1* DuelingShows: In spite of being its equivalent in the Action Extreme Team lineup, it inevitably was one to WesternAnimation/StreetFighter. While neither one was particularly groundbreaking (unlike their games), Street Fighter at least was better animated and received both a second season and a DVD release (albeit it's now out of print).
2* PlayingAgainstType: Creator/ClancyBrown, normally a villain actor, playing a "good guy" in Raiden. It's one of only several of these types of roles he's done, with Captain Black from WesternAnimation/JackieChanAdventures,(also Super Moose in the same series; this show also features a ShockAndAwe character who is a villain this time, Tchang Zu the Thunder Demon, whose voice sounds like Clancy Brown's voice for Uka Uka somewhat; The Other Wiki credited the role to Creator/FrankWelker, but his name never showed up in the two episodes where Tchang Zu spoke) Sergeant Zim in Film/StarshipTroopers,This film's franchise tapped Romano for its animated adaptation ironically; also ironically, the lead actor from the film, Creator/CasperVanDien, became Johnny Cage in the second season of WebVideo/MortalKombatLegacy in 2013. a doctor in Film/CowboysAndAliens and Lt. Hank Anderson in VideoGame/DetroitBecomeHuman being some of the few other good examples. A particularly ironic case, as he's playing Raiden, who was played by Creator/ChristopherLambert in the film - i.e. an actor Brown famously antagonized.
3* ScrewedByTheNetwork: As with all the other original cartoons part of the Action Extreme Team, got screwed over when Creator/USANetwork decided to scrap their cartoon lineup, citing their lack of flow into the other shows they were airing at the time.
