A PlatformGame based on Creator/{{Disney}}'s ''WesternAnimation/{{Aladdin}}'', released by Creator/{{Capcom}} in 1993.

This ''Aladdin'' game, in which Aladdin uses a bedsheet as a parachute, was initially an exclusive for the Platform/SuperNintendoEntertainmentSystem, though there were bootleg versions for the Platform/NintendoEntertainmentSystem and Platform/SegaGenesis (for which Virgin Games' ''VideoGame/{{Aladdin|VirginGames}}'' was legitimately released), and it was ported to the Platform/GameBoyAdvance eleven years later.

On September 23, 2021, Nighthawk Interactive announced that this game would be included in a compilation called ''Disney Classic Games Collection: Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Jungle Book'', along with [[VideoGame/AladdinVirginGames the Genesis version made by Virgin Games]], as well as both the SNES and Genesis versions of the ''VideoGame/TheJungleBook'' and ''VideoGame/TheLionKing'' video games. It was also added as DLC to the initial ''Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King'' release from 2019 that featured only ''The Lion King'' and Virgin's ''Aladdin''. This compilation was released on the Platform/PlayStation4, Platform/XboxOne, Platform/NintendoSwitch, and Platform/MicrosoftWindows (via Platform/{{Steam}}) on November 23, 2021.

!!Tropes appearing in this game:
* OneUp: Picking a genie lamp pickup will grant an extra life. The lamp even has "1-up" written above it.
* AdaptationExpansion: Stage 5 has Aladdin venture into a pyramid to search for Abu after he falls off the Magic Carpet, and is not based on any scene from the original movie.
* AdvancingWallOfDoom: During the Carpet ride in the Cave of Wonders, a massive wave of lava threatens to kill Aladdin from behind, forcing him to stay close to the right side of the screen.
* AngryFistShake: The man leaning out of a window in the Agrabah stages does this, to show that he really doesn't appreciate Aladdin using his head as a springboard.
* AnnoyingArrows: One of the more frequent hazards in the game are spindly, hunchbacked archers. Their aim is not particularly good.
* AttackItsWeakPoint: In the final battle with Jafar's snake form, he can only be damaged by jumping on his head.
* AutoScrollingLevel:
** Both halves of the escape from the Cave of Wonders in Stage 3. The first half is a traditional platforming stage where the screen automatically moves forward and Aladdin must keep up, while the second half has Aladdin riding the Magic Carpet at high speed while avoiding crashing into anything.
** The Bonus Stage is another Carpet ride, though this time there are no obstacles, and the objective is simply to collect as many gems as you can as they automatically scroll by.
* BonusStage: The Bonus Stage based on the "A Whole New World" sequence has no enemies, and simply challenges Aladdin to collect as many gems as he can.
* BossOnlyLevel: The last level only has the battle with Jafar in his snake form and begins with text reading "Final battle" on the screen.
* BottomlessPits: In a lot of levels, there are locations where falling off the screen kills you.
* BuildLikeAnEgyptian: Stage 5 sees Aladdin go into an Egyptian-type pyramid to rescue Abu.
* CatastrophicCountdown: The Escape from the Cave of Wonder's walls of lava and falling rocks get more and more frequent the closer the end of the stage is.
* CirclingBirdies: Stunned enemies have stars above their heads.
* CollectionSidequest: Each of the game's stages, including the Bonus Stage, has 10 red gems Aladdin can collect, which are tallied at the end of the stage. If Aladdin collects enough throughout the game, the credits sequence will be slightly different.
* CoversAlwaysLie: Aladdin has a sword in the cover art, which he lacks in this version in favor of a GoombaStomp. Surprisingly, the cover art of the GBA release repeated this ([[AmericanKirbyIsHardcore in the American version anyway]], as this is averted in the European and Japanese releases, [[https://static.emulatorgames.net/images/gameboy-advance/aladdin.jpg which depicts him]] [[http://www.retroplace.com/pics/gba/packshots/59806--disneys-aladdin.png merely crossing his arms instead]]).
* DemBones: There's a living skeleton in the Cave of Wonders treasure room, wearing a crown and armored shoulder pads, wielding a scimitar. It has no lower half, but it's still pretty menacing. Iago also appears a few times in the final level carrying skulls, which he drops when you get close enough, and the way they bounce along the ground seems to indicate they're alive.
* DisneyAcidSequence: Capcom seemed determined to outdo Disney themselves with their interpretation of the "Friend like Me" sequence, which is a cloud cuckoo land full of disembodied Genie heads and arms, balloons, springs, and bright pastel colors.
* EdibleAmmunition: Apples can be thrown at enemies. It will defeat small ones, but guards will only be stunned.
* FlashOfPain: Final boss flashes white when hit.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: We see Abu clinging at Carpet in the background at Genie's stage.
* TheGoomba: Those little birds that are covered in upside down pots. Some of them even have wings, but they're all weak enough to be defeated by apples.
* GoombaStomp: Aladdin's primary attack is jumping on top of enemies and vaulting over them.
* GuiltBasedGaming: On the continue screen, Abu and the Genie will be visibly distraught if the player moves Aladdin over to the "No" rope, and Genie's face will fall if Aladdin actually pulls it. By comparison, they will be happy if Aladdin pulls the "Yes" rope.
* HeartContainer: You find these scattered throughout the levels, and you can also get them in bonus levels.
* InexplicableTreasureChests: Some treasure chests are lying inside levels. Opening them will usually contain something good.
* LawOfOneHundred: Aladdin collects gems. 100 emeralds will get you a permanent extra hit point. Once you have the maximum number of hit points, 100 emeralds will refill your life bar AND give you an extra life. Rubies are worth multiple emeralds, and collecting enough of them unlocks different credit sequences.
* LethalLavaLand: Much like in the movie, the Cave of Wonders becomes flooded with lava during the escape sequence in Stage 3, which Aladdin must avoid falling into. Fireballs jump out of the lava at certain points, and during the Carpet ride, there's a massive wave of lava that Aladdin must outrun.
* LevelInTheClouds: The Genie stages have some areas with cloud platforms, including one where the Genie determines which platforms you get based on how well you did on the stage so far (with the clouds being the easiest platforms to use)
* MercyMode: In the Genie's level, the difficulty of the platforming is proportional to the number of lives you have left.
* MultipleEndings: The credits will look different depending on how many red gems Aladdin collects throughout the game.
** 49 gems or less: Aladdin and Jasmine will ride Carpet through the night sky, ending with them flying away, leaving a shot above the clouds.
** 50-69 gems: A montage of Aladdin playing through different locations throughout the game, ending on a shot of the Sultan's Palace. When the game shows how many gems you have collected, a message reads "You are great player!"
** All 70 gems: Same as the second ending, except the message reads "You are super player!"
* OneHitPointWonder: Aladdin cannot afford to hit anything while riding the Magic Carpet in Stage 3, as doing so will immediately cost him a life.
* {{Roofhopping}}: The third stage of Agrabah is primarily about jumping across crumbling rooftops.
* ScaledUp: The final boss fight has Jafar transform into a giant cobra, just like in the movie.
* ShoutOut: A part of the first level has the player [[VideoGame/DonkeyKong dodging barrels while climbing up a zigzagging building structure.]]
* SolidClouds: Genie summons a few solid clouds for Aladdin to jump on.
* SpikesOfDoom: A common obstacle in the game, especially in the Pyramid and Jafar's palace.
* SpringsSpringsEverywhere: 3rd level of Genie's lamp has a few springboards, modeled after Genie's likeness.
* StalactiteSpite: Tons of falling stalactites on later levels.
* TacticalSuicideBoss: Jafar has an attack where he throws his scepter into the ground, and another where he summons a group of pot birds, both of which let you GoombaSpringboard high enough to stomp him when he swoops down. If he never did either of these attacks, or even if he just never swooped down at you, he'd be unbeatable.
* TreasureIsBiggerInFiction: Collectible gems are the size of Aladdin's head.
* UniqueEnemy: The scimitar-wielding skeleton in the Cave of Wonders treasure room. There's no other enemy even similar to it in the entire game.
* {{Wackyland}}: Inside the Genie's lamp.
* ZeroEffortBoss: The boss of the pyramid level. [[spoiler:It's Abu in a pharaoh mask. He can't attack and takes one hit.]]
