Comparing the movesets, the differences are that Ghetsis' Hydreigon has Focus Blast and Fire Blast, while Iris' Hydreigon (initially) has Flamethrower and Charge Beam, both can be taught by TM. |

Simple; [[BullyingADragon he did but Kyurem was too much to handle]]. Ghetsis is almost never seen with his left arm visible, and about the only time we do it's discolored. Concept art shows the eye under the eyepiece is surrounded by a scar without a brow. Perhaps these injuries were caused by him trying and failing to control Kyurem, and it's only with Colress' help that he succeeds a second time. |
