While it isn't canon to ''The Last Spartan'', that iteration is shown in the post-''Halo 3'' canon to be very successful, producing the superhuman Spartan-[=IV=]s who approach the physical stats of the Spartan-[=II=]s. In this kind of context, where super soldier augmentation of some description is within reach by individuals with considerable capital, the idea of creating a "super baby" that represents the physical and genetic "peak" is a totally different proposition.
