The video may me LightmareFuel at first, but it takes concept of death by spoon and actually makes it seem creepy. If that doesn't do it, try the GroinAttack entry on for size.
----
* The intro to the video presents different ways of being killed and how long they are: you see a man getting shot and the narrator saying it only took some seconds; then you see a woman being strangled and the narrator saying she died after some ''minutes''; after that, you see a man tied to a chair and beaten up and the narrator says his murder took '''hours'''.
* To break the curse, Jack goes to Japan and meets an old mystic: she looks like she's been beaten several times, one of her eyes is blank, and the news she gives are not good at all:
--> "[[FailureIsTheOnlyOption Nothing can stop the Ginosaji]]. The Ginosaji will never stop, ''until you are dead''."
** Getting beaten up with a spoon may be funny, but getting beaten up with a spoon every single minute of your entire life... It's like Chinese water torture taken up to eleven.
*** The Ginosaji even [[BungledSuicide interrupts Jack's attempt to shoot himself]], wanting to prolong the kill.
** Jack's increasingly injured body over the course of the film sells this quite nicely. He's not just getting hit with a spoon, he's getting ''pulped''.
** At one point, there's a close-up on him getting a tooth knocked out. ''Aagh.''
* The Save Jack option, wear protective clothing, where the Ginosaji actually realizes that it’s more effective torture to ''hit the helmet that Jack decided to wear'' [[CruelMercy than to hit him]]. Jack's reaction in the end is just torturous...
* What Jack goes through in "Ginosaji VS Ginosaji" is just horrible: crushed by a bus, nearly asphyxicated to death, (day)dreaming [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking about little squirrels]], among others.
* The Ginosaji himself looks creepy, and — if it wasn't for the spoon — would look like he had been ripped straight out of an extremely good low-budget horror film.
** The way the Ginosaji walks is just downright disturbing because it greatly contributes to his HumanoidAbomination appearance.
** When Jack manages to stab him in the throat, he tears the knife out to reveal black blood.
** And if you kick him in the crotch, he spills out ''worms'', which may also imply that [[TheWormThatWalks his real body is made of worms]].
