A new fad, Animology, has taken Middleton High School by storm and everyone except Kim is really into it--Kim doesn't see what the appeal is, calling it "a lame cross between astrology and a personality quiz." After Ron is deemed a "Pink Sloth" by the fad, he declares it bogus and leaves his book behind, which Kim finds. Despite her previous dislike of it, Kim soon finds herself working through the night on the Animology test and learns that she's a "Blue Fox".

Meanwhile, SeƱor Senior, Sr. and his son chill at the Billionaires Club after Kim foiled an earlier scheme of theirs, but the club's president, Philippe Bullion, suspends their membership, due to Senior's losses to Kim poorly reflecting on them. Vowing revenge, Senior steals a "cryovator" device from frozen food magnate Pop Pop Porter, which Kim is called on to investigate. Tracking the Seniors to their island, she and Ron are captured and strapped to a conveyor belt leading to the cryovator, while Senior plans to use a larger version to freeze the Billionaires Club. Kim also learns that Junior is into Animology and that he is a "yellow trout", which, according to Animology, is supposed to be the "perfect soulmate" to a blue fox, much to her disgust.

With Rufus' help, the heroes manage to escape and arrive at the island that serves as the Billionaires Club headquarters, rescuing Bullion in the process. Senior attempts to destroy the duo with missiles, when Junior recalls Ron earlier calling Kim a "blue fox" and keeps his father from hitting them, the missiles destroying the jumbo cryovator instead. As Junior declares his love for Kim, an angry Senior flies them back to the island to plot revenge.

Back at Middleton High, Kim receives a large amount of flowers and a video message from Junior. Ron again expresses his dislike for being a Pink Sloth, causing Amelia to be relieved, since that's supposed to be her soulmate. As Ron frantically chases after her to make his case, Kim puts one of Junior's flowers into her hair.

!! This episode contains examples of:

* AbhorrentAdmirer:
** Junior for Kim, though she seems to change her mind at the end. (Or maybe she just likes his taste in flowers.)
** Ron for Amelia.
* AbortedArc: Junior being in love with Kim basically started and ended with this episode.
* BalloonBelly: Ron and Rufus both get one after eating a whole mess of Pop Pop Porter's corndogs.
* BigRedButton: Senior's conveyor belt has one, and Rufus manages to push it (after getting fat enough) to save the day.
* BlatantLies:
** No, Kim's not into Animology, she's only doing it for laughs.
** And she also completely avoids fried foods.
* BondVillainStupidity: [[LampshadeHanging Pointed out]] by Senior himself.
--> '''Junior:''' Did we not leave Kim Possible on [[ConveyorBeltODoom a conveyor belt to her doom?]]\
'''Senior:''' Yes, a proper villain always leaves his foe when he's about to expire.\
'''Junior:''' Why?\
'''Senior:''' Well, it would be bad form to just lull about, waiting for it.\
'''Junior::''' Why?\
'''Senior:''' Tradition.
* BullyingADragon: Philippe Bullion thought it was a smart idea to ban a man known to be a world-class villain from his club and evidently didn't expect any form of retaliation whatsoever, thinking that Senior merely wouldn't show up anymore. Bullion's club gets frozen and he's nearly crushed by an ice stalactite when Senior returns with a vengeance.
* CallBack:
** Kim and Ron's "crimes"/"corn dogs" argument is similar to their "TakeOverTheWorld"/"steal Christmas" one they had back in "[[Recap/KimPossibleS1E1Crush Crush]]"; it even has the villain admitting that Kim was right and her being smug about it.
** Kim affectionately congratulating Rufus ("Good little hairless rodent!") after he saves her and Ron from the freezing machine is harkens back to "[[Recap/KimPossibleS1E6BuenoNacho Bueno Nacho]]", where she congratulates Rufus after he helps her prepare cheesy nachos for the customers ("Good little naked mole rat!"). She even says the line in the same tone of voice.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint:
--> '''Ron:''' Tell me you don't wanna know your perfect mate.\
'''Kim:''' Not if he's some... blue baboon.\
'''Ron:''' Don't even joke Kim, a blue baboon would be disastrous for you.
* ContinuityNod:
** Amelia appears, [[Recap/KimPossibleS1E3TheNewRon yet]] [[Recap/KimPossibleS1E15AllTheNews again]].
** Also, Kim helps Pop Pop Porter, as she [[Recap/KimPossibleS1E15AllTheNews did once before]].
* ConveyorBeltODoom: Senior leaves Kim & Ron on one, leading to the cryovator.
* DatingCatwoman: {{Discussed|Trope}} by Senior: "Junior, dating an arch-foe is spitting upon villain tradition."
* DisproportionateRetribution: Senior seeks to freeze the entire Billionaires Club just because they kicked him out. [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]], naturally.
--> '''Senior:''' World-class villains are defined by disproportionate revenge.
* DoWrongRight: Philippe Bullion didn't suspend the Seniors' membership because of their criminal activity, it was because they kept ''losing'' to Kim that they've been banned.
* DumbassHasAPoint: Ron was right when he pointed out that Animology was bogus -- while the test itself may accurately predict a person's personality traits (for people in Middleton at least), it's not that accurate when it comes to predicting someone's "perfect soulmate" (with the only known exception being Kim's parents, who both took the test and were excited to see that they were soulmates).
** Case in point: Animology claims that the "perfect soulmate" to a Blue Fox (Kim) is a Yellow Trout (SSJ), [[SeriesFauxnale but in]] ''[[BigDamnMovie So the Drama]]'', [[RelationshipUpgrade the Blue Fox ultimately ends up with the Pink Sloth (Ron)]].
* HarmlessFreezing: What the cryovator causes luckily, or Ron would've lost his feet and Bullion his hand.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Kim claims that she avoids fried foods, but, as one commenter at the defunct TV Tome website put it, she regularly eats at Bueno Nacho and "they're not called "rebaked" beans."
* HypocriticalHumor:
** Both Kim and Ron wholeheartedly support and praise the Animology test until its results leave them unsatisfied and disgusted.
** James and Ann call Animology a silly teen fad and that after a week, Kim wouldn't care much about its results or finding a "soulmate", with James believing she's too young to even be thinking about soulmates. However, they then immediately reveal that they independently took the test themselves and are elated to see that they're soulmates.
* ITakeOffenseToThatLastOne: Animology describes the Pink Sloth as "[[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking an outcast, a follower, socially inept and smells of overripe fruit]]."
--> '''Ron:''' I do ''not'' smell of overripe fruit! ''([[InstantlyProvenWrong Rufus pops out of his pocket with an old banana peel]])''
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: While the Seniors [[VillainExitStageLeft evade arrest as usual]], this episode shows that their defeats against Kim has caused them to lose their membership to the Billionaires Club.
* KnowWhenToFoldThem: After the jumbo cryovator is destroyed and noting that Junior is too much of a hindrance right now, Senior opts to retreat to their lair, ready to give Junior an earful for his screw-up.
* LiteralMinded: After Senior suggests freezing the club members' assets as a way to get even, Junior comments that such a task would require a large freezer.
--> '''Senior:''' I was not speaking literally, my son! ''(beat)'' [[EurekaMoment Or was I?]]
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Junior saves Team Possible from his father's missile attack after learning that Kim is supposed to be his soulmate.
* OpinionFlipFlop: Ron is more than willing to go along with Animology like everyone else, until it dubs him a "Pink Sloth", after which he quickly decries it. And he switches back again when he cries out that he's no Pink Sloth and Amelia then reveals that her soulmate is a Pink Sloth.
* SeriousBusiness: Animology is this to the students at Middleton High, even going so far as to not sit with people who seemingly conflict with their profile.
* StatingTheSimpleSolution: In the ColdOpen, Junior asks why his father didn't just buy the prototype he wants to steal online. Senior insists "some things are best done the old-fashioned way".
* StatusQuoIsGod: The whole "Junior wanting Kim to be his soulmate" thing was dropped after this episode and never brought up again except in a comic in ''Disney Adventures'' magazine.
* WhateverHappenedToTheMouse: We never see Kim and Ron retrieve the cryovator for Pop Pop after the Seniors' large version is destroyed.
* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: Junior wonders this when Senior plans to blast some icicles on the heroes.
--> '''Junior:''' Why did you not just aim the laser at their bodies?\
