4	* Surgery scenes from this show may count as potential NightmareFuel for those bothered by {{Squick}}.
5	** And not only that but depending on how prone you are the overall amoral nature of most of the characters it can be quite horrifying to see what they'll do.
6	* In Season 3, every single scene involving the Carver (photo), whose pattern involves carving {{Glasgow Grin}}s on the faces of his victims, and on top of that, he’s a serial rapist.
7	* There's also the way Colleen Rose killed a rival talent agent. She jammed the hose for a teddy bear-stuffing machine down his throat and flicked it on, then finished her new creation by [[EyeScream pinning two button eyes onto his]]. Not to mention the close-up of the victim's still-horrified, lifeless face, with those black eyes, blood tricking down his cheeks like tears. And later, when his body is found. Horrifying flashbacks of the actual murder ensue for the audience. The person who finds the body has the same reaction as the audience.
8	* When Matt beats up the innocent trans woman Cherry Peck. This scene is particularly horrifying to LGBT people who've faced violence.
9	* The whole scene in which Matt and Cherry were held hostage in that scary white supremacist guy's basement. Something about the way Cherry flinched in fear when she is threatened is too realistic for comfort.
10	* Teddy Rowe. A twisted murderess with multiple identities who specializes in marrying doctors and then killing them for the life insurance. She does it to Sean and is planning to murder not just him but also ''his kids'' on a trip and make it look like an accident. The way she's so charming and quirky ready for her murder and already planning her next mark on her "honeymoon" is chilling.
11	** Even wilder? Before she can pull off her kill, Teddy runs into a drifter...who's a serial killer himself who literally chops her to pieces. When he's arrested, Sean confronts the man only to be rocked as he relates Teddy's confession to her plans to murder Sean and realizes he's been living with a stone-cold sociopath all this time.
12	* The man singing as his leg had to be amputated after the plane crash.
13	* The man who had the compulsive need to mutilate his face.
14	* The man with a compulsive need to ''cut his own leg off''. There's a scene where he explains his project to freeze it so it will easily break off...
15	* When Matt and his friend nearly killed that girl after they decided to get high and drive around.
16	* At the beginning of season 3, when Matt found the rotten corpse of Adrian.
17	* In the episode "Rhea Reynolds", the titular patient is conscious during her surgery, can feel all of the pain, and screams and begs for the doctors to stop in voice-over. It doesn't help that this has happened in RealLife. It gets even worse with the revelation that [[spoiler: Quentin, the Carver]] tampered with the anesthesia so as to punish her for faking a Carver attack. It's horrifying enough that this happens by accident, even worse that a doctor could be sadistic enough to deliberately do it.
18	* Troy's attempt to reset his nose himself.
