Despite supposedly finishing script of the localization fairly early on the project faced roadblock after roadblock in the technical department, and the release ended up getting postponed time and time again. Eventually, in February 2021, the Vita port was officially cancelled, with the writing having been on the wall for some time at that point. As of this writing, the Steam version of the localization been languishing in DevelopmentHell for close to seven years, and while it is supposedly still being worked on, a final release date remains unannounced.
