''Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match'' is a 2013 FightingGame released for the arcades and Platform/PlayStation3. The "Dream Match" refers to how all the entire cast hail from various Creator/{{Aquaplus}} titles. It's a CrossOver between ''VideoGame/{{Utawarerumono}}'', ''VisualNovel/TearsToTiara'', and ''VisualNovel/ToHeart'', along with a few characters from ''Kizuato'', ''Routes'', ''VisualNovel/ComicParty'', and ''VisualNovel/WhiteAlbum''. When a mysterious mind control potion is concocted in an attempt to TakeOverTheWorld, everyone has to beat each other back to their senses and stop the EvilPlan before it's too late.

!!ARE YOU READY? 3, 2, 1, GO!:

* AbsentMindedProfessor: Serika. She's a graceful magical powerhouse, but she tends to space out.
* ActionGirl: Karulau with her hard-hitting BFS. Octavia's sword is more conventional, but she also qualifies.
* AdaptationalBadass: The characters from ''VisualNovel/ToHeart'' and ''VisualNovel/ToHeart2'' can now throw down like ever before: Multi fights with a mop, Konomi is an agile fighter with a food-themed super, Tamaki with powerful grappling moves, Manaka drops books (although by accident) in battle, and Sasara cosplays as a Valkyrie, and fights with a combination of [[ShieldBash shield]] and halberd. Assists characters Serika, Yuma and Ma-ryan can also cause a lot of damage if given the chance.
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Chizuru, in contrast to the more cutesy female characters.
* AnachronismStew: Despite [[VisualNovel/WhiteAlbum Rina and Yuki]] coming from TheEighties, their concert hall stage has three jumbotrons, which didn't exist in the 1980s.
* AntiFrustrationFeatures: An endless amount of continues in Story Mode.
* AnIcePerson: Yuki summons gigantic, damaging snowflakes during her performance. Llyr can summon mini-glaciers.
* AsLongAsThereIsEvil: [[spoiler:What the Yata no Kagami spouts after Chizuru is beaten in Another Story.]]
* AssistCharacter: Thirteen of them, all with different abilities and attacks.
%%* {{Backstory}}: Anyone familiar with the characters' respective series will understand their interactions much better.
%%* BadassAdorable: Konomi, Manaka, Multi, and Riannon.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Played straight in Manaka and Touka's Another Story endings. Subverted in Multi's in that she absolutely loves the end result.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Chizuru seems like a sweet, soft-spoken innkeeper. [[RedEyesTakeWarning Then her eyes turn red]].
* {{BFS}}: Karulau's sword is heavy enough to split the ground open whenever it connects.
%%* BlackMagic: Serika and Camyu wield it.
* BlowYouAway: Hakuowlo and Ulthury's specialty.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Everyone under the effects of the Aquapazza.
* {{Combos}}: Present and accounted for, though [[SomeDexterityRequired some characters are easier to use than others]].
* ClassRepresentative: Manaka's Splash Art name directly inverts this regarding her.
* TheComputerIsACheatingBastard: As a boss, Tamaki ''really'' abuses her ability to counter and grab you out of an attack. Hakuowlo's specials let him attack you from nearly every direction, which can be overwhelming when he's paired with [[spoiler: Ma-ryan]].
* CoolBigSis: Ulthury is one for Camyu, Tamaki is one for the ''VisualNovel/ToHeart2'' cast and Karulau gives off this vibe as well.
* CordonBleughChef: Chizuru is implied to be one in her ending.
* CrashIntoHello: Konomi's Splash Art with her dog, Genjimaru.
* CuteBookworm: Manaka, whose book dropping-prone antics make her a BadassBookworm as well.
* CutenessProximity: Touka thinks Multi is adorable.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Camyu, the CuteWitch assist character.
* DifficultButAwesome: Some of Touka's combos aren't exactly user-friendly. Tamaki also has abysmal range, but she has some ridiculously good grapple and throw combos.
** ''Manaka'' embodies this in every essence of the word. She has no run button, her dash is an awkwardly adorable stumble, and her backdash rapidly decreases her emotion to fight. However, mix in her long range, multi-hitting projectiles, effective normals, and fierce Climax Super and you can easily win over those who underestimate her.
%%* DreamMatchGame: It's even in the title.
%%* DrunkOnTheDarkSide: [[spoiler: Ma-ryan]].
%%* DualWielding: Oboro.
* EasilyForgiven: [[spoiler: Ma-ryan's]] punishment for trying to take over the world? Staying after school to clean classrooms. To be fair, she got hit with EasyAmnesia.
** [[spoiler:Leads to NiceJobBreakingItHero in TheStinger]].
* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai: Touka's a powerful one.
* FightingClown: Manaka, who constantly carries a stack of books. yeah it seems silly, but said books can be used for devastating combos.
* FiveRoundsRapid: One of Satsuki's assist attacks.
%%* FixedFloorFighting: But with a few different locations.
* %% FlashStep: Touka and Chizuru.
%% * FragileSpeedster: Morgan, the most agile playable character. Mizuki's assists involve surprisingly fast uppercuts and flying kicks.
* GoombaStomp: Konomi has a super that does this multiple times.
* GlassCannon: Multi, who goes down pretty easily if you can deal with her ridiculously good offense.
* GunsAreWorthless: Despite having a handgun with better range than anyone else except Morgan, Satsuki is just an assist character.
* TheGunslinger: Satsuki, the only character armed with conventional modern weaponry.
* HotBlooded: Oboro, so much that his combos are flame-based.
* HotSpringsEpisode: At least one ending on each Story mode is this.
* IKnowYouAreInThereSomewhereFight: Given what's causing the problem, pretty much ''every'' fight is like this.
* IaijutsuPractitioner: Touka, complete with some [[DifficultButAwesome unusual inputs but effective combos]].
* IdolSinger: Yuki and Rina sing and dance while performing their assists. One of the stages is even a concert.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Multi uses a mop, Yuma uses her ''bicycle'', and Manaka [[ThrowTheBookAtThem fights with her books]].
* ImprobablyFemaleCast: Of 26 characters (13 playable and 13 support), Arawn, Hakuowlo and Oboro are the only guys, however, the three of them are playable.
%%* JackassGenie: The Yata no Kagami.
%%* KatanasAreJustBetter: Touka certainly thinks so.
* KiManipulation: One of Octavia's assist attacks has her fire a large and flashy energy sphere.
%%* KillerRabbit: Ma-ryan and Multi.
%%* LadyOfWar: Octavia, the swordswoman assist character.
* LethalChef: Chizuru. She even claims that her [[BlatantLies wish in Another Story]] was to become a better cook.
** Konomi weaponizes food for one of her Super Arts.
* LethalJokeCharacter: Manaka is a [[CuteClumsyGirl clumsy]] BookWorm, but those dropped books are ''deadly'' if used correctly.
* LifeMeter: A 200% version.
* LightEmUp: Riannon's spells, which can be devastating if placed correctly.
* LightningBruiser: Chizuru can rack up damage like nobody's business. One of her specials is even a textbook SpeedBlitz. Sasara's shield dashing combos cover a lot of ground and can completely dominate a fight if used well. Hakuowlo's no slouch, either.
* LongRangeFighter: Riannon, Morgan, and Satsuki, who rely on spell-casting, arrows, and bullets respectively. And, while not exclusively so, Sasara can play this way with her halberd's long reach and wide swing arc.
* MagicKnight: Arawn has this play style.
* MagicStaff: Riannon's weapon. Llyr's is more of a magic trident.
* MightyGlacier: Arawn is the closet thing the game has to one. He's not very fast, but some of his sword combos hit like a truck.
* MindManipulation: The result from consuming the titular Aquapazza.
* NeckSnap: Tamaki has a few nasty variations of it, including an anti-air grab and the second half of a super attack.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Ma-ryan, who supposedly graduated from high school but looks like a child.
* OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent: Pretty much every character from ''VisualNovel/ToHeart'' seems like one until they start fighting.
* OutGambitted: Ma-Ryan thinks Sasara isn't smart enough to trick her in Sasara's Another Story ending, leading her to [[spoiler:get tied up and tickled mercilessly by Sasara after successfully tricking her]].
* PantheraAwesome: One of Hakuowlo's specials summons a gigantic battle tiger.
* PaperFanOfDoom: Hakuowlo and Yu, who fan wind and fire respectively.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: Konomi, Multi, and Rathty. Ma-ryan's MeteorMove is ''much'' stronger than it has any right to be. Riannon also qualifies, though she's a magic powerhouse instead of a physical one.
* PlayingWithFire: Arawn, Oboro, and Karulau have flame-based specials. Rina, Camyu, and Yu's assist moves are fiery as well.
%%* PluckyGirl: Konomi and Yuma.
* PowerCopying: Serika's assist move involved copying and using your opponent's attacks.
* PowerGlows: With pretty much any spell or special, but Riannon's are the flashiest.
%%* TheQuietOne: Ulthury. Serika is even quieter.
* TheRedMage: Riannon qualifies as one with her rounded spell list.
%%* RobotGirl: Multi.
%%* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Arawn and Hakuowlo.
* SequelHook: [[spoiler:Subverted, in that, although TheStinger has Ma-ryan planning another TakeOverTheWorld plan]], it never comes into fruition due to Another Story happening after [[spoiler:Ma-ryan's]] plans got foiled.
* ShieldBash: A key component of Sasara's playing style.
* ShockAndAwe: Ulthury's powers are a combination of this and BlowYouAway.
* ShoutOut: Tamaki's Iron Claw Of Fear is a modified version of [[VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters Rugal's]] Gigantic Pressure with a NeckSnap at the end.
** The final attack of Sasara's Splash Art may as well include her shouting, [[VideoGame/ValkyrieProfile "Divine assault! Nibelung Valesti!"]]
* SiblingYinYang: Ulthury is calm, serene, can use lighting and wind, and has a white motif. Camyu is more energetic, can use fire and darkness, and has a black motif.
* SingleStrokeBattle: Octavia mimics it in one of her assists. She'll dash forward and slash the target...which leaves only minimal damage.
* SNKBoss:
** Ma-ryan in Story Mode. An unusual case in that she's an AssistCharacter (with the main fighter depending on your chosen character). She has SecretAIMoves that are unavailable in her normal form that don't use up the Super Meter, her Partner Meter charges much faster than yours, her main fighter is unaffected by the highs and lows of the Emotion system, and she can [[TheBattleDidntCount heal her partner back to 50% health if she's about to lose the match and has enough Super Meter charges stocked]].
** Chizuru in Another Story Mode. If you're lucky, you ''might'' get in a hit the first time you fight her.
* SomeDexterityRequired: Just try getting Touka's Splash Art down on the first try.
* SpiritualSuccessor: The game is this to ''VideoGame/TheQueenOfHeart'' series of {{Fighting Game}}s, as both feature characters from diverse visual novels by Creator/{{Aquaplus}} (Formerly known as Leaf); additionally, Multi, Chizuru and {{Assist Character}}s [[VisualNovel/ToHeart Serika]], [[VisualNovel/WhiteAlbum Yuki, Rina,]] [[VisualNovel/ComicParty Mizuki and Yu]][[note]]Only in ''Party's Breaker''[[/note]] could be chosen as playable characters.
* SquishyWizard: Riannon is much slower than most characters and relies on long-distance zoning.
* TheStinger: [[spoiler:Ma-ryan finds another recipe for something called Raging Water and decides to use it for nefarious purposes. HereWeGoAgain]].
* {{Stonewall}}: [[VideoGame/{{Utawarerumono}} Hakuoro]] was described on the wiki as a defensive character.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Morgan, the bikini-clad archer. It's lampshaded a few times. Sasara's Valkyrie-style costume isn't terribly practical.
** Then there's the cosplay outfit (read: skimpy bikini) Sasara is forced to wear at the school festival in her Story ending.
* StudentCouncilPresident: Sasara. Amusingly, she's the only schoolgirl not in uniform; she's cosplaying as a [[{{Valkyries}} valkyrie]].
* SuperMovePortraitAttack: One for every playable character.
* SuperpoweredEvilSide: [[spoiler: Chizuru]] in Another Story.
* SuperStrength: Karulau is strong enough to wield a sword that can ''shatter the ground''.
* SupremeChef: Konomi. One of her Super Arts is even food-themed.
%%* ThreeRoundDeathmatch: As usual.
* ThroughHisStomach: Tamaki tries this with her romantic interest in her ending... by adding Aquapazza to the dish.
* ThrowTheBookAtThem: Or more precisely, drop the book on them: Manaka fights with books, whether by dropping them on her opponents, or hitting directly; and one of her supers has her dropping a row of bookcases on her opponent.
* TokenMiniMoe: There are a lot of {{Moe}} gals in the roster, but Multi stands out the most for this trope.
* UnsportsmanlikeGloating: Ma-ryan, complete with an annoying NoblewomansLaugh.
* VersusCharacterSplash: For the characters and their assists.
* VictoryPose: Multiple ones for each character, with varying degrees of FanService.
* WardrobeMalfunction: Sasara magically dismisses her halberd and shield as part of some of her victory poses. Only she sometimes also dismisses her armor, leaving her in a strapless leotard that she finds quite embarrassing.
* WhatTheHellHero: In a curious case combined with BreakingTheFourthWall, when one character's life meter is depleted, some of the assist characters look at the camera in disbelief, as if they were calling out the player for allowing the main character to be defeated. It's most notorious with Octavia, and Ma-ryan starts yelling at the front of the screen.
* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why Did It Have To Be Dogs?]]: One of Tamaki's victory poses involves her running away from Konomi's dog at a full sprint and yelling at him to leave her alone.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: [[spoiler: Ma-ryan]] and [[spoiler: Chizuru]]. Both recover.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Tamaki's moveset is a combination of devastating grapples, chokes, and throws. Her primary special attack is a ''German Suplex''. Half of her Splash Art is something right out of [[VideoGame/StreetFighterIII Alex's]] playbook.
* ZergRush: Multi and Boss Ma-ryan have specials that summon a rush of robot maids and schoolgirls respectively.
