* AdoredByTheNetwork: ''Atomic Betty'' enjoyed its time on its origin channel of Creator/{{Teletoon}} as one of the network's flagship series, becoming one of the network's longer running series and airing a lot throughout its lifespan. In fact, it was so much of a success that there were considerations for a revival/sequel show afterwards. It also had a bunch of merchandise such as a toyline, books, and a video game, something extremely rare for a Teletoon original series (they usually get [=DVDs=] at the most)
* ChannelHop: In the States, the first two seasons aired on Creator/CartoonNetwork, with the third season being picked up by Creator/TheHub a couple years later.
* ChildrenVoicingChildren: Betty's voice actress Creator/TajjaIsen wasn't much older than Betty herself at the time.
* CrossdressingVoices: Creator/LaurieElliott as Noah.
* DoItYourselfThemeTune: Creator/TajjaIsen, the voice of Betty, sings the show’s theme song.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: There are only two single-disc DVD volumes with random episodes from the first season, released only in North America and Japan. The only place you can get the entire series is on the French iTunes store, [[NoExportForYou so good luck purchasing it if you don't live in France]]. Creator/ShoutFactory was planning on releasing the series on DVD, but sadly postponed then cancelled its release due to rights issues, so you're stuck with reruns with the exception of the first two seasons, which was added to [=YouTube=] by [=marbleKids=] starting in 2019.
* InMemoriam: The Season 2 finale "Takes One to Know One" was dedicated to Minimus' original voice actor Creator/LenCarlson, who died in January 2006.
* OnlySoManyCanadianActors: A lot of familiar Toronto-based voice acting figures show up, such as Creator/LenCarlson, Creator/CatherineDisher, Creator/ColinFox, Creator/AdrianTruss, Creator/JayneEastwood, and Creator/TajjaIsen.
* TheOtherDarrin:
** Atomic Roger's voice actor, Creator/DwayneHill, took over as Minimus after Creator/LenCarlson passed away.
** Betty's grandfather was voiced by Creator/WilliamShatner in his first appearance, but in his second appearance he was voiced by Creator/GaryKrawford.
* RealLifeRelative: Paloma's little sister Juanita was voiced by Creator/NissaeIsen, the sister of Betty's voice actress, Creator/TajjaIsen.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: The show's fate on Creator/CartoonNetwork. Started off on as one of the key shows on their Creator/{{Miguzi}} block before being punted around the schedule over the course of a year, eventually ending up in a early morning shift where barely anyone was awake to watch it.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** Betty was originally intended to be a 8 year old instead of a 12 year old, as seen in [[https://web.archive.org/web/20200908033054/https://www.gulli.fr/Chaine-TV/Dessins-animes/Atomic-Betty/Personnages these two]] pieces of development art. All her space missions would have taken place at night, with her parents dismissing her adventures as dreams she had of her toys and their pets (hence why Maximus and [=DeGill=] resemble Purrsy and the goldfish in Betty's room respectively).
** As revealed in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK73AbYQGRA this original concept trailer]] from Creator/AtomicCartoons (which noticeably uses a different animation style with thinner outlines), Sparky and X-5 were originally going to assume the form of toys that Betty had in her room during the day and transform into their true selves whenever Betty took off for her mission. This seems to have been around the same stage of development as the above info regarding Betty's original age and when her adventures took place, as Betty is shown having to wake up at night and change to her Galactic Guardian outfit from her nightdress.
** A sequel series called ''Atomic Betty Redux'' was in development, starring the teenage Betty from the series finale, but it got stuck in DevelopmentHell before being scrapped entirely due to lack of interest from Creator/AtomicCartoons' production partners.
* WordOfGod: According to a staff member behind Atomic Betty, after the events of the series finale "The Future Is Now", [[TheFellowshipHasEnded Betty, Sparky and X-5 had separated themselves to focus on their own lives]].
