', I like doing ''cat things'', turnoffs are dogs and ''walkies'', I do not find cats at all delicious, if you would like to be my dinner- [[VerbalBackspace er, join me for dinner,]] I will ''not eat you''.
* BrickJoke: In one episode, the shopkeeper of the DIY shop [[SpontaneousHumanCombustion spontaneously combusts]]. Two episodes later, the shop is still on fire.
* BuffySpeak: Cat Face often struggles to find the right words for things. For example, he refers to fireworks as "explodey-whizzy-bangs" at one point.
* CameraAbuse: In "Spying Tonight", Posh Tom tips over Cat Face's garbage bin which splatters some garbage on the camera lens, and we see someone wiping it off with a rag. This leads Cat Face to notice he is being filmed.
* CatchPhrase:
** Cat face has "Trust me, I'm a cat!" and "I don't know, I'm a cat!"
** Posh Tom has "'''Rooooooting''' through your '''garbage'''!
* CensorBox:
** Along with {{Sound Effect Bleep}}, whenever Gordon starts cursing, a bar covers his mouth filled with words related to what he's saying ("something about your mother" or "sexual slur involving a dog") and sometimes not ("Hello") - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idqunLHJ-Q0&feature=related
** Played for laughs as well in "Spying Tonight", in which the television feed of a nature program spying on Cat Face while he showers includes a censor bar over where his private parts would be, despite him being a cat who has no external genitals to be seen and whose nakedness has never been considered indecent by other people.
* CloudCuckooLander: Cat Face has some strange misimpressions about how the world works, and sometimes you don't know what the heck he's talking about:
--> '''Cat Face:''' There is no ash flavored with fish in here. There is no pulpy wood products that smell like beef. What is this? This is no good for me. I must go to the shops, yes.
* CuteKitten: Tiny.
* DejaVu: After Cat Face [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtzTDs2ziv0 sees Tiny's animation, "Cat Banana",]] it seems a bit familiar to him.
* DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment: "He's got the body of a cat and the face of a cat."
* ExpositoryThemeTune: Parodied. The theme song certainly ''feels'' like one of these, but it doesn't give any information that isn't immediately obvious by just looking at Cat Face.
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=796rjD7IX9M Cat Face. He's got a big cat's face. He's got the body of a cat and the face of a cat. And he flies through the air 'cause he's got a cat face. Cat Face!]]"
* ExpressiveShirt: More like expressive BOX for Boxcat, who is never actually shown except for the box he's in. In one episode, his box sags when he becomes depressed.
* TheFaceless: Boxcat, who lives inside a cardboard box and never comes out. So far, the only parts of him that have been shown are his legs and tufts of grey fur.
* {{Fainting}}: When he insults Cat Face's cooking, Gordon Ramsey swears so much he collapses.
* FanDisservice: During the first Halloween special, Old Lady dressed up as Princess Leia... in the slave bikini. There's also that one time where she took off her bath towel, letting the audience see her saggy butt, and forcing Cat Face who saw her in full frontal nudity to reach for the BrainBleach.
* FatalFireworks: In "Bonfire Night", Facecat sneaks out on Guy Fawkes Night and gets scared back in by the fireworks. Cat Face and Boxcat were holed up in the house because they were scared of the fireworks (Cat Face actually boarded up the windows for it). At the end of the episode, we find out Cat Face was actually burned by a discarded sparkler as a kitten.
* GratuitousFrench: Cat Face talks in a ridiculous French accent.
* GreenAesop: Cat Face sometimes gives these at the end of an episode, despite his advice having nothing to do with the episode in question.
* HighOnCatnip: DoubleSubverted. Cat Face rubs himself against some catnip, following with a close-up of his dilating eyes and psychedelic music, implying he's going on a trip. Then it automatically zooms out and Cat Face tells Boxcat to stop playing the "crappy music". After yelling at his friend, Cat Face flies up and purrs until he runs into a lit lightbulb.
* HoYay: Invoked, as Cat Face tells Boxcat Cat Face is not his "man-wife" before admitting he is sometimes.
* IntelligibleUnintelligible: Cat Face is able to perfectly understand everything Boxcat says despite the box mumbling his dialogue.
* LargeHam: Posh Tom.
* LethalChef: In "Hell's Kitchen", Cat Face is making a pot of mishmash on the stove which is obviously producing black smoke, and Gordon Ramsay says it looks like something the proverbial cat threw up.
* LowerClassLout: The urban fox.
* MindScrew: The entire series of shorts runs on RuleOfFunny rather than haing a story that makes any kind of sense.
* MyBrainIsBig: Cat Face's head is disproportionately larger than his small swaying body, which may also allow him to float off the ground. Not that he appears to have any brains (or at the least common sense) to back it up.
* NeverMessWithGranny: The Old Lady takes appropriate action when Cat Face is kidnapped by a CrazyCatLady.
* NightmareFace: Facecat. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlVgoAis0r0 So much.]]
* TheNoseless: None of the shopkeepers have noses.
* PaperThinDisguise: During a stakeout, Boxcat wears a box with a crudely-drawn bush on the side, and the words "[[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial Not a cat in a box]]" written on the front. Also, an infrequent recurring character is a spotted dog who dresses in various disguises to try to catch a cat to eat.
* ReallyGetsAround: Boxcat has multiple offspring. At one point, Catface tried to get him neutered.
* TheReveal: "Movie Moggy" starts with Cat Face coaxing one of Boxcat's kittens out of its box, revealing Tiny to be [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter insufferably cute]].
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Tiny the cat, Boxcat's youngest kitten.
* SelfInducedAllergicReaction: What happens when Boxcat [[ItMakesSenseInContext provokes a wasp, even though he's allergic]].
--> '''Cat Face:''' Okay, I will get the adrenaline, honestly.
* ShoutOut: ComicBook/TheSnowman appears in an episode.
* SirSwearsALot: Gordon Ramsay curses like a sailor every minute he's onscreen, PlayedForLaughs as all his swearing is bleeped out.
* SoundEffectBleep: Every time Gordon Ramsey yells out a curse, it's replaced by a bleep.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Is it spelt Cat face or Catface?
* SpontaneousHumanCombustion: In one episode, a shopkeeper suddenly catches fire while talking to Cat Face. [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight Cat Face doesn't seem to notice.]]
* TalkingInYourSleep: The nature documentary catches Catface talking in his slumber while he's in bed.
* ToiletHumour: Pops up occasionally, such as in [[http://www.weebls-stuff.com/catface/Cat+Face+10/ episode 10]].
--> '''Cat Face:''' We are not playing "Poo Jenga" now!
* TrillingRs: Posh Tom speaks with trilling "r"s, a contrast between his upper-crust sounding speech and his habit of rooting through the garbage.
* TrustMeImAnX: Cat Face often gives dubious advice while reassuring the viewer with his unofficial CatchPhrase, "Trust me, I'm a cat!"
* TheUnintelligible: Boxcat communicates in nothing but indistinct meowling, in contrast to Cat Face who speaks English and can be understood by humans.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: Nobody bats an eyelid at the talking cat with a giant head floating down the street.
* VerbalTic: Cat Face tends to end a lot of his sentences with "yes".
* VeryLooselyBasedOnATrueStory: According to the creator on "Weebl's Stuff", http://www.weebls-stuff.com/catface/Cat+Face/, it's based on true events. It's unclear whether he's being sarcastic or not, though.
* VisualPun: When Cat Face has some catnip, he floats towards the ceiling, literally becoming high.
* VomitIndiscretionShot: Cat Face explains to Gordon Ramsey that he eats grass so he can vomit up hairballs, before doing just that.
* WeirdCurrency: Cat Face seems to be under the impression that he can pay for things with dead animals, which the shopkeeper in the Pet Shop isn't very happy about. She gets back at him by selling him bouncy cat litter.
* WildlifeCommentarySpoof: At one point, a nature programme called 'Cat Spy: In The Suburbs' is made about Cat Face, which is commentated in this way.

SILLY CAT FACE!
