Naturally, you're not only incredibly dense, but childish as well.

Yes, just as there are tsundere in both manga and comics, there are tsundere in Western animation. If only I had an anvil for your head-

* WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius: Cindy Vortex is far more "tsun" than "dere", but there are a few times she lets her true feelings for Jimmy slip through. She becomes much more "dere" in the later episodes.
* WesternAnimation/AlvinAndTheChipmunks: Britanny Miller, towards Alvin Seville (and vice-versa).
* WesternAnimation/TheAmazingChanAndTheChanClan: Henry is mildly Harsh when it comes to Stanley.
* WebAnimation/AngelicateAvenue: Kira Tonbo is completely and totally tsun-tsun to Kimi, then when spoken to by Koja, reverts to dere-dere mode.
* WesternAnimation/Archer: Lana, especially towards the titular character himself. In almost every episode, she's angry, sarcastic, and extremely critical towards the rest of her colleagues (most of all Archer, due to their shared on-and-off relationship). However, she has shown a few moments where she's acted friendly, and even loving towards her team, a trait that's most prominent due to her in Season 5.
* WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender:
** Zuko is something of a prickly Jerkass most of the time, but has a soft, dorky center that he only shows around his SugarAndIce girlfriend Mai.
** Toph can come off as snarky and harsh, but she displays a much friendlier and warmer side of herself if you get to know her. Or if you're Iroh. She also likes to show affection for someone by punching their arm.
%%* WesternAnimation/Ben 10: Kevin Levin is an example of Harsh.
* Kiina in Toys/Bionicle: The Legend Reborn.
* WesternAnimation/CatDog: Cat is a male example, especially when it comes to his brother Dog. He'll often let his MoneyFetish and Jerkass tendencies get the better of him, but whenever Dog's been truly humiliated or upset, he'll do whatever it takes to make him happy.
* WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor: If you look at it as MetaphoricallyTrue, Wally aka Numbuh 4 is a male tsundere. He's the kind of kid who's crazy for action, but when Kuki's being sweet to him, he can't look at Kuki straight in the eye.
%%* WesternAnimation/Daria
* WesternAnimation/DragonHunters: Jeanneline browbeats Gwizdo constantly (and justifiably) about his unpaid tab. She's also very much in love with him and time and time again expresses her desire to marry him.
* WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy: Sarah. It's hard to tell, because she's almost always in tsun-mode -- occasionally going full-blown Ax Crazy -- but she does have her occasional dere moments, mostly toward Jimmy. She's also a tsundere towards Edd; ever since "An Ed Too Many", she's harbored a crush on him, but she still beats him up like she does the other Eds because, in her own words, "give those cute ones an inch and they'll take a mile."
* WesternAnimation/FanboyAndChumChum: Kyle. While usually dismissing the titular duo's pushy friendliness with snark, he has occasionally shown to crave their friendship in reality, most prominently in the episode "Sigmund the Sorcerer".
* WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents: Some fans believe that this is the hidden behavior of Trixie Tang toward Timmy Turner. In fact, in the episode "Manic Mom-Day", she truly behaves as a tsundere.
* WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends: Bloo is a major harsh type who usually only cares about himself, but he has a sweet side deep down, especially towards Mac, but occasionally towards other characters. In "Mac Daddy", he spends most of the episode trying to get rid of Cheese, but after he gets lost in the house, Bloo becomes very concerned about him and is willing to accept him as a brother (before finding out Cheese wasn't created by Mac). In "Read 'Em and Weep", Bloo misses Eduardo after he gets adopted, but tries to pretend that he doesn't.
* WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy: It's hard to believe, but the eponymous Mandy is a tsundere. A Valentine's Day episode revolved entirely around her trying to break out of her deredere mode. There's also the moment when Mandy finds out that Billy fell in love with a seemingly normal girl. Cue a shocked expression, a slightly saddened expression, then a total verbal beatdown of how desperate the girl is. If it were anyone else other than Mandy, one would call her jealous.
* WesternAnimation/HeyArnold:
** Helga Pataki makes a prime example here. Throughout the series, she goes all dere-dere on Arnold in private and even has a shrine devoted to him, yet she can only act tsun-tsun and bully him in public. In fact, she could easily out-tsundere even the most extreme Anime tsunderes. She at first seems to be purely of the Wolf-Girl variant, but as CharacterizationMarchesOn we begin to find out that she is more of a Tragic Past Tsundere, TheUnfavorite of a well-meaning father "supportively" trying to push her to be as good as her sister the genius athletic near-saint.
** It's revealed that Arnold's grandma was this when she was young.
** Rhonda could easily be seen as this for Harold, especially in "Operation Ruthless" and "An Egg Story". Though it should be noted that her "tsun" mode is not nearly as agressive or outright hostile as Helga.
* WesternAnimation/JimmyTwoShoes: Heloise goes from tsun to dere when Jimmy shows up... and then to yandere when her jealousy gets the better of her.
* WesternAnimation/Kaeloo gives us a rare male example with Mr. Cat -- he acts like a complete Jerkass most of the time, even to his "friends" and acts like he hates is often reluctant to join their games, but he secretly cares for them and gets angry when they forget to invite him to play. His dere side mostly comes out around Kaeloo, his ImpliedLoveInterest.
* WesternAnimation/KappaMikey: Lily must have the diaphragm of ten lions and threatens physical pain not just on her target of affection Mikey but on the rest of the cast as well. Only once in a full moon does she admit that Mikey's sweet.
* WesternAnimation/KickButtowski: Kendall. Whenever Kick is around, she acts in her tsun-mode, but when he's not looking, she goes in dere-mode for him.
* WesternAnimation/TheLandBeforeTime: Cera, especially after taking a level in kindness in the sequels. Bossy, egotistical, and stubborn, but is a sweet girl on the inside who will always be there for her friends when push comes to shove.
* This was the personality given to Zelda in the animated The Legend of Zelda, although usually only when dealing with Link.
* WesternAnimation/MASK: Vanessa Warfield towards Brad Turner in the second season.
* WesternAnimation/Metalocalypse: Murderface. Oftentimes he is rude, crude, and disrespectful to his band mates and the world around him, but occasionally becomes emotional and insecure of himself (especially in and ). Creator Brendon Small describes Murderface as, ["a self-hating bass player [… thin-skinned and incredibly sensitive]] and just wants to be accepted constantly but can't get that because he's such a dick and pushes people away."
* WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic:
** Rainbow Dash can be this at times yet she has got a good heart. Although she can be rather rude to her closest friends, she softens up in later seasons and becomes more of an Unsorted Tsundere with both Harsh and Sweet qualities to her. As a Kuudere, she even says a classic Tsundere line saying she's worried Tank will slack off and isn't worried about him. Cue LuminescentBlush.
** Fluttershy's pet WhiteBunny Angel is often abrasive to his mistress but he's worse to everyone else, doesn't like being separated from her yet -- when she needs it -- he is sweet and comforting.
** Rarity's cat Opalescence showed this behavior in the presence of Rainbow Dash's tortoise Tank. The episode "Just for Sidekicks" shows her being affectionate towards him and her typical behavior towards others, but only after smacking his head once.
** Princess Ember from "Gauntlet of Fire" is a classic Harsh type, putting on a strong front but still being nice and friendly in her own way.
* WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTales: Teddy is this to Sweetheart, as seen in the episode "Stand By Me".
* WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse: Played with in the case of Amity Blight. Sometimes she goes far past SugarAndIcePersonality and straight into this, one such example being her reading to children at the library and clearly enjoying it, only to be caught doing so by Luz and immediately swearing that she's only doing it for extra credit. As the series goes on, she becomes far less standoffish to the point where Luz becomes the first real friend she's had in years and even
* WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb: Candace has some aspects of this. Most noticeable in "Split Personality", in which she's split into pure Tsun Tsun and pure Dere Dere duplicates.
* WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls1998: Buttercup is very short-tempered, takes no crap from anyone and can be rather abrasive towards anything she doesn't see the point of. If she's in a good mood or if you're someone she's close to, she can be pretty easy to get along with.
* WesternAnimation/ReadyJetGo: Mitchell is this big time, to the point where he could possibly give Megara a run for her money. He usually acts distant and stuck-up towards the main cast, and is easy to anger, especially if you sneak up on him. However, underneath his tsun tsun facade, he does have a kind and caring side, which is particularly being played up as of Season 2. This is showcased with his interactions with Sean and Mindy.
* WesternAnimation/Recess: Non-romantic example (most of the time): Spinelli is (usually) dere-dere towards the other five main kids, but tsun-tsun to everyone else. Also, she's the most dere-dere with T.J., whom it's hinted she has a crush on...
* WesternAnimation/RegularShow: Rigby was originally shown as one towards Eileen.
* WesternAnimation/TheRenAndStimpyShow: Ren is one towards his best friend and life partner Stimpy. Less so in the first episodes, where apart from Ren's occasional and usually justified insults, the vitriolic part of their relationship is barely visible. But, oddly for tsunderes, his positive/neutral attitude goes downhill as episodes pass. In Adult Party Cartoon, Flanderization he turns into a monster. His tsundere behaviour towards Stimpy varies between DomesticAbuse and IShallTauntYou, with only the latter receiving any noticeable reaction. In earlier seasons, he used to have crying breakdowns fairly often, with Stimpy as his shoulder to cry on -- in "Son Of Stimpy" and "The Big Shot", it's also very obviously portrayed that he cares deeply for the moronic cat, which is the "dere" side of his personality.
* WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty: Rick is a classic type A, being rude, uncaring and harsh and he constantly claims to be irritated and indifferent to his family -- he regularly insults them, drags Morty on dangerous adventures against his will and often acts like he isn't a human like them, dismissing love as merely a chemical reaction. The only one he consistently treats well is Beth and it still didn't stop him from abandoning her in her youth. However, it's very clear that no matter how toxic and mean he is about it, he does love his grandkids. He becomes extremely jealous whenever Morty or Summer start admiring someone more than him, he does make gadgets when they ask him to fix their problems and should you get the idea to hurt his family (including, yes, Jerry), you likely won't survive the attempt.
* WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries: Gem Stone appears to be highly unpleasant on the surface, but a few episodes hint that she does like having Sabrina around, most notably in "Upside Down Town". The same episode has Pi saying that people can't be all bad and just have "dirty windows".
* WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons:
** In the episode "Stealing First Base", Bart falls in love with Nikki, a girl in another fourth grade class. She's definitely Harsh. She goes from being upset because he stole a kiss from her, to wanting to be his girlfriend. He still can't figure her out by the end of the episode (though Bart did cry out, "I love you!" to her as she left).
** When Bart ends up in Juvie, he becomes the target of a Gina, a tough girl who may or may not like him. Bart is as confused by this girl as he was by Nikki, though this one is more (physically) painful. She kisses him, punches him again, hugs him, cries, and then punches him again. And she's an orphan.
* WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants: Squidward Tentacles could be seen as a Tsundere. He's usually cranky, cantankerous, and rude. But sometimes, when [=SpongeBob=] has been pushed a little too far and starts to cry, Squidward's heart will positively melt and he'll do everything he can to fix the situation. Then he'll go right back to being a grouch after [=SpongeBob=] has cheered up. He has shown and even blurted out that he does like [=SpongeBob=], but most of the time he's too proud to admit it.
* WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse: Lapis Lazuli is bitter and rather harsh towards everybody but Steven. She eventually warmed up to Peridot many episodes later, though.
* WesternAnimation/Superjail: One could argue that the Mistress is this towards the Warden. She mainly acts tsun-tsun towards him, but every once in a while will let her dere side slip through. Combined with BelligerentSexualTension.
* WesternAnimation/SuperNoobs: Zenblock is this towards the Noobs and the cultures of Earth as he is a type 1 non-romantic, male version of this. He doubts the Noobs experience and skill but warms up to them after they help him achieve his dream of winning the recruiter of the year award. As for the cultures of Earth, he is more hesitant in exploring it as his best friend, Memnock is childishly fascinated with exploring but Zenblock makes some exceptions if it involves candy or toys, or offers him competition against Memnock.
* WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends: Gordon acts tsun-tsun toward almost everybody, but cares for his friends (though his ego prevents him from doing this)
* WesternAnimation/TimeSquad: Buck Tuddrussel and Larry 3000 refer to each other with great amounts of disdain in their default tsun mood, but if placed in a proper situation, can be nice, open and protective over each other (though they are never at the same time). This is more prominent with Larry, who is not subject to TestosteronePoisoning.
* WesternAnimation/TotalDrama:
** Courtney is a good example of Harsh, although she can be Sweet, since she's generally polite if bossy, but if you get her mad, she gets bitchy and violent. She instantly takes a loathing for Duncan, yet she ends up falling asleep next to him in the Sucky Outdoors, and then kisses him in Basic Straining.
--> Duncan: (with his and Courtney's fake antlers stuck together) What can I say, the girl can't keep her antlers off me. \
(Courtney responds by kicking him in the groin)
** Gwen starts out acting Tsun, takes awhile to warm up to people, but in the end she agrees to go out with Trent. By the second season they broke up. Then third season, its the same with Duncan.
** Duncan is Tsun-Tsun to nearly everybody, but dere-dere to Gwen and Courtney (until the third season where he is more Tsun-Tsun to her than anybody else).
** Heather during World Tour is a perfect example of Harsh, going for the cold shoulder and insults towards Alejandro. She's even denying she likes him to Chef, and then stating in another (empty) confessional that he's "just so… perfect!"
%%* WesternAnimation/UglyAmericans: CuteMonsterGirl Callie Maggotbone is a chaotic Harsh.
* WesternAnimation/WorkItOutWombats: Mr. E is grumpy and irritable most of the time, especially towards the wombats, but he does secretly care for them. His insecurities prevent him from showing his kind side, though.

* WesternAnimation/TheAmazingChanAndTheChanClan: Anne Chan is mildly Sweet: Her dere-dere side is laid back and a PluckyGirl and her tsun-tsun is argumentative and competitive (especially around Tom and Alan).
* WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender: Katara acts as the kind and mature TeamMom, but she's also very stubborn and hot-tempered.
* WesternAnimation/CaptainPlanetAndThePlaneteers: Linka. No, she doesn't like Wheeler that way... or so she says. She comes close to kissing him several times in the series, and is his ClingyJealousGirl whenever a female expresses interest in him. The two finally share a passionate kiss in Episode 69, "Missing Linka", and their interactions warm up after that, showing genuine affection for each other on several occasions.
* WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor: Kuki aka Numbuh 3 is Kawaiiko EXTREMELY cute and sweet... but she's very, very obstinate and prone to mood swings, especially when arguing with Wally aka Numbuh 4.
* WesternAnimation/DangerMouse: Professor Squawkencluck from the reboot is by default quite sweet and friendly, but is also very quick to anger, with Danger Mouse often being to cause of her temper.
* WesternAnimation/Doug: Beebe Bluff is pretty friendly, though she's a bit of a tsun-tsun around Skeeter, who it's confirmed she has a crush on.
* WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy: Nazz is normally quite sweet and easy-going, but sometimes she can be pretty harsh.
* WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents: Wanda, who tends to do all the Tsundere methods as foil to her idiot husband Cosmo.
* WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy: Meg Griffin is Sweet. She is usually dere-dere, but acts tsun-tsun to people she doesn't like or people who usually piss her off. Her mother Lois Griffin also applies to this. Lois is usually kind and polite with others, but she has an aggressive and short-tempered side, usually caused by her husband Peter's stupidity, impulsiveness, and eccentric plans that often blow up in his face.
* WesternAnimation/FanboyAndChumChum: Yo is a GenkiGirl with obsessive tendencies towards the latter protagonist by default. Occasionally, especially when dealing with Fanboy, she will switch into tsun mode and become much less pleasant.
* WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones: Wilma Flintstone is a good example of Sweet. She's all sweetness and light until her husband Fred goes from JerkWithAHeartOfGold to Jerkass. The Flintstones are probably a good example of what happens when a pair with BelligerentSexualTension eventually gets their act together and finally Spit It Out.
* WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends: Frankie is very warm and nurturing towards the imaginary friends, but doesn't take too kindly to Mr. Herriman's pestering or Bloo's madness.
* WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends: Giggles. While normally one of the sweetest and most social members of the cast, she absolutely flips her shit whenever she sees someone harming the environment.
* WesternAnimation/KaBlam: June is usually sweet and laid-back. However, when something bad happens (like Henry giving her crap or something won't go her way), she's pretty tough. She's also always doing something mean to Henry (even though they're friends), however, she has a huge crush on him.
%%* WesternAnimation/Kaijudo: Allison "Allie" Underhill.
* WesternAnimation/Metalocalypse: By contrast to the obviously Harsh William Murderface, Toki Wartooth is a Sweet tsundere, usually being the nicest guy in the band, and treats every band member with a calm attitude... except Skwisgaar, to whom he is specifically tsun towards. Still, it is pretty obvious that he does have a crush on him. Yes, a male tsundere having the hots for another male character.
* WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic: Twilight Sparkle is a NiceGirl around Celestia, Spike, and her family, but her newfound friends set her off. There's also Princess Luna, with her emotions and personality painting her as such when only the audience (and Twilight) get to see how hurt she really feels.
* WesternAnimation/NatureCat: The titular character is usually cute, friendly, enthusiastic, and highly emotional. He's also implied to have a crush on his best friend Hal, as the latter has been shown signs of affection for most of the time, at least in the earlier seasons and . His harsh side only comes out when it's Ronald and when Hal says or does things that set him off. For that, he is prone to showing annoyance though snark and has a confrontational side, mostly when arguing with Ronald.
* WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls1998: Bubbles is easily the sweetest and most affectionate of the girls, but if you condescend her or anything she enjoys, she can and will show you how ruthless she can be.
* WesternAnimation/Recess: Miss Grotke is for 95% of the time a sweetheart. But when provoked... BewareTheNiceOnes.
* WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries: The title character is often a HairOfGoldHeartOfGold type who has feelings for Harvey, but has had quite a number of selfish moments in the show.
* WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants:
** The titular character can be said to be this. He's normally a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a kind word for everyone. But when pushed too far over the edge, he can be a real Jerkass. He always snaps back relatively quickly, though.
** Sandy Cheeks also qualifies. She's pretty friendly and outgoing most of the time, but she's also rather aggressive and extremely good at karate.
* WesternAnimation/SuperRobotMonkeyTeamHyperforceGo: Nova is usually very nice and likable if feisty, until it's time for battle or Sprx's cockiness and flirting set her off.
* WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends: Emily in the new seasons. She's normally quite sweet until something sets her off. Usually when Mooks the trucks start giving her crap, Thomas acts like a BrattyHalfPint, James acts like a Jerkass, Gordon like an UpperClassTwit, or if she just gets Pun ideas above her station.
* WesternAnimation/Wayside: Maurecia is a GenkiGirl who is extremely friendly and liked by everyone in Wayside School. And she expresses her unrequited love for Todd by hitting him, constantly.
* WesternAnimation/XMenEvolution: Miss Jean Grey normally acts like a sweet and cheerful CoolBigSis towards the younger kids, but goes cranky when Scott or Duncan are around, though mostly when they're being idiots or butting heads. Then there's her hidden jealousy against Rogue or Taryn...

* WesternAnimation/Animaniacs:
** Minerva Mink. For the most part, she's Tsun-Tsun, but at the end of any of her skits, she'll go Dere-Dere towards an attractive male.
** A more extreme version is Katie Ka-Boom, a sweet girl who once frustrated, will literally prove that TeensAreMonsters and destroy her house.
* WesternAnimation/TheBackyardigans: Tasha might be one of those. Most of the time, she's bossy and wants everything her way, but during the "Giant Problem" episode she becomes a playful GenkiGirl Giant.
* WesternAnimation/Ballmastrz9009: Duleena Duneeda, AKA D.D. is effectively a parody of tsundere as her defining personality trait. Technically "deredere" by default, she will immediately fly into her particularly threatening and cartoonishly violent "tsuntsun" side for any reason. Or no apparent reason at all. Her introduction to the series is to sweetly hug her teammate Ace, and declare that another character isn't allowed to make fun of him, only to immediately snap, declare that only SHE can make fun of him, and proceed to piledrive Ace. Ace isn't even her boyfriend. That's a different teammate, Leto Otel, who she acts even crazier towards.
* WesternAnimation/Clarence: Chelsea is fairly friendly and sociable and in "Too Gross For Comfort". However, she is also very hot-tempered and blunt, saying whatever is on her mind no matter the situation.
* WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy: In "Dammit Janet", Stewie is initially Harsh with the titular Janet; immediately after falling in love, he hits her in a game of duck-duck-goose, denies any and all feelings for her, despite spying on her and knowing her eye color (proving Brian’s point that he’s in love with her), then accepts his feelings and becomes purely Sweet towards her until another child gives her a cookie and he gets jealous.
* WesternAnimation/FantasticFourWorldsGreatestHeroes: Sue went from being an extreme dere (a dere-mat, actually) to almost Harsh -- although with those three guys, it's understandable. This was probably spun off from her updated profile in the comics -- she's much more aggressive with her powers, to the point where she's now regarded as the most powerful member of the team.
* WesternAnimation/Futurama: Turanga Leela has a love for violence and hit mostly everyone at least once, besides her love interest Fry. She is usually Sweet but Fry makes her irritated often, especially in the beginning. His stupidness, annoyingness, and immaturity brings it out of her turning her Harsh. Leela at first didn't feel the same but as the series progressed, she fell in love with him, in part to Fry's persistence and also his consideration of her feelings.
-->Leela: Fry, you idiot! You noble idiot!
* WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries: Salem would come off as this depending on the situation. Despite his moments of self-absorption, he would try and lend Sabrina a helping paw, sometimes out of reluctance.
* WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryInc: Velma has become this, being sweet and romantic when she's alone with Shaggy but then becoming aloof and irritated when Scooby horns in.
* WesternAnimation/SymBionicTitan: Kimmy seems to go back and forth between both types. She's introduced to us as being rather cold and snobby, but she becomes sweeter as she warms up to Newton.

That's all, folks - and you. Back to Tsundere!
