[[WMG:Acmetropolis is [[WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures Acme Acres]], and by extension, Earth.]]
Some time [[TwentyMinutesIntoTheFuture in the future]], the Acme Corporation became a government-controlling MegaCorp, and expanded Acme Acres until by 2772 it became a planet-wide city.

[[WMG:This series is a StealthParody of both WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes and action series in general that was never meant to be taken seriously.]]
Everything about the show itself supports this.
* Agreed. The show was originally billed as an action-comedy.
** just because it's an action-comedy doesn't mean it's a StealthParody.
*** It ain't just that; it's how bland and generic the whole thing is.
*** If we're counting ''everything'' we should also count how they were probably scrambling to salvage the show while trying to meet the original's deadline, and didn't have the time/resources to develop it as fully as they could've.

[[WMG:Descendants of the characters from ''WesternAnimation/TinyToons'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Histeria}}'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Freakazoid}}'', and ''WesternAnimation/RoadRovers'' also live in this world.]]
Since it was established that the characters from all these shows lived in the same world as the ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'' characters, no doubt ''their'' descendants also exist in the same time period as the Loonatics.
* As an extension of this Lexi is descended from Buster and Babs while Ace is descended from Bugs and Lola.
* Writing a FanFic with a semi-serious Freak, BRB.
* Adding to this, at least one descendant of a Hysteria character has TimeTravel powers.

[[WMG:''WesternAnimation/DuckDodgers'' takes place within the same universe.]]
This troper has noticed a lot of {{Mythology Gag}}s with both shows. Such as the setting in space, the crime fighting organisations and the Planet Blanc.
It's possible that Loonatics Unleased takes place many years afterwards.
* Extending this, Danger Duck is a descendant of Duck Dodgers (and possibly Tyr'hanee, too).
** Not sure how likely that is, what with the ties to Green Lantern mythology in "The Green Loontern." The Green Lanterns operate out of the planet at the center of the universe, and a different planet at the center of the universe is a big plot element in the second season of ''LU''.

[[WMG: The powers the heroes gained were simply inactive before the meteor.]]
Because Slam, Tech, and Rev have the same powers as their ancestors. Danger Duck too, since Daffy had been shown to disappear behind an object and reappear elsewhere. Somewhere along the line they lost those capabilities, but got them back through the meteor strike.

[[WMG: Rev's MotorMouth tendency is directly linked to whether he's got superpowers or is BroughtDownToNormal at the given moment]]
* This would explain why he speed-talks while power-swapped but has standard speech when his powers are completely removed.

[[WMG: Duck was bullied by a rabbit or group of rabbits at some point in his past who were all [[SpoiledBrat Spoiled Brats]] capable of saying ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney.]]
* And as such, he deeply resents Ace for resembling individuals who made him miserable and got away with it. It doesn't help that the rest of the team follows Ace's lead in picking on Duck whether or not he deserves it.

[[WMG: Alternately, in the future shown in the show, there are extreme prejudices against ducks that go beyond the FantasticRacism we see exercised against anthros in general.]]
* And so they're believed by anthros who aren't ducks to make themselves feel more important. While the rest of the team doesn't embrace these beliefs, their mistreatment of Duck feels like the prejudices he's faced his entire life and he lashes out in frustration.
[[WMG: The show not only exists in the Looney Tunes universe...]]
* It was made behind the classic characters' backs. The executives at the time "decided" that they (the classic characters) weren't "connecting" with the audience (as the executives see them), and that as a result, the classic characters just weren't good enough an anymore. However, knowing the characters wouldn't approve of it, the executives decided to make this project in secret...or so they thought. The characters did find out, but knew deep down what the good people really wanted, so they decided wait and see what happens, and from there we have the rest of the story.
** Moreover, also in-universe, the show has a [[OurLawyersAdvisedThisTrope disclaimer]] stating that "Bugs Bunny and his associates were not involved in the creation of this program. Warner Bros. Animation is solely responsible for its content", or something to that effect.

[[WMG: The show is a DolledUpInstallment that wasn't originally going to be about the Loonatics at all.]]
* The first season of the show is almost completely divorced from rest of the ''Looney Tunes'' franchise, with the Loonatics themselves feeling out of place in a world that doesn't match their aesthetic. Additionally, any references to the classic shorts are few and feel like they were forced into the script. Considering this, it's not entirely outside the realm of possibility that the show was first conceived as a completely original project but had the ''Looney Tunes'' branding forced onto it by network executives.
** The fact that due to the rushed production (see above) of this series it ended up as, well, this, might help this theory. Adding on to this...

[[WMG: Originally, the show was meant to be a DC cartoon.]]
* The art-style for the background characters don't mesh with the Looney Tunes' themselves at all. If the background characters were in an old Batman or Superman cartoon they would feel much more at home. Because Warner Bros. thought that the show was too similar to WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond (back then it would've been a recent cartoon to 6 years) they had the characters replaced.
