----
* ''Series/AllInTheFamily'': Archie always directed Edith to put a Twinkie in his lunchbox before going to work.
* ''Series/{{Angel}}'': Fred loves tacos. (One notable difference about Pylea is its conspicuous absence of Tex-Mex.)
--> '''Fred:''' Are -- are you sure about that?\
'''Cordelia:''' Trust me. Tacos ''everywhere''. ...And soap.
* ''Series/AgentsOfSHIELD'': In "The Hub", when Fitz prepares for his first field assignment, Simmons makes him his favorite sandwich; prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella with a hint of pesto aioli. He doesn't get to eat it (Ward threw it to some wolves) but at the end of the episode he assures her it was delicious.
* ''Series/ArrestedDevelopment'':
** George Bluth, Sr. and ice cream sandwiches. It's understandable: the visitation area at Orange County Prison has a vending machine that ''only'' contains [[BlandNameProduct unlabeled]] ice cream sandwiches, and they appear to be one of the only sweet treats that inmates at the prison have access to. Even after George, Sr. gets out of prison, he apparently never loses his addiction to the things, and he's seen eating them many times afterwards.
** Buster Bluth and juice, which fits his ManChild persona. [[MyBelovedSmother His mother Lucille]] severely restricts how much of it he's allowed to drink, which (naturally) just makes it even more appealing.
** Creator/CarlWeathers loves stew. Due to being a washed-up actor without a lot of money, he appears to mainly subsist on cheap stew made from various bits of food that he steals from Hollywood parties. During his acting days, he supposedly did the same thing with food from craft services tables.
--->"Whoa, whoa, whoa! There's still plenty of meat on that bone! Now you take this home, throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato... Baby, you got a ''stew'' goin'!"
** Ann Veal loves hardboiled eggs with mayonnaise (or "mayon-eggs", as she calls them). Two exceptionally bland foods for an exceptionally bland girl.
* Custard tarts are SeriousBusiness in ''Series/AsTimeGoesBy''. Lionel keeps a constant supply, and Jean makes sure to pack some for the country (though she denies it when housekeeper Mrs. Bale makes it clear that she would never forget to stock them). When he inadvertently leaves his secretary Mrs. Flack alone in the house, his first reaction to finding her still there in the evening is to be indignant that she ate the last ones rather than remarking on the fact that she stayed.
* In ''Series/AuctionKings'', the Garrett brothers love cheeseburgers.
* ''Series/AustinAndAlly'' has Austin and his pancakes and Ally and her pickles.
* ''Series/TheBigBangTheory'' inverts the Main/DiscreditedTrope with Raj, who despises Indian Food.
** Sheldon seems very fond of spaghetti with hot dogs cut up in them. In terms of drinks, he enjoys strawberry quik, which he declared his favorite pink fluid.
* ''Series/BlakesSeven'': Vila sure loves his Adrenaline and Soma!
* In ''Series/BoardwalkEmpire'', crime boss Arnold Rothstein loves milk and cake, which emphasizes his StraightEdgeEvil nature.
* ''Series/{{Bones}}'' probed new and strange levels of {{Troperiffic}}ness when it was suggested that Booth's constant attempts to get Brennan to eat fruit pie were his form of seduction. In the seventh season premiere, Brennan actually ate Booth's pie while they discussed living together. Sweets may have been onto something. Brennan also enjoys french fries. Although she insists that they taste better when she swipes them from Booth's plate.
* ''Series/TheBradyBunch'':
** In several episodes, it appears the Bradys are partial to pizza. Several episodes have the kids taking their dates to local pizzerias (including, most famously, "Peter and the Wolf," where in the climatic scene two girls try to seduce fake-mustachioed Peter to get back at Greg ... only to nearly cause Mike to lose an important business deal to his conservative-valued client), while Greg buys his sweetie Rachel a pizza to share during the drive-in scene of "Greg Gets Grounded" (but it's the jumping frogs who get to feast). The Bradys eat pizza during a dinner scene in the episode "Bobby's Hero," and in "The Cincinnati Kids" Bobby and Cindy talk about going to a pizza stand after they get tired out looking for Mike's blueprints.
** Other food-related favorites: Jan enjoys Cinnamon Spice cookies, while Peter spits up his fudge brownie cookies upon discovering they are sold by the Sunflower Girls, the Girl Scout-type club he was strongarmed into joining in "The Liberation of Marcia Brady"; Peter also hates broccoli. Greg enjoys sandwiches, including bologna (in "Is There a Doctor in the House") and a Dagwood sandwich (in "Welcome Aboard"). The most famous meal was porkchops and applesauce, served in "The Personality Kid" and announced by Peter, Humphrey Bogart-style!
* Mike Ehrmantraut in ''Series/BreakingBad'' and ''Series/BetterCallSaul'' is fond of bringing Pimento cheese sandwiches to drug deals and stakeouts. Jesse Pinkman has a thing for Funyuns. Jesse's friend Combo also is seen to have gotten his name from his love of Combos.
* In ''Series/BrooklynNineNine,'' [[MadLibsCatchphrase Terry loooves]] yogurt. He can occasionally be bribed with fancy yogurt, and he is NOT happy if you mess with his yogurt in the fridge.
* ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'':
** Spike and Andrew: onion blossoms.
** Spike also likes Weetabix, specifically in his blood. He says it gives texture.
** In addition, Spike likes those buffalo wings served at The Bronze. He has quite a few favorite foods for someone who can't digest them.
** Buffy herself loves pizza with pineapple.
** "The General. Name classified. Like others, works for Twilight. Also craves cheese."
* Michael Westen from ''Series/BurnNotice'': yogurt. In one episode, he did a job simply because he was offered free yogurt.
* Brenda Johnson of ''Series/TheCloser'' and her Ring-Dings, although it kind of extends to [[SweetTooth sweets in general]], and she's been trying to quit. At one point, when she was stressing about a case (while trying to quit sweets), Lieutenant Tao handed her two eclairs wrapped in a napkin with these words:
-->'''Tao:''' "Please. For all our sakes."
* ''Series/{{Columbo}}'': A bowl of chili with crushed saltines, especially from Barney's Beanery.
* Brent from ''Series/CornerGas'', like others on this page, loves chili dogs.
* ''Series/CobraKai'':
** Johnny Lawrence and Coors Banquet (though there are times where he puts it aside for another drink).
** Sam has a SweetTooth, and her two favorite foods mentioned are her dad's banana-chocolate-chip pancakes, and her Sa'mores, which are S'mores with the chocolate replaced with a peanut butter cup.
* ''Series/{{Community}}'':
** Starting in Season 3, Abed's love of buttered noodles (likely influenced by his lack of cooking skills) is a RunningGag. One episode even features a {{dream sequence}} where he imagines buttered noodle ''vending machines''.
** Shirley takes pride in her baking ability, and is shown to be particularly fond of brownies. Before starting her sandwich shop at the end of Season 3, she was even planning on selling brownies for a living.
* In ''Series/TheCosbyShow'', Cliff loves hoagies but can't eat them because they upset his stomach. Theo loves his dad's recipe for bacon burger dogs.
* ''Series/Daredevil2015'': Wilson Fisk has two signature foods.
** His favorite dessert is zuppa inglese, an Italian desert similar to trifle. His mother used to make it when he was a child, and he occasionally jokes that his fondness for it is the source of his weight.
** For breakfast, his MorningRoutine involves making an omelet. In his intro scene in Season 3, we see Fisk continues this even in prison, although the results are clearly not as spectacular as they were in his first penthouse. Fortunately, once his penthouse in the Presidential Hotel is outfitted with all his old possessions, Fisk is able to make his quality omelets once more, in time for Vanessa's return and then their wedding.
* ''Series/{{Dexter}}'': Dexter and Harrison both enjoy porterhouse steaks.
** [[Characters/DexterDexterMorgan Dexter Morgan]] seems to have a fondness for steak. Pulled pork sandwiches and bananas are his favourite "driving" food.
* ''Series/DoctorWho'':
** The Doctor and Jelly Babies; mainly associated with the Fourth, but several of his other incarnations had a liking for them (e.g. the Eighth Doctor). Specifically, the Fourth Doctor's favourites are the orange ones. In a ShoutOut, the Master offered his wife a jelly baby right before decimating the world's population. The Twelfth Doctor also proffers his cigarette case to a man he's interviewing, opening it to reveal it's full of Jelly Babies (a direct reference to a similar gag in the Fourth Doctor story "The Face of Evil").
** The Ninth expressed a fondness for bananas and briefly switched one with Jack's Sonic Blaster to stop him from shooting at Jamie in ''The Doctor Dances''. The Tenth also likes bananas and gives Rose the advice to always bring a banana to a party in ''The Girl in the Fireplace''.
** In the ''Eleventh Hour'', the Eleventh spends a whole scene trying to figure out his favorite food. He decides on fish fingers dipped in custard, which becomes a little moment of bonding between him and his future companion Amy. It's even the [[TearJerker last thing he eats as 11.]]
** Eleven also mentions Jammie Dodgers a few times. It becomes a bigger RunningGag in the books. (Also a bit of LeaningOnTheFourthWall, as his actor admitted to liking Jammie Dodgers.)
** Clara Oswald seems to really like making soufflés, even if she hasn't entirely honed her skills at baking them yet. Clara's love of soufflés is interesting, because it also becomes a plot point in the story arc of the series she's introduced in, as well as providing a glimpse into her childhood backstory (as her mother liked making soufflés too and Clara considers her something of a role model in general).
** Thirteen loves custard creams, just like Creator/JodieWhittaker herself.
*** To the point where there being a dispenser in the Tardis was a rare ''positive'' example of EnforcedMethodActing. Whittaker didn't know they were in there, so she was as happy as she looks.
* ''Series/DueSouth'':
** Kowalski loved Smarties, the chocolate Canadian kind, especially in his coffee.
** Diefenbaker, Fraser's wolfdog, had a donut fetish.
** Buck Frobisher and his moose hock rolled in wild boar tongue covered in gorgonzola cheese.
* ''Series/TheDukesOfHazzard'': Boss Hogg loved any high-calorie dish he could get his hands on, especially extra-greasy fried chicken. His voracious appetite was once exploited in the episode "Cool Hands, Bo and Luke," the episode where the Duke boys, Boss and Rosco are kidnapped by a land baron wanting to blackmail Boss out of his holdings by tempting him with fattening dishes. However, in the first ever episode, it is revealed that he loves coffee...and raw beef liver. (For ''breakfast''.)
* ''Series/ElChavoDelOcho'': Ham sandwiches.
* Beans from ''Series/EvenStevens'' and bacon.
* ''Series/FamilyMatters'': Steve will do do anything for some cheese, and has other weird food tastes including frogs legs and anchovy paste; reflecting Jaleel White's real-life favorite food, Steve also loves ice cream. Carl, the police officer, enjoys the stereotypical cop favorite, doughnuts!
* Manuel of ''Series/FawltyTowers'' and his paella.
* Kaylee of ''Series/{{Firefly}}'' has a... [[EroticEating thing]] for strawberries, probably exacerbated by the fact that fresh fruit is hard to come by in space.
* ''Series/FistOfFun'''s "Rod Hull" really loved his jelly.
* ''Series/TheFlash2014'''s Dr. Harrison Wells is very fond of the Big Belly Burger at the local mall, and can be seen enjoying takeout at various points during the series, including when imprisoned in the Pipeline after his true identity is revealed. It turns out that the reason he likes it so much is that [[ExtinctInTheFuture they have run out of cows in the future]].
** H.R. cannot get enough coffee for a similar reason: a blight destroyed all coffee plants on Earth-19.
* ''Series/ForeverKnight'' Schanke had a love for Souvlaki.
** Screed had a vampire version of this: Rats. He was a carouche, a type of vampire who fed on something other than humans for his first meal, so, JustifiedTrope there.
* Joey on ''Series/{{Friends}}'' loves sandwiches, particularly meatball subs. He even started carrying around a bag for the express purpose of keeping a sandwich with him at all times. One episode has somebody bring a sandwich with them to cushion the blow when they give him bad news. He also enjoys jam and pizzas.
** Chandler also loves Yoo-Hoo chocolate milk; in addition to scenes that explicitly bring it up as a joke, there's also times during the series where he's drinking it without it being a set-up for a punchline.
** Monica's go-to drink order is sotch on the rocks with a twist. In the sixth season finale Chandler works out that she was in Richard's apartment because her drink is on [[NeatFreak a coaster]] on his coffee table.
* ''Series/{{Fringe}}'''s Walter Bishop seems to develop a new favorite food OnceAnEpisode, although his love of ice cream in various forms (most often strawberry milkshakes and root beer floats) remains constant, as does his fondness for Red Vines (though that could be ProductPlacement). In his case, it provides a rather important insight into his backstory: prior to the start of the show, he spent 17 years subsisting on bland cafeteria food while he was confined in a hospital psych ward; upon his release, he relishes the chance to rediscover all the foods that he couldn't get while he was locked up.
* ''Series/FullHouse'': Stephanie eats Oat Boats cereal for breakfast (and did a TV commercial for them once); and for lunch might enjoy pizza and frozen strawberry yogurt. Michelle loves Honey-Coated Fiber Bears for breakfast, while Jesse's favorite peanut butter is the Hunka Hunka Chunka-type Elvis Peanut Butter. Michelle is also ''very'' fond of ice cream (to the point that Jesse once bribed Michelle to tell him about Becky's baby shower by offering her a hot fudge sundae). Joey's favorite dessert was a brand of cookie called the Vanilla Weasel, and a subplot of one episode was his depression over the company that makes the cookie going out of business.
* ''Series/GameOfThrones'':
** Sansa really likes lemon cakes. Everyone seeking to manipulate her seems to know this.
*** Subverted in that her actress, Creator/SophieTurner hates them and has had to ask fans to stop sending them to her.
** Sandor has a memetic love of chicken, thanks to his [[EnemyEatsYourLunch threatening to eat every fucking chicken in this room if the one he was talking to didn't shut the hell up]], then proceeding to kill several armed men over said chickens.
* Spinelli of ''Series/GeneralHospital'', like any good hacker, can't function without his barbecue chips.
** Heather Webber was so enamored of the BLT's served at Kelly's that she memorialized them in abstract art.
* ''Series/GilligansIsland'': The favorite vegetables of some members of the castaways were revealed in "Pass the Vegetables":
** Gilligan: Spinach[[note]]Gilligan's claim that he likes spinach [[NegativeContinuity contradicts another episode]] where the same claim made the Professor's lie detector go off.[[/note]]
** Skipper: String beans
** Mary Ann: Carrots
** Mr. Howell: Artichokes
** Mrs. Howell: Beets
* ''Series/{{Glee}}'':
** Santana and Mercedes will break the law for breadsticks and tater tots respectively. And Will is shown eating a cookie in almost every episode.
** Will also has an appreciation for beer, having at least one in several episodes and its mentioned that he always stocks up on the good stuff.
** Emma and her grapes.
** Coach Beiste eats a rotisserie chicken with every meal, apparently.
** Kurt loves cheesecake.
* On ''Series/TheGoldenGirls,'' the ladies collectively had cheesecake as this. They apparently had a stockpile of them in their refrigerator and would crack them open like emergency rations whenever someone had a problem and wanted to talk. Although, in real life, Creator/BeaArthur (Dorothy) didn't really care for it that much, and knowing that, you can see she usually just poked at it with her fork without really eating it.
* ''Series/GoodGame'': Bajo really loves toasted cheese sandwiches, and sometimes would be interrupted by from his actual duties on the show by his quest for the perfect toasted cheese sandwich.
* ''Series/GoodOmens2019'': [[OurAngelsAreDifferent Angel]] Aziraphale is especially fond of crepes.
* ''Series/TheGoodPlace'': Eleanor Shellstrop's love of shrimp is a frequent RunningGag.
* ''Series/TheGreatestAmericanHero'': Bill develops a taste for dog biscuits, after having had nothing else to eat in the second episode.
* ''Series/HappyDays'': Richie's favorite meal is meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy; for breakfast, he most enjoys blueberry pancakes and freshly squeezed orange juice.
* Alf Ventress in ''Series/{{Heartbeat}}'' and his hard boiled eggs. He always has two in his lunchbox, and breaks the shells by tapping them together. Stopped for a while after some joker replaced them with raw eggs, but took it up again later on.
* ''Series/{{Heroes}}'': Hiro loves waffles with a burning passion. Sylar loves pie so much that he'll clean out an entire one by himself.
* On ''Series/HouseOfAnubis,'' characters appear with their favorite food so often that they are now considered {{cargo ship}}s. These are Mick and his bananas, Jerome and his apples, Joy and her cereal, and Eddie and his pancakes.
* ''Series/HouseOfCardsUS'': Frank loves his ribs.
* ''Series/HowIMetYourMother'':
** Barney Stinson can be constantly seen drinking Red Bull energy drinks. In fact, because of the amount of free advertising he has given them, Creator/NeilPatrickHarris now gets free Red Bull for Life. And they also gave him a mini fridge.
** Marshall and Ted share a passion for Funyons and pizza baked in the infamous Chicago Gazola's Pizzeria.
** Marshall's whole family collectively has mayonnaise, being a key ingredient in every dish they make.
* ''Series/HunterNBC'': Rick Hunter is often seen snacking on chili dogs or buying other people one. His partner [=McCall=] often protests Rick's cheap tastes.
* ''Series/ICarly'': Spaghetti tacos. More of a meme associated with the series than one character's fave, though. Fat Cakes, fried chicken, and ham for Sam. Horrible crap like Cucumber Cups with unflavored yogurt for Mrs. Benson. The iCarly gang as a whole enjoys smoothies (considering how often they're at the Groovy Smoothie), and in an early episode Spencer reveals that Carly's favorite drink is coffee, but that he usually gives her decaf without telling her [[note]] She was thirteen at the time, so it made sense [[/note]]
* There are a few in ''Series/ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia.''
** Charlie is often mentioned to eat an abnormal amount cheese, which makes his breath reek. In one episode Dennis even refers to him as "our cheese guy" in frustration over Charlie not having never heard of cottage cheese.
** Frank is often seen eating eggs, and will offer them to people as gifts or bribes. When he's feeling more festive he prefers rum-ham; a roasted ham that's been soaked in rum, so you get drunk the more you eat it.
** The Gang overall are barely-functioning alcoholics and are seen drinking booze almost every single episode. Usually it's just straight beer, presumably because of how cheap it is.
* Rosie's cheese in ''Series/JamAndJerusalem''. She frequently gives blocks of it to people as a gift or good luck token.
* ''Series/JeevesAndWooster'': Tuppy Glossop has a thing for steak-and-kidney pie. Gussie Fink-Nottle is a fan of orange juice.
* In ''Series/{{Justified}}'', Rayland is fond of ice cream.
** Errol has loved marinated pork tongue since childhood. Limehouse reminisces about how Errol's father would bring him pork tongue when Errol was a little boy.
* From the ''Franchise/KamenRider'' franchise:
** ''Series/KamenRiderDenO'': The Imagin, Momotaros in particular, are fond of pudding and can be bribed into doing just about anything if you offer them some.
** ''Series/KamenRiderOOO'': Ankh developed a taste for popsicles as a part of being a SenseFreak. He eats an absurd amount of them and has been bribed with a ''year's worth'' of them once. Meanwhile, Akira Date loves oden and eats it at every opportunity.
** ''Series/KamenRiderWizard'': Haruto, the eponymous magic-user, loves his plain sugar donuts, much to the annoyance of the donut shop owner (who keeps trying to get Haruto to try their latest specialty donut and is always shot down). Kosuke Nitoh, loves mayonnaise and will slather it on '''anything''' he eats -- even donuts, to Haruto's horror. [[note]] Japanese mayonaise is reportedly sweeter than the western one, but still, BizarreTasteInFood anyone? [[/note]]
** ''Series/KamenRiderDrive'': Shinnosuke is incredibly fond of milk candies, and usually eats them during his off-hours or when he's in a funk and is trying to cheer up.
** ''Series/KamenRiderGhost'': After being forced back into his mortal body, Alain starts to develop a liking for takoyaki, which he mistook for an Eyecon the first time over. He even [[BigEater finished 10 boxes of it in one shot]] without noticing. He even brings a takoyaki box to battle a horde of Ganma mooks before transforming into Kamen Rider Necrom, and in an episode where they battled a Ganma with power over dreams, Alain's dream world was him wearing a takoyaki hat while chowing down on an infinite supply.
* ''Series/KenanAndKel'': Who loves orange soda? Kel loves orange soda. Is it true?
-->'''Kel:''' Mmmhmmmmmm. [[CatchPhrase I do I do I do I do-ooooooo!]]
** Kel is very much implied to love tuna, pizza, ham and turkey as well, not to mention less edible fare, such as dog biscuits and Kyra’s “macaroni and cheese”, which is actually pork fat and mustard.
* In an example of ProductPlacement gone out of control, the main character of ''Series/KyleXY'' had a slightly disturbing addiction to Sour Patch Kids for much of the first season. Thankfully, this was averted by Season 2.
* ''Series/TheKidsInTheHall'' -- In a sketch, a man is stuck in a dead-end job at the sausage factory because his father can't get enough of them.
* On ''Series/LaverneAndShirley,'' Laverne loves Scooter Pies.
* ''Series/LazyTown'':
** Robbie's favorite food is cake. According to his actor, "Robbie would eat cake if it had sand in it."
** Ziggy is usually seen with a lollipop.
* Ruffle's All-Dressed Chips for the entire town of ''Series/{{Letterkenny}}''.
* Charlie Crews on ''Series/{{Life|2007}}'' loves fruit. Any kind of fruit. [[MundaneLuxury This is because he could never get it when he was in prison.]]
* ''Series/{{Lost}}'': much of Hurley's flashbacks revolve around chicken. In one episode he tells Libby he's had a lot of jobs, most of them having to do with chicken. He worked at, then owned, Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack. In one flashback, when a therapist asked him what he liked about himself, he answered, "I like chicken." The therapist said that wasn't something about himself, to which he responded, "I ''like'' that I like chicken."
* In ''Series/LittleLunch'', Mrs. Goncha really loves pavlova. So much so that the kids wonder if she doesn't love it a little too much in the episode "The Pavlova".
* ''Series/Lucifer2016'': Dan loves pudding cups, so much so that he almost kills Lucifer while under effects of a HatePlague because Lucifer keeps stealing his puddings from the precinct fridge. Dan's daughter Trixie loves [[GirlsLoveChocolate chocolate cake]]. When Dan needs to bribe her into doing something he promises Trixie she can have chocolate cake every day for a year.
* In ''Mama ist Unmöglich'', Mama is constantly seen eating Stracciatella ice cream. In fact, the very first scene in the first episode is her sneaking some in the middle of the night. She claims that she can't [[MostWritersAreWriters write]] without it.
* ''Series/MarriedWithChildren'':
** Peg is very fond of bon-bons, and in one episode, she makes her own, which takes whoever eats one a while to chew it enough times to swallow.
** Al rarely eats, but he has professed his love for Weenie Tots (which are considered to be nearly inedible by everyone else). Where in one episode he gladly went to prison after it was revealed the prison meals consisted of them. In another episode, the devil tries to punish Al by saying he'll only eat Weenie Tots for eternity, but this backfires since Al loves them.
* Radar O'Reilly from ''Series/{{MASH}}'' loves his Grape Nehi. Klinger is fond of the Hungarian-style hot dogs from Tony Packo's in his hometown of Toledo. And let's not forget the lengths Hawkeye went to to get Adam's Ribs from Chicago that one time. One episode shows that Colonel Potter is fond of tomato juice, and Radar went to insane lengths to make sure that the camp had a steady supply of it... [[AllForNothing only for the Colonel to remember that he was allergic to it]].
* ''Series/TheMandalorian:'' The Child/[[spoiler:Grogu]]'s favorite food is...frogs. Usually eaten live. [[FridgeBrilliance No wonder Yoda chose to live in a swamp]].
* One episode of ''Series/MrRobot'' has the titular character express his love for the appletini.
* ''Series/MrBelvedere'': When daughter Heather Owens gets upset over losing a boyfriend, she takes her sorrows out on a pint of rocky road ice cream ... before going shopping.
* ''Series/MurdochMysteries'': Detective Watts is a frequent visitor to Toronto's pretzel cart. At one point, the discovery of a half-eaten pretzel leads Inspector Brakenreid to conclude something's happened to him. Upon moving to New York, he apparently transfers his attentions to a bagel cart.
-->'''Jack''': How many of those are you going to eat in a day?\
'''Watts''': I don't keep count. I simply consume.
* ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000'' -- The Bots love their ram chips.
** [[Film/PodPeople Trumpy]] and potatoes. Or really, [[BigEater anything]] as long as he pretends it's a potato.
** Pearl Forrester and [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_a_Biskit Chicken in a Biskit]].
* ''Series/{{NCIS}}'' has two examples:
** Gibbs and his coffee.
** Abby and her [=Kaf-Pow!=] soda.
* ''Series/OddSquad'' gives us [[BlackBossLady Ms. O]] and her outright [[GRatedDrug addiction to juice boxes]].
* ''Series/OnceUponATime'': Regina has a thing for apples. Given, seeing how she is ''actually'' the evil queen from the tale of Snow White.
** Also, the Ice Queen owns an ice cream parlor, and is especially fond of Rocky Road. And Elsa and Anna, her nieces, are obsessed with chocolate.
** And Mary Margaret (Snow White), her daughter Emma, and her son -- Henry, [[SharedFamilyQuirks all love hot chocolate served with cinnamon.]]
* [[ButchLesbian Carrie "Big Boo" Black]] of ''Series/OrangeIsTheNewBlack'' has a particular fondness for salted corn on the cob, to the point that she's willing to smuggle corn and salt shakers out of Litchfield's mess hall. It's understandable, considering the show's {{prison}} setting: given the quality of most prison food, inmates are guaranteed to develop fixations on the few foods served behind bars that they actually like.
* ''Series/ParksAndRecreation'':
** Leslie Knope has sugar in general and waffles with whipped cream in particular.
** And while Ron Swanson enjoys meat, burgers and the like, he has a soft spot for breakfast food and is particularly enamored with bacon. Ron and Leslie often have breakfast at J.J.'s Diner because it covers both their tastes ([[BigEater and amounts]]). One time, to comfort himself after finding his favorite steakhouse shut down due to a health code violation, he went to a 24 hour diner and ordered all the bacon and eggs they had. And even called the waiter back to tell him [[NotHyperbole he was not exaggerating about the "all you have" part]].
--->'''Ron:''' I enjoy government functions like I enjoy getting kicked in the nuggets with a steel-toed boot... but this hotel always serves bacon-wrapped shrimp. That's my number one favorite food wrapped around my number three favorite food. I'd go to a banquet in honor of those Somali pirates if they served bacon-wrapped shrimp.
** And Ben's love for calzones, which is notable because not only does he love them [[DoesNotLikeSpam the entire rest of the town seems to hate them with a passion]], with Ben at least temporarily turning on them as well after a bout of food poisoning.
* Rex Dynamo from ''Series/{{Pixelface}}'' is obsessed with apples.
* In ''Series/PowerRangersSPD,'' it doesn't come up every episode, but Bridge loves his toast. Extra buttery. And he can't help but wiggle his fingers a certain way whenever he says "buttery." It came up once again at the end of the 15th anniversary episode two seasons later in ''[[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive Operation Overdrive]]''.
* ''Series/{{Powerless 2017}}'': Subverted. Emily and Van are under the impression that Atlanteans love tuna. And they do... as friends and allies. Emily has to hastily get rid of the freshly-cooked tuna before the Atlanteans see it.
* In ''Series/ThePretender'' one of the few obsessions of Jarod's that carried over into other episodes was his love of Pez.
* In ''Series/ThePrisoner1967'', Number 12 is so fond of pancakes that he's got the nickname "Flapjack Charlie." Or at least, [[ItMakesSenseInContext that's what Number 6 is conditioned to like when they're attempting to convince him he's no longer himself.]]
* ''Series/{{Psych}}'': Shawn Spencer and pineapples. To where there is a pineapple in literally every episode. Try and find them all!
* ''Series/PipoDeClown'': Klukkluk loves peanut butter, to the point "PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH!" ("Boterham met pindakaas") is one of his catchphrases.
** Shawn and Gus are in general both BigEater[=s=] and they often have a chance to eat. One reoccurring staple appears to be jerk chicken, to the point they actually have jerk chicken nachos.
** Also Japadogs, which leads to an interesting meta moment as Japadog is a chain of street food in ''Vancouver, Canada'' where the show was aired, despite the setting of the show being in ''Santa Barbara, California.'' (Granted, there was a New York location for a while, so perhaps in the setting of Psych, Japadog made its way to California.)
** Another favorite food of both Shawn and Gus is a deep-fried potato and cheese concoction of their own creation dubbed "Quatro Quesos Dos Fritos" made with potatoes and four varieties of cheese.
* Jimmy from ''Series/RaisingHope'' really enjoys fruit, mostly because his parents told him he was allergic to it. The reason? When he was a kid, Jimmy would eat all the fruit in the house.
* ''Series/{{Reba}}'':
** A few episodes mention that Kyra is quite fond of macaroni and cheese.
** Van mentions pizza frequently enough to qualify.
* Almost everyone in ''Series/RebeldeWay'' seems to like croissants for breakfast (called medialunas in Argentina). And, while the food of the ProductPlacement seems questionable to include, it's safe to say the students at least also had a soft spot for Pepsi Light, Shoco Bolas and Bubaloo. Bubaloo is a very popular candy in all of South America; a piece of fruit-flavored bubblegum with a gooey juice of the same flavor inside.
* To say that Dave Lister of ''Series/RedDwarf'' enjoyed the odd curry would be an understatement on scale with the very planets he once played pool with. He loves curry to such an extent that his early morning pick-me-up is a glass of chilled vindaloo sauce. He also has a trademark ''[[DoesNotLikeSpam un]]''favorite food: pot noodle.
* ''Series/SesameStreet'':
** Cookie Monster and cookies. Pictured.
** Mr. Snuffalupagus's favorite food has always been cabbages.
** Big Bird's is, not surprisingly, bird seed.
** Bert is partial to oatmeal.
** Baby Bear's favorite food is porridge. Inverted with his younger sister, Curly Bear.
* ''Series/ShakeItUp'' has Flynn and his bacon. At the end of the pilot, he came home with several pounds of it.
* ''Series/StargateSG1'':
** Samantha Carter has a thing for blue Jell-O. In fact, the whole team seems to be rather fond of the stuff, as well as Teal'c looking daggers at anyone who approaches his ice cream.
** Mitchell and macaroons. Expanded into somewhat of a RunningGag in the last season and the movies.
** Vala and pie.
* ''Series/StargateAtlantis'' has Teyla's inexplicable obsession with popcorn.
* ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'':
** Picard: Tea, Earl Grey, hot.
** Worf is very fond of his adopted mother's Rhokeg Blood pie. And prune juice. ("A warrior's drink!")
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu3qDNnPKSs Deanna Troi loves chocolate]]. Especially chocolate sundaes.
* ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'':
** Sisko loves his raktajino. ([[RealMenWearPink With a jacarine peel, on occasion.]])
** O'Brien is fond of coffee as well ("Jamaican blend, double strong, double sweet") and will even take it right before bed.
** Quark's mother Ishka enjoys a good bowl of tube grubs. So does Nog.
** After spending time on Earth at Starfleet Academy, Nog takes a strong liking to the human beverage root beer. Quark thinks that his son enjoying such a distinctly-human food is disgraceful, but eventually admits (quite shamefully) that after you drink enough root beer you can't help but like it.
** Dr. Bashir’s breakfast of choice consisted of red leaf tea with hot buttered scones and moba jam. He was also often heard ordering Tarkalean tea, “extra sweet.”
* ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'':
** B'Elanna Torres is known for enjoying banana pancakes.
** Seven of Nine is especially fond of strawberries.
** Janeway is often seen ordering coffee, from a replicator or from Neelix, and always takes it black. [[MustHaveCaffeine You do not want to be around her before she's had her coffee.]]
* In ''Series/StarTrekEnterprise'':
** During ''Silent Enemy'', the rest of the crew persists in trying to figure out Lieutenant Reed's favorite food so they can present it on his birthday, but he doesn't seem to have one. It turns out he likes pineapples enough to take injections to control his allergies to them.
*** It comes up again a season later in ''The Catwalk'', when he apparently values a pineapple cobbler ration pack enough to wager it in a card game.
** Played straight with Trip and his pecan [[DeepSouth paah]], though not to excess. That, and pan-fried catfish.
* ''Series/StarTrekDiscovery'':
** Lorca and his fortune cookies.
* ''Series/StepByStep'': Brendan loves double-stuffed Oreo cookies as a snack, while spaghetti and meatballs is his favorite dinner.
* ''Series/StillStanding'': Pizza for Bill.
* In ''Series/StrangerThings'', Eleven loves Eggo waffles. The fact that Hopper was bringing them to a dead drop in the woods in the first season's finale heavily implies that she survived taking out the Demogorgon.
* ''Series/{{Supergirl|2015}}'':
** Kara Danvers loves donuts, potstickers and pizza.
** Maggie Sawyer, according to Alex, loves tiramisu.
** Nia Nial loves breakfast burritos.
* ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'':
** Dean and pie is explicitly stated. However, he very rarely enjoys it, as Sam forgetting to buy it is a RunningGag. He also loves bacon cheeseburgers.
** Sam and health food, but specifically salad. This is a case of RealLifeWritesThePlot as Creator/JaredPadalecki disliked eating on camera and salad is an easier food to eat small pieces of.
** Ruby has an obsession with french fries.
** Castiel's host Jimmy Novak had a love of red meat used to comic effect by Famine, who drove Castiel to being compared to [[UsefulNotes/McDonalds the Hamburglar]] and eating handfuls of raw meat.
** Castiel himself really liked peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while human. He was disappointed when he regained his Grace and discovered the sandwiches now taste like individual molecules.
** [[TheGrimReaper Death]] likes junk food, like pizza and fried pickle chips.
** Jack and chocolate nougat. His childlike glee when he discovers it says it all.
--->'''Jack:''' I like nougat!
** Rufus and Johnny Walker Blue. A generally cantankerous character, he can easily be bribed with a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue.
* ''Franchise/SuperSentai'':
** In ''Series/DenshiSentaiDenziman'', [[Creator/KenjiOhba Daigoro's]] favorite food is a pastry called anpan, a sweet roll filled with -- usually -- red bean paste, and he practically runs on the stuff. He carries a certain amount of it on his person at all times, and his locker is filled with it. When he returns in ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger,'' we find him running a portable cart that sells it. You'd think that'd be the ''worst'' job for him: he'd eat all his wares and never make money!
** The Bowzock of ''Series/GekisouSentaiCarranger'' always have a batch of fresh Imo-Youkan [[note]] a yellow cube-shaped food made from jellied sweet potatoes[[/note]] wherever they go. Justified as this is what [[MakeMyMonsterGrow upsizes them]].
* ''Series/TalesOfTheGoldMonkey'': The only thing Corky likes more than a cold beer is [[SweetTooth American chocolate]]; he pays for it when the dentist comes calling.
* ''Series/TeenWolf'': Sheriff Stilinski and Stiles both seem to share a particular love of curly fries. Malia likes ''deer'' -- pizza. She likes pizza.
* The ''Series/{{Teletubbies}}'' subsist entirely on Tubby Custard and Tubby Toast.
* The "Duck and Chips Family" on the British sketch show ''Tittybangbang'', all of whom were obsessed with eating duck and chips.
* ''Series/TrailerParkBoys'' exaggerates this and plays it for laughs with Randy, who loves cheeseburgers so much that he has repeatedly [[{{Streetwalker}} prostituted himself]] for them and people treat his burger binges as though he's fallen OffTheWagon.
* ''Tumbletown Tales'': Tumbleweed loves sunflower seeds.
* Agent Cooper from ''Series/TwinPeaks'' is completely enamored of the cherry pie and coffee at the local diner. It's unclear whether he's always so enthusiastic about these dishes or if he thinks the diner is just that good. It's often said that Kyle [=MacLachlan=] either hated both from the start, or grew sick of these during the course of filming. Rumors are conflicting.
* Arby from ''Series/{{Utopia}}'' is rarely seen without his chocolate raisins. It turns out that this is the source of his assumed name -- [[TragicVillain as a child, his captors]] called him [[SignificantMonogram Raisin Boy]] when they forgot what his real name was.
* Geraldine Granger from ''Series/TheVicarOfDibley'' is a BigEater and has a SweetTooth, but particularly loves chocolate. She's dived head first into a chocolate fountain and can eat dozens of chocolate bars in a single sitting.
* ''Series/TheWalkingDead'': Ever since the apocalypse happened spaghetti are viewed as a largely desired luxury food. Whoever is able to cook them is viewed as someone who got particularly well off in the walker world.
* ''Series/{{Webster}}'': The tyke-sized title character eats Sugar Sweeties and Farina Pops cereal for breakfast; and he and George enjoy chili cheese dogs at Sloppy Eddie's, and pizza at Angelo's Pizza.
* C.J. Cregg in ''Series/TheWestWing'' is fond of [[http://www.pepperidgefarm.com/ProductDetail.aspx?catID=772 Goldfish crackers]]. This caused some confusion in an early episode, when Danny Concannon misunderstood and bought her an actual goldfish pet as a present. (Gail, the goldfish in question, remained with C.J. through the rest of the show's run, with the decorations in her bowl changing to match the theme of the episode.)
* Omar of ''Series/TheWire'' loves his breakfast cereal, especially Honey Nut Cheerios, which he can never seem to find. In one scene he walks out in his bathrobe to the local store to buy a new box, even though he's got a price on his head. His reputation is so fearsome, however, that the local pushers who do see him toss out their stashes rather than risk a fight.
* ''Series/WordOfHonor'': Wen Kexing loves walnuts. He's seen eating them at least once an episode.
* ''Series/TheXFiles'':
** Mulder ''loves'' sunflower seeds. He reveals in "Aubrey" that his father also loved eating them and the sound of his father crunching on them often comforted him after he awoke from nightmares.
** Scully has a borderline obsession with health food. This includes tofu ice-cream ("The Unnatural") and stirring bee pollen into yoghurt for her lunches ("Dreamland, part I"), even though Mulder tells her she's a scientist and should know better. When she's eating a salad in "all things", she can't be bothered by Mulder's rant about crop circles in England. Although you might think [[SubvertedTrope otherwise]], because in "Bad Blood" she's hungry and irritated that her last meal was a half a bagel with ''light'' cream cheese, and not ''real'' cream cheese.
** It becomes somewhat of a RunningGag in "Empedocles" when pregnant Scully is craving pizza.
