2	** In the second episode of the Japanese version, the professor who explains plot points to the audience refers to Koon-no-Kami as Inari-no-Kami. The latter was [[WhatCouldHaveBeen his name early in the show's development.]] This line was eventually redubbed with the proper name.
3	** The opening for the dub misspells "Samurai", omitting the second "a". The singer also repeats the word "down" twice. There are rumors that he was drunk while singing:

5	** Episode 6, "Singing Samurai Sens'''a'''tion" was likely meant to be named "Singing Samurai Sens'''e'''ition" to keep the pun intact. The narrator even announces the episode name as the latter.
6	* ExecutiveMeddling: Early on, at least. Satoru Akahori mentions in a 1991 interview that in the show's early stages there was a lot of intervention from Bandai, including forcing them to add things in at the last minute. But by the latter half of the show, everyone, including the network, had essentially given the staff free rein of the series. The increasing level of freedom led to the show getting crazier as it progressed, and the ratings climbed accordingly. Formulaic elements at the beginning of the series were lessened as well, such as reliably-episodic appearances of the Rescue Team and the Supreme Catatonic, in favor of more flexible plot turnouts.
7	* FanTranslation: Because the game based on the show was not released in America, some fans took it upon themselves to make a translation of the game in the style of the English dub.
8	* ForeignDubAsBasis: The Italian dub of ''Anime/SamuraiPizzaCats'' is based on the English dub by Creator/SabanEntertainment. Hence the Italian dub being two episodes short of the original Japanese series - the English dub skipped those ones too.

15	* PlayingAgainstType: Guido's Japanese voice actor Creator/JurotaKosugi is usually known for his deep, masculine voice. Sukashii is a rare instance of him using a much higher, younger-sounding voice. Though in early episodes, he sometimes slips into his usual deep voice.
