* AdaptationalHeroism:
** Ryo Asuka in this continuity. In his original incarnation Manga/Devilman, Manga/DevilmanLady, and Manga/ViolenceJack, he is literally . In this, he wants to avenge his grandfather who was torn by Jun's grandmother. Realizing her kind heart, he warns her of her mother sending other men after her.
** Maki is much more meek and gentle (and looks more feminine) in the OVA than in the manga.
* AdaptationDyeJob: Jun is blonde in the manga. In the anime she has naturally black hair, but wears a blonde wig in the first part.
* AmazonianBeauty: Jun is strong and muscular, but in a way that only makes her look more beautiful. Oonami is moved to tears when he gets a proper look at her naked body, telling her she's like the goddess Athena.
* AnimalMotifs: When Mrs. Asuka comes back from her travels to quash Jun's rebellion, the author metaphorically represents her arrival as a terrible giant reptile stomping into the mansion.
* ArrangedMarriage: The OVA begins with Jun fleeing her family's compound when she discovers she's been placed into one of these -- and she has to fight everyone her mother sends to bring her back.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Jun is a very sweet and friendly girl towards anyone who treats her with respect, but those who try to either coerce her or hurt Oonami are in for a world of pain.
* Bifauxnen: Jun's aunt Maki looks more like an elegant man when first introduced, hence Oonami's initial confusion.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: In the OVA, Jun's mother is gradually brainwashed and eventually possessed by her mother's spirit. It's all but directly said that the older woman was influencing Jun's mother from the beginning, being responsible for Jun getting forced into finding a husband when she turned 18 despite Jun swearing her parents previously promised she wouldn't have to. It's also implied Mrs. Asuka's progressively ugly appearance was also the result of her mother's possession. The end credits briefly shows her free from the possession and asleep, looking far less ugly than she did in the entire OVA.
* BreastAttack: Jun grabs her fearsome mother by the breasts and uses them to swing her around hammer-throw style, causing much pain in the process.
* ChainmailBikini: Jun is depicted on the cover wearing a helmet, a breastplate with boob definition that doesn't cover most of the abdomen, and nothing else besides a thong. Nowhere in the manga does she actually wear this outfit.
* CoversAlwaysLie: Sorry if the cover got your hopes up, but Jun does not actually wear sexy armor or fight with a sword and shield.
* EarnYourHappyEnding: After a series of difficult struggles, Jun and Oonami become a couple and decide to face their future together.
* Fanservice: Jun is quite easy on the eyes.
* FanDisservice: Mrs. Asuka, who looks like a rampaging gorilla, strips down to her underwear to engage Jun in physical combat. Merciful God in Heaven, why?!
* JabbaTableManners: Mrs. Asuka. Good grief, woman. Chew your food!
* HenpeckedHusband: Mr. Asuka, meek little man that he is, can't do much to directly stand up to his enormous wife's tyranny over their daughter. Nevertheless, he manages to help Jun by shooting some arrows in his wife's rump at an opportune moment, and by subsequently showing up in disguise to rescue Jun from Maki's trap.
%%* HotbloodedSideburns
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: In the manga, Jun has grown up having servants to help her with even the most private functions of her daily life, so she doesn't understand what Oonami's so embarassed about when she asks him to help her use the toilet while she's chained to the bed, and later to help her shower.
* PornWithPlot: Only in the Manga. Averted in the Anime, despite some BlackComedy with Jun's mother sending a QuirkyMinibossSquad to deflower her by force.
* PottyEmergency: After Oonami feeds Jun and plays guitar for her while she's chained to the bed, she announces that she's got to pee. Oonami finds that provisions have been made for this, in the form of a toilet on wheels and a special unfastening mechanism in Jun's sweatpants, but since he agonizes over the problem of how to do it without looking at her privates, Jun has to beg him to hurry before she can't hold it any more. It works out just in the nick of time.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Jun despises any number of selfish or entitled men who try to take her by force, no matter how strong or how rich they are. In stark contrast, she falls in love with Oonami because he's a gentle and loyal partner who would do anything for the sake of her happiness.
* TheirFirstTime: Jun and Oonami finally admit their feelings for each other and consummate in the final chapter.
* TitleDrop: When Jun breaks out of her chains and lifts Mouta Nandou over her head—declaring that all the training she did was to protect her virginity from despicable cowards like him—Oonami exclaims that she’s an iron virgin.
* UglyGuysHotDaughter: Jun is hot, even though her mother Mrs. Asuka is hideous; some scenes in the OVA indicate that Mrs. Asuka IWasQuiteALooker used to be more attractive, but in the main story she's more akin to an Ogre or an Oni. Makes you wonder if Jun was actually adopted instead.
