[[caption-width-right:256:Some Kongs like their bananas a bit too much.]]
----
* ''VideoGame/OneHundredPercentOrangeJuice'': QP really loves pudding. So much so that her subtitle (Seeker of Pudding) reflects this, and her story mode has her chasing after Marie Poppo, who has stolen her pudding.
* ''VideoGame/AlwaysRememberMe'': The protagonist loves ice cream, sometimes even dreaming of a world made of the stuff.
* ''VideoGame/ArcanaHeart'': The Demon King Mike can be bribed by [[CuteWitch Yoriko]] with doughnuts, more specifically French crullers. Where he puts them away since he's trapped in the form of a staff is anyone's guess.
* When you look at ''VideoGame/{{ARMS}}'', it's not surprising there are at least 3 fighters that have a favourite food. One having a favorite drink.
** [[BigEater Spring Man]] ''straight up'' loves pizza, according to his profile. The bio mentions he can eat 12 pies of them in one sitting as well and he is even seen enjoying a slice in one of the official artwork.
** [[AnimeChineseGirl Min Min]] loves ramen. If her [[AlienHair ramen hair]] and [[EdibleBludgeon ramen noodle ARMS]] isn't blatant enough, she's a {{Mascot}} at a resturant called Mintendo Noodle House. Her bio states she enjoys her mother's ramen and she is also seen eating it in an official gallery after fighting. [[DownplayedTrope However]] in the Japanese bio, it says she's [[WeightWoe on a diet]] regarding her weight.
** [[MsFanservice Twintelle]] seems to have tea. Especially noticeable in one of two possible victory animations. She also has tea in her trailer and on her visual.
** [[FightingClown Lola Pop]] loves candy according to her profile.
** Main announcer/mascot Biff also loves noodles, to the point he expresses jealousy of not having ramen noodle ARMS like Min Min.
* ''VideoGame/AtelierSeries'':
** Rorona from ''VideoGame/{{Atelier Rorona|The Alchemist of Arland}}'' loves eating and baking pies. Her TricksterMentor, Astrid, has barred her from using the alchemy workshop for baking, but when she hands the workshop over, Rorona is able to make as many pies as she wants (without her master's permission, of course). One of the endings has Rorona becoming the "Pie Master". Additionally, in ''Totori'', her [[OurHomunculiAreDifferent homunculi]] need pies to stay motivated, or else they won't work.
** In ''VideoGame/{{Atelier Totori|The Adventurer of Arland}}'', Totori loves fish, perhaps due to living in a fishing village.
** Meruru of ''VideoGame/AtelierMeruru'''s favorite food is mushrooms. Considering how she's a princess, this may be a reference to [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Princess Toadstool and the Mushroom Kingdom]]. Her love of mushrooms is so deep that one of her ultimate items is a mushroom-shaped FantasticNuke.
** In ''VideoGame/AtelierEschaAndLogy'', Escha was raised in an apple orchard, so she loves apples. She can make a wide variety of apple-based pastries, some of which have powerful healing effects.
** Although the titular heroine of ''VideoGame/AtelierSophie'' isn't associated with a specific food, one of the party members, Corneria, drinks enormous quantities of milk every day. This is not only because she likes milk, but also to help her grow in order to counteract the side effect of her duplication alchemy (which makes her shrink slightly every time she uses it).
** Violet from ''VideoGame/AtelierVioletTheAlchemistOfGramnad2'' loves carrots. She originally planned to make her shop based on “carrot cuisine” and refuses to move anywhere that carrots don’t grow. [[{{Flanderization}} Flanderized]] even further in ''VideoGame/TrinityUniverse'', her [[MarthDebutedInSmashBros only appearance outside Japan]].
* ''VideoGame/BackyardSports'': Kimmy Eckman ''loves'' candy, to the point that her nickname in one of the games is “Candy Monster”. She’s seen eating loads of candy in the credits for ''Backyard Baseball 2003'' and ''Backyard Soccer''.
* ''VideoGame/BaldursGateII'': The Jansen Family (such as your party member Jan) is obsessed with turnips, as are all gnomes. Jan even claims that turnip beer has medicinal properties.
* ''VideoGame/{{Bayonetta}}'' can craft a number of healing items, all of which are lollipops.
* ''VideoGame/BestFiends'': Howie the Lizard's favorite food was Slugs (specifically, common black ones). This is actually the reason he's a part of the Fiends, thanks to the Slugs going crazy and starting their attack.
* ''Franchise/BlazBlue'':
** Carl Clover loves cookies according to his official profile.
** Hazama just loves hard-boiled eggs. To the point where he shallows them whole, to compliment his [[AnimalMotifs snake theme]].
** In other material and hinted in ''Radio/BlazBlueRadio'', Ragna is fond of a type of udon called "tentama udon" (heaven jewel udon).
** Due to the way her robotic mind works, Es literally equates pudding with happiness.
** Mai Natsume, being a supertaster, is very particular about what she eats, such that her favorite food is anything Noel cooks. Bear in mind that Noel's cooking is '''[[LethalChef SO BLOODY TERRIBLE]]''' that it is used as punishment by the Military Academy.
** Taokaka loves her meat buns, though she’s rather food-obsessed in general, to the point that in her mind, anyone who gives her food is automatically a good person.
* ''VideoGame/BlossomTalesTheSleepingKing'': For many in the game, mushroom soup. It's also an item that instantly restores your Special gauge.
* ''VideoGame/BoxxyQuestTheGatheringStorm'': Most of the healing items Catie uses are based on the real Catie Wayne's favorite foods, or on dishes that she made in her cooking vlogs. The list includes banana-nut muffins, seafood, Froot Loops, and pesto pizza.
* ''VideoGame/ABoyAndHisBlob'': The Blob loves jellybeans. They're not just tasty to him -- they help him transform into lots of things. In the 2009 game, his planet, Blobolonia, is even shown to be bean-shaped, and all of his fellow blob-people love to be given jellybeans as well.
* ''VisualNovel/BrassRestoration'': Minori loves rice. That might be partly because [[OneNoteChef that's all she can cook]].
* In ''VideoGame/{{Bugsnax}}'', this is an important gameplay mechanic. You can collect various condiments, and use your Sauce Slinger to splatter them onto surfaces and items. Different types of Bugsnax love certain types of sauce, and are irresistibly drawn to them. Catching a Bugsnak often involves using sauce as bait to lure them towards your trap.
* Downplayed in ''VideoGame/CampfireCatCafeAndSnackBar''. When you first get a new type of customer, they will always order the same food, which will be something you just unlocked on your menu, and which you have to buy in order to serve it to them. Once you buy that food and serve it to the customer, you've basically "unlocked" that customer. Once a customer is unlocked, they will sometimes order other foods besides their original order.
* ''Franchise/CarmenSandiego'': This is a staple of the original games; the culprit's favorite food is one possible clue to finding out who he or she is. (Carmen herself likes tacos and Mexican food in general.)
* ''VideoGame/{{Catherine}}'': Katherine seems to like pastries, as every time she goes to Chrono Rabbit (with the exception of Day 6), she orders cake, usually strawberry.
* In ''VideoGame/ChicoryAColorfulTale'', Slushie asks Pizza to help her set up a beach party in hopes that the guests can bring her her favorite drink, fizz (soda pop). [[spoiler:However, nobody brings any when the party actually starts.]]
* ''VideoGame/{{Contact}}'': You get to input your favorite food. You'll see it referenced many times by other characters; in particular, the "soda" item will always be "#FOOD flavored". If your favorite food is apples? Okay, sure. If your favorite food is fish 'n' chips? [[ForeignQueasine Um, ewww]].
* ''VideoGame/DarkChronicle'': Max, one of the protagonists, loves potato pies, a treat his mother used to make for them. They appear in-game as consumable items that increase his maximum HP.
* ''VideoGame/DeadlyPremonition'': Mr. Stewart (or perhaps Michael) apparently can't get enough of the [[GreasySpoon A&G Diner's]] turkey, strawberry jam, and cereal sandwich, which York dubs the Sinner's Sandwich (because he thinks only someone atoning for some kind of crime would voluntarily eat one). He goes back on his opinion when Mr. Stewart convinces him to try it, and turns out it's ''really'' good.
* ''VideoGame/DeepRockGalactic'': While the dwarves naturally enjoy liquor in many forms, food-wise they often state a love of sandwiches, remarking on going for a sandwich after a tough job, or their equipment screen talking about having to give up sandwich storage space in order to carry more ammo. This is probably due to the dwarves' job consisting heavily of manual labor, and sandwiches are a foodstuff associated with blue-collar workers.
* ''VideoGame/DeusEx'':
** ''VideoGame/DeusExNihilum'': Mad Ingram sure likes his ham sandwiches. One stressful scene has him refer to them as if they were alcoholic drinks.
** Adam Jensen of ''[[VideoGame/DeusExHumanRevolution Human Revolution]]'' and ''[[VideoGame/DeusExMankindDivided Mankind Divided]]'' really likes breakfast cereal. You can find boxes littered about his apartment and his office at [=TF29=].
* ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry'': Pizza with no olives for Dante, to the point where Morrison gets him to do a job for him by convincing his favourite pizza place to stop delivering to him until he pays his tab. In the first novel tie-in, which occurs before [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry1 the first game]] but got [[ContinuityReboot booted out of canon]] because of [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry3DantesAwakening the third game]], he also loves strawberry sundaes. The strawberry sundae becomes a DiscontinuityNod in [[Anime/DevilMayCryTheAnimatedSeries the anime]], where he [[LostFoodGrievance gets pissed]] after Patty eats his. He also likes tomato juice in the prequel manga of ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry3DantesAwakening''.
* ''VideoGame/DevilWorld'': Tamagon likes to eat ice cream cones, though they do nothing in the game but give points.
* ''Franchise/{{Disgaea}}'':
** Etna has a fondness for a special pudding that comes from the Sea of Gehenna. She gets into fights when Laharl[[note]]he does so twice, in ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 2|CursedMemories}}'' and ''VisualNovel/DisgaeaInfinite''[[/note]], or anyone else, tries to steal it.
** [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Valvatorez]] of ''VideoGame/Disgaea4APromiseUnforgotten'' loves sardines, a food he developed a fondness for in place of blood after deciding to stop drinking the stuff due a certain incident. He's quite prone talking about how great they are, especially in the OnTheNext segments, and "Sardine power!" is one of his {{catchphrase}}s.
** The inhabitants of Toto Bunny from ''[[VideoGame/{{Disgaea5}} Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance]]'' love carrots. Usalia, too... until Majorita cursed her. [[spoiler:The nature of the curse, which gradually turns her into a berserk beast, can only be staved off by her least favorite food (curry), while her favorite at the time (carrots) accelerates it, hence she gives an air of hating carrots to keep the curse in check.]] Over time, she came to love curry to the point where it became her favorite food[[spoiler:, or at least she made herself love it at first after her parents were killed]].
* ''Franchise/DonkeyKong'': The Kongs have a collective obsession with bananas, going so far as to [[VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry hoard them and go to great lengths to recover them]].
* ''VideoGame/DragonAgeOrigins'': Alistair admits to "an unholy love of fine cheeses". He never actually has the opportunity to eat any cheese during the game, but the fandom nevertheless has fun with this.
* ''VideoGame/DragonQuestV'': Sancho, who is portrayed in the English translation as a rather wince-worthy Spanish stereotype, loves his paella and his tortilla.
* ''VideoGame/DynastyWarriors'': Sima Shi is crazy about meat buns, to the point where he chases his brother for eating it in the ''7: Xtreme Legends''. Then in the expansion of the eight game, he orders his brother, sister-in-law, and two of his loyal retainers to find the ingredients for the perfect meat bun. Even in the crossover game, ''VideoGame/WarriorsOrochi 3'', he and Date Masamune beat up a bunch of officers just find the culprit who stole their meat buns.
* In ''VideoGame/DwarfFortress'', every dwarf has randomly-generated alcohol and food preferences, and eating a meal with their preferred foods will give them a happy thought. These preferences can be for any food in the game (with different generation probabilities for different types), so you could have one dwarf who likes beef, cow cheese, mead, and flour and another dwarf who likes alligator meat and lychee wine.
* ''VideoGame/EagleEyeMysteries'': Most of the local kids in the first game love pizza, and in particular Mark Moriarty and Dave Grant are noted for having eaten a Pig Lovers' Pizza, which is made with ham, sausage, and Canadian bacon.
** Minor character, clumsy jeweller’s assistant Melinda Joost likes ice cream.
** Nigel Eagle in the sequel enjoys fish and chips. And nothing will stop him from getting some when he can.
* ''Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes'': Each character [[https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rabbitandbearstudios/eiyuden-chronicle-hundred-heroes unveiled on Kickstarter thus far]] has had their favorite foods specified. For example, Garr likes pancakes slathered with whipped cream, Perielle likes tomato-and-cheese sandwiches, Yuferius likes avocado sushi, Seign likes poached eggs, and so on.
* ''VideoGame/EldenRing'': Torrent likes rowa raisins and eating them restores his health. He especially likes the sweet raisins made from golden rowa and enjoys crunching on the frozen raisins made from rimed rowa, and both of these restore his health more than basic raisins.
* ''Franchise/TheElderScrolls'':
** Sheogorath, the [[OurGodsAreDifferent Daedric Prince]] of [[MadGod Madness]], has cheese. His Daedric quest in ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIVOblivion Oblivion]]'' requires it, he constantly speaks about it, including several memorable lines involving [[MemeticMutation "cheese for everyone!" quickly followed by "cheese for no one!"]] in the ''Shivering Isles'' expansion, and in his ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim Skyrim]]'' appearance, he has cheeses set out on a banquet table before him. Given his [[MadHatter overt madness]] and [[AGodAmI divine status]], this isn't simply a fondness for eating cheese, but more like a surreal, platonic affection for the stuff. It's also implied in ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsOnline'' that he might just find the word itself funny to say.[[note]]Which makes sense, given that Sheogorath is 50% dementia and paranoia, and 50% whatever amuses himself at the moment.[[/note]]
** [[CatFolk Khajiit]] have Moon Sugar, a FantasticDrug similar in properties and appearance to real life cocaine, plus an extremely sweet taste. They add it to nearly all of their food, to the point where outlanders in Elsweyr are warned against eating the native food. The "Den Mothers" who control Moon Sugar production are some of the most powerful individuals in Khajiiti society as a result.
* ''VideoGame/EnsembleStars'': Several characters have clear favorites in the game:
** Hokuto loves konpeito, an old-fashioned Japanese star-shaped sweet, relating both to Trickstar's starry theme and Hokuto's devotion to his grandmother.
** Adonis is always encouraging others to eat meat so they'll become stronger, but he has a special love for kebabs from his home country. However, his favourite food is actually the Japanese anpan.
** Kanata adores fish of all kinds, and that applies to eating as well, because when you eat fish you become one with them. As Souma is his usual cook, and his junior in the Marine Bio Club, he's associated with eating fish as well, to the extent where there was apparently a rumour around school about some guy who was keeping a whole load of fish in the kitchen fridge. Kanata also slathers everything he eats in soy sauce.
** Mitsuru is a simple-minded kid who is defined by his love of two things: running, and bread.
** Hinata loves sweet foods of all kinds, while Yuuta doesn't like them at all, much preferring spicy foods such as curries. However, Hinata actually invokes this trope: he deliberately made himself like sweet things to complement and distinguish himself from his twin brother.
** Tetora introduces himself for the first time to the audience (both in-universe and out) by proclaiming his love for galbi, a Korean barbecue beef dish.
** Rei's is tomato juice; despite claiming to be a vampire, he says that he actually doesn't like the taste of blood. His brother Ritsu, however, ''does''.
** Shu loves croissants, and is very particular about them.
** Midori is interesting in that he's commonly associated with vegetables, as his parents are grocers, but he really just eats them out of convenience and doesn't have any particular preference food-wise.
* ''VideoGame/FableII'': Everyone in the game has an object/gift they like, and about half of those are food. Doing things people like will make them like you more, and thus give you better discounts at stores.
* ''VideoGame/FantasticNightDreamsCotton'': Cotton has candies called "Willows" as her favorite food. It’s her goal to get some in the first game and her fairy sidekick Silk gets her to help save the kingdom by promising her some.
* ''Franchise/FarCry''
** ''VideoGame/FarCry5'': Cheeseburger the bear has salmon as his, and he will follow you around if you give him a salmon and pet him a little. Cheeseburger got his name from where he was found as an abandoned cub, namely scavenging in the dumpster behind the local burger joint for discarded cheeseburgers. However, his fondness for burgers gave him "the diabeetus", so the local wildlife centre put him on a strict salmon diet to get his blood sugar under control.
** ''VideoGame/FarCry6'': In a similar vein, Chorizo the daschund is recruited by making and feeding him his favorite dish, "Jambalaya in the Style of Chorizo." It's made primarily with crocodile meat, which his owner Philly says Chorizo loves the most.
* ''VideoGame/FatalFury'': Characters have their favorite foods listed on their profiles. Some examples are:
** Jubei Yamada's favorite food is Hot Spring-boiled eggs, but he also seems to love ''senbei'' rice crackers. He is often pictured with one and also [[ImprobableWeaponUser uses them as a weapon]].
** Geese Howard's favorite is rare steak.
** One of Mai Shiranui's favorite dishes is ''ozouni'', a rice cake soup served on new year's day. This follows some theme of sorts, as Mai's birthday is on new year's day, and a lot of the things she is stated to like are related to it.
** Kain R Heinlein of ''[[VideoGame/GarouMarkOfTheWolves Mark of the Wolves]]'' loves apple pie.
* ''VideoGame/FatPrincess'': The titular princesses ''love'' cake. This is weaponized in ''VideoGame/PlayStationAllStarsBattleRoyale'', where she crushes her enemies as a Super attack in an attempt to get one. Pity the poor soul that got caught between her and that cake.
* ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'':
** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII'': Zell Dincht and the cafeteria hot dogs, which are always sold out. They're filled breads in the Japanese version, explaining that big pile of them he has at the end.
** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXI'': This became a trend among the actual player base back in the game's heyday. Due to most mobs worth killing being staggeringly difficult to kill, and some food items providing impressively potent buffs, ''everyone'' ate food of one sort or another when exping or running endgame stuff. Certain classes gravitated towards particular foods:
*** Melee damage dealers at lower levels would wolf down Meat Mithkabobs like candy for the relatively high attack bonus they'd give at lower levels. At later levels, they would switch to Coeurl Subs, which increased attack by a lower percentage than the Mithkabobs, but had a much higher max cap to the buff.
*** Tanks preferred Fish Mithkabobs for the defensive bonus at lower levels. At higher levels, Tavnazian Tacos were so ubiquitous among tanks that no one bothered to specific which taco they were talking about when they said "taco".[[note]]Their penchant for [[AccidentalInnuendo eating tacos]] naturally also led to a shitload of jokes.[[/note]]
*** Black Mages liked pie. All pies in the game boost INT to some degree, allowing their offensive spells to get resisted less frequently and generally hit harder. Mages of all stripes would also drink lots of fruit juices, with them giving an MP regeneration buff.
** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIV'':
*** [[FishPeople Sahagin]] love fruit, citrus especially, as it's a rare treat for them to be able to get some from the surface when they spend most of their lives underwater.
*** During the Saint Valentione's event of 2023, Urianger reveals his favorite food is cocatrice meatballs. Not only does he like the taste, they bring back fond memories of Moenbryda learning how to cook them.
*** Urianger is also maybe one of the only people in the world to actually enjoy [[NondescriptNastyNutritious Archon Loaf]], finding it nostalgic of happier days in the Studium. When the meal is first introduced in 5.3, the other scions begrudgingly take it because they know they need it for their health, but Urianger is the only one openly excited about the delivery.
*** During his stay in Kugane, Estinien grows fond of a delicacy called ''surume ika'', a local variety of squid either sun-dried or seared. Following the events of ''Shadowbringers'', Estinien asks the Warrior of Light to see if their contacts at the Aldenard East Trading Company would be able to ship him some. In ''Endwalker'', an octopus-like boss that shoots poison makes him think of ''surume ika'', bemoaning that he'd have rations for a month were it a squid. The description for Thavnairian Calamari says that Estinien has become a local legend for buying an enormous supply of it to keep him satiated on [[spoiler:the trip to the edge of the universe]].
*** [[spoiler:An amnesiac Yotsuyu]] shows a great fondness for dango, sweet dumplings made of rice flour. Gosetsu is dismayed by this fact because she keeps spending what little money they have to their names on sweets. While Hien explains [[spoiler:Tsuyu]]'s condition to Asahi, he quips that she spends her days dreaming of dango.
*** PlayedForDrama for the patients of the Inn at Journey's Head. The Inn is a clinic for people infected by [[LightIsNotGood too much light aether]] as it slowly turns them into [[AngelicAbomination sin eaters]]. Those working at the Inn tend to the afflicted, trying to ease their burdens in day-to-day life. When they're close to completing their transformation, the innkeepers will give them a PrisonersLastMeal of their favorite food that's been poisoned to give them a MercyKill.
*** In the post-story for ''Shadowbringers'', Ryne develops a taste for the coffee biscuits served at the Crystarium, endlessly chattering away about them with Gaia and pestering her until they can go and eat them together.
*** According to his wife Ameliance, Fourchenault Leveilleur genuinely enjoys Archon Loaf just like Urianger. She quips that if left to his own devices, he'd eat so much of the nutrient-rich food that he'd turn to fat if she weren't cooking more balanced meals for him.
*** Hermes loves candied apples. Whenever he does eat, he always gets one, to the point that a colleague of his worries about his unbalanced diet.
*** Metion ''thinks'' her favorite food is candied apples. She's actually TheNeedless and doesn't eat food. But because she's TheEmpath and can feel other people's emotions like they were her own, she felt such second-hand joy from Hermes when he ate candied apples that she was convinced they were her favorite too.
*** Zero likes spicy food since trying some spicy buuz in Garlemald. Zero doesn't know how to properly parse or describe tastes, either from her biology as a [[HumanDemonHybrid half-voidsent]] or [[TimeAbyss millennia of not eating food]], but she enjoys the sensation spices have on her mouth when she eats. By the events of Patch 6.4, she has become a regular at Mehryde's Meyhane and usually orders curry. Her particular blend, however, qualifies as BlazingInfernoHellfireSauce and leaves half the patrons unconscious when she offers it to everyone.
** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXV'': Each character has a few foods that they particularly enjoy. Eating them will enhance their abilities afterwards:
*** Noctis enjoys comfort food and homecooked meals, as well as a cake that his fiancee would cook for him.
*** Gladiolus, being an outdoorsman, loves game meat cooked over an open fire and seasoned with herbs and spices. He also loves preserved goods, ''especially'' Cup Noodles (so much so that [[ProductPlacement there is an entire sidequest dedicated to singing their praises]]).
*** Ignis, being the team's cook and gifted with a refined pallet, can bake cakes over campfires. He also harbors a fondness for fast food and black coffee.
*** Prompto enjoys anything spicy, and is also a connoisseur of junk food.
* ''Franchise/FireEmblem'':
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemPathOfRadiance'': Ike is fond of meat. This does come up a few times in the games, but the way Japanese fan artists depict him constantly eating caveman-style slabs of it would make you think it was the meaning of his existence.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'':
*** The thief Gaius has an infamous SweetTooth, to the point that when Chrom asks him to join in, he at first says "I will if you sweeten the deal"... [[HilarityEnsues and he]] [[ExactWords means it]].
*** Olivia also loves sweets, as seen in both her supports with Gaius (who makes her the beta tester for his pies) and Kellam (where she uses the honey he gives her to make rock candy).
*** According to his and Cordelia's supports, Lon'qu's favorite food is cabbage stew.
*** The Avatar's supports with Tharja imply that they like liver and eel pie. She gets the Avatar to try some as they get ever closer to being wed. The Avatar also seems very fond of bear meat.
*** According to Female Morgan's C support with her sibling, her favorite food is bear meat. Her [[TrademarkHatedFood least favorite food]]? Veggies, though she doesn't seem to mind them now.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemFates'': When the Avatar collects produce from the food tiles, the character next to these spots will probably speak about their favorite foods. (ie., Azura likes strawberries, Selena gushes about fruits and especially red apples, Setsuna mentions loving watermelons and tofu, Hinata likes either meat or rice and fish, Subaki likes juicy yet slightly sour fruit, etc.) Plus, some supports are centered on similar deals: Sakura's SweetTooth is mentioned in her talks with Hayato and Saizo, Saizo's supports with Mozu involve him telling her about his love of a ''specific'' seafood dish, Dwyer is obsessed with coffee, etc.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemEchoesShadowsOfValentia'':
*** One of the mid-game quests involve meeting a Cheese Lover (yes, that's his name!) and finding a ''very'' rare type of cheese for him.
*** The player can gather some food items and feed them to some characters to relieve them from fatigue; the more they like it, the better the results (like feeding Mae [[SweetTooth cookies]]).
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses'' gives each character preferences for particular kinds of foods and dishes, some of which can be given as gifts, and[=/=]or feature prominently in their supports. Some examples include:
*** Petra: Meat. She reacts well to being given Smoked Meat as a gift.
*** Ferdinand and Lorenz: Tea. It is such that their supports have them bond over a shared appreciation of tea.
*** Bernadetta: Cake, which she will sneak out of her self-imposed isolation to partake in ([[ShrinkingViolet so long as no one notices]]).
*** Raphael: Meat, practically to the exclusion of all else.
*** Lysithea: [[GeniusSweetTooth Sweets, particularly cakes.]]
*** Flayn: ''Fish!'' Her love of fish, owed to her growing up with a mother who loved fishing, is practically memetic.
*** Hapi: Meat and fish in equal measure. She especially enjoys Small Fish Skewers, [[BizarreTasteInFood a dish noted for its dry texture and muddy aftertaste which everyone else dislikes]].
* ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys'': Appropriately for a mascot of a kids' pizza place, pizza is [[BigEater Chica's]] favorite food. [[EatingMachine This even applies to animatronic versions of Chica.]]
* ''VideoGame/FossilFighters'': Professor Diggins loves [[GeniusSweetTooth all kinds of sweets]], but his especial favorite are dino cakes, a kind of dinosaur-shaped snack cake. At one point, you have to make a snack run for him in order to advance the plot.
* ''VideoGame/GuiltyParty'': The Commodore is an obsessive lover of pudding. He spends most of his vast fortune on it. This is actually a plot point, as [[spoiler:the golden artifacts left by his archnemesis Mr. Valentine end up being pudding-related]]...
* ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon'': Most of your potential marriage partners in the series have a particular favorite foodstuff that will raise their [[RelationshipValues affection levels]] much faster than normal:
** ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonDS'': Muffy is inordinately fond of apple pie.
** Rick from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonFriendsOfMineralTown'' loves Spa-Boiled Eggs, and in one of his Heart Events, he tells you this and shows you how to make them.
** ''Several'' characters from the series love Ultimate and Finest Curry, which also happen to be some of the hardest items to cook in the games they appear in. Both curries are treated as an ImpossiblyDeliciousFood.
** Klaus from ''[[VideoGame/HarvestMoonANewBeginning A New Beginning]]'' loves macaroni. His favorite food is pasta salad, but he also has an infamous cutscene where he goes off on how macaroni isn't just good, it's ''the ultimate foodstuff'' because it's a reflection on the human condition. [[SupremeChef Clement]] is disturbed.
** Unique among the massive cast in the series is the Harvest Goddess, who has the same favorite food (strawberries) in every game she's appeared in.
** In ''VideoGame/StoryOfSeasons2014'', each of the villagers (including the twelve potential LoveInterests) have one of these. Presenting the favorite food is the fastest way to raise that character's friendship level.
** From the SpinOff ''VideoGame/RuneFactory'':
*** Mist from the first ''VideoGame/RuneFactory1'' loves turnips. A lot. It's her favorite gift, thus making her the easiest person to become close to. Later games in the series have a new variety called Pink Turnips, and it's implied ''she bred them into existence''.
*** ''VideoGame/RuneFactory3'': Pia's favorite food, squid, stems not from love of the food but from hatred of it.
----> '''Pia:''' So you see, squids are evil. I will eat them. [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments I will eat them ALL.]]
*** ''VideoGame/RuneFactory4'': Dolce has a fondness for baked sweats, especially pumpkin flan, a dish her mother made for her.
* ''VideoGame/{{Hiveswap}}'' has Diemen, a hot dog-obsessed alien kid.
* ''VideoGame/TheHouseOfTheDeadOverkill'': Papa Caesar and Chinese food, to the point that his in-game theme music is titled "Dim Sum For Papa".
-->'''Papa Caesar:''' As you well know, Isaac, [[LovesTheSoundOfScreaming I enjoy pain]]. It's like a good Chinese dinner, you know, with the sweet and the sour.
* ''VideoGame/{{Huniepop}}'': We have the following foods that match the listed girls' likes:
** Junk Food: Audrey, Kyu, Beli, Jessie
** Breakfast: Tiffany, Kyanna, Lola, Venus
** Fruit: Audrey, Aiko, Lola, Celeste
** Vegetables: Kyanna, Aiko, Beli, Momo
** Candy: Tiffany, Kyu, Nikki, Celeste
** Desserts: Jessie, Nikki, Momo, Venus
* ''VideoGame/IslandSaver'': Every bankimal has one that is needed to produce doubloons and get them back to health.
* ''VideoGame/IWasATeenageExocolonist'': Not only does Cal love cake, especially on his birthday, but he also shares a piece with you when you give it to him, reducing a little bit of stress and further boosting your friendship/relationship with him.
* ''VideoGame/KillerIsDead'': Mondo loves soft-boiled eggs. The main reason he keeps his assistant [[GenkiGirl Mika]] around is because she can prepare them exactly the way he likes them.
* Nugget from ''VideoGame/{{Kindergarten|2017}}'' is absolutely obsessed with chicken nuggets, to the point where it's even in his name. Just to name a few examples: to become his friend you have to find the five Nuggets of Friendship he's hidden around the school; he carries around [[{{Hammerspace}} more of them than a kindergartener should possibly be able to keep on their person]]; and in Felix's mission in ''VideoGame/Kindergarten2'', he bribes Nugget into [[TunnelKing digging a hole for him]] by offering to take him to his family's (non-existent) nugget factory.
* ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII'': Ansem the Wise's favorite food is sea-salt ice cream, to the point where it's the password that unlocks the alternate Twilight Town. Seasalt ice cream has shown up in many places throughout the series, and is stated to be liked by many, though Roxas is definitely the most notable example; it's apparently become something of a RunningGag. Sea-salt ice cream's presence in the series started as Nomura's own TrademarkFavoriteFood after he tried some at Tokyo Disneyland and loved it.
* ''VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters'': The profiles for every KOF character lists their favorite foods:
** Sie Kensou loves meat buns. He eats one in his taunt and used to eat them in his oder intros. There's even a variation in his usual intro (which appears if you use him as your first character) where he chokes on his meat bun, turns blue, and then finally gets it down: some of the games have it as a life-restoring move as well, but the choking variation can cause him to lose life instead. Also, at least two of his post-match victory portraits show him either eating or holding pork buns.
** Athena loves ''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichigo_daifuku ichigo daifuku]]'' (a Japanese cake made with ''mochi'' and strawberry).
** Kula Diamond loves [[SweetTooth lollipops and ice cream]]. In ''KOF XIII'', her love of ice cream is amped up and used as a RunningGag in her pre-fight talks, with Yuri Sakazaki openly wondering if she'll double-cross her partners just to get some of it. ''XV'' doubles down on it as she gladly helps out Krohnen and Ángel (the very same people who attempted to murder her ParentalSubstitute) all because [[FoodAsBribe they offered her ice cream]].
** Kyo Kusanagi loves grilled fish. He lampshades the trope in ''KOF XIII'' by telling K' (who likes eating [[RealMenEatMeat beef jerky]]) that he should switch to fish so he won't be [[PerpetualFrowner so gloomy]].
* ''VideoGame/KingsQuestVI'':
** The genie loves mints. Doubles as ICantBelieveItsNotHeroin, as eating a lot causes him to act drunk and giddy. ''Literature/TheKingsQuestCompanion'' explains the genie's addiction as saying that the creatures always have a weakness for ''something''. The one in the manual has cravings for mistletoe berries.
** The aforementioned manual also mentions that Graham's got a sweet tooth.
* ''VideoGame/{{Kirby}}'': Kirby loves tomatoes, especially Maxim Tomatoes (which [[HyperactiveMetabolism completely heal his HP]]) in the games. In [[Anime/KirbyRightBackAtYa the anime]] [[AlternateContinuity continuity]] he's obsessed with watermelons, to the point where it was his first word. If ''[[VideoGame/KirbySqueakSquad Squeak Squad]]'' is anything to go by, he also loves cake, and if you steal his cake, he will do [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge whatever it takes]] to get it back.
* ''VideoGame/LaMulana'': According to the [[AllThereInTheManual manual]], Lemeza claims curry as one of his favorite things in the world, period. The pause animation for the game has Lemeza's sprite gorge himself on curry, then take a nap. This is actually an in-joke/reference to the fact that when they needed a last name for the character, they settled on "Kosugi" when they saw a commercial for premixed curry where that is the name of the mascot. Scanning the wall of the hot springs on the Surface reveals that one of its side effects is "curry addiction".
* ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'':
** Probably the most famous is Gangplank's love for oranges, due to his W ability, ''Remove Scurvy'', in which he eats an orange to remove any form of crowd control and heal himself. His ''Captain Gangplank'' skin even shows him pausing to peel an orange before torturing some poor sap.
** Illaoi likes mangoes, although this is just flavor and she has no skills revolving around them.
** In the MagicalGirl Star Guardian line, each Guardian has a favorite food. Lux's is cake, Jinx's is curry, Lulu's is cupcakes, Poppy's is okonomiyaki (a type of Japanese pancake), Janna's is tea, Ezreal's is pizza, Ahri's is ice cream sundaes, Miss Fortune's is shrimp tempura, Soraka's is cinnamon rolls, and Syndra's is chocolate ganache cake.
** Kai'sa has a fondness for peaches, to the point where she [[AttentionDeficitOohShiny gets distracted]] from one of her monologues when she spots some.
** Jax's 2023 character update added a fondness of boiled eggs, adding that being the WorldsBestWarrior for thousands of years teaches you to appreciate the simple things.
* ''VideoGame/Left4Dead'': As the lead-up comics to ''The Sacrifice'' DLC point out, Zoey loves peanut butter. So cue squeeing when she finds out that the army base the group is being held in contains huge jars of the stuff.
* ''Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda'':
** In ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTheWindWaker'', Link absolutely loves his grandma's soup (which is by far ''the'' best healing item in the game, though [[NecessaryDrawback you can only keep one bottle of it at a time]]).
** ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'':
*** The Yiga love bananas so much that if they see any mysteriously appearing in their line of sight, [[TheGuardsMustBeCrazy they'll immediately run toward the bananas and ignore everything else until they've been grabbed]] -- convenient for Link, as they are otherwise the most competent guards in the franchise. When you get to their heavily-guarded storehouse, you'll see a treasure box on a pedestal. No, it's not the treasure you came for; it's a bunch of bananas.
*** For Zelda, one of the recipes you can find in the VeryDefiniteFinalDungeon details how to make her favorite fruitcake.
* ''VideoGame/LifeIsStrange'': Frank the itinerant drug dealer really likes beans. Max will find him at the Two Whales Diner eating a plate of beans. If she messes with his food, he'll angrily stand up and attack her, shouting, "I was eating those beans!" In the prequel, ''VideoGame/LifeIsStrangeBeforeTheStorm'', Chloe can find that his entire cupboard is filled with cans of beans. This is in spite of the fact that he's bought a fridge full of steaks [[PetTheDog for his dog]].
* ''VideoGame/LogicalJourneyOfTheZoombinis'' has the Pizza Trolls, who, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin you guessed it]], love pizza (and sundaes, in the later difficulty settings). Thing is, they are ''very'' picky about what they like, which makes pleasing them so that you can pass quite challenging.
* ''VideoGame/LollipopChainsaw'': Juliet Starling has strawberry lollipops listed as her favorite food, though her introductory cutscene has her carrying a variety of lollipop flavors.
* ''VideoGame/LonelyWolfTreat'':
** Treat's favorite food is meat, and she gets stars in her eyes when Mochi offers to buy some for her.
** Mochi's favorite food is carrots, as you'd expect from a rabbit.
** The fox Moxie initially claims to enjoy rabbit meat, but eventually admits that she has never tried it because she can't bring herself to actually kill a rabbit. When Mochi shares a blueberry tart with her, she discovers that she really likes blueberries.
** Trick is said to enjoy eating trailmix in the games, but [[https://another-piece-of-candy.thecomicseries.com/comics/104/ according to the webcomic]], their favorite food is actually mushrooms.
* ''VideoGame/LuminousArc2'': Pop and her crabs and anything made with crabs. Yes, even crab gelato.
* ''VideoGame/MadWorld'': Jack is often soon chowing down on onions. They even restore him to full health in-game.
* ''VideoGame/{{Magicka}}'': The entire world seems to run on sausage and cheese, if the concept art and a good bit of the NPC dialogue are anything to go by.
* ''VideoGame/MagiNation'': Evu, Elder of Naroom, loves jellybeans. [[AnachronismStew Yes, in a fantasy world with more-or-less]] MedievalStasis.
* ''VideoGame/ManiacMansion'': Green Tentacle will consume [[BigEater virtually anything edible you feed him]], but his favourite food is, oddly enough, wax fruit.
* ''VideoGame/MegaManBattleNetwork'': In the Japanese version of ''Rockman.EXE'', Netto is a BigEater, and his favorite food is mentioned to be curry, specifically tonkatsu curry rice. [[Anime/MegaManNTWarrior The anime]] in particular shows him eating curry very often, and he completely pigs out on it in one episode, going as far as curry-flavored ice cream. Fanworks tend to take his love of curry and crank it up to eleven.
* ''VideoGame/MetalGear'':
** ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid3SnakeEater'' seems to declare that Naked Snake's trademark food is snakes and frogs (the former allowing for his MissionControl to call him a cannibal) -- to the point where the latter is referenced in ''the theme tune''.
** Sunny is into fried eggs, but that may be because [[OneNoteCook that's the only thing she knows how to cook]].
** In ''Snake Eater'', EVA is very fond of instant noodles. She even moans about wanting some in her sleep.
** Solid Snake is a fan of blueberries.
* ''VideoGame/{{Miitopia}}'': Similar to ''Tomodachi Life'', every character has particular fondness for certain foods, which grant bonuses to their stats when eaten. Also like ''Tomodachi Life'', it is not known what food each party member will like until they have tried it, and when the food is highlighted again, they can be seen excitedly hopping in their seat.
* ''VideoGame/TheMisadventuresOfPBWinterbottom'': P.B. really likes pie. He broke time and space to get pie. He created clones to get pie. He destroyed buildings. He eats nothing but pies.
* ''Franchise/MortalKombat'' fighter Kano's favorite food is White Castle hamburgers, according to Richard Divizio ([[InkSuitActor the actor who portrayed Kano in all of the titles using digitized actors]]). It's probable that Divizio likes them too.
* ''VideoGame/MortalMeal'': This trope is enforced. The ghost remembers that it is seolleongton, which he used to love making [[spoiler:with his late lover Sang-jun. He then realizes that his UnfinishedBusiness is leaving a dish at Sang-jun's grave as an offering.]]
* ''VideoGame/{{Mother}}'': All three games ask for your favorite food at the game's start. You could either use your own or canon favorites of the characters:
** ''VideoGame/EarthBoundBeginnings'': Ninten loves prime ribs. (Steak is often used, but ribs is confirmed in the ''MOTHER'' encyclopedia.)
** ''VideoGame/EarthBound1994'':
*** Ness loves Salisbury steak.
*** Dr. Andonuts has, well, donuts.
** ''VideoGame/Mother3'':
*** Lucas and his whole family love omelets.
*** Fassad loves bananas. He often [[KickTheDog torments Salsa the monkey]] by eating bananas in front of him while denying him food, and he recovers health in battle by eating bananas. This factors into TheReveal about his true identity: [[spoiler:Locria the Magypsy's house is filled with bananas]].
*** Ionia, one of the Magypsies, likes sour food. Her favourites are pickles.
*** Flint, Duster, and Lucas (if what you named him has an odd number of letters, that is) love cheese. Kumatora, Boney and Salsa... not so much.
* ''VideoGame/TheMysteryOfTheDruids'': Halligan seems to live on nothing but pizza from Al's Pizza Place. Checking his answering machine reveals that he's racked up a tab of ''275 pounds''.
* ''VideoGame/{{Neptunia}}'':
** Neptune's favorite food is pudding. In Victory, episode 7 of the anime and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, it’s specified to be custard pudding. Compa gives a recipe at one point. Pea seems to like it too, as evidenced by the scene where she and Neptune fight over a cup of pudding (it has Neptune’s name labeled on it but Pea saw it first!)
** Vert is a connoisseur of tea, fitting her fancy and somewhat hedonistic tastes.
** Arfoire really likes eggplants. She knows a number of dishes for them and in times where she heeds the CallToAgriculture, she's seen growing them. This serves to put her further at odds with Neptune, as the latter loathes eggplants.
** Blanc loves tangerines. In the first game she even says they kick ass.
* ''VideoGame/NewDynamicEnglish'' has Max Wilson, who seems to talk about steak as his favorite food so much that he's given the nickname "Mr. Steak" by Elizabeth.
* ''VideoGame/NiNoKuni'': Oliver loves burgers, and they're some of the best single-healing items in both games. Amusingly, Horace the FriendlyGhost loves them too.
* Several characters from ''VideoGame/OctopathTravelerII'' have favorite foods they mention often.
** Ochette ''loves'' meat and jerky, to the point that Castti scolds her about eating a more balanced diet.
** Throné likes raspberries enough that Agnea invites her to try out her hometown's raspberry festival.
** Osvald enjoys goulash, partly because his wife used to make it for him. One tavern banter even has him getting unusually sulky because he found out the tavern was serving goulash, but they ran out just as he went up to get some.
* In the ''Oden Cart'' games, all of your possible kinds of customers need you to have certain oden ingredients in your inventory in order for them to show up to your cart:
** ''Oden Cart: A Heartwarming Tale'':
*** Grumpy Man: Daikon and Chikuwa.
*** Publisher: Konyaku and Boiled Egg.
*** New Guy: Chikuwa and Daikon.
*** Nice Girl: Boiled Egg and Hanpen. In fact, she just loves oden as much as the cart owner does, in general. [[spoiler:That's another hint that she's his long-lost daughter.]]
*** Young Man: Konyaku and Ganmodoki.
*** Career Woman: Ganmodoki and Hanpen.
*** Old Lady: Kinchaku and Atsuage.
*** Glamor Girl: Shirataki and Hot Dog Wrap. [[spoiler:She's a [[CountryMouse country bumpkin, and city life isn't working out well for her]].]]
*** Hotshot: Beef Tendon and Satsuma Age.
*** Mysterious Man: Rishiri Kobumaki and Matsusaka Beef. [[spoiler:[[ObviouslyEvil As it turns out]], he's the much-discussed murderer of this game.]]
*** Housewife: Octopus and Chicken Meatballs.
*** Ghostly Girl: Tamba Matsutake and Ise Shrimp. [[spoiler:In fact, she ''only'' shows up -- [[FinalBoss alone]] -- if 50% or more of your inventory consists of those two ingredients.]]
** ''Oden Cart 2: A Taste Of Time'':
*** The Breadwinner: Daikon and Konyaku.
*** Fireworks Master: Daikon and Chikuwa.
*** Apprentice: Daikon and Chikuwa.
*** The Scribe: Konyaku and Chikuwa.
*** Dumpling Girl: Hanpen and Ganmodoki.
*** The Matriarch: Hanpen and Atsuage.
*** Samurai in White: Kinchaku and Chikuwabu.
*** Courtesan: Atsuage and Ganmodoki.
*** Hatsusan: Kinchaku and Shirataki.
*** Bearded Doctor: Fish Bals and Ezo Scallops.
*** One-Eyed Man: Shirataki and Chikuwabu.
*** Reluctant Ronin: Boiled Egg and Satsuma Age.
*** The Pale Lady: Aki Oysters and Echizen Crab.
*** Old Raconteur: Konbumaki and Ise Rock Lobster. [[spoiler:He's the now-aged Momotaro, chasing down the one demon that escaped, and eventually finishes the job in his ending.]]
*** Sweet Old Man: Fish Balls and Hida Beef. [[spoiler:He's actually [[EvilAllAlong a demon]].]]
* ''VideoGame/{{Opoona}}'': Rice with grilled eel is Copoona's favorite food. Especially because it makes him feel grown-up when he eats in.
* ''VideoGame/{{Overwatch}}'':
** Winston is [[UpliftedAnimal a super-intelligent gorilla]] who is quite fond of peanut butter -- or, as he puts it, has a crippling addiction to the stuff. He also seems to be [[NeverHeardThatOneBefore tired of jokes about wanting bananas]].
** [[{{Miko}} Kiriko]]'s favourite food is donuts. Her introduction cinematic has her being chewed out by her OverprotectiveMom for eating nothing but them for dinner.
* ''VideoGame/PajamaSam'': In the second game we learn that Sam loves Cheese Giblets, a brand of cheese puffs. They are used in a particular puzzle to get a living rock off some papers, because apparently pet rocks love cheese as well.
* ''VideoGame/{{Pangya}}'': In the PSP version, Uncle Bob that says he eats [[BigEater at least three meals of fried chicken]] per day, because that's where he gets his strength.
* ''Franchise/{{Persona}}'':
** In ''VideoGame/Persona2'':
*** Maya Amano loves canned crab, to the point where it's the only thing in her fridge.
*** Katsuya Suo enjoys sweets, as he originally wanted to be a [[InsistentTerminology patisserie]].
** ''VideoGame/Persona3'':
*** For Akihiko Sanada, it's beef bowl. This is used to obliquely announce his official arrival on the scene late in (the now non-canon) ''Anime/PersonaTrinitySoul'' when Shin, delivering take-out to the police station, wonders who the beef bowl ramen is for and a couple of women [[ChickMagnet instantly volunteer to deliver it for him]]. Additionally, Shinjiro claims that Akihiko only eats "That protein shit", supplemented with ramen. This is supported by a series of fetch quests that require the Main Character to talk to each of their party members; they must get protein powder from Akihiko, who goes into great detail about it. He also ordered a food with protein powder while overseas in ''VideoGame/Persona4Arena'' and was disappointed that protein powder wasn't in the menu.
*** Ken Amada likes omelettes, usually supplemented with fried rice, to the point when tasked to write about something he loves in school, he wrote about them.
** ''VideoGame/Persona4'':
*** There's Chie's immense love for meat, particularly steaks, which becomes a running gag in various spin-offs.
*** Don't get between Kanji Tatsumi and his animal crackers. ''[[RunningGag Especially]]'' the penguin ones.
*** Bumbling detective Adachi is often seen at the local department store buying cabbages. Subverted in that he actually doesn't like them ''that'' much, but he's on a budget and they don't require any cooking.
*** The booklet that comes with the second official Drama CD actually reveals the official TrademarkFavoriteFood of 6 of the 8 party members: Yosuke loves fried ginger-pork and meat-potato stew, Chie (as mentioned) loves meat in general, Yukiko's favorite is potato salad with a dessert of candied sweet-potato, Kanji likes pork stew and pudding, Rise's favorite is vichyssoise, and Naoto loves California rolls. All these picks are based on actual food-items you can give to them in-game, to improve their relationship with them. The booklet also points out that Teddie is incredibly blunt when it comes to food, as demonstrated during the cook-off halfway through the game.
*** Teddy's Topsicles. He ate ''seven'' of them in one sitting.
*** Nanako likes meals made from eggs, omelettes in particular. She even chose to judge the omelette cook-off and managed to find something good about all the omelettes she judged… Even though they were made by [[LethalChef Chie, Yukiko and Rise]] (though she did have a hard time swallowing down Rise’s super-spicy-to-the-point-of-knocking-Yukiko-out omelette).
** In ''VideoGame/PersonaQShadowOfTheLabyrinth'', [[TheCutie Rei]] borders on being an ExtremeOmnivore, but her top two food picks appear to be takoyaki and corndogs.
** ''VideoGame/Persona5'': Most of the main cast have foods that they seem to obsess over:
*** Ann loves sweets, but seems particularly fond of crepes.
*** Ryuji loves ramen and has a local hole-in-the-wall ramen joint that he drags the Protagonist to. He also seems to be fond of meat.
*** Any time sushi is mentioned, Morgana begins to pine for fatty tuna, which is almost always denied to him.
*** Yusuke is constantly eating Jagariko during the Phantom Thieves meetings. The [[VideoGame/Persona5Strikers sequel]] also shows him wanting to try every town's style of hot pot, which Ryuji lampshades.
*** Futaba apparently used to eat nothing but Sojiro's curry. [[spoiler:It turns out that it's because it was a recipe that her mother created to compliment Sojiro's coffee.]]
*** The Protagonist himself can prove himself to be a fan of the local fast food joint, Big Bang Burger, by eating a series of increasingly huge burgers. The last one is literally bigger than his own head, and with the right stats '''you can finish it off without any repercussions'''.
*** Goro Akechi is never going to live down his love of pancakes, as him mentioning "delicious pancakes" is actually a plot point.[[spoiler: It's not the pancakes themselves in this case, but the fact that he said he'd heard ''someone else'' mention them. Someone did, but that someone was Morgana (he compared a building to a pancake) and unless you've been to the Metaverse, you can't hear Morgana's speech as anything but cat noises. Goro says this line in June, but later claims he first went to the Metaverse in October. Joker remembers the pancakes comment and realizes that Akechi was lying and was the 'Black Mask' Persona user behind the mental shutdowns. This allowed the Thieves to prepare a plan to fool Akechi and fake Joker's death. All of Akechi's deception went down the drain because he talked about pancakes at the wrong time. Hilariously enough, a conversation in ''Royal'' shows that Akechi doesn't want to hear about pancakes for a ''long'' time after they caused his downfall.]]
* ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'':
** ''VideoGame/PokemonSunAndMoon'': Hau loves malasadas, and his first priority upon arriving to a new island is often to look for the nearest malasada shop. Similarly, Wicke is fond of Big Malasadas, but she keeps a stock with her at all times and will give you one each time you finish a conversation with her, [[MoodWhiplash regardless of how serious the subject matter was]].
** In ''VideoGame/PokemonMysteryDungeonExplorers'', Guildmaster Wigglytuff is absolutely crazy for Perfect Apples. If he doesn't get one every day, he'll cry to the point of almost causing earthquakes, and he places one as a "treasure" for the player's graduation exam.
** In ''VideoGame/PokemonScarletAndViolet'', cover legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon ''adore'' sandwiches, and will eat yours any chance they get, even after your friend starts making them their own. The ''mere mention'' of them will cause it to pop out of its Poke Ball.
* ''VideoGame/{{Portal}}'': [=GlaDOS=] likes [[MemeticMutation cake]], to the point where she thinks of it as a good incentive to get Chell to complete the tests.
* In ''VideoGame/PotionPermit'', Ottmar is obsessed with corn to the point he's always seen grilling it at his café. Collin even calls him "Corn Boy".
* ''VideoGame/{{Psychonauts}}'':
** Ford Cruller's favorite food is bacon. He loves it so much that just waving a piece of bacon around is enough to [[ExpositionFairy mentally summon him for advice]].
** In ''VideoGame/Psychonauts2'', the BigBad's favorite food is [[spoiler:caviar. Gristol Malik loved expensive caviar, and ate tons of it every day, representing [[SnootyHauteCuisine his obsession with lavish decadence]]. When the Grulovian royal family was exiled, they moved into a luxurious hotel--but because they couldn't afford to eat caviar daily anymore, Malik's SelfServingMemory interpreted this as if they'd fallen into squalor. Opened cans of caviar can be found in Nick Johnsmith (Gristol Malik's pseudonym as TheMole in the Psychonauts)'s hotel room]].
* ''VideoGame/PunchOut'':
** In the Wii version, Doc Louis loves eating chocolate bars, and apparently has tickets to a chocolate bar convention. He also gives strange sayings and metaphors about chocolate. Probably explains why he seems to have gained weight. In ''Doc Louis's Punch-Out!!'', he will sometimes take out a chocolate bar and eat it to recover stamina, and punching it out of his hand causes him to tear off his jacket, revealing a leopard-print shirt underneath and making him [[LetsGetDangerous a lot harder to beat]].
** If his movie intro and his between-round animations are anything to go by, Bear Hugger loves drinking jugs of ''maple syrup''.
** Similarly, [[CheeseEatingSurrenderMonkeys Glass Joe]] is shown to be fond of bread (typically either baguettes or croissants) and coffee, all popular French delicacies. [[https://punchout.fandom.com/wiki/File:Glass_Joe_comic.jpeg This promotional comic strip]] mentions he'd be happy to live off them.
** Soda Popinski and soda, natch. A single drop of the stuff is enough to make him stand back up in the Wii game. Of course, in the original arcade game he was known as VodkaDrunkenski... you can gues what his favorite was back then.
* ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'' has Arle and Carbuncle's favorite food being curry. In fact, in the earlier games, curry is constantly referenced, from the handicap difficulty being represented by the "spiciness" of the curry, to several of the ''Nazo Puyo'' titles having an ExcusePlot involving the player gathering ingredients to make great curry. Its ancestor series ''VideoGame/MadouMonogatari'' treats Curry as a high-tier healing item that restores a lot of HP.
* ''VideoGame/RandalsMonday'': Hotdogs for Murray. You need to get him one to get inside Matt’s apartment on the first day.
* ''Videogame/SaintsRow'': The Saints, especially The Boss, Johnny Gat, and Pierce Washington, love Freckle Bitch's Hamburgers. Johnny even considers it “fine dining” and apparently daydreams of killing people there.
* ''VideoGame/SakuraWars'': Erica Fontaine is [[SweetTooth quite fond]] of pudding, to the point she’s shown eating some while Lobelia and Glycine are arguing over who should be the captain of the Paris Squad.
* ''VideoGame/SamuraiShodown'': Galford D. Weiler loves apple pie, especially if it's the one made by his mother.
* ''VideoGame/SenranKagura'': Each character has a favourite food, or at least those who have full profile. However, Yomi's liking for beansprouts is something you ''definitely'' notice: Almost everything she cooks has beansprouts on it, she cannot stop talking about them, and she is ready to ''kill'' someone for not liking beansprouts (or become friends with those who like them).
* ''VideoGame/TheSims'':
** ''VideoGame/TheSims2'': Sims who botch using the [=ReNuYu=] Aspiration Changer end up with the "Grilled Cheese" aspiration. All their wants, fears, and dreams revolve around cooking, eating, and serving grilled cheese sandwiches.
** In ''VideoGame/TheSims3'' every Sim has a Favorite Food; they get a positive moodlet when they eat it, and sometimes get a Wish to eat it, or to learn how to cook it if they don't already.
* ''VideoGame/SlimeRancher'' uses this as a game mechanic. Every corrallable slime -- barring Pink Slimes (which can [[ExtremeOmnivore eat every kind of food]] but have no favorite), Puddle Slimes (which can only eat water), Fire Slimes (ditto with ash), and Saber Slimes (which have their favorite food listed as "unknown") -- has a favorite food, and being fed that food will cause it to produce double plorts. Largo Slimes can have two favorites, matching their base slimes, and feeding Gordo Slimes their favorite food will make them pop faster.
** Rock Slimes: Heart Beets
** Tabby Slimes: Stony Hens
** Phosphor Slimes: Cuberries
** Boom Slimes: Briar Hens
** Rad Slimes: Oca Oca
** Crystal Slimes: Odd Onions
** Honey Slimes: Mint Mangoes
** Hunter Slimes: Roostros
** Quantum Slimes: Phase Lemons
** Tangle Slimes: Painted Hens
** Dervish Slimes: Prickle Pears
** Mosaic Slimes: Silver Parsnip
** Gold Slimes: Gilded Ginger[[note]]While Gold Slimes can't be corralled, and won't eat anything else, feeding one a Gilded Ginger will cause it to drop ''five'' Gold Plorts, vs one when struck with anything else or three when struck with anything while the player has Golden Sureshot.[[/note]]
** [[TheDreaded The Tarr]]: [[OhCrap Ranchers]]
* Quite a few ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' characters have a favorite food:
** In ''VideoGame/SonicUnleashed'', chili dogs were {{retcanon}}ed as Sonic's favorite food, as they were in [[WesternAnimation/AdventuresOfSonicTheHedgehog the previous]] [[WesternAnimation/SonicTheHedgehogSatAM American]] [[WesternAnimation/SonicUnderground cartoons]] [[ComicBook/SonicTheHedgehogArchieComics and comics]]. From ''VideoGame/SonicAndTheBlackKnight'' onwards, chili dogs have reached full CanonImmigrant status, with Sonic's love of them being a defining character trait no matter what media he's in.
** Supplementary material dating all the way back to the 90's notes that [[GeniusSweetTooth Tails]] likes mint candy. More obvious in one of his [[ADayInTheLimelight limelight games]], ''VideoGame/TailsSkyPatrol'', where mint candies serve as [[HyperactiveMetabolism health power ups]].
** The ''[[VideoGame/Sonic3AndKnuckles Sonic 3]]'' manual and other material mention Knuckles being partial to fruit, with grapes being his favorite.
** According to Sonic Channel and some other material, Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit like ice cream, with Amy liking soft-serve in particular. Cream also likes baking cakes, and her Chao friend Cheese likes coconuts.
** Resident archnemesis Dr. Eggman is quite fond of eggs - a supplemental manga for the first ''Sonic'' game shows that his ultimate goal is to take over the world so he can have all the eggs he wants, and he also wants to use the energy of the Chaos Emeralds to boil the world's largest egg. His ''WesternAnimation/AdventuresOfSonicTheHedgehog'' incarnation takes it even further, at one point brutalizing his [[BumblingHenchmanDuo bumbling henchbot duo]] for serving him hotcakes instead of eggs for breakfast.
** Resident laid-back fisherman Big the Cat, unsurprisingly, likes fish.
** Within the Chaotix: Charmy, being a bee, seems to like honey and nectar. The 2016 ''[[VideoGame/MarioAndSonicAtTheOlympicGames Mario & Sonic]]'' game states that Espio is most partial to ''dango'' (Japanese sweet dumplings), and ''Anime/SonicX'' portrays him as liking apples. Vector's a little harder to pinpoint, but it's implied that he has a sweet tooth in particular, as he's shown chewing bubblegum from time to time, and one page from ''Webcomic/SonicComic'' shows him buying pudding.
** In ''VideoGame/SonicUnleashed'' (a globe-trotting game already notable for its [[FoodPorn particularly detailed food art]]), FairyCompanion Chip has a thing for chocolate. It's even how Sonic comes up with his nickname. Professor Pickle from the same game also has a thing for cucumber sandwiches. Or to be more specific:
--->'''Professor Pickle:''' The bread should be no less than three-quarters of an inch thick. Upon it, one tablespoon of mayonnaise, and a ''pinch'' of black pepper. The contents: ''fresh'' cucumber, sliced ''thinly'', if you please!
* ''VideoGame/SoulCalibur'':
** Yunsung gets distracted from [[ArtifactOfDoom Soul Edge]] by meat buns in the Good Ending of ''Soul Calibur 3''.
** Xiba loves steam buns. Many of his lines nod to this, such as "Now bring me some steam buns. Lots of them!"
* ''VideoGame/SoulNomadAndTheWorldEaters'': Gig has hotpods. In one memorable cutscene, he even says that when he [[OmnicidalManiac destroys the world]], hotpods are the only thing he'll spare.
* ''Franchise/{{Splatoon}}'':
** Cap'n Cuttlefish likes crab cakes so much that he gets kidnapped in [[VideoGame/Splatoon1 the first game]] due to being distracted by them.
** In the North American localization at least, Marie really likes hot dogs, identifying them as "the perfect food" in the "Marshmallow vs. Hot Dog" splatfest. Her taste for them is also repeatedly referenced in the stage intros.
** Both the Japanese and European versions have Callie and Marie mentioning fries/chips multiple times. They do seem to mainly [[SweetTooth like sweets]] though.
* ''VideoGame/StardewValley'': The townsfolk each have at least two foods they love that will earn the maximum boost to relationship points if you give them some.
* ''VideoGame/StarOcean'': Every character has a favorite food which you can cook, which restores all of their HP and MP. They generally make sense and/or poke fun at the character. Brooding Joshua likes the high-class escargot, perky Millie and Precis are partial to sugar-filled fruit parfait and chocolate crepes, and cat-people Perisie and Noel like tuna. Main character Claude likes good old steak.
* ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'':
** Mushrooms and pasta for the titular brothers (except in ''WesternAnimation/TheSuperMarioBrosMovie'', where Mario initially hates mushrooms and has to be force-fed his first power-up), Mario's favorite being [[BigEater Spaghetti Bolognese with alfredo sauce and meatballs]]. This is especially true in the cartoons, where each episode has Mario mentioning pasta at least once, while pizza is the only thing the live-action segments ever show Mario and Luigi eating. [[YouTubePoop Lotsa spaghetti!]] In ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiPartnersInTime'', Mario's soul assessment by the Star Gate reveals that Mario's diet is filled with much alfredo sauce, and that he needs to cut down on carbonara. However, it also recommends puttanesca, for that stuff is great. In ''VideoGame/SuperMario64'', if you [[IdleAnimation don't move Mario for five minutes or so]], he will sleep on the floor and dream of spaghetti and ravioli. ''VideoGame/SuperMarioOdyssey'' has this animation return, but kicks it up a notch, with Mario dreaming of many, ''many'' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V18Kq7IZmY kinds of pasta]], including [[ShownTheirWork some rather obscure ones]]. As for mushrooms, they're often used as things such as power-ups or healing items in the games.
** ''VideoGame/PaperMario64'': Anti-Guy just ''loves'' lemon candy. A piece of lemon candy is enough to bribe him to give you his treasure chest. What happens if you ''don't'' have any lemon candy on hand? A very, very difficult BossBattle will ensue. This doesn't work on the later Anti-Guys, though.
** ''VideoGame/YoshisStory'': Yoshis like [[ExtremeOmnivore all sorts of food]], but melons (which are depicted to look like Japanese muskmelons) are their absolute favorite. For the best score, you have to find 30 of them in every level. Each color of Yoshi also has a particular favorite among the regular fruits[[note]]Green likes watermelons, Red and Pink like Apples, Blue and Light Blue like Grapes, and Yellow likes Bananas.[[/note]] which restore three times as much health and add twice as many points as anything else. There's also a "Lucky Fruit" which gets decided randomly every time you turn on the console, which fully restores health (8 points) for any Yoshi and is what most enemies get turned into when you GroundPound under the effects of a [[InvincibilityPowerUp Heart Fruit]], making it possible (though difficult) to [[SelfImposedChallenge get 30 of those in a run, as well]].
** ''VideoGame/{{Wario}}'' series: Wario loves eating garlic cloves - apparently the EvilCounterpart to mushrooms, considering [[GeniusBonus garlic has antifungal properties]]. To go with his purple theme, Waluigi has eggplant instead of garlic.
** Peach often rewards Mario with cake for rescuing her.
** ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy'': Rosalina and the Lumas love Star Bits, which are said to taste like honey (and are modeled after the Konpeito candy from Japan).
** Bowser really seems to love cake. Hell, in some games it comes across like the ''only'' reason he kidnaps Peach over and over again is so he can eventually force her to bake cakes for him. In ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiBowsersInsideStory'', he vocally enjoys anything fattening and unhealthy, but especially spicy drumsticks, which serve as his equivalent to mushrooms.
** Professor E. Gadd seems especially fond of coffee. He runs a coffee shop in ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiSuperstarSaga'', and his Research Journal concerning the creation of [[VideoGame/LuigisMansion Gooigi]] makes constant references to the Lunoman Greenie coffee blend.
** The Mini-Mario toys in the ''VideoGame/MarioVsDonkeyKong'' series apparently have a fascination with chocolate, based on the ramblings of a sleeping Mini-Mario in the second game's game over sequence.
* ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsNEO'': Sharlie Lunoille loves donuts so much that she's called Donut Girl.
* ''VideoGame/TalesSeries'':
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia'': Every playable character has an ingredient that s/he likes, and an ingredient that s/he dislikes (e.g., Colette likes all fruits, but dislikes bell peppers, and Raine likes lemons but hates mushrooms). Every time Lloyd cooks with one of those ingredients while that character is in the party, his/her [[RelationshipValues affection]] increases or decreases respectively by one point. Having a character cook something using an ingredient that they like will also increase that character's overlimit gauge by ten percent (five percent if someone else cooks using the favored ingredient).
** ''Videogame/TalesOfGraces'': Everybody gets one: Asbel likes curry, Hubert likes rice omelettes, Sophie likes crab omelettes ([[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments mmm... Royal Crablettes...]]), Pascal likes bananas, Cheria likes grilled chicken, Malik likes sea bream porridge... and Richard, to the horror of everyone else, likes natto (fermented soy beans) on toast. [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments Pascal suggests that he force his subjects to eat it for breakfast every day by royal decree.]]
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfDestiny'': Leon Magnus ''loves'' strawberry flans, and this is used a lot for comedic results, as he believes RealMenHateSugar and thus tries to hide his love of them… badly.
* ''VideoGame/{{Tangledeep}}'': Mirai is all but obsessed with cheese.
---> '''Mirai''': (about a cheese wheel) "This is an irresponsible amount of cheese. I'm out of control."
* ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'':
** The Heavy sure loves his sandwiches.
--->'''Heavy:''' [[LostFoodGrievance YOU NOT TOUCH SANDVICH!]]
** The BLU Soldier's apartment is littered with empty tomato soup cans and boxes of ribs.
* ''VideoGame/TombRaider2013'': A DeletedScene would have revealed that what Lara misses from home is Jaffa cakes. [[ComicBook/TombRaider The spin-off comics]] then started including Jaffa cakes as a DevelopmentGag, so it's now canon that Lara really likes Jaffa cakes.
* ''VideoGame/TomodachiLife'': Every single Mii you add in the game will have an All-Time Favorite Food (which causes them to breakdance) and a Super All-Time Favorite Food (which causes them to turn into a rocket and shoot into space in bliss) that, when eaten, will give them a huge happiness boost. The twist is that you don't know which foods each Mii likes until they try them, so they can go crazy for stuff like apple pie or roast chicken as well as for white bread, chewing gum, or ''tap water''. They can even have their favorite foods be ''spoiled milk'' or ''moldy bread'', if the RNG feels like having a laugh.
* ''VideoGame/TouchDetective'': Every character has a trademark favorite food, [[AllThereInTheManual though most of them are only listed on the website]]. Penelope's love for bananas on the other hand is made very apparent. She loves bananas so much that ''she hangs a stuffed pair of them from the ceiling of her room'' and also owns a banana stand for keeping them fresh.
* ''VideoGame/{{Transistor}}'': The source of the Breach() Function loves Junction Jan's Sea Monster flatbread, saying that its the only choice when presented with three other options as well, but will lament the loss of the whole establishment.
* ''VideoGame/TwistedWonderland'': Jade is positively obsessed with mushrooms due to his love for mountain hiking, and is known to harvest so many mushrooms that his close ones are sick of eating and cooking them. His official profile however states that his favorite is octopus carpaccio.
* ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'':
** Papyrus makes a lot of fuss about his spaghetti, leading many to assume that it was his favorite. This was ultimately subverted in a one year anniversary Q&A special where it was revealed that his favorite food is actually the oatmeal with the candy dinosaur eggs in it. Apparently, he's never even ''tried'' spaghetti -- he just makes it because everyone else likes it.
** Temmies like, appropriately, Temmie Flakes. Giving them some in battle is one way to spare them. Bizarrely, Temmie Flakes are nothing but shredded color construction paper.
** Sans is thought to be fond of ketchup, due to downing an entire bottle of it like a drink if you turn down his offer of putting some on your food at Grillby's. He could have a thing for hot dog condiments in general, considering you find bottles of mustard and relish as well as ketchup in his first sentry station.
** Despite the only real evidence being that you can swipe some from her fridge, Alphys is often associated with Instant Noodles.
** [[spoiler:Due to the fallen child saying "No Chocolate" when you examine the fridge in New Home in a Genocide Run, [[MoodWhiplash with most of their other lines being appropriately dark]], chocolate is assumed to be their favorite.]]
** It's suggested that Asgore's favorite is Toriel's Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie, due to you finding several discarded recipes for it in the trash in the kitchen at New Home, implying that he tried and failed several times to recreate it. Unlike the others, this one actually has a gameplay implication: [[spoiler:If you eat the pie that Toriel gave you when you're fighting Asgore at the end of a Neutral Run, [[HeroicBSOD it'll remind him of her and he'll take hits to his attack and defense]]. Similarly, if you eat it when you're trying to SAVE him and Toriel at the end of a True Pacifist Run, they'll both be brought within one ACT of being [=SAVEd=]. Because of the implication there that Toriel is also fond of it, some believe that this also extends to their late son, Asriel, though there isn't any evidence for or against this.]]
** Mew Mew's fondness for snail ice cream is allegedly a plot point in ''[[ShowWithinAShow Mew Mew Kissy Cutie]]''. Only Alphys actually watches that show, though.
** In the same Q&A that Jossed the idea of Papyrus's favorite food being spaghetti, we learn that Bratty and Catty's favorite food is Glamburgers, which is hinted at, but not confirmed, in the game proper by Burgerpants, who recounts how they asked him to smuggle them several Glamburgers.
** Toriel seems to prefer a snail-based diet, to the point where in Hard Mode, on account of not buying any groceries beforehand, she makes you a snail pie instead of the usual butterscotch-cinnamon one.
* ''VideoGame/WildArms'': Cecilia can [[BigEater polish off many servings of]] [[CulturalTranslation burgers]]/curry in one sitting.
** Lilka of ''VideoGame/WildArms2'' instead gets jelly rolls, or Yakisoba bread in the original version.
* ''VideoGame/TheWorldEndsWithYou'' uses this as a gameplay mechanic: how much a character likes a certain meal affects the Sync Boosts you get. Of the four beginning ramen types, Neku likes Shoyu Ramen, Shiki likes Miso Ramen, Beat likes Tonkotsu Ramen, and Joshua prefers Shio Ramen. Shiki has a fondness for sweets. Meanwhile, Beat likes fast food while Joshua is disgusted by it. Neku likes ramen and Mexican food.
** It is also used in the sequel ''VideoGame/NeoTheWorldEndsWithYou'' where Rindo likes prefers lightly seasoned food. Fret prefers his food to be a little out of the ordinary. Nagi is intended to be a BigEater. Minamimoto is an intellectual with a penchant for science and mathematics, he likes sweet things to keep his brain active. Also, he seems to love the taste of fruit, cream, and berries. And [[spoiler:Shoka prefers spicy food.]]
* ''VideoGame/XCOM2'' has Dr. Richard Tygan, whose fondness for ADVENT Burgers has inflated to memetic proportions as expansions were released.
-->'''Central:''' I think just about everyone on the squad had a theory as to what it was we would find in [alien base pointed by Tygan]. If I had known Tygan then as well as I do now, I would have put my money on it being the recipe for ADVENT burgers' secret sauce.
* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChroniclesX'': The alien Ma-non race have a strong liking for pizza. Some missions in the game have the Ma-non help you out simply in return for some pizza, hot or frozen. The Ma-non can always be seen hanging around NLA's pizzeria, whose beleaguered proprietors have to work extra hard around the clock to keep up with the constant orders.
* ''VideoGame/YakuzaLikeADragon'': Ichiban is a big fan of bread. The bread rolls they served in prison were the one thing he got to eat that actually tasted like real world food. He's also a big fan of beef bowls. The last thing he does before going to prison and the first thing he does after getting out is gorge on beef bowl.
** Joon-Gi Han is also fan of bread, which leads Ichiban to jokingly call him "Joon-Gi Bun". Joon-Gi counters by referring to Ichiban as "Ichi-Bun".
* ''VideoGame/YeahJamFury'' is all about the titular characters' quest to get mangoes.
* ''VideoGame/YokaiWatch'': All of the Yokai have at least one. Their preferences can be, for each one, Rice Balls, Chocolate Bars, Fish and/or Sushi, Ramen, Chinese Food, Milk, Juice, Meat, Vegetables, Candy, Sweet Things, Hamburgers, Bread, Oden Stew, Soba Noodles, Snacks, Ice Cream, Pasta, Pizza, Donuts, Hot Dogs, Tempura, Sukiyaki, Delish-sticks, or Curry.
* ''VideoGame/YouDontKnowJack'': Cookie Masterson seems to '''really''' like fortune cookies, so much so that in the 2011 version, they made a special kind of question based on cliché cookie fortunes, which always begin with Cookie eating said cookie first.
* ''VideoGame/ZombiesRun'' has the radio operator Sam Yao obsessed with Curly Wurlys (a type of chocolate bar) and Marmite (a savoury food spread).
