16	Streaking is defined by Oxford Dictionaries as an "informal run [done] naked in a public place so as to shock or amuse others." This trope has made an appearance in many forms of media since its boom in popularity in [[TheSeventies the early 1970s]] and has continued to be an ongoing, though uncommon, phenomenon in modern society. It is mostly associated with young adults, sports events and college campuses. The motivation can be a prank, a dare, drunken revelry or a protest (in which case the streaker may write a slogan on their body).
