Go To

* ActingForTwo: Alyson Kiperman plays both Taylor and her mother in a flashback to the former's childhood. It’s less notable than most examples, as her face isn't visible as the latter.
* ChannelHop: The first 26 episodes aired on Creator/FoxKids, with the remaining 14 airing on ABC Kids because of Creator/{{Disney}} acquiring the rights to the ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' franchise at the time. This enabled the producers to get away with a lot of the season's FamilyUnfriendlyViolence. They told the Fox Kids censors that Cole's parents would have later turned out to be alive. They then "neglected" to tell Disney that the death had ever happened, so they didn't have to keep the promise, leading to a season resolution where the gravesites of Cole's parents were shown and they were confirmed to be dead.
* CreatorsFavorite: Jessica Rey’s favourite episode was “A Father’s Footsteps”, due to the RealitySubtext mentioned below.
* DawsonCasting: Max is supposed to be a lot younger than the others even though he's played by an actor the same age as the rest of the actors. [[OlderThanTheyLook It's a little hard to tell, though.]]
* DeletedScene: A WhereAreTheyNow scene for Cole was filmed, showing his new life as a veterinarian, but ultimately went unused. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyjXCBYdqAY It can be found on YouTube.]]
* ExecutiveMeddling:
** Apparently, "Forever Red" was going to be a two-part episode that would have ended with the rangers summoning their respective Megazords to take down Serpentera together. Disney however did not like the idea of spending money to create the CG Zord footage as they didn't have toys to promote and told them to cut it into one episode as the team-up was just expensive in general[[note]][[HilariousInHindsight Ironically]], the proposed idea is ''exactly'' what happened in the closest ''Sentai'' equivalent, ''Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai'', and what would also happen in ''Film/GokaigerGoseigerSuperSentai199HeroGreatBattle'' in 2011, both bringing back all the old mechas on a budget by splicing in archival footage from past shows going all the way back to 1979's ''Series/BattleFeverJ''.[[/note]].
** More meddling came from Bandai, the company that produces ''Power Ranger'' toys. After Disney refused to fund "Forever Red", the writers asked Bandai for money. They agreed, but only if the episode promoted the Wild Force Rider toy, which is why Serpentera, Lord Zedd's most powerful superweapon, gets taken out by a motorcycle...
* FandomNod: Thanks to PromotedFanboy Amit Bhaumik being on the writing staff that year, the show featured a few references to other fans. For starters, Cranston Plaza was initially supposed to be Herndon Plaza (a reference to Jesse Herndon, alias [=SirStack=]), but [[http://powermorphiconforums.com/index.php?topic=10.0 it couldn't clear legal]]. But there was a "Herndon Labratories" in "The Master's Last Stand", so his name made it in any way. Another nod was "Reinforcements from the Future" naming the Time Force prison the "Funaro Maximum Security Prison", after another fan, Chris Funaro. And the Mut-Orgs all had [[SubliminalSeduction backward dialog]] that identified them by different names, all of which were modified names of other ''PR'' fans.
* FlipFlopOfGod: The location of Turtle Cove is stated to be, by at least two creators involved in the work, in Colorado or Oregon.
* HostilityOnTheSet: It was rumored that not all of the cast got on with each other. According to Jessica Rey, Ricardo Medina, Jr. was a bit full of himself, while Alyson Kiperman mostly kept to herself.
* TheOtherDarrin:
** Zen-Aku was voiced by Creator/DanWoren before being replaced with Creator/LexLang. Earlier still, Creator/{{David Lodge|AmericanActor}} was the voice of Zen-Aku in the episode preview of "Curse of the Wolf" but was ultimately replaced for unclear reasons. Woren would later get to voice Onikage in the season's closing storyline.
** In Jindrax's case, his human form seen in the first episode was performed by his suit actor, Danny Wayne Stallcup whereas Creator/RichardCansino provided the character's voice in his true Org form. After four episodes, however, Stallcup replaced Cansino because the latter's voice sounded too menacing for the character going forward. While on set, Danny would make impressions of Jindrax's voice which most of the crew found hilarious, so when they needed a new voice, they allowed him to dub the character as well as play him in person.
* PromotedFanboy: Prior to joining the staff of the show (and writing the episode "Forever Red"), Amit Bhaumik managed a popular ''Power Rangers'' fansite, the ''Power Rangers Online Archives''.
* PropRecycling:
** The Machine Empire generals in "[[Recap/PowerRangersWildForceForeverRed Forever Red]]" were re-purposed and slightly modified ''Series/{{Beetleborgs}}'' suits. While Venjix, Gerrok, and Tezzla use the straight Shadowborg, Green Hunter Borg, and Ladyborg suits as they are respectively, Steelon is a slightly modified Dragonborg suit (missing the dragonfly crest on the helmet), while Automon is a combination of the Fireborg and Lightningborg suits.
** Master Org's costume was reused (or at least heavily inspired) from [[BigBad Emperor Gorma XV]] of ''Series/GoseiSentaiDairanger'', who was replaced with Lord Zedd when its footage was brought over as part of ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'''s second season.
** The Mut-Orgs from "Reinforcements From The Future" were constructed from various other monster suits, most notably Deviot's monster form from ''Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy''. (Interestingly enough the original plan was for the Mut-Org suits to be reused from the Three Brother Orgs from ''Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger: The Fire Mountain Roars'', but the suits were destroyed in a fire before they could be exported).
* RealitySubtext:
** The episode "A Father’s Footsteps", focusing on how Alyssa went against her father’s expectations of being a martial artist to become a college student, mirrors Jessica Rey going against her mother’s wish for her to get a business degree to become an actress on Power Rangers. Though this is likely coincidental, as the episode’s plot was adapted from ''Gaoranger''.
** The final scene ([[spoiler:Shayla taking the Rangers' morphers, jackets, and all the Wild Zords onto the Animarium before departing to the sky again, implying that she will be returning to her slumber until a future generation of Wild Force Rangers is called]]) could double as this since this season was the last to be shot in North America and was intended to be the last season ever (hence the title "[[SeriesFauxnale The End of the Power Rangers]]") before Disney decided to move production to New Zealand, where it has been the filming location since.
* RoleReprise: In "Forever Red", Austin St. John reprises his role as Jason Lee Scott for the first time since ''Film/TurboAPowerRangersMovie'' in 1997.
* RomanceOnTheSet: Motoko Nagino’s work as a suit actress and stunt double for the ''Power Rangers'' franchise began with this season, with her marrying executive producer Creator/KoichiSakamoto the same year during ''Wild Force''’s airing and production after having met him on the set of ''Wicked Games''. She would eventually become the face actress and suit actress for the A-Squad Pink Ranger in ''Series/PowerRangersSPD''.
* RunningTheAsylum: Mostly when it comes to the team-ups (see, Administrivia/TropesAreNotBad.)
* TroubledProduction: The anniversary episode "[[Recap/PowerRangersWildForceForeverRed Forever Red]]" was rife with problems. Originally conceived as a cult attempting to revive Dark Specter, the need to use abandoned ''Series/BigBadBeetleborgs'' costumes and the want of a superweapon led to the usage of the Machine Empire and Serpentera. Scenes were filmed and cut out (including a bigger role for the Wild Force team outside of their brief cameo) and a major battle between classic Megazords and Serpentera were scuttled when Bandai insisted that Cole use a vehicle he gained just an episode earlier, leading to a Curbstomp Battle. Also, Danny Slavin had been dissatisfied with his show's treatment in their crossover on ''Lightspeed Rescue'', and only agreed to do it after most of the episode had already been shot. Hence his very late arrival, and the awkward bit where he demorphs just so the big morphing sequence can include all ten Rangers.
* UncreditedRole:
** Neither Scott Page-Pagter or David Walsh are credited for Steelon and Automon in ''Forever Red''. Similarly, Creator/{{David Lodge|AmericanActor}} goes uncredited for Kired of the Mut-Orgs despite having one for Takach.
** This is also the only season in the franchise's history not to credit a post-production studio[[note]]with Creator/ModernVideoFilm taking the credit before this point, and Creator/{{PRPVFX}} [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm starting next series]][[/note]], simply crediting the VFX supervisor.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: [[WhatCouldHaveBeen/PowerRangers Enough for its own page]]
* YouLookFamiliar: Gerald Okamura played Kai-Ogi in the ''[[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers]]'' episode "Along Came A Spider" before appearing as a martial artist in "A Father's Footsteps" six years later.
