Ron starts writing for the school newspaper, [[SchoolNewspaperNewshound looking for a big scoop]]. He eventually decides to interview Kim, but finds her to not be exciting enough for a story. However, after hearing her comment about how quarterback Brick Flagg was "totally hot" (meaning good) in the last school football game, he prints a story that leads everyone to believe that Kim has a crush on Brick, which nets him fame, and causes problems for Kim.

Later, Kim's called upon to retrieve a blimp stolen from Pop Pop Porter by famous extreme stunt performer [[PunnyName Adrena Lynn]]. When Lynn bungees out of the blimp and Kim catches her, it turns out to be a dummy, as the girl fakes all her own stunts (which her fans, who often copy her antics, are unaware of). Ron learns this and writes a story exposing Lynn as a fake, resulting in her show being cancelled. Back at Middleton High, Kim tries to deal with the Brick problem, but finds out he blew a big football game the last time he was dumped and can't go through with it.

Adrena Lynn, meanwhile, seeks revenge and kidnaps Brick to lure Kim and Ron to the Middleton Fairgrounds for a showdown. The two teen heroes manage to avoid all of the various carnival rides and Ron confesses what he did, but Lynn still has her sights set on defeating Kim. However, the young hero takes her on a ride on her jetpack, and forces her to admit to being a fraud on TV. After everything is said and done, Brick believes Kim set the whole thing up just to get a date from him and "breaks up" with her, much to her bewilderment. Ron plans to use this as his new story, but Rufus covers his mouth, to a grateful Kim's relief.

!!This episode provides examples of:
* AmusementParkOfDoom: Adrena Lynn's DeathTrap is set in one of these.
* AcquiredSituationalNarcissism: Ron, as usual, after his stories make him popular.
-->'''Ron:''' Looking good, KP. Oh, don't worry, baby. I'm not gonna forget about little people who got me who I am today.
* BrokenPedestal:
** Ron is noticeably very embittered when he finds out his idol Adrena Lynn fakes her stunts.
** The Tweebs also instantly lose all interest in Adrena Lynn once she confesses on public television she's not a true stuntswoman.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Twice does someone miss the point about Adrena Lynn.
-->'''Kim:''' ''[regarding Adrena Lynn]'' This show is a mind-numbing waste of satellite frequencies.\
'''Ron:''' You're right. Besides, I'm taping it at home.
** And of course:
-->'''Mrs. Dr. Possible:''' She didn't really bungee jump out of a blimp, didn't you watch the news?\
'''Jim:''' No, the only show we watch is Adrena Lynn.
* CreateYourOwnVillain: Ron publishes a story in the newspaper exposing Adrena Lynn as a fake with his photos, causing the network to cancel her show and drive Lynn to genuine villainy. Kim even notes how much of the situation, including Brick Flagg being held hostage, is the result of Ron arrogantly publishing these news stories for fame.
* DoNotAdjustYourSet: Adrena Lynn uses some equipment from her former show to broadcast her message.
* EvenTheDogIsAshamed: Rufus disapproves of Ron's "yellow journalism".
* FakeUltimateHero: Adrena Lynn had an impressive reputation for fearlessly performing dangerous stunts until it was revealed that she faked all of them.
* HeIsNotMyBoyfriend: Kim says this at least twice about Brick.
* HypocriticalHumor: Ron chastises Adrena Lynn for lying to make herself popular, unaware he's done the exact same thing.
-->'''Ron:''' She calls herself extreme, the big fake!\
'''Kim:''' [[DeadpanSnarker Imagine that, lying to the public just to build up your own reputation]].\
'''Ron:''' Disgusting.
* IgnoredEpiphany: After Ron confesses to being the one who canceled Lynn's show, we get this:
-->'''Adrena Lynn''': Hey, Kim! The Quarterback's almost out of time, and you're going the wrong way!\
'''Ron''': Adrena Lynn, you ''cannot'' do this!\
'''Adrena Lynn''': And why not?\
'''Ron''': ''I'm'' the one responsible for you being canceled. ''I'' called you a fake.\
'''Brick''': What?
-->'''Ron''': [[NotSoDifferentRemark I guess it takes one to know one]]. I made up that stuff about Kim liking Brick just to sell my story.\
'''Brick''': Oh, harsh!\
'''Ron''': It worked, kinda, but the thing is that [[HeelRealization if the fake part about you is what people like, what good is that?]]\
'''Adrena Lynn''': Hmm... You're right.\
'''Ron''': Right. From now on, I'm keepin' it real!\
'''Adrena Lynn''': Me, too... STARTING WITH MY VERY ''REAL'' DEFEAT OF KIM POSSIBLE!!! ''[[[EvilLaugh laughs maniacally]]]''\
'''Ron''': [[LampshadeHanging Okay, that didn't work]].
* LaserGuidedKarma: Fed up with her putting innocent people (namely Brick and Ron) in harm's way, Kim (who has done real life-defying stunts) gives Adrena Lynn (who fakes her stunts) a taste of what ''real'' danger feels like by riding her on her jet pack. After a few seconds, Kim successfully sweats the truth out of a frightened Adrena Lynn to admit in front of a live audience that all her stunts were fake.
* MeaningfulName: The episode title comes from the phrase "All the news that's fit to print"[[note]]the phrase was adopted as a slogan by the founder of the New York Times, and referenced his refusal to publish advertisements he considered dishonest or in poor taste[[/note]]; Ron's B-plot is about exactly what details of a person's private life are appropriate to publish, as well as concerns about accuracy in reporting.
* RootingForTheEmpire: InUniverse. As Mr. Possible says "Jim, Tim, there will be no rooting for your sister's foe."
* SadisticChoice: Ron and Brick Flagg are both stuck in Lynn's DeathTrap in the expectation that Kim will only be able to save one of them. [[TakeAThirdOption Kim easily rescues them both]].
* SchoolNewspaperNewshound: Ron assiduously searches for a big story after joining the school newspaper. After a few false starts, he gets his big break when he witnesses Kim rescuing what turns out to be a dummy dressed as Adrena Lynn from an apparent stunt mishap.
* ShooOutTheNewGuy: Adrena Lynn was originally intended to be a recurring villain and was even included in much of the show's promotional work. However, she proved to be unpopular with audiences, and only had one other appearance outside of this episode (a minor cameo in TheStinger of the GrandFinale).
* SpellMyNameWithAThe: {{Discussed|Trope}} in-universe.
-->'''Ron:''' That's it, I'll interview you, "the" Kim Possible!\
'''Kim:''' [[DeadpanSnarker Since when does my name have a "the" in front of it?]]
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Adrena Lynn is referred to at least twice as being a teen--but based on her appearance, she could easily pass for being in her early twenties.
