[[WMG: Mr. Hammer, Spikey Tom, and Spikey John are traitors to the Koopa Troop.]]
That quiz show seemed a little ''too'' helpful. Not only does it provide Peach and the player with information on the next Star Spirit, but Mr. Hammer gives you a super-special item perfect for sneaking around just for '''participating''', tells you how to use it, and makes a point to specifically tell you ''not'' to use it to go sneaking around. So, basically, he gives you information, ideas on how to get more, and the means to do so. Doesn't he come off a bit obvious? Mr. Hammer is secretly on Mario's side and is playing his part in sabotaging his de jure king.

[[WMG:Merlon actually explained the Ancients to Mario in the first ''Paper Mario'' game.]]
Mario, of course, wasn't able to recognize its significance and fell asleep.

[[WMG:The story of Merlon's ancestor actually involves time travel.]]
While the story starts in third person, as Mario is spacing out Merlon has switched to first person. Obviously, the story involves him encountering his own ancestors in their timeframes.

[[WMG:Jr. Troopa in the first ''Paper Mario'' becomes Bowser Junior after this game.]]
He both looks and acts like Junior and appeared exactly one year before ''Super Mario Sunshine''. My guess is that after Paper Mario, Bowser found him and adopted him as his own son. At any rate, even if he isn't, he certainly seems to be a precursor to Junior.

[[WMG:The Village Leader from the first ''Paper Mario'' is Yoshi from the original ''Yoshi's Island''.]]
Yoshi probably got tired of adventuring as he aged and moved to Lavalava, where had been with his buddy Brown Yoshi as a kid and caused trouble, and eventually became their chief.
* Very likely, as he says he met Raphael the Raven once, long ago.

[[WMG:The Peach & Twink duo was the inspiration for [[VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy Rosalina & the Lumas]].]]
A blonde princess teams up with a little star to help Mario on his quest while they're stuck in space? Sounds like what Rosalina does in the first VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy game. It may just be a coincidence, though.

[[WMG:Lady Bow is King Boo's daughter.]]
However, she refused to take part in her father's evil schemes and rebelled.

[[WMG:The Koopa Bros. originally had a fifth member, a Blue Ninjakoopa.]]
The original FiveManBand was composed of a group of teenagers who yearned for adventure and trained to fight so that they could face whatever perils they'd face in the world. But when the likes of Kammy Koopa began corrupting the Koopa Bros, Blue Koopa was quick to pick up on all the red flags and rejected the direction his team was going in, quitting in disgrace and returning to Koopa Village. Blue would remain there, still dreaming of adventuring like the old Koopa who originally inspired his dreams until the fuzzy invasion. Blue Koopa would get his wish to go out and adventure as a result when the visiting Mario helped him reclaim his shell from the fuzzies, and the first thing they did on their adventure was confront his old gang. None of the Koopa Bros, old and current, liked to talk about it, however, so it never got brought up. (In case it wasn't obvious by this point, yes, this is about [[CanonCharacterAllAlong Kooper]].)

[[WMG: The Crystal King is a Duplighost.]]
He appears to be a BedsheetGhost like them, except he traded his sheet for a robe. He's a Duplighost that either found a magic crown that gave him ice powers, or Bowser boosted his powers with the Star Rod similar to other bosses. He doesn't bother to transform because he's more powerful in his true form.

[[WMG:Save Blocks, from an in-universe perspective, cause premonitions.]]
If a person hits a Save Block, they see themselves continuing on with their adventure from there until they make a fatal mistake and pay the price. Sometimes, they may see multiple examples of this in sequential order. That way they can avoid what it was that would've killed them. You know when you're playing the game and you die and have to start over form the last save point? That's all in Mario's head. And that's why they call it a Save Block; they save you from getting yourself killed.

[[WMG: Shigeru Miyamoto will be less involved with the next ''Paper Mario'' game.]]
He ''was'' more or less the one responsible for at least some of the issues in ''Sticker Star'' (i.e. lack of story, characterization, oversimplified battle system).

[[WMG:Kamek makes some appearance in each of the first three ''Paper Mario'' games]]
* In ''VideoGame/PaperMario'' he is either the Magikoopa who follows Twink and attempts to ambush Mario at the end of the prologue chapter.
** Alternatively he is the Magikoopa who guards the switch in Bowser's Castle and commands the three Koopatrols.
* In ''VideoGame/PaperMarioTheThousandYearDoor'' he is the Magikoopa who reports to Kammy Koopa that Princess Peach was captured by the X-Nauts.
* In ''VideoGame/SuperPaperMario'' he is the Magikoopa who stands at Bowser's side when he and his army prepare to invade Peach's Castle.

[[WMG:Creator/IntelligentSystems, [[CreatorBacklash themselves]], [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone hate the modern Paper Mario games.]]]]
* They're fully aware [[BrokenBase how irreconcilable the fanbase has become]] [[TheyChangedItNowItSucks after all the changes they made to the series' formula]], and just want to go back to the series' roots to make the best Paper Mario game they can that would satisfy all the fans. However, [[ExecutiveMeddling because of the guidelines the higher ups at]] Creator/{{Nintendo}} [[ExecutiveMeddling force them to follow]], they simply can't. The fact that they're willing to put a Microgame based on ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses'' in ''[[VideoGame/WarioWare WarioWare: Get It Together!]]'', but not one based on ''[[VideoGame/PaperMarioTheOrigamiKing Origami King]]'' speaks volumes.

[[WMG:Nintendo's "no original characters" policy will be abolished after a revolt from Intelligent Games.]]
* When Nintendo will ask them to make a new game, they'll refuse to do it unless they're allowed to bring back the original characters. Wishful thinking, maybe, but a man can dream.
** If Nintendo ends up firing them instead of giving in to their demands, they will eventually receive LaserGuidedKarma through other third parties choosing to quit.

[[WMG:The seventh ''Paper Mario'' game will return to its original style of gameplay]]
* A reason why Nintendo had modern ''Paper Mario'' games distance themselves from the RPG formula and original characters was because they already had a Mario-based RPG series in ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigi''. However, the company that made said games went bankrupt in 2019, resulting in Mario not having his own distinct RPG series anymore thanks to ''Paper Mario'''s new approach. Even the series producer stated that they were unsure how the next game would be. Because of this, Nintendo could ease upon their current guidelines for ''Paper Mario'' to allow the series to return to being a story-driven RPG series with original characters, all so the series could fill the void that ''Mario and Luigi'' left behind.
** Except now, Nintendo's making ''Mario + Rabbids'' games with Creator/{{Ubisoft}}, which are [=RPGs=]. And it's easy to make original characters, because they can just modify existing Rabbid characters. And that doesn't break the mandates because the Rabbids are not owned by Nintendo. So, Nintendo might just keep ''Paper Mario'' going at the way it's at, since ''Mario + Rabbids'' fills the RPG void in their eyes.
** [[ExactWords Technically confirmed]]; the "seventh" ''Paper Mario'' game is a remake of ''The Thousand Year Door''.

[[WMG:The (actual) seventh game will be a collide of the previous six games or something like that]]
Like, the partners could be:
** 1. Goombario
** 2. Koops
** 3. O'Chunks (or Mimi)
** 4. Bowser Jr. (or Jr Troopa)
** 5. a new character whose is the child of Misstar and Muskular (probably, idk who'll be their father)
** 6. one of the Koopalings
** 7. Lord Crump
*** Personally, I doubt they'd pick Crump over an actual partner, so I'd give this slot to someone like Vivian.
** 8. Luigi (cuz why not?)
(this is a WIP, if you want to continue this entry by yourself, it's more then ok!)
