''Ninjabread Man'' is an ActionAdventure and PlatformGame, created by Data Design Interactive for the Platform/PS2, [[Platform/IBMPersonalComputer PC]] in 2005, and then ported for Platform/{{Wii}} in 2007. After nearly being eaten by a foxy fox in the original story, the Gingerbread Man decides to learn self-defense. Now he's willing to kick butt as the Ninjabread Man, slashing baked enemies with his sword as he tries to learn more powerful moves.

Although the [=PS2=] version never came to America, the Platform/{{Wii}} version was negatively received for its poor controls and low amount of content. A Europe-only sequel was announced, but it appears work on it never got off the ground, and given that DDI disappeared in 2009, it's likely that the sequel is dead.

!!This game contains examples of:
* AWinnerIsYou: If you beat the game it goes black for a few seconds, before returning you to the title screen.
* FakeDifficulty: The overall difficulty comes from the game's poor controls, bad camera and borderline useless weapons.
* GameBreakingBug: In the PC version, at least, there is one platform in the first level that breaks the game completely. When you jump on it, the character suddenly disappears and you have no choice but to restart the level. And even then, this doesn't fix it -- it corrupts the game with you falling through the ground endlessly, which can only be fixed by exiting and re-entering the level.
* LevelAte: Pretty much the entire game takes place in a world made of various sweets.
* HitboxDissonance: Your sword will pass through enemies on a fairly regular basis.
* NoEnding: Once you beat the third level, that's all there is.
* RecycledSoundtrack: DDI was fond of reusing the same music throughout their games. For instance, the [[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ajLYr5VROlQ same song]] from the tutorial also shows up in the tutorial levels of ''Anubis II'', ''Trixie in Toyland'', and ''Billy the Wizard''.
* SelfPlagiarism: Some of DDI's other games (''Trixie in Toyland'', ''Anubis II'', ''Rock 'n' Roll Adventures'', ''Casper and the Ghostly Trio'') are all reskins of this game. All five share the same HUD, as well as some of the same music.
* ShoutOut: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHaU8yIu1E4&feature=youtu.be&t=30&ab_channel=JakeSharrattMart%C3%ADnez The PC version uses Gingy from Shrek in the load file menu.]]
* YouShouldntKnowThisAlready: In the tutorial level, your ninja stars are ineffective against the practice dummy cupcakes as you haven't "learned" how to use ninja stars yet.
