* BuryYourArt: CN have pretty much erased all traces of this show, to the point where the show use to be lost media, until only recently, due to the fact that, even to this day, the show is not available to watch on any streaming site, and very few people actually recorded episodes of the show, back when it was still airing.
* CreatorBacklash: While he still looks back on the show's production fondly, co-creator Adam Pava freely admits that they lacked the budget, time, experience and talent to make a good show.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Although the show did get a DVD release, it only contains three episodes, and is now long out of print. There also used to be uploads of this show on Platform/YouTube, but they were taken down and never put back up for a long time. As of 2017, the movie at least turned up their on demand service, but so far, that's it.
** The American DVD promised to also include the Spanish and French dubs, but there was only English on the actual release.
** As of October 2023, the entire series is now on [=YouTube=] after someone released German airings of the remaining missing episodes that had the English audio for some reason.
* MissingEpisode: Nearly the entire show was this, at one point. For a while, due to Cartoon Network giving this show the ''WesternAnimation/AllenGregory'' treatment by removing the show from any and all streaming services, not giving it a DVD release (except for the UK, but even then, it only contained three of the show's episodes), and very few people archiving episodes of the show, only half of the show's episodes were available to watch online, while the other half could only be watched in foreign language dubs. It wasn't until as recent as 2023 that all of the show's episodes became available to watch in its original english audio, thanks to German airing of the remaining episodes.
* NetworkDecay: While Creator/CartoonNetwork had already started airing live-action programming by the point ''Re-Animated'' aired, it is nevertheless viewed as a major stepping stone towards this due to being their first live-action original series, and thus the beginning of their experimentation with such content throughout the late 2000s.
* NoExportForYou: A weird inverted example. As mentioned above, the show did get a DVD release, in spite of its unpopularity, but is only available to purchase in the UK, which isn't even the show's country of origin.
** Japan did not get the movie or the series.
* TheOtherDarrin: In the movie, Golly Gopher is voiced by Creator/PaulReubens and in the TV series, he is voiced by Creator/CarlosAlazraqui. Also, Craig and Robin were played by Micah Karns and Eunice Cho respectively in the movie, while in the TV series, they are played by Jon Kent Ethridge and Music/{{Tinashe}} respectively.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: It lasted only one season with 20 episodes in total, and shortly after airing its last episode, it was completely removed from both the network's schedule and its website.
* StarDerailingRole:
** Dominic Janes (Jimmy's actor) never picked up a decent career after starring in this show. He had a voice acting role in ''WesternAnimation/WolverineAndTheXMen2009'' and a minor role in ''Series/{{ER}}'', but after that, he more or less retired from acting.
** In fact, most of the live-action actors more or less fell off the face of the Earth after the series ended.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** [[https://imgur.com/a/E4CJNHi According to co-creator Adam Pava]], although the concept of the main character seeing cartoon characters after receiving a dead animator's brain was always intended from the beginning, the original pitch was mostly focused on satirizing and referencing elements of animation and animation history, with one proposed episode involving a send-up of Disney's ''Film/SongOfTheSouth''. When the movie was greenlit, Cartoon Network management insisted that the show instead be a more traditional KidCom, a normal kid and his life in both school and dealing with seeing the creations. Pava stated that Main/ExecutiveMeddling due to the networks' new leadership change as well as lack of budget, crew and time led to it's downfall.
** Also according to Pava, the shift to the animated characters being done by Cartoon Network Studio's in-house Flash animation team, as opposed to being outsourced to Creator/RenegadeAnimation, purely due to the network wanting to save on the budget.
