* ''[[VideoGame/AdvancedVariableGeo Advanced V.G.]]'': Manami is such [[TokenMiniMoe an extreme example]], that her age (16) is practically an InformedAttribute, because she physically [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPok64iH8pE looks, sounds, dresses]], ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M37fCAlGcEc and acts]]'' more like she's 10.
* ''VideoGame/AITheSomniumFiles'' features numerous cases, such as Boss, who looks like she is in her early thirties at the oldest but is actually in her forties, and Ota, who is well into his twenties but looks younger than the preadolescent Mizuki. ''VideoGame/AiTheSomniumFilesNirvanaInitiative'' compounds this with a six-year timeskip where only a handful of characters show visible signs of aging, [[spoiler:which helps to obfuscate the twist that [[SequencingDeception Ryuki's and Mizuki's routes intertwine]] instead of being strictly pre- and post-timeskip]]. One character in particular, [[spoiler: Shoma]], looks exactly the same despite the fact that they, of all of the unchanged characters, should ''definitely'' look older six years later. [[spoiler:This isn't just for hiding the aforementioned twist, as it is revealed [[TheAgeless to be the result of genetic modification]].]]
* "Cinder" Carla from ''VideoGame/ArmoredCoreVIFiresOfRubicon'' should be around 70 years old, as she was a research assistant for the Institute before the Fires of Ibis happened, which was half a century prior to the start of the story. She's older than Walter, who was a child at the time of that event and, in present-day, is an obviously older man with a crutch. 621 can find an in-game sketch where its artist can't believe how so incredibly well-preserved she is. The art is low-detail and monochrome, but shows an attractive woman who could be in her twenties or thirties and has white hair that could actually be grey, blonde, or some sort of pale dye.
* In ''VideoGame/{{ArnoSurge}}'', Cass looks like a child, but is actually older than 20. Same goes for Sarly, who looks even younger than Cass, but is actually older than her. It's explained that they stopped aging due to "Artificial Incarnation".
* Ezio Auditore is 48 by the end of ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedBrotherhood''. Although Cesare calls attention to it, calling him an "old fucker", he doesn't really look the part. ''[[VideoGame/AssassinsCreedRevelations Revelations]]'' fixed this by giving the now 52-year-old Assassin plenty of grey in his hair and noticeable wrinkles. [[OneManArmy Not that it's]] [[MadeOfIron slowed him down at all]].
* In ''VideoGame/AtelierEschaAndLogy'', Lucille Ernella looks like a young child and is your TokenMiniMoe of the game, but is actually 14 years old according to the anime. This BTW, is only a year younger than the Escha, one of the game's two main protagonists.
* In ''VideoGame/BaldursGateIII'', half-elf companion Shadowheart appears to be in her early twenties. It is offhandedly mentioned in her storyline that she’s actually in her mid-forties to early-fifties, [[ImmortalityBeginsAtTwenty her elven ancestry having slowed her aging]]. For her appearance in the ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' spinoff mobile game ''VideoGame/IdleChampionsOfTheForgottenRealms'', her age is officially listed as 48.
* An important plot twist in ''VideoGame/BetrayalAtKrondor''. An NPC you keep running into all over the map -- [[spoiler:Squire Philip]] -- looks no older than 20, while he really is close to 40. Prince Arutha appointed him a head of a secret force guarding the kingdom's most dangerous secret. Even Arutha's most trusted officers are surprised when they learn that.
* A justified example in ''VideoGame/{{Bioshock}}''. Andrew Ryan looks significantly younger than his bio would indicate (48/49; the game is set in 1960 and he was born in 1911). However, a major element of the game is gene tonics, which alter your genetics for various effects, and throughout the game you can see ads for an anti-aging gene tonic, implying that this is [[StraightEdgeEvil the one gene tonic Ryan allows himself]].
* Due to the setting of ''VideoGame/TheCaligulaEffect'', while all the characters appear to be high school age, quite a few are older. Some of them are more drastic than others; for instance, [[spoiler:Mifue]] is 17 instead of 16, but [[spoiler:Shogo and Kotono]] are adults (30 and 23 years old, respectively), and [[spoiler:Kensuke]] is 19 years old. [[VideoGame/TheCaligulaEffect2 The sequel]] even has a character that is ''86'' years old yet who looks the same age as everyone else.
* ''VideoGame/{{Celeste}}'' protagonist Madeline certainly looks and sounds like she might be just a kid, but there are multiple references throughout the game implying she's instead a young adult: she owns a car (and you can't have a driver license before 19 in UsefulNotes/{{Canada}}), she mentions having a job, her mother is depicted as a white-haired old woman, and at one point she even admits to having [[DrowningMySorrows a drinking problem]]. It should be noted that [[SdrawkcabSpeech her voice in the reversed]] "In the Mirror" track sounds much more like a young adult.
* In ''VideoGame/ChicoryAColorfulTale'', Pizza's much shorter and looks younger than their younger sister Clementine.
* Joe Kucan, the actor that played Kane in cutscenes for the ''VideoGame/CommandAndConquerTiberianSeries.'' In over the 15 years of the original storyline, he looks almost ''exactly the same'' as he did between 1995 (''VideoGame/CommandAndConquerTiberianDawn'') and 2010 (''VideoGame/CommandAndConquerTiberianTwilight'').
* Its revealed that Meu's appearance in ''VideoGame/CrossEdge'' is her younger self 20 years ago, since everyone in the story is [[spoiler: in soul form, not actual physical bodies]].
* ''VideoGame/{{Cuphead}}'' has the titular character and his brother Mugman, who look [[{{Moe}} so cute and adorable]], but don't let their size or their childish looks fool you: It's been [[https://twitter.com/EvanSkolnick/status/953431259161673728 confirmed by Evan Skolnick]] that both Cuphead and Mugman are adolescents, or teens, which is pretty likely that they've started their puberty by the time the game begins.[[note]]It's been said that the average age a boy begins his puberty is around 12 years old.[[/note]]
* ''VideoGame/CyberGrannies'': Despite being called "grannies," many of the titular Cyber Grannies don't look that old. They don't have any wrinkles, and some don't even have gray or white hair.
* In ''VideoGame/Cyberpunk2077'', several of the characters (most notably the Arasaka family) from the original ''TabletopGame/{{Cyberpunk}}'' tabletop RPG (set in 2020) are still around and look mostly middle-aged despite being over 50 years later. In their case, it's justified that being in relatively prestigious positions they're able to afford the cybernetics and treatments that extend their lifespans. Outside of the Arasaka family, there's Rogue, who's about 70-80, but outside of her [[SilverFox long, grey hair]] and some wrinkles, she could pass for 50. There's also [[TheRockstar Kerry Eurodyne]], who's in about the same age bracket as Rogue, but looks even younger (about mid-to-late thirties) and is a [[MayDecemberRomance romance option for male V, who is canonically 27]]. Other members of the band Samurai also look anywhere from thirty to fifty, despite also being 70-80.
* ''VideoGame/DeadOrAlive'' has Marie Rose, who's officially 18 but looks much younger because she has an ElegantGothicLolita aesthetic, GenkiGirl mannerisms, and a bustline that ''isn't'' [[BuxomBeautyStandard completely ridiculous]]. This is arguably part of why ''Dead or Alive Xtreme 3'' [[NoExportForYou isn't getting released in America by Koei Tecmo]].
** A much more minor example in ''VideoGame/DeadOrAlive6'' with the addition of [=NiCO=]. She's officially 18 years old, but looks closer to 16.
* ''VideoGame/DeathEndReQuest'' has Rin Asukaze who, at 32 years old, is the oldest character in the game with a confirmed age. At one point, she convincingly passes herself off as an ''elementary school student''. Even with her glasses and stern looks, Rin looks only slightly older than resident TokenMiniMoe party member Al...who herself is initially assumed to be 10 years old by the protagonists, but states that she is actually fifteen.
* ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry'':
** While Dante managed to [[YoungerThanTheyLook invert]] this trope [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry3DantesAwakening in the third game]], he fully plays it straight in the [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry4 fourth game]] as WordOfGod confirms he’s close to 40 years old but, much like his inspiration Leon Kennedy, apart from some PermaStubble he could easily pass for a man in his 20s. Averted in the [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry5 fifth game]] as Dante finally looks his age at 43 being more scraggly looking, with fans even joking that Dante is a crazy old geezer.
** V in ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry5'' looks like a young man around Nero's age but he acts and talks like he's someone much older. It's telling that he calls Nero "boy" and "child" many times. This is explained [[spoiler:and subverted as V is actually Vergil's SoulJar and ironically is much younger than Nero being only a month and 2 days old]].
** [[spoiler: Speaking of Vergil, despite him being the same age as Dante [[EvilTwin as his twin]] (though technically he popped out of Eva first), by the time of ''[=DMC5=]'', he looks comparatively a good deal younger than Dante. This probably justified due to his composite selves (V and Urizen) combining to restore his body that was ruined after ''[=DMC3=]'' thanks to Mundus torturing him.]]
** Lady is stated to be only a year younger than Dante and Vergil. At 42, she looks like she's only in her late 20s, maybe her early 30s, in ''[=DMC5=]''.
* While most demons in ''Franchise/{{Disgaea}}'' are definitely in the category of Really700YearsOld, there is one "mundane" example in [[VideoGame/Disgaea2CursedMemories Yukimaru]], who is 20 years old but looks rather younger.
** Taken to a very ridiculous degree in regards to demons through 10,000-year-old [[spoiler:Majolene]] in ''VideoGame/Disgaea6DefianceOfDestiny'', who turned into a young MagicalGirl due to using the Legendary Witch Wand, and she's stuck that way, much to her chagrin.
* ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry'': Both Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong are this in post-Rare installments. They're both teenagers but their less anthropomorphic designs compared to some other Kongs makes them look quite young. Dixie is the most noticeable. She [[NonstandardCharacterDesign looks nothing]] like the more humanoid Candy or Tiny. Tiny, who is Dixie's younger sister, was given an aged up redesign in the 2000s and is currently a teenager, yet Dixie doesn't look any older than before.
* In ''[[VideoGame/DotsHome Dot's Home]]'', Dot, a millennial woman, time travels back to 2010, when Alma, the wife of Dot's older sister Georgia, is organizing a community event for the Tawfiq Family. Alma is surprised that Dot entered the community center when she was supposedly "too busy with college applications" to attend the meeting.
--> '''Dot [thinking]''': ''Wait, Alma recognized me? And what's this about college applications? Are you telling me I still pass as a teenager?''
* In a more minor example, Loghain can appear in ''VideoGame/DragonAgeInquisition'' if he survived the events of ''VideoGame/DragonAgeOrigins''. The game is set in 9:42 Dragon, and Loghain was old enough to join the Fereldan Army and become its general before the start of the Dragon Age (42 years earlier). He has to be at least 60, yet he still doesn't have as much as a gray hair, and otherwise looks to be in his late 40s or early 50s.
** This seems to have hit most of the returning characters as well, who show little to no obvious signs of aging the decade or more between appearances. Special mention to Cassandra who looks to be somewhere in her 20s, but her real age is somewhere in the realm of late 30s to early 40s. She never mentions a number, but casually admits that she hasn't been a "young" woman for a good while.
** Meanwhile, Leliana was born shortly before the Orlesian occupation of Ferelden ended, meaning she is probably in her early thirties in ''Origins'' and in her early forties in ''Inquisition''.
** Vivienne is also implied to be an example. There are no indicators of her age besides appearance and it is noted that she was voted [[TheArchmage First Enchanter]] of Montsimmard at an age "[[ImprobableAge young enough to cause scandal]]". When the party meets [[spoiler:the Nightmare demon]], it taunts Vivienne with the claim that the real reason she is so desperate to restore the old Circle system is because she's too old to build up her power base in a new system. [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness Instead of brushing it off with some quip like she does all other insults, she angrily orders the rest of the party not to say a word]].
** There's also [[VideoGame/DragonAgeII Hawke]] who doesn't age at all through 7 years of the game! Especially true for their default appearances where they continue to look to be in their early to mid 20s the whole time, it's even carried into Inquisition where they would have been ten years older than when they started the game.
* ''VideoGame/DragonQuest'':
** ''VideoGame/DragonQuestV'': The Hero and his bride were turned into statues for ten years, for which they look like 18-year-olds even though they are in their late twenties.
** ''VideoGame/DragonQuestXI''
*** Veronica is the party's resident child-sized Black Mage, but she only looks like a child because she was cursed shortly before you meet her. She's actually as old as her White Mage twin sister, Serena (who is an adult woman).
*** Grand Master Pang is old enough to be [[OldMaster Rab's]] teacher and yet looks like she's in her twenties.
* ''Franchise/TheElderScrolls'':
** In ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIVOblivion Oblivion]]'', [[TheEmperor Emperor]] [[TheGoodKing Uriel Septim VII]] is 87, though could easily pass for being in his 60s at the oldest. Possibly justified; in-universe, it is said that he did not age in the ten years he spent trapped in Oblivion during the [[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsArena Imperial Simulacrum]]. It is also rumored that he had his mages and healers employ various methods of extending his life as well.
** In ''[[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim Skyrim]]'', due to the vanilla (original, unmodded) Nord skintones are mostly full of wrinkles, this is true of a few characters, even among the ordinary mortals. Possibly the most notable one is Anneke Crag-Jumper, who appears to be approximately the same age as her fully grown daughter.
* ''VideoGame/EnsembleStars'' has Nazuna, who looks exactly like the first years he shares an idol group with (and in fact is shorter than all of his teammates), but is actually a third year. He's not very happy about it, though, preferring to be thought of as a reliable older brother figure (which he also very much is), and getting angry when people treat him like a kid.
** On the other hand, there's also Tori, who ''is'' a first year, but looks closer to ten than the 15-year-old he actually is. (And he [[DeliberatelyCuteChild takes great advantage of this.]])
* With few exceptions, the characters in ''VideoGame/EternalSonata'' are noted for being either this or younger than they look, due to the game's graphical style.
* Mag Launcher from ''VideoGame/EvolutionTheWorldOfSacredDevice'' is 16 years old but looks far younger. There is a bit of FlavorText that can be found by inspecting a pipe in his yard that reveals that he hasn't grown taller since ''age 10'' and an NPC in the sequel compares Mag to his ''8-year-old'' son. On a similar note, party member [[BrattyHalfPint Chain Gun]] is one year younger and reaches Mag's chest in terms of height. Linear Cannon is similar [[spoiler: but she qualifies for a [[TimeAbyss different trope]]]].
* ''VideoGame/EXTRAPOWERAttackOfDarkforce'': Keisha, one of the wizards of Ispares and Blackberry's aunt... except she looks like a child, to Blackberry's confusion. Turned out she used some of her magic to restore herself back into a child. She offers her trick to Blackberry, who refuses, citing that she'd rather extend her life a thousand years.
* The protagonist Fang in ''VideoGame/FairyFencerF'' does look like he's in his late teens, but [[AllThereInTheManual according to the artbook]], he's actually 20 years old. Compounded by Pipin calling him "seinen" instead of "shounen".
* ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'':
** Krile's battle sprites in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyV'' are the 'child' type used for preteen characters Rydia, the Mysidian twins, and the Onion Knights from the previous two games (which use a three-quarter AsideGlance to make the face look bigger). She's actually fourteen, which is only clear in the Amano art and larger, Amano-based portrait from the mobile port.
** Rydia in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIVTheAfterYears'' is probably in her forties or at least her late thirties, since she was an adult at the end of ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIV'', and TAY takes place seventeen years later. Nonetheless, she retains much of her youthful appearance and mannerisms. But that's only if logic is followed, as chronologically, she's 24.
*** Cecil, Kain and Rosa are in their late thirties, but they look like they didn't age much.
*** Cid looks around 60 or 65 at best, but he's 71.
*** If I told you that Edward and Edge are respectively '''41''' and '''43''', would you believe me?
*** Without the armor, Golbez looks in his late thirties, but he's 47.
*** Three relatively minor examples are Harley, Gekkou and Zangetsu, who looks the same they are in ''Interlude'' despite the 16 years gap, although considering that the game has only a 2D version, it's hard to make out their appearances.
** In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII'' Vincent appears to be somewhere in his 20s but, chronologically speaking, he should be around 60ish. Justified, in that [[spoiler: he was a young man when he was [[OnlyMostlyDead killed]], but experiments performed on his body plus a bit of magic made him pretty much immortal. So he never ages, and then he proceeded to spend the next 30 or so years sleeping in a coffin prior to the player character [[OptionalPartyMember finding and awakening him in the game.]]]]
** ''[=FFVII=]'' also has Aerith, who due to her child-like PluckyGirl mannerisms seems much younger and more immature than her companions Cloud and Tifa, in actual fact Aerith is two years older than Tifa and one year older than Cloud, being 22 years old. The [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIIRemake remake]] if anything actually makes Aerith ''look even younger'' than she did in the original.
** Yuffie is also subject to this, while she mostly looks 16 years old in the original ''[=FFVII=]'', in ''Anime/AdventChildren'' and ''VideoGame/DirgeOfCerberus'' they decided to make Yuffie look like she’s 14 or so even though she was respectively 18 and 19 years old in those titles. Ironically [[YoungerThanTheyLook inverted]] for ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIIRemake Intergrade'' where Yuffie gets AdaptationalCurves making her look older than 16.
** Fran in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXII'' is actually over 50 years old, though she appears to be a woman in her early twenties. [[OurElvesAreDifferent As Ivalice's stand-ins for elves, viera live much longer than humes on average]]. It leads to a great joke where [[StreetUrchin Vaan]] ''very awkwardly'' asks the badass FallenPrincess how old she is.
--->'''Fran''': ''[storms off, clearly offended]''\
'''Balthier''': Nice, Vaan.\
'''Ashe''': ''[annoyed groan]''\
'''[[WiseBeyondTheirYears Larsa]]''': Surprisingly rude.\
'''Penelo''': Try to grow up, please.
** Due to time being messed up by the end of the trilogy, all of the main characters for ''VideoGame/LightningReturnsFinalFantasyXIII'' are much, much older than they look. Fang did the math and proudly declares she's the "oldest hag on the planet" chronologically being 1,621 years old and physically only 21. Second and third place go to Vanille and Hope, who are respectively 1,619 and 1,014 years old chronologically, and 19 and 14 years old physically [[spoiler:(though in Hope's case, his physical appearance is [[DemonicPossession not by choice]])]].
** In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXVI'', Anabella Rosfield ages surprisingly gracefully for a woman old enough to have a 33-year-old son, looking far younger than a woman who should be in her early to mid-fifties.
* ''Franchise/FireEmblem'':
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemPathOfRadiance'' and its sequel, ''VideoGame/FireEmblemRadiantDawn'', has Janaff. While [[OurWerebeastsAreDifferent Bird Laguz]] have a longer lifespan then [[HumansByAnyOtherName beorc]], its revealed in the guides that Janaff is proportionally and physically equivalent to a 30-year-old human. Given Janaff is extremely short and has a clean-shaven babyface ([[https://kantopia.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/075janaff1.jpg image here]]), one would easier peg him as below 18.
** Downplayed with Finn from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemGenealogyOfTheHolyWar'' is 35 in the second generation and 34 in the midquel ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThracia776'', but in both he looks like he is only in his early-to-mid twenties. Though he does show AnimationAnatomyAging as his eyes are smaller and his chin is larger. It becomes especially apparent when comparing him to his friend Glade, who is the same age and [[OlderThanTheyLook looks to be in his 40s]].
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses'':
*** Pre-timeskip Bernadetta is below-average in height and has round facial features, which when combined with her high-pitched voice, makes her look like a younger teenager, when she's in fact 17 at the start of the game, which is jarring when you compare her to the also-17 Edelgard and Ferdinand (who look their ages).
*** Pre-timeskip Annette looks like a small child, not helped by her donut-shaped pigtails, when she's almost 17 at the start of the game. Her voice is at least sounds like a teenager's.
*** Pre-timeskip Ashe has a slight build, a round face, and is rather short, but is actually 16 at the start of the game.
*** Ignatz is 17 at the start of the game, but his slight build, short height, and soft and slightly high voice hide it. He also falls into this to a lesser extent during the timeskip, although his voice is noticeably deeper after.
*** Pre-timeskip Sylvain barely looks any older than his childhood friends (who are all 17 at the start of the game), but is almost 20 at the start of the game, and is in fact the third-oldest student after Hubert (by less than two months) and Mercedes. [[note]]Fourth-oldest if counting DLC, as Balthus is older than Mercedes.[[/note]]
*** Post-timeskip, Felix falls into this, as he only really changes his hairstyle and clothing during the timeskip, otherwise looking exactly as he did as a teenager pre-timeskip. This might be genetic, as his father, Rodrigue, looks more like Felix's older brother than father.
* In ''VideoGame/FirstEncounterAssaultRecon'' Alma looks like a young girl in her pre-teens. At least, until [[spoiler: she escapes the Vault]]; then she looks like a young woman in her late teens. [[spoiler: Technically, she was in her mid-twenties when she was killed, but her mind was powerful enough to remain intact, and as of the timeframe of the games she is roughly in her late forties.]]
* Jedi Master [[SparedByTheAdaptation Shaak Ti]] in ''VideoGame/TheForceUnleashed'' is pushing 60 by the time of the game but hasn't aged since the Republic era thanks to the Force. That and her NubileSavage attire makes [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe her]] MsFanservice, [[NeverMessWithGranny but good luck appreciating it while you're getting thrown across the battlefield like a ragdoll]].
* In ''VideoGame/FrontMission5'', by the time of the final mission, Walter Feng and Lynn Wennwright are both hitting their early fifties, but look like they're still in their twenties.
* Due to their nature as gynoids, the titular Nikkes from ''VideoGame/GoddessOfVictoryNikke'' have robot bodies that belie their actual ages, unlike their original human ones. Some stand-out examples include the remnants of the Goddess Squad (Rapunzel, Scarlet, Snow White, and Dorothy), who fought the invaders since the First Rapture Invasion 100 years ago; and Liter, who looks like a kid but talks and acts like a grandma.
* Shows up now and then in the ''VideoGame/GoldenSun'' games:
** Isaac and Garet look about ten in the prologue, despite being supposedly around fourteen. They still look fairly young three years later, and join forces with Ivan, who is fifteen but looks around ten. Felix on the other hand looks ''much'' older, but is stated to be 18 (post-timeskip) [[AllThereInTheManual in the manual]].
** It's a plot point for Piers, who comes from a nation which has the secret of prolonged youth, and makes a point of refusing to tell anyone how old he is for fear that it will change how his friends treat him, implying that he's a lot older than the young adult he appears to be.
** In ''[[VideoGame/GoldenSunDarkDawn Dark Dawn]]'', Rief looks like a small child but is probably in his mid-teens, Amiti looks closer to fourteen than nineteen-ish, and Eoleo is ''supposed'' to be over thirty, but looks closer to his mid-twenties.
* Radio advertisements in ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoViceCity'' mentions a show called ''Just the Five of Us'', featuring a character called Jimmy who looks 12 but claims to be a 42-year-old investement banker. This turns out to be real, in show and out in [[VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoSanAndreas San Andreas]], about 9 years later when we hear the actor who played Jimmy again, still looking and sounding like a kid, even though he's in his fifties.
* May from ''VideoGame/GuiltyGear'' has been the TokenMiniMoe of the series since the beginning, and looks to be in her early teens at most. By ''Xrd'', she's actually in her twenties.
* Even ignoring the ArtisticAge that plagues the series, ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon'' has always had young looking bachelors and bachelorettes:
** Nina from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon1'' doesn't even look like an adult in her official art, yet she's of marriage age. The fact she is a bubbly, cute ThirdPersonPerson does not help. ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonMagicalMelody'' made her look slightly more like a young adult.
** Ann from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon64'' and ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonBackToNature'' looks like she is in her mid-teens, not helped by her somewhat immature personality and the fact she is apparently ignorant enough not to know where babies come from. [[RuleOfFunny Even after getting pregnant]].
** Subverted with Lumina from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonAWonderfulLife''. She is as young as she looks, only being fourteen in the original game. She was {{Age Lift}}ed to sixteen (eighteen internationally) in ''Another Wonderful Life'' when she became Rock's love interest but kept her design the same. ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonDS'' ignores the awkwardness and just uses her adult design from the start. Played straight with Rock himself, who is in his early twenties but looks and acts like a teenager. In a non-LoveInterest character, Hugh is eight but looks six. That is because he ''was'' six in Japan but was given an AgeLift internationally due to ValuesDissonance concerning how his father trains him at his young age.
** 16-year-old Katie from ''Harvest Moon Save The Homeland'' is one of the few who is mentioned in-series. Her BerserkButton is being mistaken for a kid. Though, she doesn't look ''too'' young. It's likely her lolita fashion way of dressing and her short height that make her look young.
** ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonIslandOfHappiness'' has Nate and Pierre. Nate seems a bit young looking to be marriageable while Pierre outright looks like a 10-year-old.
** Luna from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonTreeOfTranquility'' is about half as tall as Kevin and has to jump in order to kiss him on their wedding day. Her height combined with her lolita style of dressing makes her look quite young, twelve or under. In the AlternateUniverse that is ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonAnimalParade'' she's considerably taller though, but still looks somewhat young due to her fashion
** The Oracle from ''VideoGame/HarvestMoonTaleOfTwoTowns'' looks prepubescent but is Really700YearsOld
** Fritz and Mistel from ''VideoGame/StoryOfSeasons2014'' look like middle schoolers but are marriageable and not treated like kids.
*** Subverted with Dessie who really is young. Of course, she's a goddess, so maybe not.
*** Subverted with Witchie, who is the daughter of the Witch Princess of previous games.
* Emperor Sun Hai of ''VideoGame/JadeEmpire'' has reigned as emperor of the eponymous empire for at least 20 years and is the father of a young adult daughter. His younger brother, your mentor Sun Li, is an old man. Despite all this, he looks middle-aged at oldest, and there's a reason for that; [[spoiler:he made himself immortal, among other things, by drawing on the Water Dragon's power]].
* The ''Kongou''-class sisters in ''VideoGame/KanColle'' -- Kongou, Hiei, Haruan, and Kirishima -- are a [[BunnyEarsLawyer bunch]] of [[CloudCuckooLander quirky]] [[LightningBruiser fast and hard hitters]]. They are also THE OLDEST ships in the entire IJN fleet. [[labelnote:Historic note]]Bar one ship, Asahi, who was built in 1898 and launched in 1900, but she's a converted repair ship by the time WWII rolled in.[[/labelnote]]
** Pretty much all of the shipgirls in the game are OlderThanTheyLook anyway. Especially the destroyer and submarine, who look like grade-schoolers or middle schoolers.
* Viridi in ''VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising'' looks like she's 8 years old, but it's actually an immortal goddess. Other characters in the game follow that same logic, including Pit, who is at least older than 25 years but looks (and acts) like a 13-year-old boy. [[note]]though Palutena implies all the divine beings in the game (Yes including Pit) are Really700YearsOld.[[/note]]
* ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'':
** The Destiny Island characters in their first game, and subsequent gang appearances featuring said designs. Sora and Kairi especially fit, as they are fourteen but could pass for 11- or 12-year-olds; it's probably ArtisticAge and symbolism. Riku fits less so, since he's muscular and {{Bishonen}}. The biggest contenders for this, however, were Tidus and Selphie. They're the same age as as the main trio, but look and act years younger; like seven to 9-year-olds, though Tidus does have some muscle on him. Everyone looks more their age starting with the second game.
** As of ''VideoGame/KingdomHearts3DDreamDropDistance'', Ventus [[spoiler:has been in a coma for twelve years. While his body hasn't actually aged in that time, he's now technically 28 years old.]]
** If Kingdom Hearts Union χ [cross] is anything to go by, [[spoiler:Ventus is FAR OLDER than that, as the mobile games take place many years before even ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsBirthBySleep'', effectively making Ventus older than even ''Master Xehanort''.]]
* The Jedi Exile from ''VideoGame/KnightsOfTheOldRepublic 2''; according to Mira, the Exile's appearance hasn't changed since the Mandalorian Wars, ten years prior to the game. This would put the Jedi Exile in her thirties at least.
* ''VideoGame/TheLastOfUs'':
** Downplayed with Ellie. When they first met, Joel thinks Ellie is 12 (and she looks it), but she's actually fourteen.
** Ellie's friend/love interest Riley is said to be 16 in supplemental material, but she looks closer to 12 or 13.
** According to her I.D. in the [=PS5=] ''Part I'' remake, Tess was born on February 26, 1982, which would make her 51 years old. In the original [=PS3=] version, as well as the [=PS4=] remaster, she looks to be in her early 30s at most. Even though she was made to look older in the [=PS5=] remake, she still looks at least a decade younger than her actual age.
* ''Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda'':
** Don't let [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTwilightPrincess Malo's]] cute baby looks fool you -- he is actually ''8 years old'' and [[WiseBeyondTheirYears very savvy when it comes to business]].
** Implied with Link in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask'' what with all he went through in [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaofTime the last game]]. In addition to this, he is taken far more seriously by the characters in this game than when he was a kid in Ocarina of Time, and he has the ability to use all the weapons (arrows, hookshot) he could only use as an adult before.
** Link in ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild Breath of the Wild]]'' is around 17 years old [[spoiler:minus the century he spent healing in stasis]] an definitely looks the part. ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTearsOfTheKingdom Tears of the Kingdom]]'' is set several years later (exactly how many is unclear, but it's somwhere in the 4-6 range), putting him somewhere in his early twenties, yet he still looks like a teenager.
* Mochi from ''VideoGame/LonelyWolfTreat'' is 19, but you wouldn't be able to tell from her short stature and cutesy appearance. This has caused a few funny moments in the series where [[MistakenAge she's mistaken for a child]], [[BerserkButton much to her chagrin]].
* Most of the human race is this in ''Franchise/MassEffect'', due to vastly improved medical technology and genetic engineering. Miranda is highly generically engineered and looks easily in her 30s while actually being almost 40. Kahlee Sanders is in her early forties, but appears to be in her early thirties. The Illusive Man looks fairly young but is implied to be much older.
* ''VideoGame/MortalKombatX'': After a 25-year TimeSkip, Sonya Blade still looks rather young and attractive, despite being in her forties and having a grown daughter. (She has, however, lost the {{Stripperific}} costumes).
* All the younger party members from the ''VideoGame/{{MOTHER}}'' series are thirteen-[[VagueAge ish]]. Due in part to the games ComicStrip/{{Peanuts}}-like art style, they all look no older than ten.
* Pretty much everyone in ''VideoGame/MrDriller'' looks older than they look, mostly the teenagers, all of them look like they're 11 years old or so, most of them are already 14 or even 17.
* The goddesses in the ''Franchise/{{Neptunia}}'' series look like teens and preteens (even children for the youngest ones) and even act the part, but they are actually [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld hundreds of years old]]. Even by their standards, though, Nepgear doesn't look that much younger than her older sister Neptune (She arguably looks older, even).
** This gets a LampshadeHanging in ''Victory'' where the alternate dimension's goddesses are made, not born. Neptune wonders where this timeline's version of herself is, only to be reminded that without immortality as a safety net, her laziness and self-negligence probably resulted in her starving to death in the streets. [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments Her reaction to this is priceless.]]
* Elliot and Claris from ''VideoGame/NiGHTSIntoDreams'' are actually supposed to be 14 to 15 years old (15 in Japan, 14 in America and Europe), but yet they look more like 11-year-olds.
* The central character of ''VideoGame/NightInTheWoods'', Mae, is 20 years old, but could easily be mistaken for a teenager, partially because of the game's storybook-esque art style, and partially because Mae's the shortest of her friends, is a {{Womanchild}}, and doesn't have a job or driver's license.
* ''VideoGame/NobodySavesTheWorld'': Nobody apparently gives the impression of being childlike. Young apprentice wizard Randy mistakes them for a fellow apprentice, the shopkeeper at Mutown calls thinks they're a child, a resident of Stonefish Village calls them a baby salamander, and an optional Objective implies that Nobody sees themself as some sort of "bald baby". [[spoiler:They're actually the great Wizard Nostramagus who used to be a bulky, wizened older man with a wild scruffy gray beard until their experiences with The Calamity reduced them to their current form.]]
* Doctor Naomi from ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes'', Santa Destroy's scientist specialist in [[LaserBlade beam katanas]] and, in ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes2DesperateStruggle'', [[spoiler:HumongousMecha]]. Looks like she's in her mid-to-late twentes; early thirties at most. [[AllThereInTheManual But apparently]], she's actually ''63'', and uses some sort of super science to keep her youthful looks.
* ''VideoGame/NotForBroadcast'': Despite having a cute face with SixtiesHair and the [[VocalDissonance high-pitched voice of an adolescent boy]] (and Megan Wolfe calling him "little" at one time), Jeremy Robert Donaldson is simply no less than 40 to 41 years old ([[spoiler:as inscribed on his gravestone if you let him die on national television in Day 296]]). [[spoiler:Provided that you help him survive the heatwave, he can turn 47 by the end of 1991 and still look a bit youthful aside from the stubble on his chin.]]
** Dale from Heatrash looks like the youngest member of the band, but claims to have a growth disorder, and is actually 23. The other band members say he's actually 58.
** A production assistant in the Finale, Colin, claims to be 44, much to Megan's surprise.
* Ochette from ''VideoGame/OctopathTravelerII'' is actually a bit older than Agnea, the youngest party member (being 20 to Agnea's 18), but she could easily be mistaken for being in her early- or mid-teens due to her petite size and [[GenkiGirl energetic nature]]. This seems to be common for Beastlings in general, as the Hunters Guild Master is stated to be 120 years old while looking much younger than that.
* ''VideoGame/OdinSphere'': [[spoiler: Cornelius and Velvet lived centuries after the Armageddon in the True Ending and finally amassed every single Valentine coin. They break the Pooka curse on themselves, reverting back to humans, looking exactly the way the were before getting cursed. No one would think they are actually over a millennia old]].
* Miss Momoka from ''VideoGame/OmegaQuintet'' is actually billed as "Eternally Seventeen", and looks the part. In reality, she's... approaching a significant milestone. [[BerserkButton Asking her about it is a bad idea.]] [[spoiler:It's hinted she's pushing forty -- the most likely exact number is 37.]]
* ''VideoGame/{{Overwatch}}'':
** Tracer looks and acts like a perky teenager but she's stated to be 26. It may have something to do with her getting UnstuckInTime 8 years ago.
** Sombra has the personality and general appearance of a {{troll}}ing [[TheCracker malevolent hacker]] in her late teens or early twenties, but is actually 30 years old.
* Aya in ''VideoGame/ParasiteEve'' is somewhere between her late 20s and early 30s, but her parasite energy powers keep her look at early 20s. She complains about this a few times to herself whenever she goes on about how [[IJustWantToBeNormal she just wants to live a normal life and not live forever]]. She even starts aging in reverse in ''VideoGame/ParasiteEve2'', which is why when that game comes around, she actually looks younger than she did in the first.
* If you choose to date her during the summer festival, 15-year-old Ayane Matsunaga from ''VideoGame/Persona4'' is mistaken for an elementary, then middle school student by one of the vendors. To add insult to injury, when she wins a book in a festival raffle, the host politely warns that it may be too difficult for her to read. She doesn't take it very well.
* Tonnio and Liina in ''VideoGame/PhantasyStarUniverse'' both look like 12-year-old kids but are actually on their late twenties, which came as a surprise in Portable 2 when [[spoiler:they are a married couple.]]
* In ''VideoGame/{{Piratez}}'', Hellerium-depraved Ubers are small and cute, but in fact they are usually older and wiser than your average, big Ubers.
* ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'':
** Emma from ''VideoGame/PokemonXAndY'' is made to seem far younger than the [[VagueAge roughly]] 16-to-18-year-old protagonist, appears shorter than you, and is the leader of a group of kids who dislike the protagonist for being "too grown-up"... But she's explicitly 16 years old. Most fans thought she was Shauna's age or younger.
** Trainers in the "Fairy Tale Girl" trainer class look like little girls wearing sweet lolita fashion. One of them though mentions that she's old enough to be your mother.
** Lusamine from ''VideoGame/PokemonSunAndMoon'' looks barely older than the player (probably her early 20s at most), but mentions that she's over 40 [[spoiler:and even has two kids over 11]]. After being told this, Hau does a DoubleTake. Lusamine mentions that her fashion sense helps her look younger.
** During the quest to get the Eevee Z-Crystal in ''Sun and Moon'', the player has to battle a group of elderly Eeveelution Trainers scattered across the region. The Leafeon user was once a famous model and appears to be in her early 20s because she spends all of her money trying to stay young through "medicines" and other means.
** Also in ''Sun and Moon'', Wally appears as an optional post-game battle. He should be the same age as Red, Blue, and [[spoiler:Anabel]] (his late teens or early twenties), but he doesn't look much older than in the previous game, where he was ten. His model, however, is actually slightly different than his ''[=ORAS=]'' one, implying this was intentional.
** [[ImpliedTrope Implied]] with Hapu, the kahuna of Poni Island from ''Sun and Moon''. She is shorter than the protagonist and has big eyes. However, while trial captains must be over 11 and under 20, the same is not true of Island Kahunas. Every other Island Kahuna is confirmed to be an adult. Olivia, the other female kahuna, is somewhere in her twenties or thirties and is said to be quite young for a kahuna.
** In ''VideoGame/PokemonSwordAndShield'', one Eevee Girl in the Battle Tower claims that she's been waiting "[[https://i.redd.it/wyi21lzibnu51.jpg 20 years for this day to come!]]" She looks no older than any of the other Eevee Girls, who don't look a day over six. Of course, it is possible she was just joking around.
** In ''VideoGame/PokemonScarletAndViolet'', Elite Four Poppy looks like a five or six year old child. She looks way younger than any playable character in the franchise(Of whom the youngest is 10 or 11). However, she is actually 9(Only two years younger than Red in the first game).
* Tia from ''VideoGame/PotionMaker'' has pretty adult proportions despite being younger than Pio. Pio notes it as unusual and possibly a result of magical potion.
* In ''VideoGame/PromiseOfWizard'', not one, not two, but almost half of the pretty boy wizards are ReallySevenHundredYearsOld, due to how wizard ages much slower than normal person. Special mention to the youngest-looking Snow and White, who are actually the oldest at approximately ''more than 2000 years'' old.
* In the ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'' series, Lidelle is in the same school class as Amitie and her friends, who are all teenagers. However, because of her hand-hiding sleeves, short height, child-like voice and timid personality, Lidelle could pass off as someone much younger.
* ''VideoGame/QuantumProtocol'': According to the developer, Queen is in her 30s, despite not looking much older than the other female members of Quantum.
* The ''Franchise/ResidentEvil'' series has a bad case of this, as many of the characters debuted in the 90s have a corresponding timeline following the years the games came out meaning most of them are in their 40s nowadays.
** Chris Redfield and Jill were in their 20s when debuted in the [[VideoGame/ResidentEvil1 first game]] cut to six years later in ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil5 RE5]]'''s ''Lost In Nightmares'' DLC and Chris and Jill don’t look like they’ve aged a day since 1998. At least Jill gets the excuse of being a HumanPopsicle thanks to Wesker, Chris who still looks young at 44 years old in ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil7 RE7]]'' has no excuse. Averted in ''VideoGame/ResidentEvilVillage'' as Chris is more noticeably aged compared to previous titles.
** In ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil6 RE6]]'' in Sherry Birkin. She's 26 years old, but looks, sounds, and frequently acts slightly younger than her escortee Jake Muller, who's 21. {{Justified|Trope}} in that it's an effect of the [[VideoGame/ResidentEvil2 G-virus]] she has in her adapting to her body and increasing regeneration to HealingFactor levels.
*** Sherry also very much seemed to be younger than her age of 12 in ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil2'', as most children by then have at least stopped referring to their parents as "Mommy" and "Daddy", especially considering they weren't a particularly close family. It's more egregious in the original game, though even in the [[VideoGame/ResidentEvil2Remake remake]], she both looks and acts younger than she is.
** Leon S. Kennedy was 21 when he first appeared in ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil2 RE2]]'' cut to ''[=RE6=]'' and Leon still looks as youthful as the aforementioned Sherry despite the 20 years that have passed, and Sherry being ''12 years old'' when she met Leon. By the time of ''Anime/ResidentEvilVendetta'', Leon, like Chris, Jill and Claire, is well into his 40s, but apart from some PermaStubble he’s still a stud.
** Also from ''Vendetta'' there’s Rebecca Chambers who was 18 in ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil0 RE0]] ''/''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvil RE1]]'' and still looks like teenager in the movie despite being actually 33 years old at that point.
** For ''Resident Evil Dead Island'' there was a kerfuffle over the fact that whilst Chris and Leon relatively look their age, Jill in comparison looks like she hasn’t aged at all despite being in her 40s (in fact her entire appearance is based off her ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil3Remake'' version, a game set in 1998 where Jill is 23). The official Twitter for movie however [[https://www.kotaku.com.au/2023/03/new-resident-evil-movie-explains-why-jill-valentine-hasnt-aged/amp/ confirms]] the T-Virus infection has slowed Jill’s aging down, so like Sherry she does have an excuse for it unlike other protagonists.
** BigBad Albert Wesker is 49 [[spoiler: at the time of his death]] yet he looks about the same age as his ArchEnemy Chris despite working for Umbrella since he was 18 in 1977. This more likely due to the SuperSerum keeping Wesker at top physical condition, also his age might’ve been halted after “dying” in the first game.
** Ada Wong is the worst offender, she was older than Leon and Claire at 24 when she debuted in ''[=RE2=]'' (1998) but years later in ''[=RE6=]'' (2013) she’s as [[MsFanservice beautiful and sexy]] as ever in approximately her late 30s to early 40s in spite of the decades that have passed in between time. Concept art for ''VideoGame/ResidentEvilVillage'' reveals Ada was going to be in the game and surprise surprise doesn’t look any older than she did in the previous games, despite being two years shy of 50 years old InUniverse.
** Speaking of ''VideoGame/ResidentEvilVillage'', Lady Dimitrescu, Donna Beneviento and BigBad Mother Miranda are much older than they look. Lady D was born shortly after WWI which would make her well into her 100s by the time of 2021, but she physically she looks like a slightly wrinkled, very attractive and curvaceous 44-year-old woman. Donna was born some time in the early 20th century but besides a grotesque face disfigurement over her eye, is quite beautiful. Mother Miranda was born in 1919 but as seen by the finale looks like a beautiful young woman, the weathered hag form she briefly uses to Ethan with is what she’d really look like today. Justified since all three women have been infected with the RNA Virus, which like Wesker has drastically halted their ageing. Although in Miranda’s case, it’s mainly due to her VoluntaryShapeShifting power.
* Leanne from ''VideoGame/ResonanceOfFate'' looks about 16 at the oldest, but is actually 21. There's nothing supernatural at work in this case, just puberty having been extraordinarily unkind to her (something she's [[ACupAngst touchy about]]).
* In ''VideoGame/{{Robopon}}'', when Rena leaves behind her adoptive parents in the second game, she also leaves behind a sphere that makes them young and healthy again while allowing them to retain their memories. While her father becomes something akin to a cute boy, her mother becomes very, very pretty.
* ''VideoGame/RuneFactory'' continues the trend begun by ''Harvest Moon'', with character designs that tend to look young for their supposed age. In ''VideoGame/RuneFactory4'', for example, Kiel is a marriageable bachelor yet looks only ten or twelve. Amber and Xiao Pai are available bachelorettes, but they also look about ten or twelve.
* ''VideoGame/SaintsRow'' series:
** Kinzie Kensington in ''Saints Row: The Third'' is a grown woman, but both looks and sounds like a teenager.
*** Zimos, who would have to be at least in his mid-seventies, looks to be in his late forties.
** [[spoiler: Future Shaundi in ''How the Saints Saved Christmas'']] comes from the year 2035. She would be at least 50, but apart from her cybernetic parts, shows no signs of aging.
* According to Grienko's notes in ''VideoGame/SecondSight'', the psychic Zener Children are afflicted with a developmental disorder that has stopped them from aging past puberty. Since Project Zener has been active (if not funded) for several decades, this would place most of them in their forties or fifties.
* In ''VideoGame/SecretOfEvermore'' this trope extends to all four of the human characters who have been trapped for thirty years in the virtual world of Evermore, since nobody physically ages there, but it particularly comes into play with Elizabeth, who was 10 years old at the time of the experiment. When the present-day hero's accidentally transported into Evermore and meets her, she's become the ruler and protector of a prehistoric village, and has a mature, mentor personality that's completely at odds with her appearance.
* ''VideoGame/SleepingDogs2012'': Sifu Kwok taught Wei kung fu when he was in his teens, meaning that Kwok is in his late forties at the youngest, and probably in his mid-to-late fifties. However, he looks to be in his mid-thirties; he has a few wrinkles, but a full head of hair without a trace of gray, and is still powerfully built with no sign of going to seed.
* ''[[VideoGame/SoulSeries Soul Calibur V]]'' game takes place after a 17-year TimeSkip. Between her alchemical experimentation and exposure to the Spirit Blades Ivy ([[MsFanservice conveniently enough]]) has not aged at all.
** Tira was 17 during the events of ''Soulcalibur III'' and ''IV''. Seventeen years later in ''V'', she looks like she hasn't aged a day, thanks to malfestation halting the aging process of her body.
* Jaguar from ''VideoGame/SpaceChannel5'' doesn't look much older than Ulala and Pudding who are respectively 22 and 19, though he's actually 35. Likewise, [[Music/MichaelJackson Space Michael]] is canonically over 500 years old, but [[TheAgeless but hasn't aged a day since the late 90s]].
* ''Franchise/{{Splaoon}}'' has Pearl a short Inkling girl who looks and acts like a BrattyHalfPint. She's also three years older than her partner Marina, being 21 in ''Splatoon 2'' and around 27 in ''Splatoon 3''.
* Lymle from ''VideoGame/StarOceanTheLastHope'' looks and acts around 6 years old, but really is around 15 due to both the size of her people in general and from an accident with symbology that caused her to fall into a demon portal and suffer so much hate and miserly she cut off all of her emotions. (This is only revealed in the [[AllThereInTheManual in-game encyclopedia]].)
* ''VideoGame/StarTrekOnline'': Biographical details given for Commander Tiaru Jarok, captain of the Romulan Republic flagship RRW ''Lleiset'', state that she was an officer in the Romulan navy during the Dominion War, which makes her a minimum of fifty-something in ''STO''[='s=] present. She looks to be in her late twenties at most, [[JustifiedTrope probably attributable]] to her being Romulan (a Vulcan subspecies, therefore [[WeAreAsMayflies having roughly twice the lifespan of humans]]).
* ''Franchise/StreetFighter'':
** Akuma from is actually 50 in ''VideoGame/StreetFighterIII''. You wouldn't know it by looking at him.
** Sakura is a particular infamous case of this as she was introduced as a teenager and her beloved spunky school girl status has meant Capcom have been very reluctant to age her up (former producer Yoshinori Ono then stating she’s NotAllowedToGrowUp), even in her ending in ''IV'' where she’s supposed to be 19 she still looks like a teenager. This was changed for ''VideoGame/StreetFighterV'' where Sakura is older and out of school, though she could still pass for a much younger girl.
** Chun-Li and Cammy are much worse case of this than Sakura. They were both introduced as young women but many decades have passed both in and out of universe so by ''VideoGame/StreetFighter6'' (which is set well after ''III'') they are chronically in their late 40s at the very least, yet unlike Ryu and Ken Chun-Li and Cammy could still pass for half that age not looking a day over 30 being still as beautiful and shapely as ever. Worth noting Chun-Li is self conscious about getting older and in the crossover games actually to refuses to reveal her age.
** Justified with Rose. She’s implied to be quite old with Chun-Li referring to her as “Obasan” in the Japanese version of ''[[VideoGame/StreetFighterAlpha Street Fighter Alpha 2]]'' yet Rose still looks like a beautiful 30-something woman, this due to her SoulPower making Rose appear a great deal younger than she actually is. Given she’s based off [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureBattleTendency Lisa Lisa]] this is entirely appropriate.
* ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'':
** In ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiPartnersInTime'' you meet Kylie Koopa in the past, when the eponymous brothers were infants. You meet her again in ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiDreamTeam'', where she still looks younger than the brothers, despite more than twenty years having passed.
** Speaking of ''Mario'', there's Lemmy Koopa. He looks like a cute little kid but he's actually the ''''second oldest.'''' It really does not help that he is very immature, and Iggy, who originally looked like him but with glasses, but was actually two times younger, became [[VideoGame/NewSuperMarioBrosWii an extremely tall green-turnip-haired]] MadScientist!
** Creator/ShigeruMiyamoto has stated that Mario, and subsequently his twin brother Luigi, are 24 years old. They look quite a bit older, by at least one decade. This is due to the fact they originally ''were'' middle-aged but had been aged down significantly by the mid-90s. Thus, older adaptations such as ''Series/TheSuperMarioBrosSuperShow'' and the ''Film/SuperMarioBros1993'' film presented Mario as a middle-aged man. Their clothes and mustaches help make Mario and Luigi look older than they are, though their voices and energy match their ages.
* In ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl'', the ''VideoGame/{{Mother}}'' series characters Ness and Lucas are depicted as looking much young, when they are actually supposed to be 12-13. It's justifiable in that their original in-game sprites and character models look like younger children (in Lucas' case, his sprite grows taller in the TimeSkip; as for Ness, he was intended to be around 10 to 12 years old in the Japanese version and was aged up to 13 in the America release and Earthbound guidebook), but it's still pretty funny when you see just how ''short'' they are in ''Brawl,'' especially since in their original games, they are roughly around the same height as the adult characters. It's especially evident in the Subspace Emissary scenes where Lucas and the Pokémon Trainer are traveling together. According to the ''Pokémon'' series canon, Red is 11 years old when he starts his journey and yet Lucas, who could be at least 2 years older than the Pokémon Trainer, is half his height.
*** This is also justified because characters in "Brawl" have different art styles, so it might just be the art style that makes them appear smaller than usual.
** Mega Man in the fourth installment of ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros'' looks much younger than he appears in his original games, that some players have called him ''Mega Boy.'' He is a robot modelled to be designed off a 8-year-old boy, but ''Smash 4'', desining him in the style of his original NES sprite, gives him a small height, big eyes and cherubic face, making him look more like a toddler.
* Beryl Benito in ''VideoGame/TalesOfHearts'' is the requisite [[TokenMiniMoe tiny squeaky thing]], but she's supposed to be eighteen.
* Pascal from ''VideoGame/TalesOfGraces'' is supposed to be 22 years old. Considering how she looks [[ManChild and acts]], this is pretty hard to believe. To say nothing of the 40-year-old [[CoolOldGuy Malik]].
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfDestiny2'': Judas looks to be in his late teens/early twenties, and it causes problems when he has [[spoiler: firsthand knowledge of places, people, and events he shouldn't have even been born in time to see (he was brought BackFromTheDead and displaced in time)]]. Discussed when Loni demands to know how he could possibly know what he does and be in his teens, and he brings up this trope. [[spoiler: His actual age is 34.]]
** Reala from the same game is officially, age 16, yet her design makes her look 12.
* ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'':
** TheMedic is in in his late forties or early fifties (got his medical license right after World War II, game takes place in 1968), but [[HospitalHottie you'd never know that from looking at him.]]
** As for Scout, you'd think that he is 17 to 19 years old, but the description for the Track Terrorizer outfit confirms that he's 23. By the time of the sixth issue of the comics, he's stated to be ''twenty-seven.''
* ''Franchise/{{Tekken}}'' '''loves''' this trope:
** After shaving off his 'stache in ''Tekken 6'', Marshall Law looks a fair bit younger than 48, to the point that fans speculated that could be his son Forest in disguise.
*** By that same token, Forest is 28, but looks, sounds and acts at least eight years younger.
** Lee Chaolan looks like he's in his late twenties to early thirties. He's actually 49, but it isn't really surprising to fans, since he was in the first two ''Tekken'', and the newer games take place 20 years after ''Tekken 2''. But for people new to the games, it's a bit surprising.
** The queens of this trope for this particular series have to be Nina Williams and her sister Anna. Both are 42 years old biologically, but spent the 19 years between ''2'' and ''3'' in cryogenic slumber, which explains their early 20s-ish appearance. Anna in fact put herself cryogenic sleep after learning Nina had been put under, largely because [[VanityIsFeminine she wouldn’t stand for her sister looking younger than her]].
** [[MissingMom Jun Kazama]], especially in ''Tekken Tag Tournament 2'', which came out over a full decade after the first ''Tag'' which subsequently was her last appearance. Seriously, for someone who's lived for almost 40 years now, she is glowing. And that's ''without'' cryogenic sleep. Even more jarring, she's Jin's ''mother''. She looks like she could pass off as his sister!
*** Jun finally returns in canon for ''VideoGame/Tekken8'' and despite being 44 she’s as gorgeous as ever, hell she looks ''younger'' than both her baby daddy Kazuya and son Jin. One can assume her GreenThumb power/Kazama blood plays a big part of this, beyond the “girls aren’t allowed to look old” stance of the games.
** Also in ''Tag 2'', Michelle Chang finally makes a return -- and she doesn't look much older than her daughter Julia/Jaycee. Of course, she must be pushing 50 by now. Even more jarring, she made a cameo in Julia's ''Tekken 3'' ending, where she ''did'' look it!
** Bruce Irvin is 53 as of ''Tekken 6'', but looks like he's in his late thirties.
** A more recent example from the series is Heihachi's wife, Kazumi Mishima. For someone who is 70 years old ''at the absolute least'', she doesn't look too much older than her son Kazuya (who's 49). At least Jun and Michelle had the excuse of ''Tag 2'' being non-canon. [[spoiler: This is actually subverted because Kazumi doesn't actually appear in the story outside of [[FlashBack flashbacks]] and would have been an old lady by now had Heihachi not been forced to kill her in self-defense]].
* While ''Franchise/TouhouProject'' mostly goes with Really700YearsOld characters, there are still some that fit this trope. [[DelicateAndSickly Patchouli]], for example, is "only" about a hundred (or has been living with Remilia for about a hundred years; it isn't definite), [[TheOneGuy Rinnosuke]] merely ages slowly instead of stopping aging all together, appearing identical when Marisa was a child but being laughably young by Gensoukyou standards, and [[NinjaMaid Sakuya]] appears to be somewhere in her twenties but is noted as being far too mature and worldy to be so young. Another example is [[OurFairiesAreDifferent Cirno]], who has an extremely childlike appearance, but is actually at least sixty years old, having seen (and remembered, though she failed to recall the significance of the event) a previous off-season blooming before the events of ''Phantasmagoria of Flower View'', which happens at the end of a sixty-year cycle.
* Nurse Angie in ''VideoGame/TraumaCenter'' is supposed to be 21, but the art style makes her look more like a teenager. The updated rerelease of the first game changed the art style and Angie was redrawn to look more like her age.
* Charlotte of ''VideoGame/TrialsOfMana'' looks like a toddler. She's actually 15, because [[spoiler:she's a half-elf]]. The [[HalfHumanHybrid half-beastman]] Kevin fits too, although not to the same extent as Charlotte.
* Hossabara from ''VideoGame/TriangleStrategy'' is old enough to have had a son during the Saltiron War, which was 30 years ago. This means she's likely at least in her 50s; however, she looks quite good for her age, and doesn't even have any gray hair (unlike Erador and Benedict, who were both already in service to House Wolffort at that point).
* Nina of ''VideoGame/{{Wandersong}}'' certainly ''looks'' like a little kid, and she has a slightly immature attitude about her. However, she has breasts and is apparently 19-21, according to the official Tumblr.
* Ashley from ''VideoGame/WarioWare'' is a teenager in international localizations but her age is unknown in Japan. She doesn't look anything like a teen. Her stylized art in ''Game & Wario'' has her looking more like a teenager but normally she looks 9-Volt's age.
* ''VideoGame/TheWitcher'': InAWorld where there are a ton of long-lived races (elves, for example, naturally live for thousands of years) and magic, it's only naturally that even humans often get unusually long-lived and/or [[Really700YearsOld young-looking for their age]].
** All witchers age slowly due to the mutations that make them witchers. In fact, nobody is quite sure how old Witchers can become as they usually die in battle long before they have the chance to die from age. Vesemir is possibly the oldest Witcher in existence and he can still hold his own in combat, as noted below.
** Geralt looks like a fit man in his late twenties, though by the third game the ArtShift makes him to look about forty-plus. By putting pieces of BackStory together, you can place his age at 80 at the ''youngest''. And if the Witcher in the DistantFinale of ''Literature/SeasonOfStorms'' is indeed Geralt,[[note]]The man could also be Vesemir, but Vesemir dies in the third game. Of course, the books and the games are technically [[AlternateUniverse separate continuities]], but still…[[/note]] that would make him 200+.
** Vesemir, the OldMaster of the witchers, looks like about sixty, but has a physique that makes 30-year-olds green with envy. Vesemir's age is unknown, but is implied to be ''[[Really700YearsOld pushing eighthundred!]]''
** Dandelion the Bard. As Triss so eloquently puts it: "You are 40,[[note]]In fact, by the third game Dandelion is pushing fifty.[[/note]] sound like you're 30, look like you're 20, and act like you're 10!" And she's actually quoting Dijkstra, the Dandelion's one-time SpyMaster boss, from a somewhat earlier time:
--> You are almost forty, look like almost thirty, think you're twenty, and behave like you're not even ten.
** [[TheEmperor Emhyr]], if we add all the clues from the books, should be somewhere in his sixties, but is depicted as a forty-something man in the third game.
** Human wizards routinely extend their lifespan through magic, and given that most advanced medicine in their world is their province, they also have much better health than the general population. Yennefer, for example, Is said to be 92 at the start of a saga,[[note]]Though being an elf quadroon, she'd probably have a longer than normal lifespan anyway[[/note]] and the oldest living human sorcerer (at about 1000) got a short "screentime" during the [[TheRevolutionWillNotBeCivilized Thanedd coup]], though he was already an extremely old man who was described as ready to keel over at the slightest provocation, and, naturally, didn't survive the event.
* In ''VideoGame/NeoTheWorldEndsWithYou'', Nagi looks like a high schooler or a middle schooler, and acts rather childish due to her obsession with Elegant Strategy, but is actually a university student, and the second oldest of the Wicked Twisters besides Minamimoto.
* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles'':
** ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles1'': The Nopon. Each one is a RidiculouslyCuteCritter, with a CheerfulChild attitude and YouNoTakeCandle speech pattern; this makes it incredibly hard to guess their age. While the Nopon appear throughout the series, this trope is most prevelant with the first game's Nopon party member. Riki dumbfounds the rest of the team when they discover that he's ''forty years old'', married, with several children.
** ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2'': Rex is fifteen years old but rather small for his age, so he's constantly being mistaken for ''much'' younger. Nia, who is actually about his same age, spends most of the first part of the game calling him "kid," and even yells at [[BigBad Malos]] for [[WouldHurtAChild fighting a child.]]
** ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles3'':
*** Played with. Technically, Sena is eighteen in biological years, and Mio is nineteen. Both are petite and short, easily mistaken for fourteen or fifteen. However, since most humans in this world are [[BornAsAnAdult born at ten years old]], they're technically only eight and nine.
*** There's also Ghondor, who looks even younger. She looks like she's twelve or thirteen, but she's actually eighteen. It definitely makes her [[LadySwearsALot foul mouth]] [[RuleOfFunny a lot funnier.]]
*** Nikol from ''[[VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles3FutureRedeemed Future Redeemed]]'' is biologically nineteen. He's shorter than Glimmer and has a more childish face despite being the same age as her. He looks even younger than Shulk did in ''Future Connected'', who was also the same age.
* Fairly common in ''Videogame/LikeADragon'' due to the fact that since the games typically take place during the year they're released the characters age in real time, but with very little noticeable changes to their models.
** ''[[VideoGame/Yakuza2 Yakuza Kiwami 2]]'' features appearances from characters from ''VideoGame/Yakuza0'', few of who look like they aged since the 1980s. In particular: Yuki was approximately 20 in ''0''. In ''Kiwami 2'', she is 39 -- a year older than Kiryu -- but she still looks to be in her mid-twenties ''at most''!
** Daigo looks to be about 8 during his [[{{Sidequest}} brief]] appearance in ''VideoGame/Yakuza0'', when he's really 12, and then looks more like a teenager in ''VideoGame/Yakuza2'', when he's actually about 30. He acts younger than he is both times, too, before finally maturing in later installments.
** Ryuji Goda in ''VideoGame/Yakuza2''. He's a bit of a brat throughout the game, being a fight loving little scamp that his daddy Jin can't even control, mind you he's actually 30 years old but acts like he's a decade younger. [[BurlyDetectiveSyndrome He's even dubbed "The Problem Child" in one of the objective descriptions.]] He had the [[YoungerThanTheyLook inverse problem]] in ''0'', where he was supposed to be a grade schooler but was almost as huge as he was in 2 to the point that he was mistaken for an adult in a backpack.
** Tanimura from ''Yakuza 4'' is in his late twenties, but looks like a particularly pretty high-school kid. The remastered version gives him a more [[AdaptationalUgliness rough and rugged look]] (including some facial hair) which makes him look his age.
** Series-wise, both Kiryu and Majima have aged very well despite the fact that they are currently in their mid-to-late 50s.
** ''VideoGame/LikeADragonInfiniteWealth'' has [[TheBusCameBack several characters return to the series]], most of whom look like they have barely aged in the interim. The most notable example is Kaoru Sayama, who makes her first appearance in the series since ''VideoGame/Yakuza3'''s opening 15 years ago (putting her in her 40s), and looks nearly identical to her appearance in ''VideoGame/YakuzaKiwami2'', where she was 25. The aforementioned Yuki also returns in a substory, now pushing 60, and looks no older than her early 30s – she even works the floor as a hostess for Koyuki's new cabaret club, and Kiryu's [[ButThouMust only possible reaction]] to seeing her as a hostess is "Beautiful...".
** Ichiban Kasuga is 46 by the time of ''Infinite Wealth'' but overall aside from a change in hairstyle doesn't look all that much different from his late-20s when he went to jail. Similarly, Joongi Han [[spoiler:or more specifically, his BodyDouble]] is 37 by that game but looks like a K-Pop singer (though at least part of it can be chalked up to plastic surgery).
** Bryce Fairchild in ''Infinite Wealth'' has been the Sage of Palakena for about 70 years, putting him in his 90s, but looks to be in his 60s. [[spoiler:He's also physically capable enough to be able to fight as Ichiban's FinalBoss, albeit wielding guns and backed by an army of henchman]].
