'''Food and Drink'''

As one would expect, the House of Food is a massive dining hall connected to one gigantic kitchen, filled with every tool, appliance, and ingredient one can think of. Only the best culinary experts can step foot on the hallowed ground of this kitchen, and should they ever gain that honor, they will find themselves at the forefront of creating new foods, recipes, and if they're lucky, entire cuisines of their own design. They are also responsible for feeding the rest of the Pantheon, and because deities have to eat too, the cooks of the House of Food enjoy an unofficial immunity from harm by other deities. When a god breaks that immunity, they come under a lot of fire and are banished from this House, forced to subsist on bread crusts and whatever their mortal followers will sacrifice for them.

There are other, lesser kitchens, but they are all subservient to this one. A god trying to [[{{Pun}} curry]] favor with the house has to spend a lot of time washing the many, many dishes. Rumour has it that one of them serves a [[BadGuyBar bar solely for bad guys]]. Though its existence has been confirmed, no one but villains/members of the GUAE know where it is, but the good guys know it's somewhere in the House.

There are only two food items of which these gods — even the hungriest and most gluttonous among them — are wary. The first is the dreaded "[[VideoGame/IWannaBeTheGuy Delicious Fruit]]". Despite its easy-sounding preparation method (boiling it thrice) the Fruit is an item of great lethality and deadliness to those unable to handle it properly. The second is "[[{{VideoGame/Persona4}} Mystery Food X]]", which despite having been sealed away in the vaults, still appears from time to time to tempt unaware gods. Of course, this makes them a popular subject of {{Self Imposed Challenge}}s.

While most of the tables are welcome for anyone, there is a special secret table reserved only for a specific group of gods known as the "Gourmet Racer Club". Admittance to this table is assessed by [[VideoGame/{{Kirby}} King]] [[Pantheon/{{Leadership}} Dedede]], who decides who gets to sit with him. Most of the members come from the First Pantheon Gourmet Race he and Kirby set up on his arrival, but the King makes special consideration to anyone who curry favors with him. Those blessed enough to sit at the table tell tales of food wonders and quantities that Head Chef Kaga and his followers prepare just for them. [[Pantheon/{{Nature}} Thor]] himself has stated the banquets served there would make Valhalla's own feasts look like mere appetizers. Most gods prepare themselves for whenever the next Gourmet Race will take place to earn a seat at the table.

Also while a FoodFight isn't uncommon in this house, the likes of [[WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} Teams RWBY and JNPR]] are the only ones who are heavily restricted to food items no bigger than a [[Memes/{{RWBY}} potato]] due to the fact that they have used other food items to mimic their weapons and because the last time they participated in one (though [[Pantheon/ActsOfWar Boomstick]] has apparently been in greater ones than theirs), they caused the House of Food to explode.

For the record, [[Pantheon/ClothingStyle Hat]] [[Pantheon/{{Gameplay}} Kid]] is not allowed to use any sort of cooking appliance here, as the last time she did, she decided to punish Mystery Food X by microwaving it, which just caused the microwave to malfunction and explode. While she does have regrets and apologizes for this incident, she is denied in preparing any food.

* Disappointed by: [[Pantheon/FighterArchetypes Tomoe Gozen]]
* For the longest time, Gordon Ramsay has been around the Trope Pantheons ever since the House of Food was first established as the '''God of [[ThePerfectionist Perfectionist Cooking]]'''. One day, he took a good look at his then title and found that it's kind of non-indicative; sure, he [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold expects a lot out of other chefs but all he wanted for them is to be the best they can be]]. He decided to rectify this by bringing his case to the Pantheon/CourtOfTheGods.
** The Judges decided to give him a fitting trope: AngryChef. Why? He infamously loses it in ''Series/HellsKitchen'' and ''Series/KitchenNightmares'' quite often, which add to his already existing fame. Mr. Ramsay found it fitting for him and accepted said trope, becoming one of the heads of the House of Food once again.
* The House of Food has been a lot louder since his ascension and reascension. He still keeps his tone very civil and tranquil around customers and children. Nevertheless, many chefs there look up to Ramsay, valuing his knowledge and work ethic. He also has several allies in the House of Commerce due to his business savvy and well-known cooking empire.
** He is also responsible for enforcing a code of cleanliness in the kitchen. Anyone that allows their cooking station to go uncleaned for any longer than the standard dinner service gets his full fury.
* He has declared that anyone who even thinks of serving raw food should be thrown out of the kitchen (and has done it several times already). Upon his ascension, he realized that some Gods prefer raw food and has modified his menu to reflect this, but anyone who attempts to serve raw food to customers that didn't order it gets a tirade of expletives at a minimum.
** Obviously enough, [[LethalChef badly-skilled cooks]] grinds his gears so much so he opposed the Mafia of Cooks and Plankton for making food so bad it drove away customers. They both are trying to find a way to get their food onto the main menu though chances are that won't be happening under his watch. Starjun seeks to take over the House of Food for himself, but Ramsay makes sure he stays in his assigned post and nothing beyond that. There are some evil-aligned sub-house of Consumption deities Ramsay had a bad footing with and he greatly opposed the very idea of the sub-house of Flesh Eaters; calling it, "an unfathomable and horrid mess that I refuse to ever set foot," though he admits a few deities there are not all bad.
** He calls [[Pantheon/SpecializedNarratives Chie, Yukiko, and Rise of the Investigation Team]] "very big disappointments" when it comes to Mystery Food X which he personally calls, "a pile of donkey ''*bleep*'' that makes raw meat look delicious". They did try to improve under his guidance but so far minimal progress has been made, much to his chagrin.
---> '''Ramsay:''' How the ''*bleep*'' can you let this slip by, huh?
---> '''[[Pantheon/InvestigativeWork Naoto]]:''' I don't know! It's a miracle that I'm still friends with them.
** He considers Tomoe Gozen as another disappointment due to a certain incident involving an attempt to something at "cook 10 minutes over high fire" when the direction written was "cook 20 minutes over low fire". While she handled his tirade calmly, that facade completely broke the moment he threatened to call in someone else to straighten her out (his imitation of a sparrow chirping was overkill).
---> '''Gordon:''' Oh my god... [[Pantheon/PantheonicPersonas like Persona, like user]] eh? You call yourself a housewife, huh? Would you like me to call '''[[Characters/FateGrandOrderSabersAToF HER]]''' over?
---> '''Tomoe:''' [visibly shaking] That will be unnecessary, sir.
* Some consider him to be a God of Emotion as well due to his constant outbursts. He maintains that he is a chef and his anger is a tool to make his fellow chefs learn from their mistakes. He did got so mad once, he swore for a whole day, causing even [[Pantheon/ActsOfRevenge Cartman]] to listen in stunned silence.
** This gave him {{Odd Friendship}}s in the Angry Video Game Nerd and the Nostalgia Critic since the three often [[SirSwearsALot swear a lot]]. Surprisingly, the two don't lose it in front of Ramsay that much; in fact they respect him and like his food. Of course, when they start to bicker, Ramsay had to kick them out for a while to prevent another ruckus.
** When pissed, he usually calls those around him "donkeys" or "doughnuts". He had to bite his tongue when he said that to ''Donkey'' Kong for many reasons. First, Donkey Kong [[InsultBackfire laughed]] at his face. Second? The ape had a barrel ready to be thrown at the House of Food. Of course, this still led to the ape being thrown out. This is Gordon Ramsay we're talking about.
** Benson is someone Ramsay can relate to due to getting pissed at their employees a lot [[HighPressureEmotion and their anger towards them shows]]. Ramsay often tell Benson to not lose himself when giving his employees a yelling, [[spoiler:especially after hearing that as a child, Benson never wanted to yell at first]].
* Has been known to stay his temper around children and amateur Chefs, but his reputation still intimidates them. That legendary temper got put to the test the day he met up with the Cutie Mark Crusaders coming into his Temple screaming, "''CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS MASTER CHEFS! YAY!!!''" What happened next is between him, the CMC and the other Equestrian Gods.
--> '''The CMC:''' We're sorry, Mr. Ramsay.
--> '''Gordon:''' ...That's okay, kids. Uh... [[LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain let's forget about this, alright?]]
** He is surprised that a giant creature like Gamera can be friendly to kids. They've been allies since and Gamera is willing to be Ramsay's muscle should the head chef face a very powerful enemy.
* Was nearly beaten up by [[Pantheon/CommercialArchetypes Charlotte LaBouff]] after she believed he was hurting [[Pantheon/ChefsAndEstablishments Tiana]]'s feelings, when he was actually commending Tiana for her diligence and determination. They are on better terms now (thanks in no small part to Tiana's gumbo).
* Is not afraid to admit that he loves his mum, even curbing his swearing in front of her. He heard that even Kurei also behaved around his mother, though that didn't stop Ramsay from opposing him and his violent ways.
** He's also quite an [[AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents Amazingly Embarrassing Dad]], much to the amusement of the House of Pantheon/FamilyAndRelatives. There's even a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPmKuzYKz0E reel of these moments]]. This makes him buddies with Maes Hughes, who also embarrass himself and his family a lot. Ramsay found it both stupid and sad that Hughes [[FatalFamilyPhoto shown his family photo which led to his fatal end]].
* Ramsay and Asroc don't really get along even if the latter is a great chef (with a specialty in sweets). While Ramsay is a {{Jerk with a Heart of Gold}}, Asroc is [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk just a jerk period]], even setting aside his murderous hatred against normal humans. [[EvenEvilHasStandards At the very least, he can agree with the notion that Mystery Food X is an atrocity to the culinary arts]].
* Has welcomed the [[Pantheon/MealsAToM KiraKira PreCures]] and congratulated them when the [=KiraPatisserie=] opened in the Pantheons. He finds their desserts to be exquisitely delicious, [[Series/KitchenNightmares unlike a certain baking company]]...
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99-n42Xb6NQ Has been in a rap battle against]] Creator/JuliaChild. The jury is out on who won. Though he himself implied that he won.
* Apparently, he acts the same way whenever he's the boss of something besides cooking. When a mortal studio wanted to make a video game based on him and VideoGame/DinerDash, Ramsay himself made sure that they followed "exactly" what he wanted it to be like. Needless to say, he gave the House of Pantheon/{{Gaming}} quite the scare.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9DyHthJ6LA He got on Hot Ones]] after a lot of people were pestering him about appearing in an episode. He came in prepared... and refuses to have an experience like that ever again. That doesn't stop him from serving spicy chicken wings, since he knows there's a demand for it in the Pantheons.

* Respected by: [[Pantheon/{{Voices}} Shuichi Akai]]
* In the loosely-connected multiverse of Magazine/ShonenJump exists a world that has entered the Gourmet Age, where the world's manliest heroes quest for yet-undiscovered culinary delights. This world's economy centers primarily around gourmet foods, so no two jobs are more important than the Bishokuya, a food provider who hunts down the best ingredients to be used in a gourmet meal, and the Chef, who actually cooks and prepares the meals. Because most people involved in this trade will be specialized in one job or the other, the chefs often go to the hunters when they want to catch specific high-quality ingredients. Despite this, an exclusive Combo partnership between a gourmet hunter and a chef is very rare, since that type of arrangement is essentially a professional marriage reliant on the two involved having a nigh-perfectly mutual understanding of food itself.
* Toriko and Komatsu's tag team was a match made in heaven. They were both already well-experienced and very good on their own. But after they met and later became partners, they became nigh-unstoppable and broke into the very elite of their trade. The reason for this is that they both have an uncannily innate understanding of ingredients and food, with Toriko's ability to sense and identify everything about an ingredient ''down to its ease or difficulty of capture'' through his nose and Komatsu's literally spiritual sixth sense that allows him to "hear the voice of the foods' spirit" and know best how to discover and prepare them.
** Because of this, the two bucked the {{shonen}} trend of the child or rookie protagonist but their combination kept the spirit of self-improvement that proper protags should have, allowing them to make a good impression with the likes of Luffy, Ichigo, and Goku. Their friendship actually reminds Goku of himself and [[Pantheon/CombatOther Krillin]], though Luffy has commented that it's more like how he is with the Straw Hats due to how much more often they hang out because their jobs literally assist each other.
* Komatsu prepared a dish of Century Soup to celebrate Toriko's acceptance into the Pantheon's House of Food. Everyone found it supremely delicious, and when they found out that Komatsu and Toriko are companions, they immediately made Komatsu a member of the Pantheon as well. Being both a master chef and a man full of heart, Komatsu is NOT to be harmed in any way. You WILL piss off both Toriko and any other friends they've made along the way, and have them hunting your head.
* A Bishokuya, by trade, is a fighter. They have trained and honed their skills to the point of superhuman in order to capture the most high-level ingredients. That's what it means to be an elite food hunter. Because of this and his Gourmet Cells' ability to receive tasty food power-ups, Toriko is a ''very'' strong and capable combatant, and as his and Komatsu's food skills grow he only gets stronger. This and him becoming more heroic over time has a lot of villainous deities very worried.
* They are banned from the House of Pantheon/BeastsAndFauna for trying to eat its inhabitants (which Komatsu profusely apologized for).
* Toriko once led the Four Kings into [[Anime/Dream9SuperCollaborationSpecial an IGO-hosted race]] against both the [[Franchise/OnePiece Straw Hat Pirates]] and the [[Franchise/DragonBall Z-Fighters]] over a rare, juicy, and absurdly expensive meat, effectively entering a [[MeleeATrois three-man duel]] with Goku and Luffy, both in fighting and in eating. Though [[Pantheon/{{Heroism}} Mr. Satan]] accidentally won the contest, Goku and Luffy bonded with Toriko over it, all being very similar strong guys who both [[BigEater love eating great food]] and [[AccidentalHero just want to do their thing but can't stand seeing innocents get hurt]]. Goku thinks Toriko would probably be more powerful if he trained with more strong fighters, which he has ample opportunity to do here in the Pantheon.
** After hearing about the Gourmet Race run by Kirby and King Dedede, he joined in unannounced alongside others. Being far more busy eating the food along the way rather than making it to the finish line, he ended up in a tie for second alongside Luffy. Nevertheless, he earned himself a seat at the Gourmet Racer Club for not just impressing Dedede, but also appealing to his appetite with the promise of Century Soup and allowing Komatsu to cook for the Club table as well.
* While they were overjoyed to see the ascension of their friend Coco in the Pantheon, Toriko and Komatsu would find much less pleasure in the fact that his tenple was in the Hall of Toxicity, a place where the majority of its inhabitants are evil. One of Coco's hall mates, The Lich, caught Toriko and company's attention and immediately became someone they watch for as a threat due to having caused human extinction, meaning no one to enjoy food. The villainous Majin Buu also ended up on their radar due to similar reasons.
* After M. Bison tried to recruit Coco to his own Four Heavenly Kings group as a temporary stand-in for his newest recruit to Shadaloo, the two groups came at odds with each other due to Coco's rejection. Said rejection ended up gaining them another friend in Rashid, after Coco introduced them following a visit he got from Rashid looking for said recruit. Toriko tested him in combat and allowed him to share in Komatsu's gourmet cooking that day.
** Then that recruit, the assassin F.A.N.G. of Nguuhao, came to the Pantheon and very quickly came to blows with Coco. Sure enough, Komatsu has brought up the idea of bringing in Sunny and Zebra to complete their Four Kings set in the Pantheon. This proposal came in handy when F.A.N.G. tried to cast Coco out of the Pantheon by leading a bunch of Shadaloo goons in destroying his temple. They were able to keep Coco around as well as grant Sunny, Zebra, and others passes to visit as well by appealing to the Court and getting them all positioned as Heralds.
* They were visited by both Ryuji Sakamoto and Chie Satonaka, both wanting Komatsu's best meat…or [[TrademarkFavoriteFood steak, thanks to Chie]]. Neither of the guests knew each other, but they apparently discovered a connection between them while talking as they waited for him to prepare the food. They quickly made good friends not only with each other, but with Toriko as well over the six-star meal Komatsu cooked up for them. Komatsu got paid well that day.
* Megumi Tadokoro slowly became friends with Toriko after Soma Yukihira introduced them; although Toriko's personality is a little overwhelming, she gets along pretty well with fellow chef Komatsu, who is much calmer by comparison and is giving her a few tips of his own on how to improve her skills.
** Her attempts with some of the ingredients from Toriko's world didn't turn out too well: Soma had neglected to tell her about some of the more exotic ingredients and the fact they break many 'rules' of the foods she's worked with, and she ended up making a more than a few disastrous dishes. As she has no intention of setting up shop in [[DeathWorld Toriko's world]] in general, she's politely declined to try again, sticking with the 'normal' ingredients she's familiar with.

* A dreaded food critic in Paris, just about any restaurant he visits is surely doomed, for chefs can hardly hope to delight his taste buds. Typically, Ego leaves them with scathing reviews and bad ratings, and more often than not, the downfall of many a chef's career. Because of his reviews, all rising restaurants fear the name "Ego", knowing they can't possibly please the incredible expectations of the critic. However, Ego finally found his match in Remy, a rat that made a meal which successfully pleased Anton Ego: A dish of ratatouille. Despite the chef being a rat, Ego's experience with Remy's food was so enjoyable that he had to give a positive review for once, ending his career in the process, since giving a positive review to a restaurant with a rat problem didn't look good on him.
* Once a herald of Remy and an investor of his bistro, Ego had an epiphany after a long time of boredom and hearing enough rumors about all the chefs in the Pantheon. Deciding that the Pantheon needed someone to challenge their supposed talents, Ego went up to the Court of the Gods to request for his ascension into the Pantheon formally. When he was offered the trope of FrenchCuisineIsHaughty to go with, Ego chuckled at the suggestion. Taking the trope for himself, Ego accepted his new position in the Pantheon, stating that he had no intention of bringing the standards of cuisine any lower, and so Ego's reputation as a tough food critic began to rise again in the Pantheon.
* Ego has become well known for his influence on the House of Pantheon/{{Food}} ever since his arrival. Many an aspiring chef seek to make a meal that can keep up with Ego's standards for the sake of proving themselves, which is far easier said than done. He may have lightened up ever since Remy's food impressed him, but he certainly hasn't lost his strict standards. While Ego notes that he may have a bias toward French meals and is not completely fit to absolutely determine a chef's worth, Ego will still eagerly try the best from them if others believe they are worthy to see eye to eye with the critic. Additionally, with his businessman skills, Ego also has some influence in the House of Pantheon/{{Commerce}}, for the purpose of lending funds, investments, or fitting economic support for chefs that he or other deities see much potential in. That said, he considers the dining of alien food out of his scope. He's only human, after all.
* Gordon Ramsay was surprised to see Ego in the Pantheon and decided it was obligatory for his cooking skills to match against Ego's taste buds. Being one of the first to challenge Ego, he was determined to make a dish that could please even him. Of course, he could've just gone the easy way and make his own ratatouille or a similar dish to do the job, but he was very sure that he wanted to impress Ego in his own way. After a day of preparation, Ego visited Ramsay's temple to see what one of the more renowned chefs in the Pantheon could make to have Remy excited to work with, and it was given. Immediately, Ramsay personally went to Ego to take his order, and Ego simply asked for the best French cuisine he could make. After a long wait, Ramsay had delivered to Ego a platter of both well-known and more obscure dishes that he knew even the tougher reviews would like. To the surprise of skeptic followers of Ego, Ego ate through the dishes thoroughly, and didn't spit it out like he usually did with most restaurants he met. His assessment of Ramsay's efforts were not as positive however. While Ramsay certainly didn't make a bad meal, and the dishes did delight him, he said that he couldn't give a pleasing 5 Star review, and stated that he preferred Remy's meals overall. But on the bright side, the attempt still made Ego happy that he ascended into the Pantheon, and told Ramsay that his work certainly puts nearly all other restaurants he's previously visited to shame. While Ramsay feels bittersweet about Ego's 4 Star review, it's only made the chef more determined to make an even better meal next time, and the same goes for many determined chefs in the Pantheon.
** Ego and Ramsay still get along in general, not only for Ramsay's cooking but for his efforts in helping other chefs improve as well. Probably due to Ramsay's tough attitude befitting Ego's harsh standards, they both respect each other for their care about the culinary world. Learning of Ramsay's ventures into [[Series/KitchenNightmares the more infamous restaurants]], where he had to experience the poor dining of many restaurants and their poor managers, as well as either helping those restaurants improve themselves, assuming the owners aren't arrogant enough to damn themselves in proving their ineptitude, Ego's respect for Ramsay only improved further. Ego also pities him for having to eat through all of those bad meals too, and believes if he had to go through all of that, he'd die from sheer disgust.
* Truly understanding the motto of Chef Gusteau, "Anyone can cook", he knows fully well that he can't assume the ability of a chef and the quality of their cooking by class or origin alone. However, he did bring with him an assistant to look over visitors' profiles in the Pantheon. If a deity has LethalChef or anything of the sort in said profile, Ego won't even let them visit him. He's a critic, not a teacher, he wants to add, and if they want to be worthy of meeting him they'd be better off trying to learn from other renowned chefs in the Pantheon and prove themselves to everyone else first. Ego is a critic, not a taste tester, and he wants to ensure that other chefs in the Pantheon know the difference.
** And yet, when asked about his thoughts on Gusteau's cooking in hindsight, Ego claims that his opinions on that matter have not changed. He may have been wrong about Gusteau's philosophy, but his cooking did not impress Ego at all, and that was that. His respect for Gusteau may have improved, and likewise his sympathy toward the chef himself, but Remy's actions can't retroactively make past meals better. He does regret that Gusteau died before he got to see Remy restore his honor, however, and wish that he could see how Remy had succeeded where he failed.
** Ego especially has nothing good to say about the Mafia of Cooks, nor anything that they make themselves, considering them as a blighted tumor in the culinary world, on top of a problematic group of criminals that deserve whatever misfortune is brought about on them. Furthermore, he's heard that among the Mafia of Cooks is someone that swaps out their disgusting dishes for authentically good meals in secret. He learned about Cooking Cat from Hat Kid and was curious about trying out a dish from Cooking Cat, but doesn't want to reveal that he's among them, so he'll have to bury his curiosity about Cooking Cat, to his chagrin.
* Other well known chefs would attempt to impress Ego, among them being Sanji of the Straw Hat Pirates and Toriko and Komatsu. They both made meals that also managed to be successfully eaten by Ego, finding them delectable, but as with Ramsay, they haven't outmatched Remy's food in terms of impressing him yet, but notes that they definitely have a shot at doing so. Ego's particularly interested in trying Sanji's best meals after he eventually discovers the All Blue, for the sake of creating meals from the best ingredients he can find. He's even more interest in the world that Toriko comes from, being in a "Gourmet Age" where social status is equivalent to cooking skill, as far as he's aware. He wonders if being in that world with his hard-to-please tastes would have an impact on all the chefs there.
* He hasn't found many a food critic besides Ramsay himself, but found Erina Nakiri to be a reliable business partner to work with, on top of respecting her work as a chef as well. Through her, he also got to know about Megumi Tadakoro, well known for her ComfortFood, so he decided to visit her temple knowing how it was such types of meals that got him to open his heart again. After trying her meals, he gave her constructive criticism about aspects of her work and her cooking that she should improve on, but noting that he still liked her meals and encourages her to become an even better chef. His thoughts on Soma Yukihira are much more contestable and troubling, however. While he doesn't outright despise the chef, knowing well he can make amazing meals as Soma's first impression on Ego proved, one day Soma decided to give him one of his more experimental dishes, leading to Ego spitting out the first bite he took from it. Chastising Soma for trying to play with Ego's taste buds, his views on the chef have soured despite knowing that his skills as a chef are still admirable on a professional level.
* Aside from a good meal from Remy, Ego enjoys nothing else more than an exquisite and classy glass of wine. He's brought his own supply of Cheval Blanc '47 into his temple in the Pantheon, but is disappointed about how few understand how great such valuable wine is. He does hold much appreciation for Bacchus due to how he represents wine itself, but Ego was hoping to find someone who ''understands'' the difference between the common and the classy wines. One day, while relaxing within the Hall of Alcohol, he would encounter a rare visitor, Lilly of the Katawa Girls, who had an enhanced sense of taste (developed due to her blindness) and was able to pick out one of the finer selections of wine the Pantheon had available, and not out of coincidence. One friendly greeting later, they were both in an unusually positive mood discussing the better drinks they've known. Ego believes that Lilly could be a great food critic as a side gig, despite beliefs that Lilly's blindness could get in the way. After the meeting, Ego left Lilly a bottle of Cheval Blanc '47 as a souvenir.
** Drinking wine and its [[AGlassOfChianti association with villains]] also displeases him, and loathes Hannibal for uplifting such a reputation, on top of all the nasty crimes and killings that he's done. A petty disliking, he knows, but he can't help it given how much the general association darkens his mood at times.
* It was bound for Ego to meet the Nostalgia Critic due to their reputation for being [[CausticCritic critics that can have quite a vile tongue about the things they dislike]]. They get along with each other on a professional level, though their personal opinions on each other's attitude are more conflicted. The Nostalgia Critic did find Ego's attitude before meeting Remy to be too dreary and negative even for him, and Ego finds the Critic's humor to be a bit too crude or perhaps absurd from time to time. Ego understands that presentation for the Critic works differently for him than Ego's own written reviews, but Ego still doesn't find the Critic's work to be completely enjoyable, though it hasn't strained their relationship much.
* Ego's been trying to help Igor get used to the world outside of his duties with Personas and all. Not because of general appearances, but because he thinks he knows how to get Igor adapted to good culture: A pleasant meal. It's not uncommon to find the two deities dining together while gossiping about other deities or explaining to each other about the world they came from, with Igor being intrigued by Ego's experiences in his more realistic world and Ego finding Igor's talks about his own interactions with other Persona deities to be quite the vivid tales. On the way, Ego has also lectured to Igor about the pleasure of classy food and a great glass of wine, due to an admittedly selfish interest in making Igor see the culinary world the way he does.
* During a visit to an urban city within the Pantheon, he was caught up in one of Vito Scaletta's criminal schemes, with the latter trying to fool Ego into believing he was a simple owner of an Italian restaurant. Having done his research before, Ego saw through the act and berated Vito for his unscrupulous past, and warned him that he has no intention of condoning his mafia lifestyle. Despite acknowledging Ego's words, Vito still insisted on serving Ego his special Bucatini recipe, given that he'd inherited the recipe from her mother and is really proud of his cooking of it. Agreeing to this offer, Ego let Vito serve him his famous dish, and to his surprise, he genuinely really liked the meal, given [[SupremeChef Vito's stellar cooking talent]]. Vito was squee-ing in joy from seeing Ego eat through his Bucatini meal, which made Ego want to leave immediately, though he couldn't dare leave an enjoyable meal like that unfinished. Ego left noting that he still doesn't like Vito for being a criminal, but he certainly acknowledges that his culinary talent is quite out there, but he only respects Vito's skills, not his actions.
* While he doesn't hate vampires in general, hearing people compare him to one due to his general appearance has grown irritating for him. It helps little that even his room is coffin-shaped, on top of having a taste of wine. At one point he stated that he would never willingly become one if he had a chance, and stated that he would be displeased to live like one, which has lowered the respect of plenty a vampire, including the nicer ones. Ego did begin to regret his words, but he hasn't apologized since he feels that any attempt would only look shallow. Similarly, he doesn't like Robot Chicken due to jokes about how his caustic personality as a critic is somehow due to influence by some evil cat. He does understand that it's just how the style of such comedies go, as much as he dislikes it.
* During a break from his usual business, he decided to venture outside his usual routes of travel to explore the Pantheon. Due to a [[NoodleIncident crazy battle between some good and evil wind and earth deities]] that he was caught up in, Ego found himself knocked unconscious and woken up by a child named Frisk, who decided to bring him to Toriel's temple nearby for shelter. While recovering from his misfortune, Toriel baked him a pie during his stay to welcome the odd visitor. While initially unsure of trying a cuisine from a monster, he decided to be nice and try a slice. Despite being unsure of what the pie was, he trusted Toriel's kind demeanor and took a bite, and found himself enjoying the whole slice in its entirety. Praising Toriel for a memorable meal, he politely asked her what the dish was in the first place. Her answer: [[UsefulNotes/SnailsAndSoOn Snail Pie]]. There weren't enough ingredients for the usual Butterscotch Pie she makes for visitors when Ego arrived. While surprised, Ego didn't have any gag reaction or anxious concern from the answer, and left Toriel's temple after recovery a happy man.
* Terence Fletcher thought that Ego had been growing soft ever since his ascension, preferring his old personality of viciously negative reviews and his reputation for ending bad restaurants much more than the current Ego in the Pantheon. Ego despises Fletcher as well, believing his abusive teaching methods are far too harsh and cruel even compared to the worst that Ego has done as a critic. Ego has harshly noted Fletcher that he's more than willing to state the harsh truth to those who refuse to believe it, especially Fletcher himself, and that while he may be passionate about music as much as Ego is passionate of food, Fletcher's actions are even more harmful to aspiring musicians as Ego's past actions as a critic could have ever been. Fletcher noted to Ego that just like him, his actions led someone to [[DeathByDespair die from the sheer despair]] like how one of his former students committed suicide, but Ego retorted that [[ShutUpHannibal at least he didn't actively exploit Gusteau's death]].

* Picture this: You're off walking in a forest like that of the House of Pantheon/{{Plants}} for example. You're probably just walking along, minding your own business, trying to get to the middle of the place which is said to house a breathtaking sight for a few days now. It's going to be a long walk considering the size of it all and have asked directions from those passing by so you don't end up in the deepwoods by accident and thus not meet any of the less-than-good deities residing there. So far, your day is going pretty great. At least until this massive bipedal creature of muscle comes crashing through the flora, a large chunk of meat in its toothy jaws. You soon book it and are luckily saved by other travelers. It gets fended off but you soon learn that it, for some reason, got deified. As you may of guessed, that's how the Deviljho's ascension went down.
* Deviljho was kicked out of the Pantheon at one point, due of how incredibly annoying it was. However, it came back... as a ''[[FromBadToWorse Savage Deviljho]]'', which took even more resources to take down and it was agreed that keeping a strict eye on Deviljho was better alternative than let it loose. There's already the Alliance Wars and other ne'er-do-wells running around freely as it is, the denizens don't need more trouble. Even if Deviljho is strictly locked away in a highly secured area, it still manages to break free and roam around for food, requiring really specialized teams to either take it down or capture it. Rinse and repeat. Nowadays, Houses just try to drive it off into the House of Pantheon/{{Nature}} or try to goad it in fighting some less-than-heroic deity or another predator like it.
** It's recommended that when combating the theropod that you at least bring in someone capable of utilizing [[InsistentTerminology thunder]]/electricity as its weak to that. And because its so hungry, it's best to also bring meat laced with something since it won't waste time in trying to eat it. It holds a special enmity to those who actually do.
*** And speaking of hunger, one day the Wither and Deviljho got into the same area at the same time, and the two forces were locked into a battle. Turned out that The Wither won because [[AchillesHeel it kept on destroying any living creature around the area, preventing Deviljho from eating anything, causing it to become too exhausted to fight back]]. The Violent Wyvern holds a grudge against the thing, leading to some hoping for a rematch.
* To say that Deviljho isn't a pretty terrifying monster is a big fat lie. Deviljho's body consumes so much energy, producing so much heat, it is constantly hungry, and will eat anything made out of flesh. [[OhCrap Humans, animals]], [[SetAMookToKillAMook monsters]], [[IAmAHumanitarian other Deviljhos]], ''[[{{Autocannibalism}} even their own tail]]'' if it gets chopped off. It'll even eat monsters alive if it's short on time, conscious or not. Given the chance, they'll hunt an entire species to extinction. Once, it made its way into the House of Pantheon/{{Slaughter}} where it proceeded to devour everything it could find. The attempts to take it down took a lot longer thanks to the many ways it could regain its stamina. It has since been banned from stepping foot within 50ft from any entrances.
** Sauron, ([[Pantheon/TyrannicalFigures not that one]]), pities the theropods hunger having contracted [[HorrorHunger his own]] which was only mitigated by the fact that the Court of Gods feed him one of the more viler criminals. Though he cannot meet it in person since Jho would attempt to devour him too, he did try and petition the Court of Gods to do the same. Others have spitballed ideas of using Deviljho as a way to punish evil gods too, but the chaotic nature of Deviljho ultimately make it far too unpredictable and uncontrollable for this purpose. Some more insaner folks at the House of Pantheon/{{Science}} thought of mechanizing it. It hasn't gone anywhere, it ate those who tried. They remain to be a consistent food source.
* As you may of guessed from its other relationships with creatures like it, Deviljho doesn't have great relationships with other dinosaur deities either. Rexie finds the Brute Wyvern too destructive for its own good, even if its hot blood is a very valid reason for its hunger, and has opposed it on numerous occasions. The Land Before Time gang don't like it either, having dealt with Sharptooth enough and find it ''an even worse version'' and are quick to take off when it's near. Not that they're wrong to do so.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFoABWYv0rE Becky left him for that hoe, Ben.]]
* [[VideoGame/MonsterHunterWorld It has suddenly popped up in many areas in the New World]], still competing with other monsters as strong as itself and turning those who aren't into its food, chew toy, or weapon it uses against others be it other food or enemy. Some wonder why it didn't pop up sooner considering it's effect on the ecosystem, though some suggest it traveled by doing [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ty0aKCrzYII this]]. Godzilla approves.
* Its Savage variant wasn't the only one who made it into the Pantheon. Indeed, there's also the Four Heavenly Kings Deviljho, a Deviljho signified by its shorter jaw and incredibly strong affinity for fire. By which we mean, many of its attacks are fire based (special mention to its stomp which creates large explosions) and its own aura is scorching. Buffed up counterparts like the [[AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever "World Eater" Deviljho]], Hyper Deviljho, and Tempered Deviljho can also be sighted.
* Despite its great hunger and aggressivity, even the mighty Deviljho can know fear. Multiple specimens were reported in a rampage throughout the Pantheon, not caused by hunger or aggression from a territorial dispute but rather due to the Brute Wyverns running away from the White God, Ukanlos, when it approached their temple in search for food. Similarly, Deviljho will be wary of its world's most powerful and dreaded monster: Fatalis, only the absolute strongest Deviljhos would dare to try and fight the Elder Dragon, but never successfully and always end up dead at the end. One might say they prefer a hero's death than a coward's end.

Jotaro didn't really care about it, at least until the conversation switched to the possibility of the thing being pierced by the Stand Arrow. 243* Amongst the stars in space, there is a special world of miracles known as Planet Popstar. On the Planet is the Kingdom of Dreamland, a place of peace and quiet, if you like that sort of thing. One day, the greedy King Dedede stole all of the food in his own Kingdom and kept it to himself, leaving the residents in despair. Luckily, they had a hero: Kirby. Kirby began sucking Dedede's forces into their mouth and alternatively [[SwallowedWhole ate them]] or spat them out as star shaped projectiles, swiftly defeating Dedede himself and returning the food he stole. But this was ''far'' from the end. Popstar would soon be besieged by [[VileVillainSaccharineShow countless monstrosities seeking either conquest or oblivion]]. But Kirby held strong, inhaling and copying the abilities of lesser enemies and striking down the aberrations that threatened their home. Dedede would go from a greedy foe to a reliable ally, and would join a collage of other heroes alongside Kirby, but Kirby would always be the star of the show, fighting evil with their [[ShowyInvincibleHero infinite power]] [[ExtremeOmnivore and endless appetite]]. They also picked up an odd proclivity for [[AmericanKirbyIsHardcore looking more aggressive in certain depictions of their games]], but still maintained their unfailingly noble nature.
* Kirby's arrival in the Pantheon was about as abrupt as his apparent arrival on Planet Popstar. One day Kirby just appeared on his Warp Star. As it turned out, Majin Buu in his Super Buu form had paid a visit to Kirby's home of Planet Popstar, wanting to get some destruction done out of boredom. [[AlwaysABiggerFish Buu would soon learn that he picked the wrong planet]] to try to blow up, [[CurbStompBattle as he was thrashed by Popstar's guardian]]. Unwilling to continue a fight he was losing so badly, Buu tried to flee back to the safety of his Temple within the Pantheon. What he didn't expect was for the transdimensional nature of Kirby's Warp Star to allow the Super Tough Pink Puff to follow him, wherein Kirby resumed his pummeling of Buu before inhaling him. As Kirby went to head back, he was instead confronted by the Court of the Gods. Thinking he was under attack, he defended himself by alternately punching out, and swallowing deities until the Court managed to placate him by offering him a cake. Afterwards, Kirby was allowed to stay as the god of [[BlackHoleBelly stomach voids]] and [[AmericanKirbyIsHardcore more serious cover artwork]].
* At first, Kirby was pretty lonely after ascending, due to none of their friends being with them. However, they were thrilled when [[Pantheon/{{Kirby}} this began to change]]. Thanks to King Dedede's reformation into one of Kirby's best friends, the two were quite happy to see each other again, with both partaking in events like [[VideoGame/KirbySuperStar Gourmet Races]], though they also [[FriendlyRivalry spar a bit]]. The Masked Swordsman Meta Knight was also happy to see that Kirby had beaten him into the Pantheon, at least [[TheStoic as happy as he could be]]. Meta Knight has at times [[VideoGame/KirbyAndTheAmazingMirror loaned his sword Galaxia to Kirby]], though like Dedede, they also spar frequently. A few deities were surprised to see that one of Kirby's closest friends was Bandana Waddle Dee. The two have had tons of adventures together, with Bandana Dee indicating that he went with Kirby to [[VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards save Ripple Star from Dark Matter]]. In more [[VideoGame/KirbyAndTheForgottenLand recent times]] Kirby has also been protective of the Waddle Dees as a whole, though Kirby usually fights against them.
** [[VideoGame/KirbysDreamland3 When Dark Matter first returned]], Kirby fought them with the Animal Friends, and a new friend: the former Dark Matter, Gooey. Much like Kirby, Gooey can copy the abilities of others, and loves to eat and sleep. When Gooey showed up in the Pantheon, there was a happy reunion with the other heroes who fought Dark Matter. [[VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards During Kirby's final battle with Dark Matter]], he befriended a [[TokenHuman Human girl]], and painter named Adeleine who helped him gather up the Crystal Shards after she was freed from Dark Matter to stop the Horde for good. He happily welcomed her when she ascended and they can be found painting together with the Animal Friends.
** Kirby has a talent for [[HeelFaceTurn redeeming their enemies]], even outside of Dedede. [[VideoGame/KirbysReturnToDreamland While Magolor betrayed Kirby to obtain the Master Crown]], Kirby forgave him when he returned and tried to make amends by building things like [[AmusementPark Merry Magoland]], aided by Magolor's sentient ship, the Lor Starcutter, being willing to forgive him too. [[VideoGame/KirbyPlanetRobobot When the Haltmann Works Company invaded Popstar]], Kirby and Susie met as sworn enemies. This changed when Star Dream went rogue and attempted to purge all life in existence, as Susie gave Kirby the Robobot Armor they used against Star Dream. After her reformation, Susie began advertising the benevolent revival of the HWC, which [[{{Mascot}} Kirby]] happily participates in, even if they don't get her marketing tactics. [[VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies When Kirby fought the Jambandran Religion]], Magolor, and Susie pitched in to help. Ironically, the Jambandran Generals would themselves get redeemed by Kirby in Another Dimension after they freed their hearts with 120 Friend Hearts. The Mages can now be found rocking out with Kirby in their free time.
** Kirby sometimes gets [[FairyCompanion fairy like friends]] on their adventures, such as their [[ImpliedLoveInterest strongly implied crush]], Ribbon the Fairy of Ripple Star. While Ribbon hasn't ascended yet, they are hopeful that she will some day, especially since a similar friend, Elfilin, has ascended. Kirby and Elfilin were already close friends thanks to [[VideoGame/KirbyAndTheForgottenLand their adventures in the New World]], but they bonded further when Elfilin learned of Kirby's connection to Void Termina, and how it's similar to Elfilin's connection to his other part, Fecto Forgo. As it turns out, the Kirby in the Pantheon isn't the only Kirby out there. [[Anime/KirbyRightBackAtYa In another universe]], Kirby landed on Popstar in a spaceship and befriended the people of Cappy Town while combating the forces of the Holy Nightmare Corp. The warrior Silica is familiar with that version of Kirby, and was shocked when Kirby greeted her while being able to speak in complete sentences, as her Kirby could only say "Poyo". Still, Silica was happy to team up with Kirby against things like Dark Matter once more.
* Throughout all of Kirby's adventures, there has only been one malevolent force that Kirby has vanquished in multiple adventures, only for it to continue coming back even more powerful. The Dark Matter Horde. When Kirby [[VideoGame/KirbysDreamland2 first fought Dark Matter]], it was a single being attacking the Rainbow Islands. [[VideoGame/KirbysDreamland3 When the two next clashed]], Kirby got a taste of the universe consuming true scope of the Horde when it easily conquered all of Popstar in seconds. Using the combined gratitude of the people of Popstar, Kirby felled the [[HiveQueen "leader"]] of Dark Matter, Zero. All was quiet, [[VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards until Ribbon landed with the fragments of the Crystal of Ripple Star scattered throughout the universe]]. Kirby, Ribbon, Adeleine, Bandana Dee, and Dedede would finally end the Horde once and for all in Dark Star, with Kirby and Ribbon jointly slaying the reborn Zero, 02. When Kirby learned that the Horde had ascended, they scrambled to get the Love Love Stick assembled to stop them as they began possessing deities left and right. Kirby drove the Horde back again, but they know that Dark Matter will keep coming until it wins, or is destroyed, and has taken steps to ensure the former never happens.
** In Silica's home universe, Kirby's biggest foe is instead Nightmare, and his Holy Nightmare Corp, [[SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute who had a very similar role to Dark Matter]]. The Kirby within the Pantheon was surprised to learn that [[MonsterOfTheWeek Nightmare]] became such a major threat in the other universe, and he [[CurbStompBattle made Nightmare understand that he wasn't interested in his shenanigans]]. While hardly the biggest threats Kirby has faced, Whispy Woods and Kracko have proven themselves to be among the most stubborn, as no matter how many times Kirby beats them up [[{{Determinator}} they keep coming back for more]]. As Kirby went on more and more adventures, he also found himself meeting a trio of beings like Meta Knight, but lacking his heroism. These deities were Dark Meta Knight, Galacta Knight, and Morpho Knight. The Star Warrior has made sure to thoroughly pacify the dangerous knights whenever they fought, [[CuttingOffTheBranches even if not all of these fights have been officially verified]].
** Kirby has a knack for drawing in dangerous villains. [[VideoGame/KirbySuperStar Marx tricked Kirby into getting him access to the wish granting entity NOVA]] so he could take over Popstar. [[VideoGame/KirbyCanvasCurse Drawcia turned Popstar into a painting and cursed Kirby]] so that they lost all of their limbs. [[VideoGame/KirbyTripleDeluxe Queen Sectonia's cruelty made the People of the Sky use the Dreamstalk to summon Kirby to stop her]], and she merged with it in response. [[VideoGame/KirbyPlanetRobobot Star Dream oversaw the Haltmann Works Company taking over Popstar]], and later set out to kill all life in the multiverse, Kirby's Robobot Halberd Mode in hot pursuit. [[VideoGame/KirbyAndTheForgottenLand Fecto Forgo pulled Kirby into the New World as it hunted for its other half, Elfilin]], and eventually regained its status as the Ultimate Life-Form, Fecto Elfilis. Though they're all ''very'' strong, ''especially'' the godlike Flowered Sectonia, Fecto Elfilis, and [[TheOmnipotent Star Dream]], none of them could stop [[WorldsStrongestMan Kirby from saving everything over and over]]. All of them see Kirby as their most dangerous foe, and while Kirby returns the sentiment, [[ButForMeItWasTuesday they hold them in equal contempt]] except for ''maybe'' [[ItsPersonal Fecto Forgo]].
* The villain that upset Kirby the most with his ascension was Void Termina. Void Termina is far and away the strongest and most dangerous being Kirby has ever fought, and is strongly implied to be the progenitor of every single one of Kirby's other mightiest villains, including '''Dark Matter''', and is even implied to be the origin of '''''[[AmbiguouslyRelated Kirby themself]]'''''. While normally very chipper and happy, Kirby is extremely uncomfortable and sensitive about his possible creator, to the point that [[EnemyMine Kirby is willing to work with Marx and Dark Meta Knight]] to stop Void. However, in more recent times, something rather curious has taken place. It was discovered that Void Termina is but a mere echo of a greater being: the omniversal origin of all possibilities, Astral Birth Void. [[CuttingOffTheBranches While they haven't been]] [[AmbiguousSituation officially verified]], several deities have reported that after Kirby defeated Astral Birth Void, [[DefeatEqualsFriendship the God could be seen enjoying snacks and naps with their nemesis]]. Many deities that dread Void Termina are praying for these rumors to be true, however the official stance is that Kirby is sworn enemies with him. Should the Destroyer of Worlds go on a rampage again, the Star Warrior is fully prepared to charge after the Beast with the Star Allies Sparkler, three other allies, and the Friend Hearts primed for putting a stop to him.
* When Kirby inhales someone, they acquire a Copy Ability that mimes the powers that person has, and adds further abilities based upon said power, along with a corresponding hat. If they swallowed [[Pantheon/WitchesAndWizards Zatanna]], Kirby would become Magic Kirby, complete with top hat. If they swallowed [[Pantheon/AntiVillains Zaheer]], they would become Tornado Kirby, and so on. Link was intrigued when he heard of Sword Kirby having a near identical hat to his own, and Kirby has been happy to spar with him. In [[VideoGame/KirbyPlanetRobobot more recent]] times, Kirby has been seen with the [[PsychicPowers ESP]] [[ShoutOut Ability]]. Like Link, Ness was intrigued, and as with Link, Kirby was happy to compare their PSI to that of Ness, and his teammates. Afterwards, the Chosen Four started hanging out with Kirby, even outside of Smash.
* If there is one thing Kirby is known for more than anything else it's that they [[{{Understatement}} love to eat]]. They have [[VideoGame/KirbySqueakSquad gone on a quest to save a slice of cake]]. They have a bottomless void of a stomach [[PocketDimension in the most literal way possible]]. With a Miracle Fruit, they become a black hole able to inhale reality itself, including things ''[[BreakingTheFourthWall beyond the Fourth Wall]]''. This soon drew the rivalry of others with an appetite such as Gluttony, and Patrick Star, with both partaking in Gourmet Races to see who can eat more. Kirby likes Patrick more due to him having more morals than the Homunculus, on top of them both being pink omnivores. Obelix and Chowder are also fellow [[BigEater gourmets]] who struck up a friendship with Kirby after an eating competition. Their combined appetites can clear out dozens of dinner courses in seconds, as one buffet in the House of Pantheon/{{Food}} had to temporarily ban them from their premises when they ate everything on the tables, leaving the other patrons with nothing. This was especially embarrassing for Kirby, [[{{Irony}} as he is one of the House's guardians]]. Conversely, Kirby loathes Louie, whose crimes of stealing the food of others ([[TooDumbToLive including Kirby's]]) remind Kirby of Dedede's meaner past.
** Of course, while Kirby's appetite is endless, they do have standards. Abominations such as Ungoliant, and Darth Nihilus earned their disgust for desiring to devour all of existence, and everyone in it. The Star Warrior has vowed to destroy them to stop the threats they pose, and has some extra resentment for them specifically, due to both sharing a [[PowerOfTheVoid nature]] with Kirby. Similarly, Kirby despises the Anti-Monitor, and the Devourer for their [[CompleteMonster atrocious crimes]] revolving around their devouring of entire universes. Both the Anti-Monitor, and the Devourer return the sentiment, as Kirby [[WindsOfDestinyChange miraculously]] proved to be [[NoSell immune to their attempts to erase them from existence]], and the two eventually retreated after a long and bloody fight.
** Though they will eat almost anyone, Kirby doesn't actually [[GettingEatenIsHarmless hurt their meals]], as they eventually just reappear elsewhere. In fact, Kirby loathes deities who eat other people with malicious intent. They proved this by hunting down [[ChildEater Pennywise]] and punting him into orbit. Monstro is also disliked by Kirby, as he once tried to eat Kine, and Susie. Kirby answered by [[HoistByHisOwnPetard inhaling Monstro with Hypernova]], which the whale took ''very'' personally. When Dawn Bellwhether heard of Kirby she denounced them as the embodiment of the worst traits of predators, even after Kirby protected Zootopia from Fecto Forgo, something that ''deeply'' hurt their feelings. [[KickTheDog She merely voiced that they deserve to feel awful for their omnivorous ways]].
** During one clash with Darth Nihilus, Kirby was surprised when the Sith Lord abruptly fled. They turned, and gazed into the maw of Galactus. [[OhCrap Kirby swiftly retreated on their Warp Star]], and saw Galactus consume the place they had departed. When they confronted him, and learned of his plight, they still disliked him for his lack of care for the lives he ends. They loathe Unicron even more, he choses to consume worlds out of cruelty. When Unicron went to consume Popstar, Kirby intercepted him. As it turns out, Kirby is strong enough to [[VideoGame/KirbySuperStar break a planet in half with one punch]], which they demonstrated on Unicron. The result [[EarthShatteringKaboom wasn't pretty]], and Unicron did not take kindly to the offense, vowing to return and destroy them.
* Recently, Kirby has started to pick up odd new skills. When they helped Magolor rebuild the Lor, they got access to Super Abilities: five Copy Abilities put on steroids. The planet cleaving Ultra Sword seems to be [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate Kirby's favorite]]. When they were in Floralia, they got Hypernova, which did the same thing for their inhale. When the HWC invaded, they got the Robobot Armor, a mech that can also [[TransformingMecha copy]] [[PowerCopying things]] including ''Battleship Halberd''. When the Jambandrans attacked, they were imbued with Friend Hearts, which allow them to make a friend out of anyone and team up for [[CombinationAttack Friend Abilities]]. When they landed in the New World, [[DinnerDeformation they became able to take the shape of objects they cannot fully swallow]] like a car, and control it. The last one reminded Mario of his own recent adventures, and the two have begun comparing their many abilities, and their [[BigEater love of food]].
* As Kirby went to drill through Star Dream, [[PhysicalGod the almighty NOVA]] deemed Kirby to have '''''infinite power'''''. Countless deities were stunned by this news, with many looking at their other feats, and finding Star Dream's analysis to be ''[[NotHyperbole correct]]''. When Zamasu heard of the gumdrop born from the primordial Essence of Chaos, with the power to surpass even the strongest of Gods, including his ally Galeem, he was '''livid'''. Luckily, Android 21 warned Kirby of Zamasu's intent to kill them, and the Hero of Dreamland met him with the mighty Hammer ability, beating him to a pulp. When Goku heard of Kirby [[CurbStompBattle demolishing Zamasu]], he immediately asked to spar with the Star Warrior, and was thrilled with how strong they were. Kirby liked the Sayian's appreciation of food, and Goku can now be seen enjoying Gourmet Races, and sparring matches with Kirby.
** Kirby's ''obscene'' full strength has attracted many a ChallengeSeeker. When Undyne heard of how strong the Star Warrior was, she immediately challenged them to a duel. Even with her Determination she obviously lost, however she vowed to someday surpass Kirby, and they encourage her to get stronger to be able to save more people. The Pink Puff has a much colder relationship with Jiren. They were not pleased with Jiren's belief that Friendship is a weakness, especially as one of Kirby's most powerful weapons is the Star Allies Sparkler, which is formed from the strength of such bonds, among many other Friend Abilities. They made sure to demonstrate their distaste by beating Jiren with only Friend Abilities, and after they did so, Jiren dismissed his defeat as the result of Kirby "cheating".
** After the Star Warrior's capacity for slaying divinity, including ''[[TheMaker the creator of their reality]]'' became common knowledge, many other Creator Gods were enraged. YHVH, Perpetua, and Chakravartin all denounced the Star Warrior, and tried to kill them. They all failed. Kirby beat them both with their own power, determination, the Star Allies Sparkler, and their other most powerful weapon: Morpho Knight Sword, the ability that grants Kirby the powers of their reality's GrimReaper, along with their friends. When Team Dai-Gurren heard of Kirby's skill at beating up entities of similar, if not greater strength than their nemesis Anti-Spiral, they were happy to befriend them, especially when they learned of Kirby's very own Gurren in the Robobot Armor, complete with transformation, [[CombiningMecha fusion]], and [[ThisIsADrill a drill]] they used to take out Star Dream.
* As Kirby's boundless strength, and litany of abilities meant to clobber beings of pure darkness, such as the Star Rod, and the weapons he used to combat Dark Matter, became well known, many bad guys became ''very'' nervous. Melkor is utterly terrified of Kirby above almost all others, even if Kirby isn't the most proactive of heroes, as Kirby is ''much'' stronger than him, and has weapons that burn him to cinders. He has been desperately searching for a villain capable of defeating Kirby, and has found no one up to the task. Janemba, the Shadow Queen, and King Sombra all share this sentiment, as those same weapons can all [[AchillesHeel destroy them easily]], and even force them out of the people they have possessed in the former two.
** There are a plethora of other horrifying entities within the Pantheon that Kirby can be called on to fight. Aku sees Kirby as being just as dangerous as his nemesis Jack, due to Kirby having plenty of blades that are just as lethal to him as Jack's is, like the Rainbow Sword, and Galaxia, on top of their other abilities. When Kirby learned of Gigyas and their situation, the Star Warrior felt a great deal of sympathy for him, having been familiarized with the [[EmptyShell "Soul" Bosses]] in recent times, and vowed to use the Love Love Stick, or a Friend Star to exploit Gigyas' weakness to prayers and positive energy [[MercyKill to put him out of his misery]].
** Kirby's war with beings like Dark Matter, and kinship with Team Dai-Gurren drew the hate of the Anti-Spiral. Anti-Spiral wasn't happy to learn that Kirby can use Spiral Energy, with or without the Robobot Armor, and can also use things like the Crystal Gun to supply other positive energies to slay them. When the Puella Magi met Kirby, they requested his help in stopping strong Witches. To their shock, Kirby is able to use Friend Hearts to ''genuinely'' purify their Soul Gems, not just hold back the corruption. Kirby was happy to grant the Magi access to the Friend Hearts so they could save the corrupted Magical Girls.
* Even though the full ceiling of his actual strength keeps going up, Kirby would much rather just enjoy sleeping, eating, and playing versus slaying reality eating monsters. His simple desires led to him forming a bond with Jigglypuff, another pink balloon who would rather not fight if it can be avoided, and he appreciates how her singing is a good sleep aid. The young Witch Ashley can also relate to this, as much like Kirby [[AmericanKirbyIsHardcore she tends to be portrayed as more aggro in certain depictions of her games]]. When the Dazzlings learned of Kirby's power but reluctance to fight, they decided to try hypnotizing him with a song. [[NoSell This didn't end well]], as Kirby liked the music, and decided to try and sing with them as [[OneHitKill Mike Kirby]]...
* As heroes with a reputation for [[EarthShatteringKaboom causing enormous]] [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu amounts of damage]] protecting the stars, few were surprised that Kirby and Samus got along. What ''was'' a surprise to many was that Samus and Kirby knew each other long before they ascended, or even the first Smash Tournament. While the Dark Matter Horde was invading Popstar for the second time, Samus landed on the planet, hunting for Metroids. Kirby actually slew them all for her, and her gratitude over the effort helped Kirby to create the Love Love Stick to stop Zero. Samus has been happy to help Kirby fight other evil aliens such as Fecto Forgo as a result. Kirby is also familiar with Master Hand and Crazy Hand from [[VideoGame/KirbyAndTheAmazingMirror the Mirror World]]. While they at first fought them as bosses, Kirby became an ally of them due to both playing a critical role in stopping Tabuu, and later being the only survior of Galeem's assault, going on to stop both it, and Dharkon with only their base abilities, both entities deeming Kirby their most dangerous foe. [[ButForMeItWasTuesday For Kirby, it was just another day at the office]], though they were still happy to befriend the Hands, even getting their Smash Bros. moveset from inhaling Master Hand.
* If there is one deity that H.P. Lovecraft considers anathema to his works, it's Kirby. Lovecraft was befuddled by how Kirby had killed similar beings to the ones he chronicled, and the Star Warrior fueled this further when Nyarlathotep's minions attacked Dreamland, thinking that Kirby's stories of fighting eldritch beings was exaggerated hearsay. Kirby didn't take this well, and went in to clean house. [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu Boy did he do so]], as Kirby fought his way through the Outer God and his cronies, who was flummoxed by how [[WhyWontYouDie implacable]] the puffball could be, even against an avatar of the Crawling Chaos. Nylarlathotep's humiliating defeat reached the ears of the other Outer Gods and Great Old Ones, who now have decided to leave the puffball and his friends alone for the knowledge of a being that can meaningfully fight back against them is extremely unwelcome.
** When Nyarlathotep made his ill-fated attempt at attacking Popstar, Y'golonac accompanied him and ended up getting singled out during Kirby's onslaught. Like Kirby, the Defiler devours people, but like Dark Matter, he possesses others, and drives people to [[SerialKiller commit]] [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil atrocities]]. The Star Warrior made his opinion clear when he [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown annihilated him down to his soul]]. Y'golonac only survived thanks to his boss, and now cowers in fear at the mention of Kirby. Kirby also stands opposed to Azathoth, and his "friend" GOLB, due to seeing far too much of Void Termina in both for his liking. Sage, and Lord Vyce both saw Kirby's battle with the Great Old Ones, and were impressed. While Kirby hates Vyce's cruel authoritarianism, he likes Sage, who he sees as a great ally against Dark Matter and its ilk, even if she sees him as a [[FriendlyEnemy friendly foe]].
** Due to Kirby's victories over Nyarlathotep and his goons, the ''other'' much weaker Crawling Chaos, Nyarko, practically wet herself due to assuming that she would be next on the chopping block. Her friend Hasta shares her opinion, as he personally saw Kirby defeat Hastur, and swiftly joined Nyarko as she trembled behind her ally, [[Pantheon/LoveOther Rias Gremory]], much to the latter's confusion. In response to this, Mahiro Yasaka, and Cuuko declared all out war on the Star Warrior. Cuuko was focused on protecting her beloved Nyarko from Kirby, and while Mahiro shared that motivation, he was also motivated [[BerserkButton by the contempt Kirby had for the Cthulhu Mythos and its gods]], furthered by Lovecraft himself spitting upon the Puffball. Kirby is just mystified by their hostility, due to having no ill will towards Nyarko, and would much rather befriend them.
* While Kirby's capacity for taking down absurdly powerful foes is well earned, they are ultimately still a kid. They have an energetic HappyDance after clearing a stage. They love sleep so much they have an entire Copy Ability centered around it. They can be easily manipulated, and their only focus is to enjoy life. They also aren't infallible, as Drawcia, [[VideoGame/KirbysEpicYarn Yin Yarn]], [[VideoGame/KirbyMassAttack Necrodeus]], and Sectonia have all managed to get the better of Kirby, even coming close to ending them in the latter two cases. They can even be KO'd by a [[TheGoomba Waddle Dee]] if careless. And yet, fate always seems to be on their side, and it was [[WindsOfDestinyChange more than just luck]]. Kirby was recently found to wield the "power of miracles" which they used to shatter the soul of Chaos Elfilis [[StrongAsTheyNeedToBe among other things]]. Sanae Kochiya was immediately interested, and ended up befriending Kirby due to their enjoyment of casual life over fighting horrors. By contrast, Bernkastel loathes Kirby due to their potential far exceeding her own, [[EvilIsPetty and she has been going out of her way to sic powerful deities on them to make Kirby's life miserable]].
** Due to greatly preferring the peaceful life a kid should normally get to have, Kirby started seeking out similar deities. It was through this that they met Dipper and Mabel Pines. Kirby stumbled upon Mabel attempting to brighten up the Pantheon, and decided to help out, the two bonding over their love of highly saccharine things, Dipper liking how happy Kirby made his sister. Through the Pines twins, the Star Warrior grew very close with Anne Boonchuy, Sasha Waybright, Marcy Wu, Luz Noceda, and Amity Blight. The Calamity girls like Kirby for their sunny attitude, and can [[BreakTheCutie relate to adventures not being all their cracked up to be]], and have been happy to show Kirby around Wartwood. Luz and Amity were both reminded of the House Demon Hooty when they saw Kirby's hunger, and simple minded kindness, as well as King for their divine lineage while also knowing how [[TraumaCongaLine quests can take a toll on kids like them]].
** Kirby's friendship with the Pines, Calamity Girls, and Lumity led to the Star Warrior happily visiting Gravity Falls, Amphibia, and the Boiling Isles to enjoy having fun with them. During one such trip to the Boiling Isles, they bumped into the Collector, and Erma Williams peaking at the local fauna. Kirby made even faster friends with both of them due to all three being [[AdorableAbomination incredibly overpowered]] kids who nonetheless much prefer playtime, and fun to slaying villains. Kirby also sympathizes with the Collector's [[DarkAndTroubledPast uncomfortable relationship with the Archivists]], and Erma's plight as a potential [[ApocalypseMaiden bringer of doom]]. The three have vowed to look out for each other no matter what. The Star Warrior's war with Dark Matter, also attracted the attention of the youths in the ranks of the Sailor Guardians. The Senshi have been happy to work with Kirby against his enemies, Moon even allowing herself to be eaten so Kirby can mix their powers.
* While Kirby is best known for their hunger, and power, they do have more mundane talents. They have a knack for tech, even being able to hijack an Invader Armor, and turn it into the Robobot. They are a [[CaptainCrash semi-competent]] pilot. Most of all, Kirby is a good chef, befitting their gluttony. They can bake delicious [[TrademarkFavoriteFood Strawberry Shortcake]]. They even have a Copy Ability based on their cooking skills. Kirby's fellow guardian of the House of Food, Gordon Ramsay, was impressed with their cooking, and is happy to have Kirby as a sous-chef. When Palutena heard of their skills, she asked for them to tutor her so she doesn't have another [[NoodleIncident "revolting dinner"]] incident, which Kirby is happy to do. Mr. Krabs, and Plankton were both also impressed, and tried to bribe Kirby to be a chef for them with food. Kirby was able to stomach [[LethalChef Plankton's chum]], but wasn't happy about it. When Plankton heard of Kirby's food based grudges and obscene power, he let out a scream that was rivaled only by his scream at the sight of [[Pantheon/DivineBehavior Beerus]], especially as Kirby is ''stronger'' than the Destroyer. Kirby also dislikes Mr. Krabs as his history of greed, and unsafe cooking practices made them very upset.
* When Majin Buu rematerialized after being inhaled, he was ''furious'', and immediately went to attack Kirby again as Kid Buu. Kirby crushed Buu once more, and vowed to keep doing so as long as Buu attempted to hurt them, or others, with both pink warriors frequently clashing throughout the Pantheon. Due to Kirby's battles with Buu, he became fast friends with Android 21, and Fat Majin Buu. Both 21, and Fat Buu like Kirby for sharing their [[CannibalismSuperpower copying the powers of people they eat]], though Kirby's targets always simply rematerialize elsewhere, unharmed. 21 in particular is interested in this ability, wondering if she could develop it to keep her Hunger satiated without hurting people, while Fat Buu enjoys attending Gourmet Races alongside Kirby.
** After Kirby ascended, they began searching the Pantheon for places that reminded them of home before they landed in Ooo, and met Marceline. Marcie was curious when she saw Kirby swallowing some local monsters, and approached them, with both bonding over their similar powers, and dark ancestry. When Kirby attended the fourth Smash Tourney, they formally met Pac-Man, and Mega Man. [[{{Irony}} Pac-Man was one of the deities who was eaten by Kirby when they first ascended]], but he decided to resolve this rivalry by joining the Gourmet Races, and is trying to top Kirby's score. Mega Man was amazed by how Kirby is able to improve upon the powers of people he copies, where Mega Man can only take one attack from a Robot Master. He has been sticking with Kirby to learn if he could copy others like Kirby does.
** Still, Kirby doesn't always appreciate similar deities. While at first they liked Rimuru Tempest due to both being blobs who copy the people they consume, Kirby was soon appalled by the cavalier attitude Rimuru has towards eating souls, citing how they only destroy souls when [[MercyKill putting down a husk]] like Sectonia, or [[GodzillaThreshold felling a monster who won't stay dead]] like Forgo. Alex Mercer, and the Grey Goo are outright enemies of the puffball, both trying, and failing to eat Kirby. Mercer is especially hated as he once ate the Goo, before consuming several of Kirby's friends. The Star Warrior came down on him '' hard'', miraculously physically tearing him, and the Goo apart before vaporizing both with Flare Beam, saving their friends. Mercer has made consuming Kirby a top priority, with Kirby making sure to slay him if he gets out of control.
* While the Kingdom of Dreamland isn't a ''literal'' DreamLand, despite the name, Kirby has still beaten a variety of beings that seek to corrupt or utilize Dreams and Nightmares, such as Nightmare himself, as well as Fecto Forgo, Morpho Knight, and Astral Birth Void. As such, Ysera considers Kirby to be the ultimate Guardian of Dreams, and has offered to pay Kirby in countless snacks as thanks for the sheer amount of help they lend her in protecting the Dreams of the Pantheon. Kirby appreciates the sentiment, and happily accepts the sweets Ysera makes for them. Likewise, [=NiGHTS=] is happy to accept Kirby's help in battling the Nightmaren utilized by their foremost enemy Wizeman. Kirby returns the sentiment as they invite [=NiGHTS=] to participate in the occasional [[VideoGame/KirbyAirRide Warp Star race through the sky, or city trial]]. [=NiGHTS=] is also fascinated by Kirby's Copy Abilities, and has allowed himself to be inhaled to see the resultant ability.
** When the Daedric Prince Vaermina attempted to fuse her realm of Quagmire with the rest of the Pantheon, she thought she would have no direct opposition as her enemies were busy trying to stop her influence. [[SpannerInTheWorks Then Kirby jumped into the fray]]. As Ysera explained the situation, the Star Warrior had an inspired idea and dove into the heart of Quagmire, challenging Vaermina herself. The Daedra laughed at this, until Kirby cleaned her clock. Vaermina was forced to reroute her forces to fight Kirby and eventually [[KnowWhenToFoldEm warped Kirby out of Quagmire and withdrew when that failed]]. Hearing how Kirby had floored the Deadric Prince in her own realm deeply frightened her weaker allies Wizeman and Freddy Krueger, especially Freddy, as he had already earned Kirby's wrath by trying to accost Adeleine.
** Due to Kirby's partnership with Ysera, they quickly became hated enemies of the Old Gods, in particular N'Zoth, and Yogg-Saron. Kirby is more than happy to fight them for the Dragon Aspect, especially as Queen Sectonia has allied herself with the Old Ones to combine their insectoid forces against the Star Warrior. Bill Cipher was also intimidated by Kirby, and started peeking into their dreams to learn more about them. In doing so he learned of Kirby's Super Abilities, and how they tore holes in reality. Bill promptly attempted to commandeer one such hole, hoping to regain his physical form, and full power, and while he was successful in doing so, he was stunned that Kirby was ''still'' too much for him, especially with their Super Abilities, the battle ending with Fighter Kirby shattering Bill's body with a punch.
* While Kirby frequently slays beings of darkness, he has no ill will to people who utilize it for good. Gooey is a fragment of Dark Matter, and Kirby himself was likely spawned from [[PowerOfTheVoid Astral Birth Void]], so he is happy to meet [[DarkIsNotEvil others like him]]. After he aided in a battle between the Hollow Knight and Queen Sectonia, he visited [[DarkFantasy Hallownest]], and befriended many of its residents. The Knight was happy to stand with Kirby against the Queen, and the two have started going on quests to help people in need. On one such quest, Kirby met the Radiance. Due to her fierce rivalry with Sectonia, the Radiance decided to try and conquer Popstar to prove her superiority. Instead, she met the Star Warrior, who beat her into the next week. She vowed to obliterate Dreamland, and the Knight vowed to protect Popstar from her whenever Kirby is [[SleptThroughTheApocalypse too deep into a good nap]].
* A lesser known element of Kirby's creation is how it's actually tied in to the history of Nintendo itself. Nintendo was hit with a lawsuit by Universal Studios over their creation of Donkey Kong, and was in mortal danger of being sued into oblivion. But fortunately for Nintendo, their lawyer, John Kirby, successfully defended them from the lawsuit, and Kirby was named in part in his honor. As such, Kirby has a very high opinion of defense attorneys such as Phoenix Wright, and Jennifer Walters, even hoping to copy their skills himself.
* Also seen in the House of Pantheon/MediaPresentation.
