While new suspects are presented such as Warren Mears, when Veronica's attempt to retrace her steps that night leads to the discovery that at one point she was alone with Oz, her immediate reaction is that not only can Veronica be sure that Oz would never have raped her, but he's such a good guy that he would have done his best to protect her from anyone who did attempt it; Veronica even muses that the only other person in ''Buffy'' who's less likely to rape someone than Oz is Tara.
37	* ''Fanfic/NotTheIntendedUseZantetsukenReverse'': While there aren't really any ''bad'' guys in the fic, Leon Belmont the 1000 year old ghost of a Franc Crusader is the nicest person in the cast. He is completely devoted to his late fiance and first love Sara, tried his best to respect the wishes of his two following wives, was very close to all his grandchildren and likewise continues to love all his descendants, tries to use his abilities to do stuff like opening doors or do the chores simply because it's the nice thing to do and he feels like doing it, and even when he's trying to ditch someone he feels bad for doing it even if it's necessary. He even holds no ill feelings towards his old friend Matthias who turned into Dracula, and is a CoolUncle to Dracula's son Alucard. However, that's not to say he is without flaws: one of his two divorces was caused entirely because of his UndyingLoyalty to Sara, meaning that his living wives were CompetingWithACorpse, and his monster-slaying lifestyle was quite a strain to his family and finances. In addition, since he is a very social person by nature, the fact that he can't actually interact with anyone took quite the mental toll on him, even if he hides it.

That's probably why she's slowly falling in love with him.

Not once so far has he done anything remotely jerk-like. In fact, when he encounters a real jerk, one who's doing illegal things and bullying his friends, what does he do? Does he yell? Physically fight her? Drive her out of town? Turn his nose up and ignore her? Nope. What he DOES do is call the hospital when she [[BadLiar (supposedly)]] gets hurt, comfort a friend whom she picked on, and informs the authorities of the illegal aspects of the whole business. All without even casting a nasty look at the bully.

While he forces Edmure to help him search for Jeyne Westerling because of the possibility of her carrying Robb's child, he doesn't do it so that he can kill the child himself, maintaining the Boltons' control over the north, but so that she could be returned to her family and raise the child themselves [[spoiler:and possibly use it to bring the North back into genuine peace.]] When he does meet up with her, [[spoiler:he doesn't even seem to care at all about the baby's crippled condition, and stands up for her when she receives a cold reception amongst the Northmen at White Harbour, assuring Jeyne that her son will grow up to become a good lad.]]
