2	** Many Pokéstar Studio opponents have Shiny variants that go unused. It's unknown if they were originally intended for any particular purpose, or if they were included to prevent the game from crashing if the opponents are hacked in as usable Pokémon.
3	** The removed Route 10 still exists in the game. It can be accessed by extensive hacking, but it's missing a fair amount of associated data (e.g. random encounter tables).
4	* TheOtherDarrin: Oddly enough, no voice actors from ''Anime/PokemonTheSeriesBlackAndWhite'' reprise their role in the animated trailer in either language. In the Japanese version, Bianca was voiced by Creator/AyanaTaketatsu instead of Creator/ShizukaIto, while Elesa was voiced by Creator/MiyukiSawashiro rather than Creator/YumikoKobayashi. As of the English dub, Eileen Stevens voiced Bianca instead of Creator/EricaSchroeder and Elesa was voiced by Sarah Natochenny instead of Eileen Stevens.
5	* UrbanLegendOfZelda: Many English-speaking fans believed that, in the Japanese versions of the games, [[spoiler: Ghetsis tries to impale and kill the player character using Kyurem's icicles (judging from the animation of the scene)]]. In the English version, [[spoiler: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgpYidVT65w he very clearly states his intent to freeze the player character alive]]]]. Fans believed that this was a NeverSayDie {{Bowdlerization}} until it was pointed out that Ghetsis' threat was unchanged from the original Japanese.[[note]]For those curious, his line in Japanese translates to "You will be frozen here and see the end of Unova! Kyurem! Glaciate!"[[/note]]
