Of course, to avoid unwanted attention, the Bots have to hide the fact that they're robots -- hence Tom Servo masquerading as Kevin Murphy and Crow pretending to be Bill Corbett.

4	* They're [[Franchise/{{Transformers}} using Pretender shells to appear human]], so they riff on the ''Transformers'' films to distract from it.
5	* Cambot is Disembaudio. Now he gets to make some riffs.

One popular theory for the 2017 season onward is that the bots that Jonah knows are different but identical to the bots that were with Mike and Joel, most likely that Kinga had copies of the original bots made to go with the new Satellite of Love. So if these theories are correct, that means there are 2 sets of Crow, Tom Servo, Gypsy and Cambot out there, the ones that knew Mike and Joel are on Earth, and the other in space with Jonah.
