His superiors view him as incompetent and bigger threat to their organization than the hero. [[NotHyperbole As in the million-pound gorilla used to enforce the villains' code, which is named "Karma".]] Or maybe the solution to just run like hell and exploit the fact the zombies are [[Film/NightOfTheLivingDead1990 the slow and dumb Romero-types]] didn't foresaw that there was a [[Film/DawnOfTheDead2004 Snyder-style human tidal wave]] just on the other side of the hill and now everybody's out in the open with no refuge. Or no matter how much technology has marched on, "no weapon forged by man" means "no weapon made by man ''ever''" (even when it was made by trillion-generation robots because at ''some'' point in their original creation ten thousand years ago there was at least ''one'' man involved). And the list goes on...
