2	** Like in the original series, Phil, Lil, and their mother are voiced by Creator/KathSoucie.
3	** Likewise, Creator/MichaelBell once again voices Chas, Drew, and Boris.
4	* TheCastShowOff: Susie is made into an aspiring singer, giving Creator/CreeSummer even more of a chance to show off her singing talents than ''Rugrats'' did. Outside of voice acting, she's also released an album.
5	* ChannelHop: In France, if they didn't know better, they probably wouldn't even have known the show was a spinoff of Rugrats when it premiered in France in 2004. ''All Grown Up!'' aired on [=TF1=], while ''Rugrats'' had been airing on France 3, a completely different channel, since 1998. As a result, French viewers would probably think the characters having the same names was just a coincidence, and that they weren't one and the same. The connection likely wouldn't become clear until ''Saving Cynthia'' aired in France on January 19, 2005. Beforehand, viewers in France would have believed the Angelica Pickles in ''All Grown Up!'' never owned a Cynthia doll, despite her being the same character from Rugrats, but older.
6	* CrossDressingVoices: As in the original series, Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Dil are all voiced by women.

8	** Both Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo have stated ([[OrSoIHeard though not fully confirmed]]) that if they return, they would rather write more ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'', than return to ''WesternAnimation/AllGrownUp'', due to the fact that [[ExecutiveMeddling they were pretty much forced to do this show.]]
9	** Paul Germain isn't fond of the spin-off either. He has stated that he thought the idea of a spin-off where the babies were in their grown-up years made no sense because the original series was about the world from a baby's perspective.
10	* DuelingWorks: As a result of the Rugrats characters being aged up, ''All Grown Up'' got into a duel with ''WesternAnimation/AsToldByGinger''. In fact, there were brief ideas to tackle more mature themes with the ''Rugrats'' characters in middle school, but they opted to keep things relatively light-hearted - as ''As Told By Ginger'' was already dealing with those themes.
11	* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Most of Season 1 and a few episodes of the next two seasons were released on DVD. Reruns ceased to air on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons in 2013. The entire series was released on DVD in Region 4 in 2018. Rescued when it became available to stream on Creator/ParamountPlus in 2021.
12	* KidsMealToy: Wendy's released a set of five toys in their Kids' Meals in 2004.
13	* IronyAsSheIsCast: In this show, Angelica is a terrible singer (or at least pales in comparison to Susie). As episodes of the previous series shows, her voice actress Cheryl Chase is a gifted singer herself.
14	* MeaningfulReleaseDate: The season 1 episode "Lucky 13" was held over from airing until August 11, 2004, which marked the 13th anniversary of when ''Rugrats'' had premiered. A few season ''2'' episodes premiered before "Lucky 13".
15	* SameVoiceTheirEntireLife: A natural result of the ''Rugrats'' babies' voice actresses reprising their characters aged up.
16	* ScheduleSlip: A year went by between the first two episodes of season four. Another year went by between the second and third episodes of the same season, after which the rest of the series was burned off on a daily basis for three weeks until it was pulled again with three episodes left. Those three were aired nine months later.
17	* ScrewedByTheNetwork: The last episodes were shoved into a time slot that made it difficult for audiences to catch them, and heavily delayed.
18	* UnisexSeriesGenderedMerchandise: Unlike previous ''Rugrats'' merchandise, which was aimed at all genders (save for the ''Totally Angelica'' toyline), the merchandise for ''All Grown Up'' was aimed at girls.

20	** The ''All Growed Up'' special was planned as simply another episode of ''Rugrats''. However, when the special aired and got such high ratings, the network were convinced they had to do a full show.
21	** Another spin-off was planned involving the Carmichaels moving to Atlanta. In fact, the Kwanzaa special of ''Rugrats'' was a PoorlyDisguisedPilot (which is why Aunt T never appears past it). They ultimately decided to keep Susie in the main series, and she was incorporated into this.
