13	* Dr. Forrester comes out with his big announcement: he's created the Umbilicus, a 270-mile tether intending to physically connect the Satellite of Love to Deep 13. Gypsy happens to be the primary conduit for the connection, and she's not shy about how uncomfortable she is about it. The connection ceremony hits a snag when Frank has to run out and get an adapter from the hardware store, so Dr. Forrester sends the SOL crew a movie to pass the time.

16	* Inspired by Mel Torme, Servo decides to do some scat singing. Mike and Crow allow it at first, but seconds later, they're preparing to blast him out of a rocket. Unfortunately, Commercial Sign starts and they have to let him out.
