And the reason she wants to do it is because she believes it was the only way she could show she cares for her family. Her final good-bye to her husband is especially sad. |

As their world collapses all around them, they [[GracefulLoser both ultimately concede defeat]], [[FaceDeathWithDignity embrace their ends with dignity]] and spend their final hours walking together, having a [[ShipTease nice little heart-to-heart with each other]] and just generally enjoying each others' company as they [[TogetherInDeath disappear along with the rest of their world]]. The normally stoic Byaku even gives [[WhenHeSmiles a genuine smile]]! |
