Made by Skein Globe and published by Rock Hippo Productions, BrawlBusters is an online multiplayer game available on Platform/Steam with a free to play model. Players are seperated onto two teams, red and blue, and are given only one goal: beat the stuffing out of eachother. The player can utilize a single starting class of their choice and unlock others as they level up, their choices being The Slugger, The Rocker, The Blitzer, The Firefighter, and The Boxer The main draw of the game is the lightning-fast gameplay and reliance on your enviroment and quick thinking. The game also features a prominent equipment system run that funds the game's free to play model, special cosmetics being available for purchase using special points. However, there are also upgradeable items that are purchased using both the special points as well as an in-game currency gained through participating in matches, or playing through special single player missions.

!!! This game contains examples of:
* BarrierWarrior: A Firefighter armed with starter weapons is the rare aggressive version of one. Powerful though their flare grenades are, they survive due to generating Deflector Shields and pushing enemies away with their water hose.
* BatterUp: The Slugger's weapon of choice, with a special trigger to make it fan out and rotate to act as a propeller.
* BossBattle: There's one zombie boss available for cooperative play against ("Bubble Yum, the Crazy Cook"), with more presumed to come.
* ColorCodedMultiplayer
* CrateExpectations: The player must randomly smash objects on screen to obtain items.
* CycleOfHurting: Many of the other classes can do this, but The Rocker can very easily juggle someone until they die due to the class's massive range, knockback and a decently-ranged stun attack to close a gap. Not to mention the unusually long and easily chainable melee combo.
* ExplodingBarrels: An extremely common stage element.
* FragileSpeedster: Boxers have good evasion and a remarkable ability to close the distance to an opponent. But a Boxer who misses with the initial strikes, and then fails to get out again in time, can be flattened.
* FriendlyFireProof: Even more so than usual: even explosions and pools of fire from destroyable objects are color-coded to show which side set them off and thus will be unaffected by them (purple if a zombie did it). This leads to the unusual sight of players setting off every exploding object they move past, running through the explosions, to prevent an opponent from doing so from greater range.
* InfiniteSupplies: The Slugger never runs out of baseballs. Nor does the Firefighter run out of either flares or water to shoot.
* InstrumentOfMurder: The Rocker's "axe" in some cases is a functional axe, and in any case is far more durable than any real guitar. Whether it contains special technology or the Rocker is a form of MusicalAssassin is left unclear.
* JigglePhysics
* LightningBruiser: Blitzers move rather fast and hit hard.
* LoadingScreen: With its own artwork and random tips.
* MasterOfNone: The Rocker is noted for having no particular strengths or weaknesses.
** Although the class does have a specialization: the HerdHittingAttack.
* MercyInvincibility: You have a few seconds of invincibility after respawning.
* PlayerVersusPlayer: This is the whole point of the online Team Deathmatch mode.
* PowerFist: The Boxer's weapon of choice.
* RoofHopping: By hitting a fire hydrant and riding the stream of resulting water upward.
* ScoreScreen: After each round.
* ShadowArchetype: There exist "higher level" zombies, some of which bear a resemblance to more limited versions of the players:
** Big, lug-wrench carriers tank like Blitzers, and at low health use a kamikaze tackle similar to the classes' special.
** Bone and skull-clad zombies run faster than the others and dash in like Boxers.
** An uncommon variety of zombie raises short-lived walls to protect itself and provide cover for their ranged support (a Firefighter specialty).
** The zombies have many baseball pitchers of their own, and their diminutive "Little Leaguers" actually possess and use some of the combat items players have access to.
** One of the highest-end zombies is a punk singer carrying a microphone stand which produces chains of lightning which pull players in, stun them and flail them down.
* ShockAndAwe: The Rocker can turn a power chord into a short-range electrical blast, and a couple seconds' strumming produces an explosive sphere of lightning.
* ShoutOut: One of the available items is a pair of TriangleShades named Bro's Sunglasses
* ShowsDamage: Critically damaged characters show worried postures,such as the Rocker holding his left arm across his face.
* Stat-O-Vision: All players can see the names and health bars of both allies and enemies.
* StuffBlowingUp: Need we say more?
** And encouraged, as whaling on destructible objects supplies a variety of single-use combat items.
* VictorGainsLosersPowers: The team game "Glow Match" is a version of this. Everybody starts with an amount of "Glow", killing an opposing player gives you their glow (they respawn without it, and killing a glowless player earns no glow). The winning team is the one that manages to get all the glow at once. You see everybody's glow listed next to their life bar. (Unfortunately, so far the glow does not, well... glow.)
* VirtualPaperDoll: Equipment CAN be upgraded to provide added resistance to damage, but the benefit is so small that it's pretty much just for looking snazzy. Weapons also have varying styles, but they mainly boil down to what their secondary special attack do.
* UselessAccessory: There are a few.
