* One of [[Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's]] most infamous promos during his feud with Wrestling/VinceMcMahon came during a live broadcast of ''[[Wrestling/WWERaw WWF Monday Night Raw]]'' when Austin -- wanting revenge for being "fired" twenty-four hours earlier -- held a gun to [=McMahon=]'s head. [=McMahon=] had an "oh crap" look on his face, sure he was going to die. Then, Austin pulled the trigger ... and then it was revealed that [[BangFlagGun all that was inside the barrel was a white flag reading "BANG 3:16."]] The end result was [[VisualPun literally]] an "oh crap" ... [[BringMyBrownPants in McMahon's shirt and pants]]. (Austin then gave a "Stone Cold stunner" to [=McMahon=] for good measure afterward.)
-->'''Austin''': [=McMahon=] 3:16 says 'I just pissed my pants!'
* When Wrestling/{{WWE}}'s Wrestling/{{Kane}} is on a face run, one thing that smaller (and that'd be most folks) {{Heel}}s do is to back up, whether retreating from another face or just admiring what they did. And then [[EnemyRisingBehind they bump into an angry guy who's described as 300 pounds of pure psychopath]]. Cue Oh Crap look.
* Another fun spot. Big angry wrestler is doing something with his back turned. Another guy grabs an ImprovisedWeapon and whacks the big guy. The big guy [[NoSell stops, turns, and just looks at the other]].
* And wrestling is a major practitioner of PunchPunchPunchUhOh
* Another good one: Guy is in ring and doesn't know his opponent. Cue intro to the biggest, meanest guy (or girl) on the roster. One of the best examples occurred in July 2000 when Wrestling/ShaneMcMahon was put in a brother/sister intergender tag match with Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon. Wrestling/{{Lita}} comes out to face Stephanie (which is an additional moment for Stephanie - you can actually see her mouth "Oh, shit!" right after Lita's music hits) and Shane says it doesn't matter who he has to fight. [[Wrestling/BigShow It turns out to be the guy he put on the injured list]] [[http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xck6aa_stephanie-c-and-shane-vs-lita-and-b_sport#.URt966Uz3uw 2 months earlier.]]
* Heel manager [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain Paul Heyman]] has just delivered a bigoted speech to Wrestling/EddieGuerrero and Wrestling/ReyMysterioJr, the two resident ''luchadores'' on the WWE circuit, and outlined his "vision" for Smackdown before walking away looking quite pleased with himself, thinking he's got it made. Unfortunately for Heyman, he just ''had'' to close that little speech with [[TemptingFate "...and there's not]] ''[[ExactWords a man]] [[NoManOfWomanBorn alive]]'' [[TemptingFate who's gonna stand in my way!"]] As Heyman is walking away, the toll of a church bell is heard loud and clear and the crowd goes wild. Heyman has a disbelieving look on his face as if to say, "No way. It can't be him." Then the second gong sounds and the arena goes dark, and Heyman goes into Oh Crap mode as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KfOIr1HGtc The Undertaker, known as the Deadman by many fans, makes his entrance, ready to kick Heyman's ass]]
** In fact, The Undertaker's appearance in general is enough to create an "Oh Crap" moment. A favorite among fans is when Undertaker is knocked down and is lying motionless on the mat. His opponent will start taunting him before Undertaker will either sit up or reach up and grab his opponent by the throat. Either way, the opponent's face tells the story.
*** Wrestling/{{Kane}}, as Wrestling/TheUndertaker's {{kayfabe}} half-brother, is treated as having (to varying degrees) the same "supernatural powers", and thus uses the same style of [[NoSell no-selling]]. The opponent's reaction tends to be the same.
*** Notably, The Undertaker is just about the only person who can get this kind of reaction out of Kane, barring a few moments that most count as [[FanonDiscontinuity never happening.]]
*** Like [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M37PzM1iUQc this]]?
*** Kane himself got this look after pushing Wrestling/PaulBearer off a ladder, thinking it was just a mannequin up there.
*** One moment was during the HHH/Undertaker match at Wrestlemania 27, where after a long grueling bout, HHH tombstones The Undertaker, and he gets his shoulders up at the 2-count. HHH, one of the toughest in-ring competitors of the last two decades, literally scrambles back to the ring ropes with a horrified look on his face.
*** Summerslam 2009. Wrestling/CMPunk defeats Wrestling/JeffHardy in a Tables/Ladders/Chairs match for the World Heavyweight Championship title, and takes a moment to stand over his defeated opponent and gloat over his victory...then the infamous gong rings and the arena goes dark. When the lights come back up, Punk comes to the conclusion that nothing happened, smirks, and looks down at Jeff to continue gloating...only to find the Undertaker down there instead. He has a moment of absolute terror before a Chokeslam comes up to greet him.
** [[http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1pgza_wwe-undertaker-kane-save-lita_news Then there was the time where Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H were going to beat up Lita.]] Cue "Rollin'", a pillar of fire and Taker and Kane pulling a BigDamnHeroes moment. At the time Austin and Triple H were the top heels in the business, who seldom if ever showed fear. This time, however, they decided ScrewThisImOuttaHere.
* The audio cue of some wrestlers' entrance music will prompt the "Oh Crap" reaction from an unsuspecting opponent in the ring:
** Stone Cold Steve Austin (*glass shatters*)
*** There's a great example of this at Wrestling/{{Vengeance}} (2001) when Wrestling/ChrisJericho, who had just eked out a hard-fought (if controversial) victory against [[Wrestling/DwayneJohnson The Rock]], was being awarded the World title when the (*glass shatters*) and out comes the WWF champ Stone Cold Steve Austin for the Undisputed Championship match. See it [[https://youtu.be/Rzf-IFlGCfI?t=1311 here]].
** [[Wrestling/DwayneJohnson The Rock]] ("IF YA SMELLLLLL...")
** The aforementioned Undertaker (*GONG*)
*** Also applies to TNA's Wrestling/{{Abyss}}
*** Wrestling/RandyOrton demonstrates one of the best examples [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ctk_rC5Hcc here.]] You can see how quickly his face changes from one of celebration to one of OH SHIT OH SHIT GET ME OUT OF HERE.
** Likewise, Kane (Not so much an audio cue as a sudden EXPLOSION OF FIRE)
** Whenever a Monster Heel was on a bit of a winning streak and bragging that they have beaten just about everyone worth mentioning and they'd like to put out an open challenge to anyone in the back... Cue Wrestling/ChrisBenoit's theme.
** Every now and then, [[Wrestling/BigShow "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLL..."]]
** In Wrestling/RingOfHonor, Wrestling/SamoaJoe (the Godzilla theme), Wrestling/{{LowKi}} ("Fighter's Spirit"), or Homicide (the ''Film/KillBill'' stings)
** This is enhanced in Wrestling/{{SHIMMER}}, where scheduled match-ups often aren't announced beforehand, meaning even the most routine part of a wrestler's day can lead to this reaction.
** [[Wrestling/{{Ryback}} FEED ME...]]
** [[Wrestling/TheShield SIERRA - HOTEL - INDIA - ECHO - LIMA - DELTA]]
** ''[[Wrestling/TheWyattFamily *screech* *buzz* *hiss*]]'''''[[Wrestling/TheWyattFamily DEA-]]'''
*** '''[[HellIsThatNoise BZZZZZZZ]]''' ''[[DarknessEqualsDeath *section of the arena's lights go out*]]
** [[Wrestling/{{Boogeyman}} I'M THE BOOGEYMAN, AND I'M COMIN' TO GETCHA!]]
** ''[[Wrestling/BrockLesnar Bweaahhhh a weah a weah a weaaaahhhhhhhhhhh]]''
** For a good couple of years, '''[[Wrestling/MarkHenry WHOA-HEY WHOA-HEY WHOA-HEY WHOA-HEY...]]''' And waiting doesn't make it much better when the entrance theme has lyrics like "Somebody's gon' get their ass kicked" and repeated chants of "Beat him up! (Beat him up!) Break his neck! (Break his neck!)"
** [[Wrestling/BraunStrowman BRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWNNNNNN!!]]
** [[Wrestling/DeanAmbrose *ascending metal guitar riff*]]
** *beep* *beep* *beep* *beep* *BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP* [[Wrestling/TommasoCiampa NO ONE WILL SURVIVE!]]
** [[Wrestling/ScottSteiner *siren wails*]]
** [[Wrestling/TylerBreeze Tyler we love you!/Tyler, look over here!/Looking good, Ty!/Woah, who took that photo?/Look!]] [[Wrestling/BreezAngo LOOK EVERYONE, IT'S TYLER!]]
** Wrestling/ShaneMcMahon ("HERE COMES THE MONEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY~! HERE COMES THE MONEY!")
** Whenever a heel wrestler hears "'''''[[Wrestling/ReyMysterio BOOYAKA BOOYAKA!]]'''''" They know they will be outpaced and will make sure to eat a 619.
** [[Wrestling/CodyRhodes Wrestling has more than one...royal family!]]
* A world champion whenever a Money In The Bank winner decides to cash it in at their expense (usually ''right'' after the champion has just been through a grueling fight with someone else).
** One of the best examples is probably Wrestling/TheMiz cashing in on a beaten Randy Orton, if only because his facial expression didn't change ''at all'', but his body language pretty much screamed "Oh, you have ''got'' to be kidding me."
** Averted by Wrestling/CMPunk at Money in the Bank 2011 when Wrestling/AlbertoDelRio attempted to cash in his shot after Punk's title win over Wrestling/JohnCena, only to be knocked out by a kick to the head before the opening bell could ring, allowing Punk to escape with his title.
* An occasional instance involving two separate Oh Crap moments happens when there is a tag-team match pitting a team of one face and one heel against a team of two heels. The first Oh Crap reaction is from the face wrestler when he realizes that his heel teammate has just walked out mid-match, leaving him at the mercy of his heel opponents. After a couple minutes of the heels beating down the face, the second Oh Crap reaction happens from the heels when the entrance music of another face (often a stronger one) hits, indicating an ensuing BigDamnHeroes entrance by the second face to rescue the beatdown victim.
* Another common example is when a [[CorruptCorporateExecutive heel authority figure]] is in the ring ranting about something. After being interrupted by a face wrestler, he will threaten to immediately fire the next person that interrupts him. The Oh Crap reaction comes from the heel authority figure when the next person who interrupts him is a face authority figure who outranks him.
* [[Wrestling/ImpactWrestling TNA]] examples:
** Wrestling/JeffHardy and Wrestling/{{Fortune}} are about to beat down on [[Wrestling/KenAnderson Mr. Anderson]] when Wrestling/AJStyles suddenly stops and does Anderson's signature taunt, Fortune following along before taking out all of Hardy's allies. Jeff Hardy's face turns to dumbstruck shock.
** Wrestling/JeffJarrett challenged Amazing Red's younger brother to a MMA fight, thinking he'd be smaller than the already small Red. He turns his back to 'give him a free shot'. Red's brother won't have it and taps him on the shoulder. Jarrett's smug face suddenly turns into an Oh Crap when he realizes Red's brother is ''taller than he is and absolutely RIPPED!''
** On the 5/14/11 edition of ''Impact!'', Immortal has a perfect example of an Oh Crap when they find out that ''Wrestling/MickFoley'' is the Network Executive that's been screwing up their plans for the past few weeks.
** On the 5/9/13 episode of Impact, Wrestling/{{Aces And Eights|Wrestlers}} are on a roll, [[BigBad Bully Ray]] and [[TheDragon Devon]] are about to put Wrestling/{{Sting}} through a table with [[FinishingMove a 3D]]...when [[WrestlingMonster Abyss]] [[HesBack returns]] and [[BigDamnHeroes charges the ring]]. Bully Ray looks like he's seen a ghost and he and Devon can only stare like DeerInTheHeadlights as Abyss barrels towards them while Wrestling/{{Tazz}}'s SmugSnake mentality dissolves into a VillainousBreakdown. The only Aces & Eights member present who ''doesn't'' have this reaction is Anderson, who quickly finds out why everyone else did when [[FoeTossingCharge Abyss just runs right over him without even stopping.]]
** [[Wrestling/TheDudleyBoys Bully Ray]] had this reaction when Mr. Anderson returned on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge after being put in the hospital by himself and Gunner. It wasn't just that he was back that scared him, though. It was that Anderson, one of the [[LargeHam largest hams in pro wrestling]], was in TranquilFury as he just brutally beat the ''other'' guy who put him out into a bloody pulp with a metal chain ''right in front of Ray'' and Bully Ray realized he was probably next.
* The expression on Wrestling/RicFlair's face [[http://youtu.be/bXrZ0QaIf7M?t=1m39s here]] And at about 2:10 or so in [[http://youtu.be/EZ0oUiRpCuE?t=2m11s this video.]]
* The lead-in to WWE's 2000 Royal Rumble. Wrestling/TripleH had been brutalizing and antagonizing [[Wrestling/MickFoley Mankind]] for several weeks, and a few days before, had beaten him bloody. Cue Mankind coming out to inform Triple H that he is not ready to face him in a Street Fight at the event. However...
--> '''Mick Foley''': "But I think the fans deserve a substitute in that match. [[ContinuityNod I think ya know the guy...]]" (removes mask, rips off shirt to reveal a different one) "I think you know him pretty damn well! [[BewareTheNiceOnes His name... is CACTUS JACK!]]"
--> '''Triple H''': (Pulls a classic Oh Crap face)
* On the 4/11/11 edition of Raw, Wrestling/MichaelCole gets a rather perfect one after Wrestling/JerryLawler defeated Wrestling/JackSwagger, meaning he has no choice but to face Jerry at Extreme Rules in a match of the King's choosing. This became pretty much his default expression the rest of the night.
** [[FromBadToWorse And not just that, either.]] Turns out it's a tag team match, and his partner is Jack Swagger. Normally this would be okay, ''but'' this was mere moments after he slapped Jack in the face and blamed him for the loss.
** And again when he realized that Jack won't be in his corner vs The King at ''Over The Limit''.
*** It started a little bit earlier when he realized he'd fallen hook, line, and sinker for Lawler's BatmanGambit, pretty much making Swagger so outright ''furious'' with Cole, Swagger says [[DoWithHimAsYouWill "He's all yours"]] to Jerry and walks out on Cole.
* Pretty much the reaction of the entire Divas locker room to [[Wrestling/KiaStevens Kharma]]. [[https://youtu.be/4mWNBuXp4cM?t=53 Also Michael Cole's during the Royal Rumble.]]
* The Undertaker had a very real-life moment of Oh Crap when, during a Hell In A Cell match, Mankind fell through the roof of the cage. Wrestling/TheUndertaker thought that he'd seriously injured his fellow wrestler.
* An almost-legendary Oh Crap moment came during the 1997 Royal Rumble, as Stone Cold Steve Austin ran roughshod over his competition and was left all alone in the ring. The countdown for the next Rumble entrant finishes, and a familiar [[Wrestling/BretHart guitar screech]] [[http://youtu.be/Ec_UN5vD_Vo?t=47s causes Austin to freeze cold in his tracks.]]
* On Raw 6/18/12, Wrestling/AJLee interrupts a match featuring Wrestling/DanielBryan and Wrestling/{{Kane}}. Not only was Kane surprised, so was Daniel Bryan, who wasn't aware that Wrestling/CMPunk and Wrestling/{{Sheamus}} were also surprised just like the announcers, which cost Bryan and Kane the match since Punk sees a chance and takes it.
* During the Smackdown Elimination Chamber 2012 match, [[Wrestling/BryanDanielson Daniel Bryan]] had yet to leave the pod and Wrestling/BigShow decided the best course of action to get his hands on him was to ''break into the pod from above!'' Bryan's facial expression went from smug to pure terror. And there was a minute or so before the pod would open.
* Wrestling/BookerT
** In his match with Wrestling/{{Rikishi}}, who's known for his "Stinkface" where, upon downing an opponent in the corner, he would smother their face with his enormous posterior. The look on Booker's face is utterly priceless. As a matter of fact, a lot of superstars got this feeling when they knew what was about to hit them... in the face.
** Also, Booker's reaction to that [[MemeticMutation infamous promo]]. Right after he says [[NWordPrivileges the word]] in the heat of his promo, he realizes what he's done and gives himself a FacePalm as if to say "Tell me, I didn't just say that."
* At Extreme Rules 2012, The Big Show and Wrestling/CodyRhodes were in a tables match (you can only win by putting your opponent through a table). Big Show was on the apron getting into the ring when Cody dropkicked him, making Show lose his balance and step through the table with one of his legs. Show reacted this way when he realized what had happened, as the ref saw it, called for the bell and gave the victory to Cody.
* When Wrestling/TheShield interrupted a match to attack Wrestling/{{Sheamus}} and Wrestling/RandyOrton, Wrestling/RomanReigns accidentally knocked The Big Show into the corner-- and promptly got [[OneHitKill knocked out]] by the giant. The reactions of Wrestling/DeanAmbrose and Wrestling/SethRollins suggested they just realized they pissed off the wrong guy.
* After Wrestling/TheShield called out Wrestling/JohnCena, Wrestling/{{Sheamus}}, and Wrestling/{{Ryback}}, they attempt to escape only to be stopped by Wrestling/ZackRyder, Wrestling/KofiKingston, Wrestling/SantinoMarella, Wrestling/BrodusClay, [[Wrestling/BryanDanielson Team]] [[{{Wrestling/Kane}} Hell No]], and Wrestling/RandyOrton, [[http://youtu.be/cNFbo_r8irM as this footage shows]]
* The main event of the September 23, 2013 Raw with Wrestling/TheShield facing Wrestling/DolphZiggler, [[Wrestling/RonKillings R-Truth]], Wrestling/KofiKingston, the Usos, the Wrestling/PrimeTimePlayers, Wrestling/JustinGabriel, Wrestling/RobVanDam, Wrestling/ZackRyder, and Wrestling/DanielBryan in an 11-on-3 elimination handicap match. First, after Roman Reigns singlehandedly eliminates several of the opponents, Ambrose & Rollins are knocked off the apron & promptly have this reaction when Reigns is eliminated in the meantime. Then towards the end of the match, Rollins manages to eliminate R-Truth, and realizes he's not only the last man left on his team, but that Bryan, Ziggler & the Usos have positioned themselves on all four sides of the ring, surrounding him.
* Raw 11/11/2013, Wrestling/TheWyattFamily interrupted a match with Wrestling/CMPunk and [[Wrestling/BryanDanielson Daniel Bryan]] dealing with Wrestling/TheShield, which led to Punk & Bryan playing the two factions off one another so they started brawling whilst they watched with amusement from the outside. Unfortunately, they didn't count on Bray Wyatt figuring out what they were doing and pointing the other 5 men back in the direction of Punk and Bryan; even Wrestling/JerryLawler knew [[ThisIsGonnaSuck what was about to happen]].
* In his first match (with Austin Idol) against Wrestling/TheRoadWarriors in Memphis, Wrestling/JerryLawler delivered his [[FinishingMove piledriver]] to Hawk and jumped up to celebrate. When he turned back, Hawk [[NoSell was standing right behind him]].
* On Raw, March 30, 2015, the day after Wrestling/WrestleMania 31, Wrestling/SethRollins {{Smug|Snake}}ly declines to give former champion Wrestling/BrockLesnar his rematch, citing jet lag and a sore foot. Lesnar, being [[BloodKnight Lesnar]], goes on the attack and German suplexes Rollins-- who lands on his feet, then immediately kicks Lesnar in the head. When Lesnar [[NoSell immediately pops back up]] and [[DeathGlare glares at him]], Rollins immediately realizes he's screwed up and [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere runs away]], leaving Lesnar to destroy the announce table and attack everyone in sight.
* During ACH and Adam Cole's match at ''[[Wrestling/RingOfHonor Supercard Of Honor X]]'' Cole collides with the barricade, leading fans to go wild for ACH and start chanting "Over here!"
-->'''Kevin Kelly''':"'Over here' means behind us. No, NO!"
* The 2001 Wrestling/RoyalRumble had two of them:
** Creator/DrewCarey enters the event, and is alone in the ring due to the Hardy Boyz eliminating each other. Just as Jim Ross hopes that the next entrant will "take it easy on him", Kane comes out, resulting in an Oh Crap moment for both Carey and Ross.
** Later on, Kane and the Undertaker reunite, clearing the ring. The next entry is Scotty 2 Hotty, who comes out to find the Brothers of Destruction calmly waiting for him in the ring. JR urges him to just leave, as Scotty's face tells us that ThisIsGonnaSuck.
* On the October 13, 2008 edition of RAW, [[Wrestling/JohnBradshawLayfield JBL]] sported this look after he boasted that he was a real American and then Wrestling/HulkHogan's music started playing... until he realized it was just [[Wrestling/TheWorldsGreatestTagTeam Charlie Haas]] cosplaying as Hogan.
* The 2016 Wrestling/RoyalRumble had Wrestling/RomanReigns have this reaction twice:
** The first time is when he waits for the #3 entrant to enter... and [[spoiler:Wrestling/AJStyles]] comes out. [[UnexpectedCharacter You can tell he was just about the last person Reigns expected to see]].
** The second time is when #30 enters, and out comes [[spoiler:Wrestling/TripleH]], who hadn't been seen on WWE TV since Reigns attacked him back in December.
* On [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQyi3HGf2eY the September 11, 2017 episode of Raw]], Universal Champion Wrestling/BrockLesnar [[TemptingFate called out his challenger]] Wrestling/BraunStrowman. They came to blows, and Lesnar hurled Strowman overhead with a [[SignatureMove German Suplex]], only for Strowman to [[NoSell pop right back to his feet]] and [[DeathGlare stare down Lesnar.]] Lesnar's stunned reaction was a clear depiction of this trope.
* On [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TP1zVBdosw October 9, 2017's Raw]], Wrestling/TheMiz held an awards ceremony to brag up himself and Wrestling/TheBar, only to be interrupted by Wrestling/RomanReigns. Miz [[TooDumbtoLive trash-talked him]], claiming the rumors of a [[Wrestling/TheShield Shield]] reunion were "nothing but hype." Reigns' response? "Who said anything about rumors?" He was then joined on stage by Wrestling/DeanAmbrose and Wrestling/SethRollins, prompting Miz to have a quiet OhCrap reaction. He quickly powdered out of the ring as the Shield beat up The Bar and Miz's crony Wrestling/CurtisAxel, only to have ''another'' OhCrap reaction as the Shield turned their attention to ''him.'' A minute or so later, he's eaten a Dirty Deeds from Ambrose and then gets hit with the Shield's trademark triple-powerbomb. The Shield provokes an OhCrap reaction for a reason.
