4	* It seems more likely they take on new identities after having robbed a bank and being on the run.

8	ExtremeOmnivore tendencies? A violent streak a mile long? Sounds to me the two may be related. Not even Vyvyan's own mum knows who his father is -- it could work. The fact that they both have flatmates named Richard (Rick/Richie) who look alike is just pure coincidence.

14	In several episode endings like "Hole" and "Carnival" it is clearly shown that the duo died, yet they come back alive and well in the next episode. They both have the same superpower as Kenny, as everyone forgets their deaths and carry on as if nothing has happened. It could also explain how they survive extremely painful situations and heal from any injuries in a fast amount of time.

17	Assuming that the PM in question is UsefulNotes/JohnMajor (then-current at time of recording and broadcast, plus Eddie did a reasonably good voice impression of him [[note]] or rather, his ''Series/SpittingImage'' puppet ... oh, yes [[/note]]), revelations which came out years later mean that one of the women, as seen by Richie and Eddie on the sex tape they found in "Carnival", must be Edwina Curry (a fellow-Tory MP with whom Major had a brief affair before he became PM). But who was the second...?

Videoing the whole thing added a suitable element of danger to the mix due to the risk of the tape falling into the wrong hands. Fortunately for them, it fell into the hands of two of the biggest idiots in London.
