* ActingForTwo: Creator/TaraStrong voices Dawn Swatworthy, Maggie's baby sister Bella, and her female cousins.
* DawsonCasting:
** All the teen and preteen characters are voiced by adult voice actors.
** This even extends to adult characters - Mrs. Pesky, who appears to be in her late 30s, is voiced by then-62-year-old Susan Tolsky.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The show hasn't aired on TV since 2008, only three episodes [[note]]("The Flyinator/Ladybugged","Bugsitting/Le Termite", and "The Candidate/Germy")[[/note]] were ever released on DVD via an '''extremely''' rare promotional kit, and it's currently not available on Creator/DisneyPlus. The only way to currently watch the show is on Website/YouTube. Two episodes also showed up on series director Creator/DaveWasson's website in the 16:9 aspect ratio but low quality, though sadly his site has since been closed and the domain has been cybersquatted.
** The series hasn't been aired, acknowledged or re-released since August 2008, making the chances of a home video release or availability on Disney+ very unlikely and most of the episodes that are online are low quality TV recordings from when the series still aired on Disney Channel, thank goodness for that, otherwise the series could've been considered lost media.
** Additionally, the high-quality (though still 4x3) prints of the three episodes from the one and only DVD release of the series have been posted, making those the only full episodes of the series to have been made available on Website/YouTube without any logo bugs on the screen.
* PlayingAgainstType:
** David Kaufman as Aldrin, who is Maggie's JerkJock [[BigBrotherBully older brother]].
** Creator/TaraStrong voices Dawn Swatworthy, an AlphaBitch.
* RealLifeRelative: In the Latin Spanish dub, Chauncey (Creator/ArturoMercado) and Aldrin (Creator/ArturoMercadoJr) are voiced by father and son.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Possibly the most screwed over in Disney Channel history:
** Disney Channel cancelled the series in August 2005 (when the show had been on the air for only two months and only aired nine episodes), despite good domestic ratings, [[http://seanszeles.blogspot.com/2005/08/buzz-on-maggie.html?showComment=1125599280000#c112559928859392636 because it did bad overseas]]. Disney also felt the UsefulNotes/AdobeFlash animation was a reason why the show didn't do so well.
** After the series ended the show only aired on the channel late at night until 2008 when it was pulled completely. The series also didn't reran on its sister network Toon Disney, with it airing on the channel only once in January 2007.
* StarMakingRole: While she has done some minor voice work before, Creator/JessicaDiCicco as Maggie is what put her on the voice acting map.
