->''"Sure, women like me swoon for a hero, but that's only because deep down, we think we can change them."''
-->-- '''Sabine''', ''Webcomic/TheOrderOfTheStick''

The Evil Empress wants a consort for her domain. Unfortunately, none of her male subjects are quite up to her standards. So what does she do? [[DistressedDude Kidnap the hero, of course.]] Once he sees [[MsFanservice how hot she is]], and how [[WeCanRuleTogether they can rule together]], he'll fall into her arms.

Unfortunately for the villainess, this never seems to work out. Occasionally, the hero will be forced to play along temporarily, but in the end, he will always escape the villainess' clutches and leave her all alone and lonely...until the next time she manages to finagle him into her arms.

The villainess in question is often TheVamp and/or DaddysLittleVillain. If the villainess is more interested in having a male SexSlave rather than a consort, the next step is always a GenderFlip of IHaveYouNowMyPretty. However, this trope can sometimes result in a SexFaceTurn...

A SubTrope of VillainousCrush. A SisterTrope to DatingCatwoman (if the hero actually returns her affections), AllAmazonsWantHercules, SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan, and ILoveYouBecauseICantControlYou. The alignment-flipped SisterTrope of AllGirlsWantBadBoys.

Contrast with MadScientistsBeautifulDaughter, since the villain is unwilling to renounce her evil ways to woo the hero.

[[folder:Anime & Manga]]
* [[TheDragon Esdeath]] from ''Manga/AkameGaKill'' is madly in love with [[TheHero Tatsumi]]. This all began when Esdeath decided to host a special tournament to find [[HasAType an innocent young man (younger than her) who had a pure smile]]. Tatsumi ended up winning the tournament, and she fell head-over-heels for him because he fit all her requirements. But Tatsumi didn't return the affection, mostly due to being [[IncorruptiblePurePureness incorruptibly pure]], where Esdeath is a SocialDarwinist who has no sympathy for anyone who isn't strong enough to survive. [[spoiler: Esdeath tries her best to win Tatsumi over, but when Tatsumi actually ends up in a relationship with [[{{Tsundere}} Mine]], he decides to declare to her face that he's fallen in love with someone else. Eventually, Esdeath gives up on trying to woo him and decides to kill him herself, deciding [[IfICantHaveYou that if she can't have him, no one can]]. She fails to kill Tatsumi in the end, and when she is finally killed by Akame, her one regret is that she could never make Tatsumi smile.]]
* From ''Literature/{{Anpanman}}'', Dokinchan, Baikinman's second-in-command, has a (very large and very obvious) crush on Shokupanman, one of the members of the breadheaded superhero team. He's a bit too conceited to notice her crush, though he treats her with a level of kindness that he doesn't show any of the other villains...besides Dokinchan's little sister, Kokinchan, who ALSO has a crush on Shokupanman (though hers is a bit more of a childish one, and she's treated as less of a villain by most of the cast).
* ''Manga/{{Berserk}}'':
** While Slan of the Godhand is probably incapable of feeling real love (being a GodOfEvil and all), she does want to make Guts her personal sex-toy and got genuinely pissy when Skull Knight interrupted her. Unlike most examples, this is not played for humor, fanservice, or as a redeeming quality, as she tries to ''rape him'' at one point, with DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale fully averted.
** Similarly, the unnamed female Apostle from the first chapter was greatly enjoying having sex with Guts and attempted to eat him before Guts took her OutWithABang.
* Gender-inverted in ''Manga/CodenameSailorV'': In the end, it's revealed that the BigBad Danburite a.k.a. [[spoiler: Ace]] is in love with Sailor V since their previous lives. Even the eventual failure of this is unusual: [[spoiler:she ''does'' fall for him, but everything he did was to get Minako to fully awaken as Sailor Venus and make her realize she'd always choose duty over everything by ''having her kill him'']].
* In ''Manga/DGrayMan'', Road, the Noah of Dreams, has a thing for Allen Walker, though pretty much [[ChickMagnet everyone does.]] However, this infatuation seems to be a source of CharacterDevelopment for her as she becomes nicer to Allen, though ''only'' to him.
* ''Franchise/DragonBall'':
** Bad Blonde Launch as seen in the [[Manga/DragonBall original series]] is very infatuated with Tien, in Launch's anime-only DBZ appearance she robbed a bank to buy food for Tien and set up a house for them. Blonde Launch is quite upset that he isn't interested in being a OutlawCouple with her.
** The Snake Princess from {{Filler}} is attracted to Goku and gets a LuminescentBlush seeing him naked, she isn't even deterred learning he's HappilyMarried saying the purest hearts are delicious. [[spoiler: Then she turns into a huge snake and tries to eat him]].
** Android 18 towards Krillin during ''Anime/DragonBallZ'', played with in that her love for him [[LoveRedeems redeems]] her to the Z-Fighters.
** Zangya from ''Anime/DragonBallZBojackUnbound'' is flirtatious with Krillin and in the ''VideoGame/DragonBallZBudokaiTenkaichi'' she says finds him cute, much to 18's ire.
** Hop from ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'' is attracted to Vegeta saying how much she will enjoy scratching his "handsome face".
* A complicated but ultimately subverted example in ''Manga/FairyTail100YearsQuest''. When the White Mage Touka, a member of the BigBadEnsemble, is first introduced joining Fairy Tail, she proclaims that she wants to be with [[TheHero Natsu Dragneel]] [[RescueRomance after he saved her a few years ago]], and even after her true nature is revealed she still shows that crush. But during the Wood Dragon God arc, it's revealed that [[spoiler:one, the "Natsu" that Touka was referring to is actually ''Happy'' thanks to [[MistakedForBadass believing he was a powerful dragon-rider who saved her rather than the real Natsu]] and [[AccidentalMisnaming mistaking his name to be Natsu]], and two, [[SharingABody Touka and the White Mage, or rather Faris, are two individuals sharing a body after the latter possesses the former]], with Touka (the one that actually has a crush on Happy) being her HelplessGoodSide [[CatsAreMagic Exceed]] self]]. Additionally, it turns out [[spoiler:that not only does Fairs ''not'' have a crush on Natsu, she's really a WellIntentionedExtremist desperate to save her homeworld of Elentear from the Dragon God Selene and ultimately performs a HeelFaceTurn]].
* Both Middler and Mariah express interest in the heroes (Jotaro and Joseph, respectively) in part 3 of ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure''. Both [=JoJos=] try to use this to their advantage ([[ComicallySerious with much embarrassment in Jotaro's case]]), but to no avail. As Mariah points out, there's no point in turning traitor for the handsome hero when the villain you work for is [[VampiresAreSexGods Dio Brando]].
* Gender-inverted in ''Anime/GoLion'' with Sincline's desire for Fala (who resembles his mother). Up to 10 in ''Anime/{{Voltron}}'' with Lotor desiring Allura.
* Love After World Domination has this as it's premise. Reaper Princess definitely wants Red Gelato and the feeling is mutual.
* The FillerVillain Fuuka from ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' flirts heavily with Naruto upon meeting him, offering to share a kiss with him, calling him [[TermsOfEndangerment several pet names]], and using tons of {{Double Entendre}}s even as the two of them fight. However, it turns out to be subverted. Instead of actually being in love with him, she just wants to [[KissOfDeath kiss him to drain him of his chakra and kill him]], and her flirting is just a way of [[HoneyTrap luring her victims in]]. It later also serves to emphasize her more sadistic side, at one point telling Naruto after finally capturing him that the two of them should forgive and forget and share a "nice hot kiss" to make up, before immediately saying that [[YourSoulIsMine she'll take his soul as payment for the kiss]] and violently grabbing him to stop him from struggling against her. She also forces a mock romantic HeldGaze between them before [[ForcefulKiss forcing a kiss on him]], [[VillainousFaceHold holding him by his face and chin]] to force him to look her in the eyes as [[NoSenseOfPersonalSpace she cuddles with him]], acting out a seemingly romantic moment with him and pretending the two of them are lovers out on a romantic date together, knowing that he is helpless to do anything to resist her.
* In ''Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica'', [[ImprobablyFemaleCast in some circumstances]] villainesses want heroines as well:
** While [[LesYay its exact nature is to be discussed]], Kyoko, the closest person had for a villain at the time, definitely had a thing for female KnightInShiningArmor wannabe Sayaka, and the latter's heroism and HonorBeforeReason tendencies seemed to play a big part in it.
** This goes double for [[spoiler: Homura's [[SuperpoweredEvilSide witch/demon self]]]] from [[Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagicaTheMovieRebellion Rebellion]], who wants to [[spoiler: keep [[TheHero Madoka]] trapped inside a LotusEaterMachine in a [[{{Yandere}} misguided]] attempt to "protect" her.]]
* ''Manga/OnePiece'':
** Alvida becomes infatuated with Luffy after he sends her flying, saying in sadomasochistic tone that no man has ever struck her like that before. She even stalks him to Logue Town before she gives up the chase.
** Porche the female member of Foxy's QuirkyMiniBossSquad is attracted to Sanji, and [[https://media1.tenor.com/images/08a5bafddc635158a95b221d611f5eb4/tenor.gif?itemid=11279294 even gives him a kiss]] when he saves her from falling.
** Kyuin the {{Gonk}} boss of the SMILE factory falls for Franky after he gives her a ShutUpKiss.
** Played with [[spoiler: in regard to Pudding and Sanji. She thinks he's pathetic at first and has no qualms about killing him, but when Sanji compliments TheThirdEye she has, Pudding suffers a VillainousBSOD and [[SplitPersonality alternates]] between being in love with Sanji and trying to kill him. In the end, her attraction to him [[LoveRedeems brings out the good in her]], though she deems herself unworthy of his affections and gives him FalseMemories so he won't remember her love for him]].
* ''Franchise/SailorMoon'':
** [[Manga/SailorMoon Manga]]/[[Anime/SailorMoonCrystal Crystal]]
*** Queen Beryl started it all with her crush on Mamoru, but it's played with. She's only interested in him because he's the reincarnation of the man she loved, Endymion (this love carried over from her past life where she had an unrequited love for him). Prior to finding this out, she had no interest and was planning on having Mamoru killed. Her love does seem to be genuine ([[LoveMakesYouEvil though Metaria has probably warped it]]) and it can be assumed she was planning on making him her consort when she ruled the world.
*** Black Lady is the Electra complex version of this trope; she only becomes interested in Mamoru because he reminds her of her father. Of course, it's later revealed that he ''is'' her father: a younger him before he became King Endymion.
*** Nehelenia lusts over two guys at once. First she kidnaps Helios (who appears to be about 12), curses him, and locks him in a cage. Played with later on as she's disintegrating; it's implied she felt [[EntitledToHaveYou entitled to have]] Mamoru since he's the reincarnation of Endymion and she felt herself to be the proper ruler of the Moon Kingdom (thus the queen of the moon should be married to the prince of Earth).
*** Galaxia plays with this. Though she brings Mamoru back to life as a zombie and has him kiss her lips, chest, and feet, she has neither romantic nor sexual interest in him; it's just to psychologically torture Sailor Moon.
** [[Anime/SailorMoon 90s anime]]
*** Poor, poor Mamoru Chiba. The tendency for villainesses to fall for him and/or kidnap him was flanderized. Queen Beryl's love of Endymion and jealousy of Serenity was the only thing kept from the manga; her backstory was otherwise heavily changed, making her seem even more obsessed with him and was a victim of LoveMakesYouDumb concerning his brainwashed self. Downplayed with Black Lady (though the kiss between them was portrayed as straight-up romantic even if it wasn't real). Nehelenia kidnaps Mamoru and treats him like an object, though it's unclear why she does this. Her lust for Helios also seemed to be slightly increased. Anime-original examples:
*** FillerVillain En in the second season gains a crush on Mamoru and becomes a ClingyJealousGirl to both him and her brother. Her love for Mamoru is part of the reason why she hates Usagi.
*** Esmeraude once mentions how handsome Tuxedo Mask is. [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere His response is to nope away]].
*** Mimete briefly crushes on Mamoru. Ironically he was kidnapped by Kaolinite earlier in the season, but with no romantic or sexual undertones.
* ''Anime/{{Yatterman}}'' started off the trend of ''Anime/TimeBokan'' leaders having crushes on the boy on the hero team, with Doronjo being very attracted to Yatterman-1/Gan Takada. Her descendant Leopard in ''Anime/YattermanNight'' likewise has a PrecociousCrush on Gatchan, but this is a case of invoking since Leopard is the hero of the story and only becomes a villain after she lets Gatchan and Aloutette take credit for saving the world under the Yatterman name.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Books]]
* ''ComicBook/{{Batman}}'': Depending on the continuity, all the {{Femme Fatale}}s of Gotham want Characters/{{Batman|TheCharacter}}... or they want him dead if he won't be their boy toy.
** Especially Characters/{{Catwoman|SelinaKyle}}, who is the TropeNamer for DatingCatwoman.
** [[Characters/BatmanPoisonIvy Poison Ivy]] is attracted to Batman and finds him fascinating as one male whose will is strong enough to resist her [[LivingAphrodisiac allure]]. In Creator/NeilGaiman's version of her origin, she was obsessed with Batman from the start.
** [[Characters/BatmanTaliaAlGhul Talia al Ghul]] takes the cake, on one instance trying to utterly destroy Batman, kill his "family" and ruin everything he'd ever worked for... because he wasn't paying attention to her.
** The only exception is Characters/{{Harley Quinn|TheCharacter}}, for [[MadLove obvious reasons]], though even she took a shot at Bruce in a Valentine special.
* ''ComicBook/CaptainAtom'': Plastique to Captain Atom. They even briefly married.
* ''ComicBook/TheFurtherAdventuresOfIndianaJones'': In issue #15, smitten PirateGirl Esmeralda Vasquez offers Dr. Jones the opportunity to join her crew of RuthlessModernPirates. When he declines her offer, she becomes a WomanScorned and has him subjected to a SandNecktie.
* ''ComicBook/GreenArrow'': Cupid really, ''[[StalkerWithACrush really]]'' likes Green Arrow.

* ''ComicBook/TheIncredibleHulk'': [[Comicbook/DoctorStrange Umar]] to [[Characters/MarvelComicsBruceBanner the Hulk]] in one notable Giffen / [=DeMatteis=] [[ComicBook/TheDefenders Defenders]] miniseries. In this case Hulk... enjoyed himself so much that not only did he revert to puny Banner, but ''Umar couldn't torture Banner into turning back''. Later, in ''ComicBook/TheIncredibleHulks'', she appears to scoop up an out-of-control Hulk, super-charged by a reality-warping device, for an inter-dimensional booty-call. When the Red She-Hulk objected, Umar brought her along as well. Apparently, she thought that level of power, and the extra partner, would give them enough stamina to make for an interesting evening (by comparison, she wiped out the Hulk in their first encounter in under six minutes). [[BlueandOrangeMorality She saved the Earth, unintentionally, in the pursuit of really vigorous sex.]]
* ''ComicBook/{{Invincible}}'' : Dark example, as Anissa is attracted to protagonist Mark, stalking him multiple times and saying she wants to reproduce with him to ensure Viltrumites survival (she finds normal human males repulsive) Mark, however, rejects her. [[spoiler: Which angers Anissa and causes her to attack Mark, smashing him down into a crater, pinning herself on top of him and raping him. Mark is of course horrified by the ordeal and the experience briefly [[HatesBeingTouched spoils]] his sexual relationship with his wife Eve, when Eve learns truth [[ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend she]] tries to [[RapeAndRevenge kill Anissa]] first chance she gets. Likewise, his father, Nolan, senses that ''something'' is wrong and [[PapaWolf ends up nearly ripping Anissa's head off]]. Later, he works it out and doesn't take revenge, largely because Anissa has genuinely pulled a HeelFaceTurn and because he knows from experience how screwed up Viltrumite society was - by the standards both were raised by, that behaviour was positively ''normal''. Instead, he opts to comfort Mark.]]
* ''ComicBook/MachineMan'': Aaron Stack, aka Machine Man, learned that his old enemy [[ComicBook/IronMan Sunset Bain, aka Madame Menace,]] has something of a crush on him. He was rather taken aback by the discovery.
* ''ComicBook/TheMightyThor'':
** [[Characters/MarvelComicsTheEnchantress Amora the Enchantress]]. Her attraction to [[Characters/MarvelComicsThorOdinson Thor]] overrides all other considerations—she does admire many of his heroic qualities, but in some cases, has loved him completely despite her many flaws. That said, she does seem to appreciate and enjoy the attentions of other heroes, and has pursued many who have caught her eye, including Hercules, Black Knight, Heimdall, Captain America, Wonder Man, and many others.
** There's also [[Characters/TheMightyThorGiants Hela]], Norse goddess of death, who is either this or a StalkerWithATestTube, DependingOnTheWriter. She's also Thor's adoptive brother's daughter [[spoiler:[[CreatingLifeIsUnforeseen in some sense]]]], by the way, but mythological gods have never been exactly picky about that sort of thing.
** The Enchantress's younger sister Lorelei also wanted a piece of thunder god, and ''once used magic to seduce and rape him''. [[ComicBook/LokiAgentOfAsgard These days]], she's lost interest, and gone for a different hero, Sigurd The Ever-Glorious, Asgard's oldest hero, and a bit of a {{Jerkass}}. If Amora is to believed this attraction is mutual making Sigurd a LadykillerInLove, yes, that kind of jerks.
** Thor's older brother Balder has been a victim of this, too, at the hands of the Norn Queen Karnilla. In her case, there was a bit of LoveRedeems and IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy, as she realized her attempts to punish him for spurning her were hurting her just as much.
* ''ComicBook/{{Nightwing}}'': PlayedForDrama example with Tarantula: in her lust for [[Characters/NightwingDickGrayson Nightwing]], not only does she manipulate events so that Dick will break up with Barbara, but when he's exhausted on a rooftop ''she takes off his pants and [[RapeAsDrama rapes him]]''. Naturally, Dick is disgusted by her and ashamed of himself.
* ''ComicBook/SpiderMan'':
** ''Characters/{{Black Cat|MarvelComics}}'' is the ''Catwoman'' to [[Characters/MarvelComicsPeterParker Spider-Man]]'s ''Batman''. She's a thief who has a growing interest in the wall-crawler and the two become a couple. Unfortunately, her main interest being in his heroic identity of his real one and constantly going back and forth on heroism or thievery makes their romance difficult.
** [[Characters/MarvelComicsSpiders The Queen]] is a dark variant. When she makes the decision to have Spider-Man serve as her "mate" she's made the decision [[spoiler: to turn him into a giant spider monster that would serve as a living egg sac for her offspring. It was a small miracle he survived and returned to normal.]]
* ''ComicBook/{{Superman}}'':
** Dana Dearden, who goes by the aliases "Obsession", "Superwoman", and "Mrs. Superman". Her {{Characters/Superman|TheCharacter}} obsession drives Dana to obtain superpowers, and later declare herself 'Mrs Superman' after a photo emerges of Supes wearing a wedding ring.
%%** In most depictions, Lashina of the [[ComicBook/NewGods Female Furies]] lusts after Superman.
** The Queen of Fables is so delusional that she believes Superman is PrinceCharming, and wants to make him her husband. She even once abducted him and trapped him in a Kryptonian forest (gleaned from tales of Krypton).
** Maxima initially butted heads with Supes when he declined her offer of marriage. Eventually, she learned to take "No" for an answer and became an ally. But Maxima is a slight aversion. It's not so much that she loves or wants a relationship with Superman. She wants his [[StalkerWithATestTube genetic material]] to improve her royal bloodline. She's just . . . rather traditional in her choice of collection method. She has gone after other men, moral and immoral, so long as she thinks they will father powerful children. That means Captain Marvel, whose power has nothing to do with his genetics, is right out, but Aquaman is such a viable candidate that Maxima kidnapped him. Still, it's Superman that Maxima not only wants the babies of, but whats raising her babies while she conquers worlds.
** Superman's teenage clone [[Characters/SupermanConnerKent Superboy]] also dealt with the affections of a female villain. In his case, it was Knockout, a former member of [[ComicBook/NewGods the Female Furies]] who came to Earth shortly after Superboy moved to Hawaii. Like Maxima, she was an alien redheaded woman with super strength. She was also much older than Superboy.
* ''ComicBook/TalesOfTheJedi'': The Sith/Krath sorceress Aleema Keto desires Jedi Knight Ulic-Qel Droma who is there to infiltrate the Krath and destroy them from within.
* ''ComicBook/TomStrong'': The Nazi [[TheBaroness baroness]] known as Ingrid Weiss lusts for Tom. While she's upset he's not blonde, she finds him attractive enough to not be too bothered. Unfortunately for her, for all her beauty, Tom has nothing but [[AbhorrentAdmirer hate and disgust for her]] since he's married to a black woman and Ingrid has nothing but hateful comments about her. [[spoiler:While how it happened is thankfully not elaborated, she took advantage of him [[DudeShesLikeInAComa being unconscious]] and used him to father their son, Albrecht.]] It's this incident that only solidified Tom's eternal rejection of her.
* ''ComicBook/TraggAndTheSkyGods'': Keera--the first officer of the [[AlienInvasion Yargonian invaders]]--seriously has the hots for HandsomeHeroicCaveman Targg. This drives her to attempt to [[MurderTheHypotenuse kill Tragg's mate Lorn]], and eventually to become a DefectorFromDecadence.
* ''ComicBook/XMen'':
** [[Characters/MarvelComicsEmmaFrost Emma Frost]], AKA: The White Queen, to [[Characters/MarvelComicsCyclops Cyclops]] - though she hadn't been quite as evil for a while when it happened.
** [[Characters/MarvelComicsMystique Mystique]]. She has had a thing for Forge, [[Characters/MarvelComicsIceman Iceman]], [[Characters/MarvelComicsGambit Gambit]] (her adoptive daughter [[Characters/MarvelComicsRogue Rogue]]'s husband) and [[Characters/MarvelComicsLogan Wolverine]] respectively.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Strips]]
* Princess Aura for ''ComicStrip/FlashGordon'' before her HighHeelFaceTurn for Barin.
* Evil queens of mysterious kingdoms in hidden valleys really have a thing for ComicStrip/ThePhantom.
* The Dragon Lady for Pat Ryan in ''ComicStrip/TerryAndThePirates''.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fan Works]]
* ''Fanfic/ChildOfTheStorm'' has Yelena Belova, the Red Room's Black Widow, want [[spoiler: Harry]], the Red Son. Who she takes a certain glee in molesting and raping in all but the very strictest legal sense - and that because she wanted him to "finish cooking". The character in question is ''fourteen''. This isn't so much because of who he is, but because she enjoys exerting power over someone so powerful, and is trying to recreate a 'superior' version of her warped vision of the Black Widow/Winter Soldier dynamic (as the Red Son is the Winter Soldier's nominally SuperiorSuccessor). It's portrayed as utterly horrifying.
* ''FanFic/TheFlashSentryChronicles'': Sunset openly flirts with Flash in the human world, even [[spoiler:[[ForcefulKiss forcing a surprise kiss on him]] and asking him if he wants a second one while he's flustered, and telling him she'll make it up to him for framing him and Twilight by letting him take her out on a date sometime]]. [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]] as Sunset is not actually in love with him and makes it clear she only wants him around to act like a boy toy.
* In ''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8532906/1/iFightCrimeWithVictorious iFight Crime With Victorious]]'' Valerie, Freddie's old girlfriend from Season 1 of ''Series/{{iCarly}}'', throws her lot in with Neville so that she can restart (via mind control) her relationship with Freddie.
* You wouldn't believe how many writers portray Shego wanting Ron in ''WesternAnimation/KimPossible'' fanfics. Which is nothing compared to the writers who portray Shego as [[HoYay wanting Kim]].
* In ''Fanfic/TheLastSon'', Superman catches the attention of Anita [=LeRoux=] aka Siryn, the adoptive daughter of Doctor Doom, and wants to marry him so they can rule over mutants together, [[spoiler:until she undergoes a HeelFaceTurn and moves on.]]
* In the ''WesternAnimation/SheRaPrincessOfPower'' fanfic [[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/363684/1/The-Locket-of-Love "Locket of Love,"]] accidental exposure to an ancient artifact causes [[TheImp Imp]] to start to swoon over the heroine Adora, causing quite a few headaches as he tries to win her affections.
* ''Fanfic/TheManyDatesOfDannyFenton'': [[PlayingWithATrope Played With]] and later [[AvertedTrope averted]] with Danny's worse dates:
** [[WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor Cree Lincoln]] seemed to like Danny at first, only to lose interest after he both dumps her and discovers that he cares about kids.
** Vicky from ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'' never expressed any genuine interest in Danny, she was just looking for a MealTicket and didn't hesitate to leave him when she found out that he has no money.
** [[AvertedTrope Averted]] with [[WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}} Katie Kaboom]] who seems to be [[ObliviouslyEvil unaware]] of the fact that she transforms into a monster, or at the very least, that she is doing anything wrong, but it's clear she has a thing for Danny.
** Played straight with [[WesternAnimation/MarvelsSpiderMan Black Cat]], who takes a liking towards Danny despite being two years older than him.
** In ''After Many Dates: Danny and Kim'': [[WesternAnimation/KimPossible Camille Leon]] has a massive crush on Danny Phantom and wants him for a boyfriend. Not only is he involved with Kim Possible in this spin-off, [[AbhorrentAdmirer he finds her extremely annoying]].
* In ''FanFic/MegaManDefenderOfTheHumanRace'', Splash Woman muses that while she could destroy Mega Man, part of her would love to have him to herself and under her control.
* It's common for ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' Fanfics to have kunoichi of opposing villages like Tayuya of Otogakure to become attracted to the title character.
* ''Fanfic/NierAutomataREBirth'':
** 13R was already a deranged {{Yandere}} for 9S while she was in [=YoRHa=]. [[spoiler:After Purple Athena kills her squadmates and restores her limbs, 13R joins up with the new goddess in hopes of killing 2B and getting 9S for herself]].
** [[spoiler:After creating a humanoid body for herself, Purple Athena declares she'll make Alexander her husband so they can rule as gods over humanity, androids, and Machines]].
* ''Fanfic/APossibleEncounterForAPhantom'':
** Ember [=McLain=] reveals she has a thing for Danny Phantom, taking advantage of when she brainwashes him by ordering him to kiss her.
** Inverted with Shego, as Danny is the one who has a crush on her. She's flattered but clearly not interested in someone younger than even Kim Possible.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fairy Tales]]
* The evil stepsisters in ''Literature/{{Cinderella}}'' are willing to mutilate themselves to trick the prince into marriage.
* In ''[[http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/celt/pt1/pt116.htm The Daughter of the Skies]]'', the daughter captures the hero when the heroine breaks her husband's prohibition three times.
* In ''Literature/EastOfTheSunAndWestOfTheMoon'', failing the CurseEscapeClause puts the hero in the power of the witch who {{curse}}d him.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Film -- Animation]]
* In the "Den" segment of ''WesternAnimation/HeavyMetal'', the evil queen ''really'' wants to get it on with the eponymous hero. And then they actually ''do'' get it on.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Film -- Live-Action]]
* Medusa, the main villain in the last ''Film/ThreeNinjas'' movie, offers to spare Dave Dragon if he agrees to be her "boy toy". His rejecting the offer pretty much makes her act less like this the rest of the film.
* ''Film/ThreeHundredRiseOfAnEmpire'': After Artemisia's Persian generals fail to live up to her demands, she takes an interest in her Athenian opposite Themistocles. She summons Themistocles to her command ship (temporarily shored in neutral waters) to seduce him, prompting a very violent sex scene. He refuses with a simple "No" afterwards.
* ''Film/{{Barbarella}}'': The evil Black Queen of Sogo would like to "play" with Barbarella, our heroic, innocent astro-navigatrix, but Barbarella is very much not interested. Then the Black Queen tries to turn to the similarly pure angel Pygar, who turns her down as well.
* ''Film/BatmanAndRobin'': Poison Ivy acts this way to Robin for most of the film, though it is actually subverted as she is only seducing him to make him a victim of her kiss instead of actually being in love with him (instead she's a ClingyJealousGirl for Mr. Freeze, another villain). After she finally kisses him she drops the act and taunts him, but after realizing Robin tricked her she angrily shoves "her love" off the romantic rose throne they were sharing and into the pond to drown him.
* ''Film/BladeRunner2049'' has a more subdued but still apparent example with Replicant Luv's attitude towards TheHero Replicant K. Luv clearly takes a liking to him when they meet, and protects him from scavengers with a KillSat, she even says to his boss Lt. Joshi that he's a "good boy". Towards the climax she becomes more obsessive, having stalked K for the Wallace Corporation throughout the movie and when Luv meets K's hologram girlfriend Joi, Luv unnecessarily destroys her in a KickTheDog moment probably [[MurderTheHypotenuse born out of jealousy]]. It's probably most blatant in the climax where Luv gives K a ForcefulKiss, [[InterplayOfSexAndViolence after stabbing him in the torso]].
* In ''Film/KullTheConqueror'', Akivasha the Red Witch spends the vast majority of the film attempting to convince Kull to accept [[WeCanRuleTogether her offer of immortality and become her lover and co-ruler over all the world]], beginning even before he is a real threat to her and without standing to gain anything from his acceptance of the offer. She constantly pulls her punches (and even betrays her own minions) in order to avoid killing Kull in the hopes that he will eventually come around and be her consort for all eternity. After such dogged persistence, you almost [[AlasPoorVillain feel bad for her]] when she finally gets the kiss she wanted... [[spoiler: but it's laced with the [[ChekhovsGun Breath of Valka]], which kills her.]] Heavy emphasis on ''[[ObviouslyEvil almost]]'' though.
* ''Film/Lifeforce1985'': Space Girl establishes a psychic link to Carlson and offers him to rule by her side, intent on making him another of her "brides". She even went through the effort of reading his mind to [[AFormYouAreComfortableWith assume his dream of the ideal woman]] (her real form being... not very pretty).
* ''Film/TheMummy2017'': Nick is resurrected by Ahmanet as part of her plans, but she also appears to have a more personal interest in him if her leaning in close to Nick longingly on more than one occasion is any indication.
--> '''Ahmanet:''' Come to me...
* Justified in ''Film/QueenOfOuterSpace'' as the eponymous queen rules a LadyLand. Even though she makes a big show of hating men, she orders TheCaptain be brought to her for a private audience. His crew urge him to play along in the hope of [[SexFaceTurn convincing the queen not to attack Earth]], but things don't work out the way he expects. [[spoiler:Turns out she's disfigured under her mask, so when he recoils in horror it only reinforces her hatred of men.]]
* ''Film/QueenOfTheDamned'': The [[MonsterProgenitor mother of all vampires]], an ancient Egyptian pharaoh known as Akasha, wants the much younger vampire Lestat to be her lover after she discarded her previous one to absorb his power. He reciprocates at first, but eventually turns on her since her plan to TakeOverTheWorld is too extreme for him.
%%* This is the plot of ''She.''
* In ''Film/StarTrekFirstContact'', the Borg Queen wanted Picard to willingly submit to the Borg and be her..."consort"? Not technically romance, but the Borg Queen seems to sexualize her role. The seduction part is played straighter in regards to Data, our favorite fully functional android.
* ''Film/X2XMenUnited'': Mystique briefly shapeshifts into Jean and tries to seduce Wolverine, with the two making out briefly before Wolverine discovers her true identity via the scars he left her from their fight in the previous film. Mystique tells him "nobody ever left quite a scar like you did," meaning her attraction to him is because [[BestHerToBedHer he defeated her]]. When Wolverine rejects her advancements on him though, even when she briefly changes into other characters he may be interested in, she leaves him alone and doesn't show any further attraction to him in the future films.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* ''Literature/TheDresdenFiles'': Harry Dresden has had this happen to him a few times.
** Most notably [[OurFairiesAreDifferent Queen Mab]], who wanted Harry to become her champion the Winter Knight, and went about it with a part-seduction/part-job-offer/part-make-your-life-hell vibe. [[spoiler: And when Harry finally accepts, the deal gets sealed with elemental-level coitus.]] For her part, Mab is less a villain and more subject to BlueAndOrangeMorality, but she's not ''nice''.
** Lasciel, a fallen angel who spends time living in Harry's head and trying to tempt him into a full-blown DemonicPossession. At one point this involves a dream with Harry in a hot tub. [[spoiler: When the actual Lasciel shows up in ''Literature/SkinGame'', she acts like a PsychoExGirlfriend.]]
* OlderThanDirt: This trope goes back to ''Literature/TheEpicOfGilgamesh''. The capricious goddess Inanna (Ishtar) wants to hook up with the hero, Gilgamesh, because he's [[EvenTheGuysWantHim exceptionally comely]]. But he wants no part of it because, as he points out with brutal candor, every single guy she's ever spent time with lived to regret it (and usually didn't live to regret it for very long). Result? Goddess rage. His reason for rejecting her is entirely different in the oldest Sumerian version, where his Mother tells him that a relationship with her will make him [[{{Pun}} Soft]].
%%* ''Literature/HowlsMovingCastle'': The Witch of the Waste's love interest is the wizard Howl, who tries to escape from her in fear.
* GenderInverted in ''Literature/ThePhantomOfTheOpera'', where the titular BigBad is in love with heroine Christine.
* ''Literature/TheSevenRealmsSeries'' plays it straight with Han Alistar and Fiona Bayar. The Bayar family is a corrupt family of Wizards that has it out for Han, since Han accidentally wound up stealing a [[MacGuffin powerful magical artifact]] from them. Han is also a ChickMagnet of epic proportions whose good looks almost ''never'' go unnoticed by a female member of the cast. So, naturally, Fiona Bayar gets the hots for him and even attempts to seduce him by saying [[WeCanRuleTogether they can rule together.]]
* ''Literature/{{Tarzan}}'':
** Tarzan himself was hotly pursued by his JunglePrincess EvilCounterpart (actually, more BlueAndOrangeMorality, due to her upbringing and ultimately tragic environment) La, Priestess of Opar, who would not take no for an answer.
** Nemone, Queen of the [[LostWorld ancient lost city of Cathne]] is not only smitten with the Lord of the Jungle, it's clear that her beauty is so great that Tarzan is actually tempted for one of the very few times in his life. Of course, since she's also [[CuteAndPsycho as mad as she is beautiful]], it doesn't last.
* The BigBad of ''Literature/TheUnexploredSummonBloodSign'', [[spoiler: [[GodIsEvil The]] [[LightIsNotGood White]] [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen Queen]]]], is absolutely head-over-heels for Kyousuke. This is, in fact, her only motivation, with her becoming involved in each story arc purely for the chance to see him again.
* In ''Literature/TheWardstoneChronicles'', witches seem to really like spooks, even though a major part of a spook's job is hunting witches. Both Tom and his master, Mr. Gregory, have at least one witch who fell in love with them.
* Lanfear's interest in Rand al'Thor in ''Literature/TheWheelOfTime'' is almost a textbook example of this trope, even down to the WeCanRuleTogether. She never technically kidnaps him[[note]]Though in a possible future Moraine averted Lanfear actually did, ultimately breaking him[[/note]] but she certainly does everything she can to make him dependent on her (and, to her credit, she really does save his life more than once).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* GenderInverted in ''Series/TheAdventuresOfSuperman'' episode "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfSupermanS3E10TheBullyOfDryGulch The Bully of Dry Gulch]]". The VillainOfTheWeek finds ComicBook/LoisLane attractive.
* Subverted in ''Series/BlakesSeven'' where Servalan has little interest in the noble Blake, but is quite interested in AntiHero Avon because he shares her amoral ruthlessness.
* ''[[Series/BuckRogersInTheTwentyFifthCentury Buck Rogers]]'': Princess Ardala to Buck Rogers, sometimes. Although the only time she makes a really HARD play for him is when she needs a ''suitable'' mate to keep her throne. She doesn't get Buck, of course, and it's unclear if she keeps her throne or not.
* ''Franchise/{{Buffyverse}}'':
** Xander is frequently subject to this trope.
*** In "[[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS2E16BewitchedBotheredAndBewildered Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered]]", Xander -- who already has it bad enough, being nearly ripped apart [[ChickMagnet by every woman]] in Sunnydale -- has TheVamp Drusilla also wanting a piece of him. She even stops Angelus trying to kill Xander. Luckily for Xander, when he flees inside a house, Drusilla [[MustBeInvited can't follow him]].
*** In [[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS1E4TeachersPet Teacher's Pet]], a giant female Mantis (disguised as a HotTeacher) tries to lethally mate with Xander.
*** In "[[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS2E4IncaMummyGirl Inca Mummy Girl]]", a {{Mummy}} girl ends up falling for him.
*** In season 3, Faith (an AntiHero) seduces him and takes his virginity and kicks him out of her home after sex. Later, when Xander tries to reason with Faith about her wrongdoings, she sexually assaults him before she starts strangling him, causing Angel to intervene.
*** [[spoiler: Anya becomes this towards Xander overlapping with {{Yandere}} though her HeroicSacrifice redeems her]].
** Veruca, a female werewolf, is attracted to Oz and repeatedly coaxes him into giving into his wolf side by not only attacking people, but sleeping with her. Willow, Oz's girlfriend, discovers this and tries to kill Veruca. Veruca tries to kill Willow in turn but is stopped and killed by Oz.
** In ''Series/{{Angel}}'' Season 2, it's shown that even as a soulless evil demon, Darla is still in love with the titular hero, Angel, despite his "filthy" soul. Even when he's not in his SuperpoweredEvilSide form of Angelus, Darla still cares for him -- as Drusilla TheEmpath notes to Darla's ire. It helps Angelus/Angel and Darla were [[OutlawCouple together]] for 150 years so feelings can't just be swept aside so easily.
** In Seasons 3 and 4 of Angel, Lilah falls in love with Wesley and is even jealous of his lingering love for Fred. However, Lilah's feelings for Wes are part of her CharacterDevelopment where LoveRedeems.
** Jasmine gives Angel a ForcefulKiss in their battle which is all kinds of {{Squick}} as she's technically his granddaughter.
* ''Series/DoctorWho'': Missy, after her GenderSwap from The Master, developed an attraction to the Doctor, to the point where in Series 10 she even [[spoiler: attempts to undergo a HeelFaceTurn for him]].
%%* ''Series/{{Elementary}}'': [[spoiler:Moriarty. Also a case of DatingCatwoman]].
* The third season of ''Series/TheFlash2014'' has [[spoiler:Killer Frost]], who had some ShipTease with Barry Allen as [[spoiler:Caitlin Snow]] and who forces a kiss on him during her attempt to kill him. When he says he wants to help her, she bitterly asks why he would when he's already got a happy life with his girlfriend, Iris. She eagerly grabs the opportunity to partner up with [[spoiler:[[BigBad Savitar]], an evil future version of Barry when he offers her a chance to rule the world forever with him, and makes at least one pass at him.]]
* ''Series/GameOfThrones'': With [[spoiler:Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow]] in the series finale. [[spoiler:Daenerys and Jon]] have already fallen in love before [[spoiler:[[FallenHero Daenerys burns a surrendered King's Landing]] after her SanitySlippage, which is prompted by a series of grievous personal losses.]][[note]]Daenerys loses her advisor and confidant Jorah Mormont in the war against the dead, while her best friend Missandei and dragon Rhaegal are killed by Cersei Lannister and Euron Greyjoy. Additionally, since she and Jon find out [[SurpriseIncest the truth of their blood relation]], they still love one another but Daenerys fears people will push for Jon's claim to the throne over her own (she later discovers one of her own advisors, Varys, wants to put Jon on the throne over her and she executes Varys). Meanwhile, Jon, who renounces his claim for Daenerys's, halts their intimate relations since finding out they are related by blood.[[/note]] [[spoiler:Daenerys kills thousands of civilians and afterward, she announces her plans to conquer the known world through death and destruction [[UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans in order to realize her perfect world]]. Tyrion urges Jon it is [Jon's] duty to kill her now but Jon resists due to his love for her. Jon [[LastSecondChance tries to persuade Daenerys to show mercy]] but Daenerys now believes mercy is a weakness used to cripple her and believes what she has done is right. Still, Daenerys [[WeCanRuleTogether still wants Jon by her side]] to continue the Targaryen dynasty -- but just as Jon failed to convince Daenerys to be merciful, Daenerys fails to convince Jon to join her plans to conquer the world, and he ends up reluctantly [[KillTheOnesYouLove assassinating her]] to stop her carnage, weeping as [[CradlingYourKill Daenerys dies]] [[DiedInYourArmsTonight in his arms]].]]
* Adrianne Margeaux of ''Series/KnightRider'', a recurring villainess who ''really'' wanted a piece of Michael after their first encounter. She even plants a ForcefulKiss once she's got him imprisoned.
* Nadira to Lucas, the Blue Ranger, in ''Series/PowerRangersTimeForce''. [[spoiler: By the next season she's reformed and he reciprocates. ]]
* ''Series/{{Smallville}}'':
** Tess Mercer has something of a crush on him, although not much comes out of it. She also a NewOldFlame for Oliver.
** "[[Recap/SmallvilleS08E04Instinct Instinct]]" introduces Smallville's version of Maxima, who is less of a StalkerWithATestTube but a SexGoddess who is frustrated that no men can handle her natural LivingAphrodisiac powers, with many [[JizzedInMyPants orgasming from a single kiss]] from her. She is elated when Clark's Kryptonian lineage has the stamina to match her.
-->'''Maxima:''' ''Finally''. A man with some fight in him. None of the men on my planet have the stamina to ''[[SpeedSex keep up]]''.
* ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'':
** Mirror Kira wants [[AntiHero Mirror Sisko]], regular Sisko, regular Kira, and [[DepravedBisexual pretty much everyone else]] she can intimidate with her sexuality.
** A GenderInverted example is Gul Dukat for Kira. Given he used to run a slave labor camp on her planet, she naturally has no desire to reciprocate.
* ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'':
** [[spoiler:Ruby]] seems to genuinely care for Sam, and also seems to assume he's more or less on board with joining team evil, though Sam's actions under her influence are more of the WellIntentionedExtremist variety.
** Meg falls in love with Castiel during Seasons 7 & 8.
%%** [[spoiler:The Darkness]] seems to be attracted to Dean.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Roleplay]]
* Downplayed with Melissa in ''Roleplay/DawnOfANewAgeOldportBlues''. While she's in a committed relationship with [[CardCarryingVillain Daigo]], she's also attracted to [[NiceGuy Ciro's]] innocent qualities and wouldn't mind having something with him on the side (even if he doesn't reciprocate at all).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Theater]]
* Some of the ''Theatre/SeraMyu'' musicals expand on Beryl's love for Endymion. One had her as his fiancee, meaning he probably reciprocated her feelings and explains why she hates Serenity and the Moon Kingdom so much. ''La Reconquista'' makes it clear she intends to marry him and make him her consort when she rules Earth; their wedding is a plot point that needs to be stopped.
* In the original version of ''Theatre/SpiderManTurnOffTheDark'', the villainous Arachne had a thing for Peter and wished to seduce him away from Mary Jane. When Julie Taymor was fired and the musical was rewritten in order to save it, the subplot was cut as Arachne was DemotedToExtra.
%%* ''Theatre/AVeryPotterMusical'': Umbridge dates Dumbledore briefly in "Sequel".
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Theme Parks]]
* In ''Theatre/TheEighthVoyageOfSindbad'' show at [[Ride/UniversalStudios Universal's Islands of Adventure]], Miseria displays a bit of attraction towards the title character and is quite upset when he is instead more interested in Princess Amoura.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Video Games]]
* Though she's more an AntiHero Morrigan from ''VideoGame/{{Darkstalkers}}'' still invokes this in ''VideoGame/CapcomVs'' being explicitly attracted to Wolverine, Dante, Gambit, Phoenix Wright, Ghost Rider, Frank West, Iron Man and Chris Redfield.
* ''VideoGame/{{Cyberbots}}'': Devilotte has a crush on Gawaine.
* In ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry3DantesAwakening'', Nevan clearly has the hots for Dante, she calls his father Sparda a "handsome devil", and actually feels him up during their pre-fight encounter. After the battle, she reveals Sparda used to show her a good time, but Dante is no slouch himself and then she turns into a guitar.
* Batari, the ScaryBlackWoman HighPriestess of the Izila tribe from ''VideoGame/FarCryPrimal'', first meets Takkar [[TheBeastmaster the Beast Master]] when she catches him releasing Wenja prisoners from her fort. Batari, seemingly [[WomenPreferStrongMen impressed by Takkar's strength]]- as well as by his [[BiggerIsBetterInBed penis]]- offers to make him great, and tells him "[[SexSlave You will serve only me. Only... Batari]]." Takkar tells her to stick her offer, and she [[NotGoodWithRejection throws him in the fire pit]].
* Dark example with ''VideoGame/FEAR2ProjectOrigin'' in regards to Alma and the protagonist Becket... [[RapeAsDrama it doesn’t end well]].
* As [[http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/saturn/a/ffrpoison-2.png shown]] in the ''VideoGame/FinalFight'' ''Revenge'' fighting game Poison is infatuated with Cody and Poison becomes actually upset that he only loves Jessica and refuses to join her gang.
* A rather creepy gender-flip takes place in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemTheSacredStones'', with Valter's StalkerWithACrush behavior towards Princess Eirika.
* In ''VideoGame/KingdomsOfAmalurReckoning'', in the House of Ballads quest line, the Maid of Windemere kidnaps King Wencen of the Summer Court to be her lover, leading to him having to be saved by his queen in the tellings of the ballad before the arrival of the Fateless One.
* In ''Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda'' spin-off ''VideoGame/HyruleWarriors'', [[BigBad Cia]] causes havoc solely because she's in love with Link and [[MurderTheHypotenuse wants Zelda out of the picture]] to have him all to herself.
* In a same-sex example from ''VideoGame/{{Lunarosse}}'', [[spoiler:Gerard, Noel's SuperpoweredEvilSide, developed feelings for main character Channing and ends up goading Noel into the same.]]
* ''Franchise/MassEffect'': Aria T'Loak backstory reveals that this was the case when she dated Nyreen, who "[[TheParagon oozes virtue]]" according to Aria. The relationship failed when they both realized that they couldn't make DatingCatwoman work without changing the other. Likewise implied with a subtle undercurrent of BelligerentSexualTension in conversations between Aria and Paragon Shepard.
* Tron Bonne of ''VideoGame/MegamanLegends'' begins developing a crush on Mega Man Volnutt, and tries time and time again to coax him to her side. However, she has [[DatingCatwoman just as much fun acting as his foil]].
* ''VideoGame/MetalGear'':
** In ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid'' Sniper Wolf is explicitly attracted to Snake, it's revealed she actually falls for most of her targets.
** In ''VideoGame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance'' FemmeFatale Mistral screams this trope towards Raiden given she [[ProjectileKiss blows him a kiss]] when she firsts sees him, seductively [[DressHitsFloor drops her coat]] in front of him and during their duel Mistral actually yells excitedly that she wants ''[[CombatSadomasochist more]]'' while fighting him. Of course, being HappilyMarried to Rose, Raiden mostly spurns her Mistral's attraction and dodges her blown kiss "like a bullet".
** In ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolidV'' Quiet's HeelFaceTurn stems from [[LoveRedeems her attraction]] to Venom Snake.
* ''VideoGame/NamcoXCapcom'': Saya, the BigBad of the game, as well as a recurring antagonist in ''VideoGame/EndlessFrontier'', its Exceed sequel, and the ''VideoGame/ProjectXZone'' games, flirts with Reiji Arisu, the game's main protagonist and a high level agent of Shinra.
* ''VideoGame/PathfinderKingmaker'' has TheManBehindTheMan [[spoiler: Nyrissa]] start off using this as a HoneyTrap, but (depending on choices made in the game) can actually become a love interest [[spoiler: that culminates in a HighHeelFaceTurn as she accepts her heart back from the hero/ine.]]
* ''Franchise/ResidentEvil''
** This is Ada Wong's attitude towards [[ChickMagnet heart throb]] Leon S. Kennedy, many fans forget due to the DatingCatwoman angle that Ada is an amoral FemmeFataleSpy who will happily hurt, manipulate and backstab anyone [[AllTakeAndNoGive including Leon himself sometimes]]. But WordOfGod says that Ada's one redeeming trait/weakness is that beneath her multiple lies and betrayals she does genuinely love Leon to some extent and will actually help him out at times. In the ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil2Remake'' Leon cleverly weaponizes this trope against Ada as after he learns she just wants the T-Virus and points a gun at Leon when he refuses to hand it over. Leon correctly guesses that Ada isn't truly willing to kill him to retrieve the virus, thus creates a brief stalemate.
** In ''VideoGame/ResidentEvilRevelations'' TheMole Jessica Sherawat is attracted to Chris Redfield and unsuccessfully flirts with him throughout the game and is even somewhat jealous of his unwavering care for his "partner" Jill Valentine.
* In ''Franchise/StreetFighter'', Juri Han will have to invoke this with some of the male World Warriors, as one of her win quotes against Ryu is about how "frisky" he makes her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Webcomics]]
* Lucrezia Mongfish, the MadScientistsBeautifulDaughter [[spoiler: aka [[BigBad The Other]]]] in ''Webcomic/GirlGenius''. It's partially also DatingCatwoman, since Bill genuinely loves her and Lucrezia appears to love him back [[spoiler: at first, anyway]] but it's apparently clear to everyone except Bill that she's [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20041208#.VvViMeKLTIU still a villainess at heart]].
--> '''Lucrezia:''' Now, Bill ''knows'' I'm bad. But he thinks I can ''change''.\
'''Klaus:''' He's ''wrong''. They think that about ''everybody''. I know you ''too well''.
** Played straight in the side story of Ferretina the Weasel Queen, with Othar Tryggvassen as the hero she tries to seduce - right up until he mistakes her seduction for "luring him to his doom" and tries to kill her instead. It's an easy mistake to make.
--> '''Ferretina:''' You're a ''real'' man! A ''hero!'' I had thought your kind a fable! A story for ''children!''
** Also played straight in the backstory of a side story, with Old Man Death recounting tales from his youth to his granddaughter - since he now runs a sandwich shop, the villainess in question apparently repented. Although since he fought alongside [[TheHorde the Jaegars]] under one of the [[EvilGenius old Heterodynes]] this might actually be a case of AllGirlsWantBadBoys, it's [[UnreliableNarrator ambiguous]].
--> '''Old Man Death:''' Then one day, while sacking a castle, I was ravished by a wild princess...\
'''Zeuxippe:''' You the who '''''what''''' now?\
'''Old Man Death:''' Heh. Even today, your grandmother is a ''remarkable woman''.
** [[HeroOfAnotherStory Aldin Hoffman]] is apparently very popular with villainesses who are fond of capturing him and putting him in [[GoGoEnslavement loincloth outfits]].
* Used in a minor way in ''Webcomic/TheOrderOfTheStick''. Fairly early, Elan gets kidnapped by bandits who, as it turned out, were acting on the orders of the beautiful Bandit Queen. Looks like 18 Charisma wasn't just for show after all. (Well, it ''is'', obviously, but you know what we mean.) Somewhat unusual in that Elan [[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0156.html actually goes along with it]] until his UST-target shows up and complains, at which point he defends himself by claiming that seducing the beautiful villainess is part of his solemn duty as a Bard.
** Sabine mentions this trope in a comedic inversion of AllGirlsWantBadBoys from [[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0794.html this strip]].
** There's also the situation between [[TheFettered Durkon]] and [[TheHedonist Hilgya]]. Deconstructed in that while she was attracted to him and he eventually returned the favor, [[spoiler:she was still married and the LawfulGood Durkon could not be involved in a relationship with someone who was married to someone else]].
* In the ''Webcomic/{{Pixieverse}}'' The Demon Queen has a one-sided crush on [[ColorCharacter Blue Pixie]] and will often turn her into a mannequin as her warped way of showing affection.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Original]]
* Inverted in ''WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall'', where the heroic champion of the universe Linkara has a crush on Harley Quinn, a comic book villainess.
* The ''[[http://nift.firedrake.org/EEmpress.htm Guidelines for Evil Empresses]]'' have a lot to say about this.
-->I will not bed the Hunky Hero before my plan is executed, unless having him believe I am carrying his child gives me a decisive advantage.
-->I will not be put off by the Hero's rebuffs of my sensual advances. If he doesn't succumb to me, I will not fly into a jealous rage. Instead, I'll shrug my shoulders, send him on his way, and have him picked off as he exits the fortress.
-->I, and my elite guards, will never assume that we have managed to confiscate all weapons or escape aids from the captured Hero. "Interrogations" in my private chambers will only be conducted if the Hero is completely nude. This will, in fact, satisfy a number of objectives at once.
-->If the Hero says he is willing to betray his cause and accept my offer of ruling the world at my side, he will only be believed once that betrayal results in his cause's total destruction, at which point [[RewardedAsATraitorDeserves his demonstration of total lack of principle should lead to his immediate execution]].
-->However insatiable my appetites are, it is virtually guaranteed that at least one of my millions of subjects is both far more gifted at satisfying them and far more loyal to me than the Hero who seeks my destruction, no matter his reputation with the ladies.
-->If the Hero has an evil twin, the twin will probably make a far more suitable Love-Happy Stooge.
* Played straight by WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick who is a StalkerWithACrush for WebVideo/ToddInTheShadows. WordOfGod is that she and WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic are also essentially an OfficialCouple.
* ''WebVideo/SailorMoonAbridged'': Beryl's even more obsessed with Darien than she was in [[Anime/SailorMoon the anime]]. It's so bad she stalks him on Facebook and her sexual intentions for him couldn't be any clearer. She also seems to think GuyOnGuyIsHot; when the brainwashed Darien and Malachite engage in a fight, her response is to suggest they mud wrestle while she videotapes it. Ann retains her canonical crush on Darien, but it isn't as flanderized as Beryl. Sailor Mars probably counts since this series drops any pretense of telling us that she's good, despite being on the same side as Darien. She's even more vocally into him than she was in the anime and doesn't pretend to like his somewhat girlfriend Serena (who's also her teammate Sailor Moon). Making her obsession worse is the fact that she's a [[HollywoodSatanism Satanist]] who often mentions wanting to sacrifice him, set him on fire, or otherwise cause him bodily harm. The only time he reciprocates is when he's brainwashed, though he does say he's with Beryl (though he doesn't seem too thrilled about this).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* ''WesternAnimation/AladdinTheSeries'':
** There's a recurring villain a witch named [[http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Sadira Sadira]], whose main goal was to steal Aladdin from Jasmine, though she [[HeelFaceTurn gave up on it in her third appearance and befriended Jasmine.]]
** There was also Saleen, an evil mermaid who attempted the same thing. Though in one episode she turned Aladdin into a shark, which seems sort of counterproductive to this trope.
* In ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'' Ty Lee hits on Sokka almost every time they share the screen together. Of course, she's not really that much of a villain, but she's Azula's sidekick and usually hits on him while they're fighting.
* ''WesternAnimation/Ben10Omniverse'': Because the Omnitrix turns Ben into a genetically prime specimen of any alien species, it is not uncommon for aliens to become attracted to him. "[[Recap/Ben10OmniverseS6E1Catfight Catfight]]" pits the two main cases of this against each other: the Tetramand Princess Looma wants Ben as Four Arms, while the Incursean Princess Attea wants Ben as Bullfrag (who noted to his horror that the attraction [[TheMindIsAPlaythingOfTheBody may have been partially mutual]]). Nyancy Chan, who controls cats, also wants Ben as Rath.
* ''WesternAnimation/BuzzLightyearOfStarCommand'' had this with Gravatina. She once went for Buzz's EvilTwin from an AlternateUniverse.
* ''WesternAnimation/DannyPhantom'': WordOfGod revealed that Ember [=McLain=] is secretly in love the title character, but denies it in a {{Tsundere}} manner.
* Queen Tyr'ahnee of the Martians and ''WesternAnimation/DuckDodgers''.
* ''WesternAnimation/GaltarAndTheGoldenLance'': Recurring DarkActionGirl Rava's primary goal in life is to [[AmbitionIsEvil rule the kingdom of Bandisar]]. Her secondary goal? To have the titular hero as her husband by any means necessary, even if it involves kidnapping, torture, and [[MurderTheHypotenuse attempting to dispose of]] his other love interest, Goleeta. Failing all that, she's willing to invoke the IfICantHaveYou clause...
* ''WesternAnimation/GIJoeARealAmericanHero'': The Dreadnok Zarana falls for the Joe tech specialist Mainframe during an undercover mission, an attraction that is very much mutual even after he discovers her true identity. She even covertly assists him on one occasion when he's deaged, and quietly wishes him luck. Dropped in the DiC season where she's introduced as hooking up with Destro instead (though it should be noted that the connection between the original Sunbow seasons and post-movie DiC seasons are somewhat... vague).
* The eponymous character of ''WesternAnimation/JimmyTwoShoes'' is lusted after by Heloise, an EnfantTerrible MadScientist. Of course, sometimes she drifts into AntiHero territory, she's still happily working for {{Satan}}. Currently, Jimmy [[ObliviousToLove has no clue]].
* ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague'':
** In "The Great Brain Robery" when [[FreakyFridayFlip Lex Luthor and Flash trade bodies]], Tala is ''clearly'' far more attracted to Flash as Lex than the real thing. While Flash is flippant toward her and creeped out by her clinginess, he nevertheless treats her far nicer than Lex ever does. At the end, when Lex is turned back to normal, Tala is visibly disappointed to have "her" Lex back.
** In the episode "Alive", Giganta develops a sympathy for ''[[ComicBook/TheFlash Wally West]]''. At the end of the series finale, she uses a bit of her [[MercyLead head start]] time to give him a kiss before running away with the other villains.
* Queen La plays the same role in Disney's animated series ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfTarzan'' as she did in the original source material.
* ''WesternAnimation/MyLifeAsATeenageRobot'': Tammy had a crush on Brad, Jenny's best friend/sidekick. They almost got married until Brad realized that he be treated like a slave and she would eventually ''eat him''...
* In ''WesternAnimation/ThePrincessAndThePea'', Hildegard (the RoyalBrat princess) wants to marry Rollo, although the only reason she wants to marry him is because he's the prince of a [[GoldDigger very rich]] kingdom.
* In ''WesternAnimation/ReBoot'' Hexadecimal sometimes had a crush on Bob, depending on which mask she had on at the time. [[spoiler:After she's turned into a sprite she comes to realize she loves him entirely and ends up [[HeroicSacrifice sacrificing herself to save the entire net]] from [[OmnicidalManiac Daemon's]] infection, for no reason other than for his sake.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheCloneWars'' features Miraj Scintel, the Queen of Separatist-aligned Zygerria, taking a liking to Anakin Skywalker posing as a smuggler to free many recently abducted slaves from her clutches, and, subsequently, after his ruse is discovered, takes Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Rex as captive slaves, but promises to release them if he would [[ScarpiaUltimatum become her lover and stay with her]], believing she can control him. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, Count Dooku [[ShootTheDangerousMinion doesn't approve...]]]]
* ''WesternAnimation/SupermanTheAnimatedSeries'':
** Like the comic book example above, Maxima is this to Superman in "[[Recap/SupermanTheAnimatedSeriesS2E24WarriorQueen Warrior Queen]]". However, she eventually let's him go and actually soon forgets all about him when she meets another man.
--->'''Lobo:''' I'm here to get that fraggin', scum-suckin, rat-scratchin' De'Cine. And nobody better stop me!\
'''Maxima:''' Yeahoooo!
** Though he was brainwashed at the time, Lashina not only has a thing for Superman, it's pretty heavily implied they had sex.
* In an episode of ''WesternAnimation/SWATKats'', a villainess air-pirate named Turmoil develops a crush on the hero T-Bone. [[spoiler:She captures and asks T-Bone to join her crew, which he accepts. In truth, however, he simply takes advantage of her hospitality by planting bombs throughout the ship and bringing it down. At the end of the episode, Turmoil, while in prison, promises not to give up her pursuit of T-Bone.]]
* Subverted in ''WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2012''. Karai flirts with Leo on screen, but they become enemies after Leo and his brothers try to kill the Shredder, her father. Played straight by the end of the series, where it's all but stated they're an item (e.g. Karai outright tells Leo that she won't go easy on him during a training match just because she likes him), though by that point Karai is pretty clearly no longer a villain.
* ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003'':
** Played as high-school drama when Kitten, Killer Moth's BrattyTeenageDaughter, wants Robin to take her to the prom. Subverted, however: she just wants to use Robin to make her ''real'' boyfriend jealous.
** Blackfire flirts pretty heavily with Robin in her first appearance, but this seems less to be actual interest and more just her screwing with her sister Starfire's (Robin's [[OfficialCouple canon love interest]]) head. In her second appearance, she pretty much ignores Robin entirely.
** This trope is completely inverted in regards to Jinx and Kid Flash. Kid Flash is definitely the active pursuer in the relationship, with him trying to coax Jinx into turning over a new leaf.
* ''WesternAnimation/ElTigre'': Both Black Cuervo and her mother Voltura have this for El Tigre and ''his'' father, [[TheCape White Pantera]]. A good way to get Voltura riled is to point out that was Pantera who broke up with her; ''"As if I could forget!"''
* In ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice2010'', Cheshire flirts with Red Arrow, [[spoiler:the original Roy Harper/Speedy's clone]]. They eventually get married and have a daughter.
