->"Work's been kinda slow since cartoons went to color. But I've still got it, Eddie! Boop boop be doop! Boop!"
-->-- WesternAnimation/BettyBoop,voiced by Mae Questel, who reprised her iconic role at the age of 78 conversing with Eddie Valiant in the Ink & Paint Club, Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit

s spoken by someone who thought they were out of practice at something, but when doing it again for the first time in a while, find out that they are in fact still good at it. Occasionally subverted, when it first seems that the character has succeeded, but has in fact failed. In martial arts settings, this is likely to lead to getting BackInTheSaddle for an individual and/or OrderReborn for an outfit.

* Franchise/Gundam:
** The Manga/MobileSuitCrossboneGundam and Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam manga reveal that Grey Stoke, an old Jovian captain along with his rickety mobile suit, the Gump still have quite a bit of asskicking in them. [[spoiler:Which isn't surprising since Grey Stoke is an aged Judau Ashta, the Gump being what the ZZ Gundam ultimately became.]]
** Anime/MobileSuitGundam00: At one point, Lockon Stratos steps out of the cockpit to use a regular old sniper rifle against some terrorists with him noting after scoring several clean headshots that he thought that he was getting a little bit rusty but apparently not.
* Manga/RanmaOneHalf: When Shampoo starts telling Ranma that she hates him and acting like he's the very scum of the earth, he wonders if "he's lost his power over women." However, after Ukyo tells him that she loves him, his typical, cocky attitude returns and he says:
-->Ranma: I've got it. I've still got it!

* ComicStrip/Doonesbury: As Zonker shows him his new crop of weed (grown in prevision of Proposition 19 being passed in California), Zipper comments "You've still got it!"

* In Fanfic/TheApprenticeTheStudentAndTheCharlatan, Celestia rather enjoys being able to fluster her friends with a DoubleEntendre of a suggestion in the past. Fast forward to the epilogue in the present day, she's rather pleased that she can fluster Twilight the same way.
* Fanfic/DungeonKeeperAmi: After Amadeus returns after being gone for years, and not having fought for a while , he fights against a tough opponent, , and wins handily:
--> "Yes, I still got it," Amadeus nodded in satisfaction as he twirled his blood-tipped sword around, none the worse for wear from the short altercation.
* Fanfic/TheRedDragonsSaber: When Artoria is summoned and has to fight, she is pleased to find she still has all her power and skills, fearing they may have decayed due to her years of peace in Avalon.

* WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyondReturnOfTheJoker
-->[A batarang flies across the length of the Batcave, neatly decapitates a mannequin of Two-Face, and returns to Bruce's hand]\
Bruce Wayne: Still got it.
* WesternAnimation/Cars1
-->Lightning [=McQueen=]: Doc, hold it! Seriously, your driving's incredible!\
Doc Hudson: Wonderful. Now go away.\
Lightning [=McQueen=]: Hey, I mean it. You've still got it!
* In WesternAnimation/CloudyWithAChanceOfMeatballs, the mayor says "He's still got it, folks," as Brent strips off his tracksuit in one deft motion to reveal his Baby Brent get-up beneath.
* WesternAnimation/Dinosaur
-->Zini: "Girls, I'm known as the 'professor of love' and school's in session." Yeah, I still got it.
* In WesternAnimation/Foodfight, Dex Dogtective snaps out of his retirement to crack open the mystery surrounding Brand-X, scaling his way up a building using a grappling hook. He successfully makes it onto the roof, cheerily commenting "I've still got it!" before yanking the hook too hard and whapping himself on the head like a klutz.
* WesternAnimation/TMNT
-->Master Splinter: We must do this more often, Ee-yah! [kicks demon back into vortex] I still got it!

* Film/DraculaDeadAndLovingIt has Van Helsing saying this after successfully making ten out of ten med students pass out during an autopsy.
* The mother in Film/SpyKids1, after successfully using the laser in her wedding ring to cut through the ropes tying her to a chair.
* Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit
-->Betty Boop: Work's been kinda slow since cartoons went to color. But I still got it, Eddie! "Boop-boop-be-doop-*boop*!"\
Eddie Valiant: Yeah. You still got it.Doubles as a meta example, as Betty was voiced by her original voice actor Mae Questal, who was still able to do Betty's voice at the age of 78
* Film/OceansEleven: Saul's advanced age and semi-retirement casts some doubt over whether or not he's still cut out to be part of the casino heist. At one point Danny Ocean asks him if he's up to the job. Saul very coldly shuts him down and goes on to prove he's still perfectly capable.
-->Danny: Saul, are you sure you're ready to do this?\
Saul: If you ever ask me that question again, Daniel, you will not wake up the following morning.\
Danny: [walking away] He's ready.

* Barrin utters this in one of the TabletopGame/MagicTheGathering novels after safely scouring a Phyrexian plague ship.

* Liz on Series/ThirtyRock wants to drive a tenant out of an apartment she wants, so she enlists Jenna who has a history of driving guys away by being a total DramaQueen. Jenna says "I'm going to teach you how to be a drama queen. And if I fail, I'm gonna take a bunch of pills and it's gonna be your fault! Still got it."
* Series/ArrestedDevelopment episode "Spring Breakout":
-->[Re: Their mother's attractiveness]\
Buster: Mom's still got it!
* Series/Bones episode "The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken":
-->Dr. Brennan: You noticed something. See? You still got it.
* Series/TheBrendanLeonardShow
-->Brendan Leonard: [getting sprayed with water playing croquet] In the face of adversity, I still got it.
* Series/DoctorWho: From "New Earth":
-->Cassandra (in Rose's body): Mmm, aren't you just? [kisses the Doctor playfully, breathing somewhat heavily] T-ter-terminal's this way. [walks away, fanning her face as if warm]\
The Doctor (recently regenerated, as in two episodes back): [looks at her, disoriented; finally, in squeaky voice] Yep. Still got it.
* After a while, this became the catchphrase of Ralph Malph on Series/HappyDays, usually said after telling one of his jokes.
-->Ralph: You know, I just came back from Africa. I played cards with the natives.\
Richie: Zulus?\
Ralph: No! I won!"Zulus?" roughly sounds like "You lose?" [laughs] I still got it!
* Franchise/PowerRangers:
** This occurred during the All Red Ranger team up in Series/PowerRangersWildForce. Jason Lee Scott, the franchise's first Red Ranger utterly flattens the BigBad of the episode with his bare hands much to the awe of current RookieRedRanger Cole.
-->Jason: Still number one.
** In Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder, Tommy Oliver returns to the fight after several years of retirement and notes, "I may be old, but I can still pull it off."
** Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive sees the return of Adam Park, a long-time teammate of Tommy's. While the other veterans resort to using superpowers to fend off some mooks while in human form, Adam relies on good old-fashioned martial arts just like his Zordon Era days.
--->Adam: It may be old school, but it still gets the job done.
* Series/HowIMetYourMother
-->Robin: (on her ability to attract men) I! Still! Got! It!
* Series/StarTrekVoyager episode "Live Fast and Prosper"
-->Neelix: [to Paris after they pull off a magic trick] We've still got it!

* Pro wrestling fans will often show their appreciation for older veteran wrestlers that can still perform well in the ring by chanting "You still got it." Wrestling/Sting, being a big fan favorite from the old Wrestling/ationalWrestlingAllianceWA and Wrestling/WCW days, gets this all the time in Wrestling/TNA.
** Wrestling/RickySteamboat vs. Wrestling/ChrisJericho proved this for Ricky too.
** Wrestling/BookerT at the 2011 Wrestling/RoyalRumble (his first WWE appearance since 2007) and Road Dogg at the 2012 Royal Rumble (his first WWE appearance since 2002). Needless to say, "ring rust" was no problem for them.
** This also applied to female wrestlers from the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras who returned for the Women's Royal Rumbles, which started in 2018. The likes of and Wrestling/MollyHolly were greeted with massive cheers and chants that they've "still got it" whenever they pulled off their iconic Finishing Moves.
* It is universally agreed upon that even after Wrestling/ShawnMichaels was out of the ring for four years, he never lost his touch. Shawn dominated nearly two decades of Match of the Year up until his retirement.
** Tragically averted when Shawn was finally lured back into the ring for one more match at WWE's execrable "Crown Jewel" event in 2018. Teaming with old friend Wrestling/TripleH for a tag match against the Brothers of Destruction one more time, Shawn showed painfully visible ring rust from his 8 years of retirement, although he at least didn't totally embarrass himself (in fact, he was generally considered to look pretty good, but for a man considered to have been possibly the greatest worker of all time "pretty good" is still a hell of a step down). Combined with Trips injuring himself early in the match and 'Taker and Kane just looking terrible (forcing Shawn to effectively carry the entire match, something he just didn't have in him anymore, although he broke his nose and forehead trying) the match ended up a tragedy that was considered one of the worst of the year, and Shawn swore he would never repeat the mistake by coming out of retirement again, no matter how much money he was offered.
* Chris Jericho got this chant at Royal Rumble 2013. His response? "I never lost it, baby!" (considering he had only been gone a few months the chant wasn't really appropriate anyway.) Roughly a decade later he's still considered to be putting in sterling work in his AEW run, with his 2022 reign as Wrestling/RingOfHonor World Champion being considered some of his best work in years.
* In his 2013+ WWE run, Wrestling/Goldust, in teaming with his brother, put in arguably some of the best work of his career, easily eclipsing the later years of his previous WWE run.
** As a testament to Dustin Rhodes' skill and longevity in the ring, what may actually be the best match of his entire career took place in 2019 against brother Wrestling/CodyRhodes at Wrestling/AEW Double or Nothing, more than thirty years after his ring debut in 1988!
* An example that concerned no one but Lenny Leonard, but Wrestling/MattSydal showed him that he in fact was not not "Out Of Gas" after recovering from a broken and dislocated foot at EVOLVE 31 by beating Wrestling/JohnnyGargano.
* Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon, despite being one of the most hated heels of all time, got cheers and a "You still got it!" chant when she wrestled her first match in over ten years at Wrestling/SummerSlam 2014.
* In the lead-up to episode 1000 of Wrestling/WWERaw, career Jobber Wrestling/HeathSlater was put into a series of matches against old legends of the WWE, who would promptly squash him to show that they still had it.He did pick up one win against Wrestling/DoinkTheClown, but was promptly blindsided and flattened by Wrestling/DiamondDallasPage to make up for it. Slater sells really, really well so he was able to make his opponents look really good, but none looked so great as Big Van Vader who, at 57 years old, looked like he hadn't lost a step and had the crowd roaring as he delivered the Vader Bomb.
* Wrestling/CMPunk
** This has been Trope in his AEW run. His return match against Wrestling/DarbyAllin at All Out 2021 proved that not even 7 years out of the ring and a failed MMA career could stop CM Punk from being a top-tier professional wrestler, but as his run has continued, while Punk was still undefeated for a time (and even his first loss there to MJF came through cheating), he would often be struggling to put away opponents who would normally be considered far beneath the level of someone who calls themself "the Best in the World" (e.g. QT Marshall, a guy not particularly portrayed as threatening in AEW). Punk is clearly affected by this and is desperate to prove he can still keep up with the new generation of wrestlers after so long away from the ring.
** A verbal example would have to be his instantly-legendary promo-off with Wrestling/MJF on the November 24, 2021 episode of Dynamite. As lampshaded by MJF in this promo, Punk still proved to be a competent talker but most of his promos involved invoking a CheapPop and saying how happy he was to be wrestling again against whoever his opponent was, with only a single segment with Wrestling/EddieKingston showing any spark of the man that captivated the wrestling world a decade prior. Then this segment happened, where Punk allowed MJF to get his jabs in, no-sold them, and then proceeded to verbally destroy his younger rival (who is one of the greatest talkers in the industry today), proving that even with seven years out of the game, he's still the greatest wordsmith in modern-day professional wrestling.

* Here's a clip of legendary retired boxer Roberto Duran sparring with current contender Sergio Mora in May of 2016. Duran (who reached the height of his career in the 70s and the 80s, is 64 years old, and partially disabled after a car crash in the early 2000s) needs only about a minute before he begins finding the openings in Mora's defense and dodges Mora's attempts to retaliate, while an increasingly incredulous crowd watches. At the end, Mora himself takes a moment to step in front of the camera and confirm for everyone watching that, yes, Duran's still got it.
* Perhaps the most extreme sporting example came at the 2009 Open Championship, where 59-year-old Tom Watson held a one-shot lead going into the final round and needed only a par on the final hole to win his sixth Open title. Unfortunately for him, he made a bogey and lost in a playoff.

* VideoGame/GrimFandango has Manny say this near the endgame, after Manny (a travel agent of the undead by trade) convinces Celso and his wife to accept Hector's offer for a Number 9 train ticket by recounting his perilous adventures through the Land of the Dead.
* VideoGame/KnightsOfTheOldRepublic: One line Jolee Bindo's battle speech is "I still got it."
%%%* In Overwatch, Soldier: 76's default voice line is this.
* A reoccurring element throughout the VideoGame/MetalGear series, is Snake getting told by MissionControl that "age hasn't slowed you one bit".
* In VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII, during the visit to The Caribbean, Jack Sparrow ends up in a(nother) unpleasant conversation with Luxord. After one too many utterances of 'parley', Jack gives him an angry TheReasonYouSuckSpeech and then gives the Nobody a taste of his pirate breath. He quickly takes a quick whiff of it himself and remarks, "Yup. Still works."
* Franchise/StreetFighter has more of a challenge version with Ibuki and Makoto. After Ibuki is in University, Makoto thinks university life has made Ibuki gone soft, to which Ibuki uses her InstantCostumeChange (in front of people) to get into her ninja outfit to have Makoto see for herself.
* VideoGame/ThemsFightinHerds: Texas says this at the end of his reveal trailer, though one of his victory quotes shows that his age has negatively impacted his fighting ability ("You should have seen me in my prime!"), with another has him declaring "Still got it!"... only for him to suddenly feel the consequences of overexerting himself.

* Erika when using her fame to jump the queue in this strip of Webcomic/MegaTokyo.
* Prof. Smith when taking a nap balanced on a chair in this strip of Webcomic/PHD.
* Webcomic/YetAnotherFantasyGamerComic: Eddy the wizard says it after getting rid of three dragons.

* Kaiba says this after defeating Pegasus in Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Movie.
* WebAnimation/RedVsBlue: Sarge still got the ability to build cardbord cut-outs of soldiers, then pretend to be a cut-out himself and surprise the enemy.
* WebAnimation/DeathBattle: Dante has this reaction after activating his Quicksilver style to counter Bayonetta's Witch Time.
-->Dante: Haven't used this in a while. Still got it!
* Pops up fairly often on Series/CobraKai:
** Johnny, being decades out of practice due to real life getting in the way, handles a GangOfBullies with ease.
** The leader of that GangOfBullies decides it would be a great idea to get handsy on Sam, who hasn't practiced much lately. She fends him off and gets BackInTheSaddle.
** The one thing Johnny's old gang doesn't regret about their bullying ways? All of them pushing 60 and they make short work of a bunch of troublemaking punks at a pool hall. Especially terminally ill Tommy, who dies hours later.

* Mr. Krabs says this after successfully asking Mrs. Puff out on a date in WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants.
** This is actually an inversion of the subversion since his invitation was a series of disconnected nervous babblings that Spongebob had to work to interpret, which under normal circumstances would warrant a macing and calling the police. Apparently this works for her.
* Subverted in the season five episode of WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons "Marge on the Lam," Homer is negotiating compensation for babysitting Bart and Lisa with Lionel Hutz. Hutz offers $175 dollars an hour. Homer offers $8.00 for the night and two Popsicles out of the freezer. Hutz wants three, but Homer doesn't budge. Hutz then settles on two Popsicles and a bent-up birdcage he found. After Homer agrees, Hutz mutters, "Still got it!" Never mind that he basically agreed to all of Homer's terms and only managed to convince Homer to give up something he didn't even have any use for.
** "Sorry, Donkey Kong. You're just not a draw anymore." (hit by thrown barrel) "Hey, he's still got it!"
** In one episode, a convertible full of young women stops next to Homer at a light and recognizes him from a photo of him on-stage with an exotic dancer. Of course, he still doesn't know this photo even exists, so when they call out to him, stand up and start dancing...
* "Dr Z" in WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers says this after entertaining children with his villainous tirades. "You never lose it."
* Parodied in WesternAnimation/CloneHigh: Joan's blind foster father, Toots, offhandedly tosses a basketball into the hoop and grins, "Still got it." Then he walks into a post.
* WesternAnimation/Gargoyles:
-->David Xanatos: And the most important thing: I was a little worried that I might be getting soft. But I was able to stand up against Goliath, the greatest warrior alive. I'd say I've still got the edge.
* WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime: Agent Fowler, after winning an aerial dogfight with a Decepticon (with a little help from Bumblebee).
* This is Mallory WesternAnimation/Archer's self-assessment after she looks in a mirror while doing a Sexy Coat Flash to herself... granted, she was talking about this and , but it still applies.
